Andrew paled and began to hyperventilate. Vader stood a few feet from Andrew, along with a few Stormtroopers. One of the guards came forward. "Lord Vader, what brings you to our humble planet?" he asked. Vader did not respond. Instead of responding with a flick of his wrist, he snapped the guard's neck. He stared at Andrew and raised his hand. Andrew felt a choking sensation, but Vader was too far away to be holding him. He was raised into the air gasping for air. No one dared to move. The air was cold, and the only sound that you could hear was Andrew gasping for air.
Andrew ended up passing out from the lack of air. Two stormtroopers loaded him on a stretcher and carried him away. Vader was about to follow but felt something. Something odd. This feeling came from James, Chloe, and Haley. "Take them," Vader said, and the troopers took James, Chloe, and Haley. They all followed Vader back to the Lambda-class shuttle. James and Chloe tried to fight back but were knocked out by the troopers. Haley still didn't react to anything.
"Wait! Wait! Please don't take my students!" Mr. Cooper yelled. He was sprinting towards them. Vader waved his hand at one of the troopers and shot him.
They boarded the ship, and they took off from the planet. James and Chloe woke up. James wanted to ask where they were going, but every time he was going to, he felt fear envelop him and almost choke him from speaking. "Lord Vader, he will be waking up before we arrive. Should we sedate him?" one of the troopers asked. "No," he replied.
Andrew woke up and got off the stretcher. He felt the same emptiness, but it wasn't as bad as on Alderaan. He looked around and saw Chloe and James glaring at him while Haley just stared at nothing. He was surrounded by four troopers, and Vader stood behind the pilot, looking out into space.
Andrew approached Vader. "So it's you," he said. Vader turned his head slightly but then returned his gaze to space. "So I take it Sidious wants to know who I am?" Andrew asked. Vader turned around. "If you wish to keep your tongue, I suggest you keep your comments to yourself," Vader told him and returned to his previous position.
They were approaching the Death Star. "What is that?" James asked. Andrew replied without looking at him. "It's called the Death Star, and it is the Empire's superweapon which they will use to destroy planets that don't fall in line with their dogma." Andrew then felt himself being choked by Vader without him moving. Though it was brief, it reinforced his previous request, and Andrew heard it loud and clear.
They landed in a hanger bay, and when they stepped off the ship, they were met by a few dozen Stormtroopers. They took James, Chloe, and a seemingly lifeless Haley. Vader didn't even have to tell Andrew he wanted him to follow since he wanted to meet Sidious anyway.
They were making their way to the observation deck. "I can't believe you got captured by HIM!" Andrew began to whisper. "How do you know him?" "We've met before, and I actually fought him…I lost, but this time he'll die by my hand!". Andrew thought to himself. "I need to know who he is. He lost to Anakin, so that's a long list…but since he's familiar with the Dark Side, that can't be too many people…Dooku? Maybe, but I need more information."
They had arrived at the observation deck with Tarkin looking at Alderaan and officers all around the room working at stations doing who knows what. "Wait, If the Death Star is here at Alderaan, that means Luke and Obi-wan are on their way now!" he thought. Vader stood next to Tarkin, and moments later, the door opened, and Leia came into the room escorted by a couple of troopers. The two exchanged looks and turned their attention to Vader. "Now, princess, tell me where to find the rebel base," Leia turned her head. "Now, why would I tell you that?"
Andrew was fanboying right now. He was literally in the middle of a movie scene. He kept his cool and answered calmly. "Because if you don't, Alderaan will be destroyed," Leia looked at him with fear and anger. Governor Tarkin walked up to her and added to Andrew's statement. "He is right…Princess. This battle station is the most advanced military installation this galaxy has ever seen. It has the firepower to destroy an entire planet. We will demonstrate this firepower on your homeworld unless you give us the location of the Rebel base," Tarkin stated as he eyed Andrew suspiciously.
Leia looked at the ground and then turned her head to Vader. "Dantooine, they're on Dantooine," Tarkin looked over to Vader. "See, she can be reasonable." an officer walked over to Tarkin, and Vader stood behind Leia. "Continue with the operation. You may fire when ready." Tarkin told the officer. Leia jumped at Tarkin but was held back. "WHAT?!" she cried. "Sorry, Princess, but I still want to demonstrate the ability of The Death Star, and everyone knows Alderaan is a haven for rebellion sympathizers," Tarkin stated, and with a wave of his hand, the Death Star fired at Alderaan and left nothing but an astroid field in its wake.
Vader had her escorted back to her cell by two Stormtroopers, and Vader signaled Andrew to follow. He did so without complaint. They walked into a dark empty room. There seemed to be something in the center of the room, but he couldn't depict it before the door closed, making the room too dark to see anything.
Suddenly a blue hologram of Sidious appeared in the center of the room. Vader was already kneeling when Sidious appeared. Andrew couldn't breathe. His bones ached, his face began to sweat, and his legs shook. All he could do was hopelessly stare at the man.
"So you are the boy from Alderaan," Sidious claimed
Vader, while kneeling, spoke. "He is strong with the force and has knowledge about things he should not," Sidious looked intrigued. "So what do you know?"
Andrew composed himself as best he could and spoke. "I know the ways of the force, and I have been waiting to meet the two of you. I want to be your apprentice."
Sidious cackled. "Lord Vader, dispose of this nuisance and then take the others to Coruscant," and the hologram shut off, and lights turned on. Vader got up and turned to Andrew. "Vader, I was speaking to you," Vader began to walk towards him as he ignited his crimson blade. "Vader, together we can destroy him, take over the galaxy. Even find a way to revive your wife." Vader stopped in his tracks after the last sentence.
"How do you know about her?" Vader asked him. "I know a lot of things as well as who you were. The most powerful Jedi ever, but instead, you chose to become a cut-rate Sith Lord compared to Sidious. He has you on a leash and is keeping you from all your glory." Andrew was still sweating. If this didn't work, he would, without a doubt, be struck down right where he stood. He couldn't even blink as he was too scared he'd be struck down.
A moment of silence passed, only to be interrupted by Vaders commlink. "Lord Vader, we have intruders in the cell block." Vader, without a second thought, left the room to investigate. Andrew let out a huge sigh. He wasn't sure what would happen, but he needed to find the falcon and hitch a ride. He was pretty sure Vader wasn't gonna keep him around since he ran his mouth.
He walked around the Death Star with all the fake confidence he could muster. He threw up his hood, and no one paid him attention. Officers figured he was with Vader since he wasn't chained up when he arrived. He felt Vaders presence as well as who he thinks is Obi-Wan. "They must be dueling now."
He made his way to the hangar where the Falcon was and saw Vader and Obi-Wan fighting. Vader had a noticeable cut on his arm. Andrew's words must've distracted him; good.
Andrew snuck into the Falcon when no one was around and got into the hidden storage space compartment under the floor. He heard everything like the first movie unfold. Luke shows up and sees Obi-Wan dying and screaming, then all taking off in the Falcon and escaping to Yavin.
With them arriving on Yavin, everyone got out and ran to the Rebel base to fight the final battle and destroy the Death Star. Andrew left the Falcon and looked around and was surrounded by jungle. The only thing he saw was a huge temple in front of him. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a couple of civilian starships land a ways away from the temple, and he began to make his way over to the ships through the jungle.
"So why did you ask to be Vader's apprentice." the voice asked. "Well, I just needed a way off the Death Star, and honestly, I have a better chance at life here with his help. I mean, he's the chosen one. Why wouldn't I seek him out?" the voice released a mind-shattering scream. "HE IS A VILE CREATURE AND WILL BE DEALT WITH AS SUCH! DO NOT SEEK HIS HELP! FOOLISH CHILD!" Andrew covered his ears out of habit, but it did nothing. "What the hell is this guy's problem? I get he hates Anakin but damn…."
He made his way through the jungle and came upon a glade with multiple starships. He smirked as he walked over to the nearest ship. It was a glorious sliver-plated XS Freighter. He was so captivated by the ship he didn't realize he had bumped into someone.
"Hey, watch where you're going." a voice told him. He turned to the voice and saw a woman. She stood around 5'3 with fair skin. She had golden hair that was put up in a ponytail. Her eyes were conflicted, the ocean waves crashing against the forest in her eyes. She wore a grey jacket and white shirt underneath. Along with tight, worn black pants and matching boots.
Andrew tried to speak, but he couldn't muster the strength to do so. The woman spoke. "So what's the interest in my ship?" Andrew snapped out of this odd feeling. "This is your ship? She nodded. "I need transport," he told her. "To where?" he shook his head. She put her hand on her hip and leaned on her right leg. "You want transportation to who knows where. Wasting, who knows how much fuel with no questions asked? 60,000 credits at least,"
Andrew looked at her like she was out of her mind. "I don't even own one credit, let alone 60,000," She smirked. "That sounds an awful lot like your problem. Now I am leaving, so if you have another way to cough up the credits, you better follow," she told him as she walked to her ship. He followed.
The two walked onto the ship and arrived in the cockpit, and She turned to him. "If you don't have that kind of money, then you have to work for me and make enough to equate the value. Sound good?" she told him as she sat down and powered up the ship. "Who are you?" Andrew asked her as the ship lifted off the ground. "The name is Karina. Karina Davis. Now take a seat. We are on our way to your first job." She told him as they exited the atmosphere and entered hyperspace. He managed to strap in right before they went into hyperspace.
A/N: Sorry, this definitely wasn't my best work, but it needed to happen. I promise the next one will be better!
