Narrator pow:
- What do you two of all people doing here? - Adam asked with anger as he was broight to the standard talk with Blake and Maken who paid him a visit. The whole thing happening of course throu the whole room of empty space, two reinforced walls and windows plus a handful of guards who just were doing the 'standing here and doing something' shtick for living.
- Depends. I want to check on you and help Blake with whatever she's going to talk about with you, the latter is up to her. - Maken calmly and clearly responded as he and Blake took their seats next to the microphones on the desk before them while Adam was waiting since he already did the same.
- In that case, what's the whole fuss all about now, Blake? - Adam asked again with 'I don't care' vibe coming out from him, his messy and unresponsibly long hair revealing the regress he had commited on himself during the jailtime.
- Should I start with personal things between us or the goals of common good? - Blake took her turn to make questions, slightly worried about the condition he was in.
- Personal things? They are all over now... Let's just go to business since we still can. - Adam said in response, making both Maken and Blake slightly and very suprised respectively.
- Em... As you wish then. - Blake said, with a slight feeling of clumsy approach echoing throu the megaphone as she spoke. - We, as a whole entirety of Faunus need you to stop this bloody conflict against humans. - She gave her goal away, making Adam scoff.
- And what do I get in return? Besides, these guys have more likely than less already got another furious dummy to backstab Sienna and bomb Haven Academy. - He responded with resignated voice, making Blake shake a little.
- What do you mean by that? - Blake asked him in response, but didn't got the response since Adam saw her having a strike of realisation soon after.
- Yes, I got on top of radicals by being the most radical. You two took me out of the game for more that two weeks so I'm obsolete and out of the control. - Adam said afterwards to which Blake only nodded in understanding manner.
- Since this is out of the question... I have one more thing to you, but... Eghh, dammit. - Blake stuttered a few times as she tried to say the other reason for her to come. - Maken, please say it. - She added to the companion om her left side who only nodded deeply in response.
- Adam. -Maken begin his turn, making himself as serious as he physically could. - We need you in our team.
Narrator pow (Diffrent place) :
- Ninety-seven... Ninety-eight... Ninety-nine... And one hundred pounds. This will be enough. - Shun said as he slowly counted ammount of wind dust he had at disposal in the current moment, earning a lovely cool breeze of the afternoon winds.
- The rest of our team haven't responded since you told them to check the news on the topic of Menagerie. - Skyress said in a geniuenly neutral tone. - Maybe we should talk to them about it?
- It wouldn't work, trust me on this one. - Shun responded with negative approach, taking a look behind himself at the house they were accomodated it. - We both saw them themselves, ammount of changes that happened here already passes intensivness of past three, four, maybe even five years in entire Remnant. And the fact that the people in heart of those changes are people they know in person doesn't make it easier. They need to take a break and process the while thing, then they will think what to do next. - He added, taking a look at the roofs of Haven Academy, narrowing his eyes as he spoke.
- Shun. Don't. - Skyress said with suspicion, sensing the full-grown idea in his head.
- You saw their 'training' and so did I. With this level of skill and mental state current plan of taking the relic is a suicide. I can do it better, faster and safer and we both know it. - Shun said with a deadpan, still starring at the Academy far, far away.
- It doesn't mean you can just run in one against many. This is not how the team works. - Skyress opposed again, trying to strike some sense into him.
- I am an addition, not the integral part. Qrow said so himself and Ozpin barely even flinched. This means I am free to act on my own, whenever others like it or not. - Shun said, justifying himself before his guardian.
- In that case I'm obligated to go there with you anyways. - Skyress said in response, going deeply into the grudgesome art of barganing with moral and social constructs.
- I guess we both don't see this as the same situation like with Yang. - Shun responded, reminding himself how he, Weiss and the others were calming the busty blondie for around five hours just for her to treat him like anyone else.
- Glad to hear you're typical, reasonable self, even if too focused on independence. - Skyress concluded the conversation with a smile as they both went to packing the wind dust for preparation on the final hour.
Maken pow:
- You want me to what? - Adam asked us with genuine suprise emitating from bith his face and tone. - I mean, why? After all I put you two through?
- That's the point, 'after all I put you two through' heard from you is enough for me to know you can be an positive value for everyone. If not for team chemistry then for skills. - I responded with a slight smile while Blake begin sweating from nerves.
- That... is your point. Mine point is: Why are you willing to give me chance in the first place? - Adam asked again, now absolutly baffled by the reality I put him in.
- Because we need you. All of Remnant does. - Blake cut in with a near cry as despair begin to appear on her face.
- Here, here. - I comforted her with a hug as my caring side kicked in on a instinct.
- You know what? I guess I'm obligated to do something after all of that crap I caused. - Adam said with somewhat touching voice as both me and Blake suddenly looked back at him with a feeling of obscurity in the whole scene. - All I ever wanted was to give Faunus a better life, regardless of the costs. It was just my poor mental state that got corrupted after you left me. - He explained himself, directing the last part straight towards Blake. - Then it all went downfall and I abandoned the ideals we all shared for a personal revenge. Where did it got me? Down to teaming up Grimm of all things! - He exclaimed with anger as he kept on talking about himself back then from current perspective.
- And now? How do you look at yourself... Now? - Blake asked him together, me holding her tight to prevent eventual falling over due to the emotional overdrive she currently endured.
- I fell bad. Not angry, not unfair. Just plain and straight out bad. - He responded, rising his head and giving us a look of determined redeemer. - If you two want to give me a chance of fixing my mistakes, I'm ready here and now. - He said as I saw a spark of fire in his eyes. A good slight when it comes to engagement.
- All right then Adam. - I said before me and Blake had a comminucative exchange of glares before we looked back at him and said this phrase with unision.
- Welcome to the Menagerie Royal Brawlers, Adam.
