Narrator pow:
"... So we're done." Maken smiled, as he, Blake, Griffon and Ravenoid were done with the plans for a development of the Menagerie as an island, complete with a whole system of railway construction, progressive settlement initiation and about everything four minds can come up with that is needed to colonize lifeless desert and rather savage seaside jungles.
"Fair enough, I do wonder how the others react." Blake added, looking up at the Sun.
"They will accept it, no problem." Griffon responded first.
"Besides, plans can be changed to suit others demands." Maken added before standing up and also taking a look at the Sun. "And that is only the beginning..."
Narrator pow (Diffrent scene):
"Thank you for coming after me, especially since you didn't need to." Shun said, as he and Weiss walked away from the Haven Academy with the relic in his hands.
"First of, I needed to." Weiss scoffed, unamused by his hyperindependent tendencies. "Second, we do need the relic if we want to keep it safe." She added with a slight concern as she saw a shadow silhouette of a human pass by with scroll in hand.
"You don't trust the Academy?" Shun asked her while Skyress listend from hidden pocket with curiosity.
"Not after what happened to last Vytal Festival and then Beacon, that's for sure." Weiss replied, relucantly looking away at the sky. "But now that we have the relic we can travel with it to Atlas and keep it safe in there, right?"
Maken pow:
"How much Grimm did you find in a meantime?" I asked Volt as we took a slow walk around the military docks where both a battleship and a new railway line were being constructed.
"Im Menagerie? Barely any given my and Emerald's reports." He responded, keeping his stale, serious glare. "But it does look like they decided to migrate towards Mistral territories."
"Mistral? To know what that means, right?" I quickly asked him in return, checking for my Teleportation ability card.
"Yes, they are heading for this relic or something." Volt responded, making unamused face.
"That too, but on the bigger picture..." I said to him, taking a pause to think about the answer. "... We need to take Mistral first if we want to secure it from Grimm." I continued, taking a sharp turn towards the piece of empty land and prepared previously mentioned card. "And before you ask: Yes, Mistral being a failed state is a common knowledge and the power balance in Remnant is long time gone so we got to carve the best position for further unification. Now go with me and rally up the Brawlers!"
Narrator pow:
"Everyone! Time to make the first strike." Maken said with decisive tone as his whole crew gatheres inside their center if operation. Aka. a living room of their joined house inside Bakugan City.
"This early? That sounds very risky." Sebastian responded first, disturbed by this proposition.
"It's not like we can do that anytime later, you know?" Chan Lee countered him, grabbing his arm in caring but enforcment-heavy style.
"Fair enough, but we won't just go in and shoot Grimm." Blake said, only to meet rather unsure faces from her friends. "Right guys? Maken?"
"You have something else to propose?" Maken asked her, taking his hand to settle down Lync back into his seat.
"From the work Volt's agency has done, we do know that teams RWBY and JNPR minus me and Pyrrha are currently inside Mistral as a City alongside one of the relics." Blake began talking about her proposal, much to the suspense of the others. "Our best bet is to contact with them and then work together against the Grimm before others from Menagerie can come and help us." She ended, seeing rather mixed reactions from the rest of her team.
"You really think they just take all of us without a major problem?" Emerald asked her, making an 'Are you serious?' face.
"It's not like they are known for long-thought decisions." Lync added, frowning his byebrows. "Given you did remember what Volt's report told us, they took the relic earlier than they planned and without majority of them agreeing to change the course of action." He added, sending Volt a communicative nod.
"Precisely, I don't think they can be an actual help when they can't agree on full teamwork, let alone being order by person they at least somewhat despise." Volt added, turning his face towards Maken.
"And assuming that the part about them knowing what we do is right, you being the one to contact them will backfire since they assume you joined Maken, which applies to all of us." Adam added, giving Blake the most unpleased facial expression I ever saw.
"I'm sorry Blake, but even you can see that trying to be nice towards your old team isn't going to work good... They are the ones to contact us first if we want to cooperate with them." Maken concluded, taking out his Teleportation ability card. "But now we go in, Mistral needs us more than ever before."
Maken pow:
"Everyone is here?" I asked as I jumped out of the portal and found myself on top of the Haven Academy, view over city of Mistral being seen whenever I looked in a flashing light of late afternoon Sun.
"We're here!" Tigrerra responded as I turned around and saw all of us ready for action. Well, all expext Blake who already took said action and looked in focus towards the East.
"Blake?" I asked again, making all of us turn towards her out of pure concern.
"They are already here." She responded, pointing forward at what seemed to be a group of people casually walking into the city.
People we knew very well.
"Cinder, Mercury, Tyrian, Runo..." Lync counted, taking the job of indentification up to himself. "... Mylene, Shadow, Komba, some new buffed guy, Watts. Yup, checks everything." Lync concluded, only for Volt to hand over his notes about so called Hazel Rainart, Aka. the buffed guy.
"They don't seem to hurry." Sebastian said, checking his pockets with a comforting smirk.
"That means we have time to send our greeting." I smiled as I sat down in a jumping position and prepared for a long jump.
"Maken?" Griffon asked me, his voice sounding as if he saw me losing.
"I have a plan, but I need you all to agree." I responded quickly, preparing my ability cards for a quick travel without teleportation. "I go there and hold them away while you run to look for Ozpin's group plus the relic. As for the time freeze during the brawl, just activate the gauntlets when they suddenly shine." I instructed them as I felt the power accumulate in my legs.
"You will?" Griffon asked me while everyone else nodded, althrough Blake and Sebastian visibly did so out of necessity. "But that's just madness, even for you!" Griffon added, basically scolding me for wantinv to doing my best.
And If I knew what not to do now, it was definitely to not hold back on this one.
"Oh yeah?" I asked him before jumping sky-high and turning around. "If you aren't going to help us NOW then I don't need you on this one!" I shouted, then throwing him away into Blake's hands before grabbing my scrap-made rocket launcher and using it to jump from rooftop to rooftop as quick as possible.
Narrator pow:
"Welp, you heard him. We got to scatter." Volt said with decisive tone as rest of the Maken's group run into various direction, leaving Blake with Griffon in hand.
"May I be damned! He always ditches me when put under pressure." Griffon sighed, looking up to face Blake. "Can I join you for this one guys?"
"Sure pal! Just strap yourself." Ravenoid responded happly, grabbing him into the pocket before Blake threw her grappling hook and swinged away into the city, looking for the goals Maken specified earlier.
