Narrator pow:

"Alright, we can talk now." Maken said with awful tone as he and Blake had a mature conversation in the prior's bedroom.

"You got obsessed with power, I already know it. But why did you ask me to think about why you did it?" Blake asked him, blocking the doors with decisive body posture while Maken stood behind the bed.

"It's about understanding. I know that I should never go that far, I already knew that. But it didn't stop me from doing that. Do you see the problem?"

"The same as with me back in a day?"

"Exacly. You also went forward with your troubles even after I helped you a bunch of times. And while I know you are better now, we need to figure out what to do with me in that case."

"... You can't just change yourself..."

"No one does. Being aware of your flaws and being able to eliminate them are seperate things."

"... Maybe try opening up to me?" Blake finally asked him, almist making him fall in the bed flat.

"About what?" Maken asked in response, sending her desperate look that in no way fitted to the situation whatsoever.

"Outside of the facts that you were a mafia soldier in childhood, lost Manion to Grimm you... Didn't tell anyone of us a thing about your past. Even me, your own bride technically speaking." Blake paused to collect the thoughts as the word 'bride' threw her slightly off. "But you can tell me, right?"

"..." Maken silently stared at her, before sighing deeply and turning his face expression from indecisive to moody. "What do you think a one feels when he has to live all life between birth and the age of twelve of fourteen as anonymous goon of some criminal?"

"When I first joined the White..." Blake began speaking, but paused as she suddenly realised something. "You didn't had a choice, did you?"

"Infants don't pick who adopts them. It all depends on who comes first and says 'Hmmm, this kid looks good.'. You joined White Fang because you wanted, I joined crime because they picked me... And that affects mine mind too. Criminal underworld gave me a strong sense of low profile and showcasing my power to ensure mine will... "

"And you never tried to boss around Beacon?"

"Low profile things only. Having a bunch of friends who always look for me with final word is the thing I looked for back then. Only later on I had a rise of the ego in my subconciousness and decided that being a guy to change the world for you is a thing to do."

"So when we kissed back then all the things we had together..."

"I was honest to you, but wasn't such to myself. I wouldn't dare to break your heart after all of that, even my darker side wouldn't do that."

"And it's mostly fair that I'll do the same to you." Blake sighed, taking a brief look at the scroll before walking up him with arms loosely resting on her sides. "Everyone else stays behind in Haven to do the thing or two before the main forces come in and secure the place. Now we're all alone for eachother and can work out any issue you have, so let's begin..."

"Do you know what is happening there?" Griffon asked as he and Ravenoid guarded the doors to Maken's bedroom from the corridoor side.

"Maken has a mental breakdown and Blake returns the favor, nothing that needs us to come in."

"Oh, I know this one. Blake is just going to use that magic of friendship and love to make him a better person?"

"No, dummy. She will talk to him like any normal person should. You don't need to be in close relation to do such a thing, otherwise a job of psychologist wouldn't exist."

"Aaaghhh... I'm a soulless monster..."

"What was that?" Griffon asked, as they heard a lamenting of what sounded like a very sad man in a corner of the pub who just lost the last two reasons to live.

"The mental breakdown part, it already began." Ravenoid responded calmly before whistling to himself. "The details aren't important here. Therapy isn't about what is said but about how it's said."

So, how did it go?" Adam asked, as he and Shun shared a moment of free talk while several bullheads flew in and out from City of Mistral.

"Besides of Weiss no one wants to go with us and they all went towards Argus." Shun responded, looking for a moment to the left where Shadow and Lync had fair turns while telling bad puns to civilians. "As for the Mistral itself, Volt promised full control within a week alongside rebuild efforts thanks to Kingdom's goverment being oficially dismissed by anyone expect other three Kingdoms."

"Playing tough, huh? May aswell focus ourselves here while royal family works on Menagerie."

"Agreed, so where is some Grimm to eliminate?"

"Northwest and Southwest off the city. Skyress knows the rest."

"Sure, let's go there." Shun nodded at the end as the threw his guardian into air and remotely transformed into a real form thanks to recent modifications styled after Volt's Custom Battle Ability.

"Of course." Skyress added as he jumped onto her back and the two flew away while keeping safe distance from a suprisingly crowded airspace above the main landing pod situated next to where they talked.

"Now then, let's see what the big guys have in place. Salem surely sees us as a main competent threat by now." Adam thought, as he decided to turn around and find the higher rank of command within the Royal Brawlers left in Mistral, needless to say that he wasn't one of them this time.

"How long were they in by now?" Griffon asked, as he and Ravenoid circled in front of the doors for quite some time.

"An hour or two. I lost count." Ravenoid responded before siddenly he tacked his pal and stuffed him under the opposing wall.

"What now? Wanna fight?" Pyrus bakugan asked before the two looked at the doors opening themselves while Blake with Maken came out throu them, the6latter having visible tear marks on his cheeks.

"No thanks, I'm in no condition for that." Maken smiled, shrugging off some thoughts as he took of the tears from his eyes with the jacket sleeve.

"We're fine now, just don't be rude." Blake added as the two took their respective guardian bakugans into hands.

"We won't, mistress." Ravenoid responded first.

"Not to my brawler." Griffon added before the four on instinct decided to have a group hug.

"Oh, and one thing." Blake added as the four squished themselves in the best way possible. "What happened inside remains between me and Maken, no but's or why's."
