She ran out of the room as fast as her legs could carry her.
"…he is dead…"
She shook her head rapidly.
"Akasuna no Sasori…is dead."
It wasn't possible.
Hadn't he promised that he'd wait for her?
……………………………………………………………………………………………….
He stomped down the corridor, frustrated.
That Hyuuga brat…the nerve!
Did she not recognize who he was?
He was the Deidara, the genius of Iwagakure!
And who was she?
Just some rookie missing-nin!
He rubbed his throbbing forehead, wincing.
How…How dare she sass me, un!
For Danna's sake, I'm not her mother!
Muttering curses under his breath, he proceeded to open the door to his room.
He was prepared to make a few voodoo dolls of that brat…
…Suffer in hell…
Voodoo dolls always work.
A huge gust of wind blew past him, messing up his hair and interrupting him from his thoughts.
Glaring, he turned around, only to find a trail of footsteps printed onto the floor.
…Huh?
Who was that?
Narrowing his eye, he followed the footprints.
A few seconds later, he reached a dead end.
Someone's there…
Who?
Upon closer inspection, he realized who the person was.
"YOU! What the hell are you doing…" His sentence trailed.
A girl with indigo hair was crouched in a corner, sobbing quietly.
……………………………………………………………………………………………….
She ran without stopping, even when she passed by a flash of gold.
Don't stop, continue on…
Wasn't that what you always told me to do?
Soon, she reached a dead end.
Perfect.
Wasn't it?
She slid down the wall, her face buried in her hands.
Akasuna-sama…
You're not truly gone, are you?
Tell me the truth...
Tears trickled down her face.
Tell me the truth…
Somebody was yelling at her.
It's happening again, right…?
Akasuna-sama…
The yelling stopped.
You've broken your promise again…
So just…
"Tell me the truth, then! AKASUNA-SAMA, TELL IT!"
Her sobs wracked her small frame.
You liar…
Why did I trust you?
Sasori…
I miss you.
……………………………………………………………………………………………….
He blinked at her yell.
Akasuna-sama…
Isn't that…
Sasori-danna?
He shook his head to clear it from its thoughts.
Slowly, he bent down, until he was almost eye-to-eye with Hinata.
She was sobbing harder than before.
Hesitantly, he placed two fingers on her chin, and tilted it upwards.
He was met by milky, watery orbs.
His heart thumped.
Why…
Why am I…
"Who is Sasori-danna to you, Hyuuga…un?"
Why am I doing this…?
……………………………………………………………………………………………….
Something whirred in her mind as she cried.
He was talking to her.
And…
He was touching her.
Huh?
What the hell is happening?
Why is he staring at me like that?
"Who is Sasori-danna to you, Hyuuga…un?"
A gentle voice prodded her from her thoughts.
Sasori…danna…
Who is he…to me?
A master?
A friend?
A confidante?
Or…
"Akasuna-sama is…somebody I hold close…to my heart...the one to give me light…"
Yes…that sounded right…
A warm hand cupped her face.
This…
This feels nice…
It's almost like him…
Is it him?
I hope…
You'll never leave me again…
She closed her fingers around the hand.
And with that, she shut her eyes, and drifted into sleep.
……………………………………………………………………………………………….
I'm prone to doing short, probably cheesy and cliché chapters…
Argh.
Small case of writers' block + inability to write romance me at the moment.
Can anyone give me tips on how to write romance?
So far, I've been reading Shojo Manga to help me.
It's polluting my mind.
Fluff overload, I tell you.
Fluff overload.
