A bit more of Addison in this chapter which some people have been asking for!
Chapter 4
Meredith tried to sneak in a quick nap after Derek had left but 5 minutes later her pager was going off again. She groaned and sat up, grabbed her lab coat, and exited the room. Christina was passing the room as she exited and Meredith fell into step with her.
"Paged to the pit?" Meredith asked.
"Yep. Hopefully, it's something good." Christina replied looking over at Meredith. She narrowed her eyes at the sight of her. "Why have you got sex hair?"
Meredith blushed. "I don't have sex hair. I just had a nap."
Christina raised her eyebrows and watched her blush deepen. "Who was it? McDreamy or McHotty?"
"Oh my god, Christina."
"What? Don't tell me there's another one in the mix?" Christina said shrugging with an evil smile on her face.
Meredith just huffed in indignation and ignored her. They rounded the corner to the ER and walked up to Bailey to receive their assignments.
"Took you two long enough. Did you think I was kidding when I said answer pages at a run?" Bailey said with a look on her face.
Meredith and Christina wisely chose not to reply.
"Hmph, both of you go see Dr. Montgomery in trauma 2."
Both girls nodded and made their way to the room. For the third time that day, Meredith froze at the sight of the doctor in the room. Christina looked around her to see what had caused the other girl to stop in the middle of the doorway and sniggered. That broke Meredith from her shock and she elbowed the other girl in the ribs to get her to shut up. Addison looked up from what she was doing and raised her eyebrows at the two interns.
"Are you two just going to stand there or are you going to help me?"
Both girls hurried into the room and started taking instructions from Addison. The whole time Meredith was internally cursing everything that had led to this moment.
"She's supposed to be an OB, what's she doing here?" Meredith whispered to Christina.
Christina shrugged and whispered back. "I don't know, but this is hilarious."
Addison cleared her throat. "I'm not an OB, I'm a peds surgeon but I've also trained in general surgery so I have a very varied caseload. Not sure why you thought otherwise."
"Oh ahh…Sorry… I just assumed because ahh… I saw you on the OB floor." Meredith spluttered out.
"I was doing a consult on a newborn. Maybe if you hadn't run away you could've asked." Addison replied smirking.
Meredith just blushed further while Christina tried to stop herself from laughing out loud.
"Order a full set of labs and take her up to CT ASAP. Page me when you get the results." Addison ordered and walked to the door. She turned with another smirk on her face. "And Yang, make sure Grey doesn't get lost in any on-call rooms on the way."
Meredith's mouth dropped open and the laugh that Christina had been holding in came out. Meredith turned and glared at her as Addison left.
"What did you do Meredith?" Christina asked still laughing.
Meredith glanced down at the patient to make sure she hadn't miraculously woken up. "I went for a nap in the on-call room and Derek was in there."
"And let me guess, you climbed right on top?" Christina interrupted raising her eyebrows and smirking.
"Not immediately." Meredith mumbled.
"Whatever, but how does McHotty know?"
Meredith groaned again and put her head in her hands. "She walked into the room halfway through."
Christina's face turned to one of pure glee. "No way. No fucking way Mer."
Meredith removed her head from her hands and looked up at her. "Then after we finished I found out that she's Derek's ex-wife."
Christina's mouth dropped open and she was speechless for a few seconds. Once the shock had passed she let out a shriek of laughter and doubled over.
"Shut up!" Meredith hissed at her. "Hurry up and help me move this guy."

Meredith had just gotten the lab results from her patient and Christina was nowhere to be found. A part of her was pretty sure that Christina had disappeared on purpose. It seemed that Meredith's life was her one form of entertainment and the other girl was relishing in how complicated Meredith's life had gotten. She sighed and decided to just bite the bullet and take the results to Addison by herself. She paged her to meet her in the CT room and made her way there.
"Dr. Grey, took you long enough." Addison said as she grabbed the papers out of Meredith's hands.
"Sorry." Meredith mumbled softly.
Addison sighed as she read the labs and checked the CT. "She needs surgery. Since Yang is nowhere to be found, I guess it's you scrubbing in Grey."
"Yes!" Meredith cheered under her breath. But cleared her throat when Addison looked at her with raised eyebrows. "I mean, thank you Addison. I appreciate the opportunity to learn."
Addison's eyes flashed and she moved to close the door and the blinds. She slowly started cornering Meredith into the wall. "In the walls of this hospital, it's Dr. Montgomery." She whispered putting both arms against the wall, trapping Meredith in place.
Meredith nodded quickly, her heart rate speeding up. "Yes, Dr. Montgomery. Sorry Ma'am."
Addison smiled. "Good girl." She moved her lips closer to Meredith's. "You better remember that when I make you scream my name out the next time you're in an on-call room."
Meredith's eyes darkened and she wet her lips in anticipation.
Addison pulled back and smirked at her eagerness. "Prep the patient for surgery, Grey. I'll see you in there." She said as she flicked her hair back and exited the room.

Meredith had to hand it to her. Not only was Addison a brilliant surgeon, but she was also brilliant at not letting anything distract her from operating. In the OR it was like she was a different person. There was none of her usual flirting or innuendos and she had made sure she had taken the time to teach Meredith well every step of the way.
She stepped into the scrub room where Addison was already scrubbing out and smiled at her. "That was great to watch and I learned lots. Thank you, Dr. Montgomery."
"You're welcome. I'm sure I'll be teaching you lots in the future." Addison replied winking at her as she left the room.
Meredith shook her head at herself and sighed. How the hell had she gotten herself into this position. There was supposed to be one thing that she was focusing on. Surgery. That was supposed to be her life for the next five years.
But now she found herself weak at the hands of two of her attendings. She had always been in control when it came to sex. She didn't understand why now of all times, she had met not one but two people who made her lose all inhibitions when she was around them. Not only that but they were her bosses! Her divorced bosses.
She exited the room and headed to the locker room. The surgery with Addison had meant she was finishing well past her scheduled time and she was exhausted. There was only one place she was going and that was her bed.
Unfortunately, she was ambushed as soon as she opened her locker. Izzie and George both stood next to her with bright smiles on their faces. Meredith glared at them, knowing she wasn't going to like whatever they were going to say.
"What?" She grumbled.
Izzie and George looked at each other and Izzie spoke. "We saw your advert for flatmates on the noticeboard."
Meredith narrowed her eyes suspiciously. "Yes. And?"
"Well, actually it turns out that both of us are looking for a place as well."
"Nope not happening, I already see you both every day. I don't want to see you at home either." Meredith said, shaking her head.
Her two colleagues just looked at her with their puppy dog eyes. Meredith finished what she was getting out of her locker and slammed it shut. "Don't give me that look. I said no."
Izzie narrowed her eyes and grabbed Meredith's keys out of her hand. "I'm not giving these back until you say yes."
Meredith rolled her eyes at her and reached out to try and snatch them back. "Izzie. Give me back my keys."
Izzie held them above her head so the shorter girl couldn't reach them. "Only if you agreeeee." She said in a sing-song voice.
Meredith glared but pondered for a moment. Maybe it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to have them as her flatmates. At least she knew she somewhat liked both of them. If she was honest with herself she didn't really want to have two complete strangers move in with her. It wasn't even like she would have to share much with them. She had her own bathroom, she never used the kitchen and she would probably be spending most of her time at the hospital anyway.
"Fine. Whatever. You can move in." She muttered and Izzie and George started cheering and jumping around. "But not until tomorrow! I need my sleep and I need it now."
"Yes, no problem! Thank you so much Mer! We're gonna have so much fun!" Izzie exclaimed, still jumping.
Meredith just gave her a look and turned to exit. Christina was sitting on another bench smirking at her.
"Don't say a word." Meredith said pointing a finger at her.
Christina laughed and mouthed "Softie."
