Chapter 12

The morning of their wedding, and it was a beautiful morning indeed. Granted, it was an island paradise, but today, the weather seemed just a little more perfect. The sun shone a bit brighter, the breeze was gentler; not a cloud in sight and Olivia had just stretched and turned over in bed. She smiled and sleepily she reached for Peter and was surprised when her hand found his place empty. Immediately she opened her eyes and was greeted by a note on the pillow, held in place by a bunch of beautiful hibiscus flowers that decorated the landscape of the house they were staying in. She smiled as she sat up and leaned on her elbow, picking up the note and started to read it.

Good morning, beautiful,

I'm a little superstitious, sue me! But I figured since we bucked all other traditions, we'd keep it safe and not see each other before we say 'I do'. Anyway, I took Noah out for breakfast and a talk… seems unreal to be saying it, but it's going to be actual in just a few hours!

See you at the courthouse, Mrs. Stone, I love you!

Peter

She lay back against the pillows, holding the note close to her heart while bringing the flowers to her nose. The scent was gentle but so pleasant as she smiled, looking at her beautiful ring that sparkled in the sunlight that was pouring into the room. Today was her wedding day!

...

"So, you know me and your mom got engaged yesterday…" Peter said as Noah and he sat eating a virtual breakfast feast. They must have bought every item on the menu and they were halfway through it already.

"I can't wait until you guys get married," Noah said after he carefully swallowed the piece of melon he was eating. "...do I get to be in the wedding?"

"Well, that's what I wanted to talk to you about. How would you feel about your mom and I getting married today?"

"TODAY?!" Noah shrieked, he nearly choked on his waffles when they suddenly went down the wrong way. Luckily Peter was there to hit his back a couple of times.

"You okay?" Peter asked, rubbing Noah's back once the coughing subsided. He handed Noah a cup of juice and encouraged him to drink it slowly.

Feeling better, Noah put the cup down and turned to Peter, still over the moon. "YOU AND MOMMY ARE GETTING MARRIED...ALREADY!?" He could hardly catch his breath and Peter couldn't help but grin.

"We decided not to wait if that's okay with you,"

"So, you'll really be my dad? No take-backs?"

"No take-backs,"

"Can I call you dad?"

"You can call me whatever you like…" though he hoped it would be dad. He'd already felt for months like Noah was his son, and to have him acknowledge that, would be a dream.

"Your mom and I just wanna be sure that you're comfortable with me being around now all the time."

"So, no more weekends, we get to live together, you, me, and mommy, every day?"

"Are you okay with that?"

"Heck yeah!"

"Oh God," Peter laughed, "don't let your mom hear that. Anyway, I wanted to ask you something."

"Me?"

"Uh-huh. Will you be my best man?

"Really?"

"Really. So what do you say?"

Noah thought about it before he finally turned to Peter. "Remind me, what does a best man do, and can I call mom?"

After getting out of bed and showering, Olivia sat out on the verandah with a cup of tea in tow. Tea always got her nerves to calm down, when they were all over the place, like now. She didn't feel like breakfast, suddenly feeling butterflies in her stomach. Big butterflies. She couldn't remember ever having been this shook up before. In just a few hours, she was getting married, and honestly, the idea made her crazier by the minute!

She'd just hung up with Noah and Peter and now she wondered, was she crazy when she'd suggested last night that they get married today? She'd be Peter's wife. There was no going back from that, and she wondered if perhaps in her excitement, she maybe moved too fast. Noah was certainly excited about it. He loved Peter, and so did she, more than anything. But suddenly she was nervous. She'd gone forty-nine years of just her; of just being herself, defining herself and now she'd be a wife. Could she do this?

"If we got married," David started but she hastily cut him off.

"Married? Wait, who's talking about marriage? Last I looked, we were having fun just taking this thing easy." She said as she curled up next to him in bed. Though if truth be told, she could see a future with this man.

"We are, but amuse me. So 'if' we were to get married, would you want a big wedding?"

"No."

"No?"

"No. I always thought that weddings were more about impressing people. The big place, the big dress...a million people in the bridal party," they both laughed. "No, if I marry, it'll be very small, and intimate…"

He looked over at her, lying there with her hair a beautiful mess all over the pillow that supported her beautiful head, and he reached out to tuck a lock behind her ear and away from her face before smiling.

"I'll have to remember that…"

Why today of all days was she thinking of David Haden? It was so long ago; before so much happened in her life- before Noah even. She guessed because out of all the men she'd dated before Peter, he was the only one that she could say she honestly loved. It's funny how she never thought that she would feel that again; not with Brian or Ed, but now she was at that place again, in love with Peter and it felt so wonderfully perfect even though she'd sworn off lawyers after David.

She thought about it, sitting quietly in the lounge chair with her feet curled up under her, the gentle winds blowing softly through her hair.

"You can, Olivia. You are so in love with him..." God, nothing was ever more true. She loved him, heart, and soul. And knowing that he felt the same way, there was no greater feeling."

"You're finally on the same page as the man you love…" In her heart, she knew that it was right. And he loved her; she could see in Peter's eyes, feel it in his touch, in his kiss that when he said I love you that he meant it with the entirety of his being. If she had never been sure if she was doing the right thing, she was sure of this.

It just screamed at her to come into the store even though she hadn't intended on buying a dress. This wasn't going to be a fancy wedding at all, but when she came from the jewelers after buying Peter's ring, there it was, and it called to her. Looking at the delicate, French lace gown in the store window, she knew she had to wear it. And when she saw the way the bone-colored dress just clung to her body in all the right places. It was a simple A-line with spaghetti straps and it was tea-length. It was light and comfortable and she'd fallen in love with it. It was an utterly gorgeous dress and she couldn't ignore that it fit her body without the need for any alterations. It's as if it was made for her and she could just imagine when Peter saw her in it.

It was a little after four when she arrived at the courthouse, her hair done up in a styled ponytail and her makeup light. She was headed up the stairs when she suddenly felt dizzy and had to stop as she clutched the railing to steady herself. That's what you get for not eating, and running around in this heat!

For a second, she closed her eyes as she took a deep breath but opened them when she realized that she'd forgotten flowers! However, deciding that it was too late to do anything about it, she hurried up the remainder of the stairs to get inside to her waiting groom.

...

In a few moments, Peter would be marrying the woman he loved and that had him more nervous than he'd care to admit. What if he turned out to be a terrible husband...or father? He'd be taking on that role too, getting Noah as well as Olivia in this marriage and he didn't know which would be a bigger disappointment to him if he let either of them down. His dad, though he loved their family, and tried his best, he had been lousy in both departments when it came to his tireless pursuit of the law. Peter had vowed that he would never allow work to keep him away if he were lucky enough to have a family one day.

He looked at Noah, sitting there beside him in the pews, playing with his Nintendo switch. The love he felt for this child; soon to be his son, was only outweighed by the love he felt for Noah's mother. But even Peter thought that in its difference, sometimes it was greater. He was today signing up for a lifetime of being there for Noah, even though he had already taken that role in his life. He told Noah that he'd always be here for him, regardless of what, and he meant it. He was just so unbelievably thankful that Olivia said yes to marrying him. Today they'd become a family. He'd be hers and she'd be his, and Noah would be theirs.

"When is she coming, I'm bored?" Noah whispered to Peter.

"When I talked to her, she said she was on her way, so any minute now...you excited?"

Just then, Olivia got off the elevator looking left and right. Noah was the first to see her and ran happily towards her.

"Mommy," He shrieked happily. "you look beautiful!"

"Thank you, baby."

Peter, from where he stood, literally lost his breath. Shakily, he got to his feet and grabbed the bouquet of red roses, not being able to keep the smile from his face, nor the tears from his eyes. He lost his heart at that moment, but his nerves suddenly calmed. He realized that there was no way he could ever be anything less than a wonderful husband, it's what she deserved. It's what Noah deserved and he'd spend his life making sure that he gave the two of them all of him.

"You look…unbelievably gorgeous!" Peter said, breathlessly as she stood. She was an absolute vision in the lace dress that she'd paired with strappy heels, and he wondered what he did to ever deserve her as she blushed, smiling that heavenly smile.

"I wasn't gonna buy a new dress, but when I saw it... Anyway, you like it?" And she did a little spin.

"It's perfect," he said, staring at her with such love. Her skin that had been further kissed by the sun here in St. Thomas was a golden dream against the silk of the dress and its soft curves. Accentuating her soft curves. She was stunning. Suddenly remembering, he presented her with the bouquet in his hand.

"You remembered." She was on cloud nine as she held the flowers up to her nose and took a heady sniff.

"Of course I did. Every bride needs a bouquet.

"Ready to make this legal?"

"Are you kidding, I've been counting the minutes…we're gonna be a family!"

They were in front of the justice, with Noah, and the court bailiff to bear witness.

"...we celebrate the diverse journeys that brought them here together, and we usher them toward the new journey they will embark upon as partners."

Tears were already in their eyes as they stood in front of the justice, holding hands and looking so lovingly at one another.

"A true lasting marriage instructs effort, commitment, and unending respect. And as Peter and Olivia declare their love on this day, we reflect on the meaning of marriage and its importance to success. Partners, in life, think of one another as teammates, equally capable, but each arriving with their own special skills. A marriage thrives when each partner chooses to value the other: for everything they are, and for everything they're not…"

"Peter reached out and wiped a fallen tear from her cheek. Mouthing, I love you. And receiving an I love you too.

"There is no limit to what a partnership can accomplish when trust and admiration flow abundantly. Today, Peter and Olivia acknowledge this with excitement as they prepare to join hands in marriage. Peter, I understand that you've written your own vows?"

"Just little ones…" Peter said and everyone laughed as he looked at his wife and son. "I just… I've never known true love before you but you've given me so much of it. I make a promise to you today that I will never take that love for granted. You've given me a family, and I will always try harder every day to be a better man, better father and husband than the one I am today. I love you, Olivia, and I love you Noah, with everything I have." He said as tears made their way down his face. Olivia quickly wiped them as her own continued to spill.

She managed to compose herself to speak. "When we first met, I didn't think we'd ever have anything in common enough to even form a friendship, but you saw things differently and I'm so grateful you did. We've become so much to each other, and you've become even more to me. You've been patient when I needed it, steady always and you've never been demanding, except when you begged me to give you a chance…" they laughed as she wiped her eyes. "And I'm thankful every day that I did. You've shown me what real love is, and I'm gonna spend the rest of my life loving you!"

"Please present one another your rings." The justice said and Noah handed Peter his while Olivia took hers from the pocket of her dress.

"These rings symbolize the strength of your commitment to this marriage and the love you share. Please place them at the third fingers of your left hands and repeat after me:"

Olivia handed her son her bouquet to hold while she and Peter took each other's hands and positioned the rings.

"I, Peter and Olivia, do take you to be my husband/wife/…"

They tearfully repeated the words in unison, each saying their own name and respective titles.

The justice continued. "I promise from this day forward I will regard you as my equal partner in all things…" They repeated his words, as they looked so lovingly at one another. "...I promise to comfort you through better or worse, in sickness and in health, till death do us part, keeping myself unto you for as long as I live."

They'd said the words and sealed them with the rings...

"A ring is an unbroken circle, with ends that have been joined together, and it represents your union. It is a symbol of infinity, and of your infinite love. When you look at these rings on your hands, be reminded of this moment, your commitment, and the love you now feel for each other. Before these witnesses, you have pledged to be joined in marriage and have now sealed this pledge with the giving and receiving of these wedding rings. I now pronounce you man, and wife," the elderly justice said to Peter and Olivia as they stood before him, ahead of him getting to the "you may kiss your bride" part, Peter had already taken Olivia in his arms like nothing else in the world even mattered.

The justice said the words anyway even though they were hardly paying attention. "You may kiss your bride!"

...

That night at the beach house, they had gotten back after spending the rest of the afternoon taking pictures then having a nice, celebratory dinner as a family. Noah of course fell asleep and now, Peter had just gotten him down and changed and walked into Olivia and his bedroom.

"He is down for the count,"

"Good. Because I don't want any interruptions. Not tonight." She said from the bathroom while he took off his shirt, muscles rippling in the soft light of the bedroom.

"I see you started without me?" He said, referring to the shower when he saw steam wafting out of the bathroom but didn't hear water, then turned and looked twice at the room while shutting the door. It was beautiful. Flower petals strewn upon the giant canopy bed and around the floor. On the other side of the room. The patio doors were open wide with candles lit both outside and in. It was such a beautiful night here, like every night and they could see the beach with the sun setting on the ocean and he smiled. They hadn't been here all day so when did she do this? He wondered as he looked at her wedding dress hanging from a satin hanger from the shoji screen and smiled.

"I didn't think you'd mind; I wanted to get a jumpstart on your surprise."

He froze as he took off his pants. "My surprise; you mean, other than the bedroom decorations?"

"It looks beautiful, doesn't it? But no, I have something else for you and I hope you like it,"

"I'm sure I will, whatever it is. I can't get over how beautiful you looked today. This dress was just perfect..., if we're being totally honest, I wish you'd have kept it on. I would have loved to take-'' He swallowed the words on his lips when she came out in all white. A delicate, sheer lace bra through which he could see every curve to her breasts and nipples. The bra was matched with an equally sheer garter belt that was attached to the faintest of stockings. And to top it all off, a pair of sheer lace crotchless thong panties. He was sure in that moment that he'd died and was seeing his last earthly image on a loop that had been burned into his brain as he stood there with his mouth open.

"You know I thought about that. But then I thought I'd wear something special for our wedding night."

He gave no reaction, he couldn't, except for his penis which began to get hard in his boxer briefs.

"...and it looks like you approve," she said, looking at his stiffening cock.

He'd never seen her look so perfect. So delectable! Her nipples were practically spilling from her brassiere, hell, she was practically naked, AND the panties were crotchless? He'd married a bonafide freak! He thanked God and whatever else was floating around in the heavens as he stepped close to her and looked her up and down.

"My God, you're so fucking gorgeous; I still can't believe you're mine!" He said with a growl before he pulled her close and kissed her like his soul was on fire! His hands were traveling her ass, grabbing at it and every inch of her that he could reach.

"Slow down, lover." She whispered in his ear as she teased his crotch with her fingertips but never quite touched him, kissing along his ear and neck.

"Baby, if you knew what just seeing you in that outfit was doing to me…" she smiled, running her tongue along her lips and kissed his lips before she got down on her knees in front of him.

She ran her hand over the muscles in his abs and scraped his stomach with her fingernails while she let her teeth skim the very large outline of his dick through his underwear, paying special attention to the head. She bit with just enough pressure. She knew how to tease and he was coming undone. He drew in his breath through his clenched teeth and blew it out the same way. She was making his body go crazy as his mind was, and he wondered why he's wasted so many years away from home when this woman was right there, all along.

She picked her head up to lock eyes with him for just a second before she ran her tongue over either side of the v on his abdomen that framed his beautiful cock. She licked and kissed, her hand making its way down his navel and the thin trail of hair that led to his underwear.

"Oh God, Liv…"

"Shhhhh…" she hushed, a finger to her lips, and went right back to what she was doing. She took hold of the band around his waist and pulled the fitted shorts down his legs and off his feet. His dick was standing straight up at this point. She got so wet just looking at it.

"Why don't you go and sit on the bed bench?"

"What?" She had to be kid- or maybe she was going to… He sat on the bench as fast as he could get there, his cock in hand, stroking it as he walked and man spread all over the long, upholstered bench.

Olivia sat across the room, still on her knees, watching him. They were both so turned on! She sat back on her haunches and put her hands in her lap.

"Hands off!"

Without a second thought, he dropped his aching cock, precum now leaking from its tip. But he let it hang there between his legs, dangling. No questions.

"Good boy." She praised. "Now, quick question…" she said as she put her left hand on her right bra strap, teasingly pulling at it. "On or off?"

"Off- but I'd rather you let me," God he wanted to touch her even worse. And when she spread her legs, giving him a peek of her beautiful bald pussy lips, and her always perfectly trimmed triangle of hair on her mound, he had to fight himself right then to not grab her, throw her down, and fuck-

"Same for the panties?" She asked, her fingers now lightly touching herself. She put a little too much pressure on her clit (totally for his benefit) and moaned.

"Oh, Jesus…! Fuck, Olivia, you have to let me…" he said, halfway off the bench and looking hard.

"...touch me?"

He was looking desperate, and it showed how pitifully his voice came out. "Please,"

"Not yet baby," she was toying with him, wanting to see just how far she could go. "Sit back and relax." She said, moving her hand and closing her legs.

Was she kidding? She was taking it away?

He looked distraught as he got back onto the bench. She began to crawl to him, sensually, her movements slow and cat-like and he thought he'd lose his mind. He couldn't stand this! His dick was hard enough to split wood, and if she didn't let him touch her soon he would literally die, right here! She was in front of him in no time and she smiled a smug smile before she looked at his open legs to his hard cock.

"Can you do something for me?"

"Do I get to touch you sooner?"

"In time." She said, her mouth was so close to his, he could taste her breath.

"I want you to restrain yourself."

His mind was so hazy from the promise that he'd eventually be having sex, it took him a minute to understand.

"Re…?"

"...strain. Arms on the bedposts and no touching until I say so. Can you do that?"

"I can do that," but every man had his breaking point, and considering he'd already almost reached his, it wouldn't be long.

"Good." She rose, making sure that her breasts brushed his face. He tried to catch one of her nipples with his mouth but failed, and she smirked at his effort fiendishly. It was such a kick to her to make him want her so bad. She turned around and bent over, her ass smack dab in this face.

Oh sweet lord!" He uttered, as he tried his best to be still but he could see everything. Her slit was right there. Her pussy, her clit, her ass, all of it. He could see how wet her pussy already was, smell her heady scent as she reached between her legs and ran her hand down her slit. She stopped at her asshole and slid in her middle finger, moaning as it went in.

"Olivia…" he couldn't think of anything right now except fucking her. And when she slowly inserted another finger, he thought he'd faint. The sounds she made… Dear God!

After getting herself off for a moment, she slowly took her fingers out of her ass and reached back, putting them in his mouth and he sucked them like she had just given steak to a hungry dog. And he didn't dare use his hands.

"You are such an obedient boy. I'm gonna reward you." She moved her hand from his mouth and sat between his open legs, leaning back against his muscular chest, grinding against him. He thought he'd die right there.

"Do you remember the first time we fucked?"

"The first…" He couldn't think. She was sitting on his cock; grinding her ass and pussy against it, and all he could think about was her.

"...time we fucked?" She spread her legs, wider, allowing the lips of her pussy to open wider and envelope his dick more. He fought so hard for his arms to not come closer and grab her. His cock was going to burst if he didn't get inside her! "You were so rough with me and I loved it!"

"Liv, baby…"

"The way you tore my clothes off...grabbed my bra and pushed it up. You bit my nipples while you sucked them. They'd never been so hard or so sore afterward before." She said as she cupped her breast through the bra. "I remember that I was afraid of you, afraid of what you would do to me...what you could do to me. You threw me face down, over the arm of that couch in your office. You didn't give me a second to think about it, you just tore into me, and fucked me so hard,"

She suddenly stopped and turned to face him. Her legs beautifully astride his hips as she stroked his dick. "I didn't expect you to be so big. And the way I cried out...I want you to fuck me like that night, like the first time. Can you do that for me, baby?"

"Can I touch you?" He asked, pleading. There was an urgency in his voice. The urgency she'd been looking for.

"Now you can."

0-60. The second she permitted him, she was in his arms being kissed like the world was ending. He carried her to the bed where he put her down upon rose petals and started to kiss and suck his way down her body.

"You're a bad girl to tease me so long!" He rasped as he flipped her onto her stomach, then pulled her legs so that she was now bent over the bed. He stood and slapped her ass hard, causing her to flinch as she moaned in appreciation, absolutely loving the sting to her backside as she gripped the sheets.

"You want my ass, don't you?" She smiled, only for him to slap it again, harder, and she squirmed, a whimper coming from her, followed by a moan. God, she loved it. Her pussy was so wet, and the stings that his slaps gave made her insane for more. He wrapped her hair in his fist, pulling her head back, and leaned above her, talking low and sexy in her ear.

"And I'm gonna have it." He said and playfully bit her ear before they kissed upside down and sloppily. Their tongues were leaving long trails of spit in between their mouths but they just kissed deeper.

He slapped her ass a third time, in awe at how it jiggled while she cried out, nearly coming from that one. She felt in every part of her, her nipples were hard, her clit was excited and her pussy was leaking at this point.

"Oh my God…" she whispered, more like a prayer than anything. She was pretty much breathless. And when he bent to soothe her ass, rubbing and kissing the very reddened globes while playing with her clit. He hit her ass a final time, once on each cheek before he immediately filled with his cock. He didn't waste time, fucking into her so hard and deep that she lost her breath momentarily.

"Peter...FUCK!" She screamed. The sensations were overtaking her. The way he pounded away at her pussy, she was so stretched and so full. So- he pulled out. "Pe-"

She didn't even get his name out before she felt him at her little asshole and her eyes rolled up in her head. He was rubbing his cock up and down her slit while he had gotten the lube from the nightstand and poured it on his dick.

"Spread your legs for me, baby." She did, the second he asked and he wasted no time lining up to her asshole and pushing inside. She moaned and exhaled. It had been too long since they fucked like this and it felt too good, especially once he was in and began to go slowly at first but soon he was taking her asshole like he owned it.

"Peter please don't stop

Slamming against her already reddened cheeks and fucking her as deep as he could get and she pushed right back, wanting him still deeper, grunting and moaning.

"That's it, baby, take it!"

"Oh my God, you're making me cum...fuck, Fuck, FUCK!"

Just like that night in his office.

Two whole days later of wedded bliss, and tonight they were finally back in New York City after two weeks of rest and relaxation. Noah had fallen into a sound sleep while on the plane and as Olivia unlocked the door and started to walk inside…

"Uh-uh," Peter said, stopping her in her tracks and causing her to glance his way.

It was too late for this, they were both exhausted; though she'd never get tired of seeing him carrying Noah. Her son- their son, fast and peacefully asleep in his arms just did something wonderful to her every time she saw it.

"What?"

"You stay right there, I'll be right back!" He said and stole a quick kiss before he hurried inside with Noah while she stood in the hallway, the door wide open and she laughed to herself at how silly she must look. She turned her head this way and that, hoping that no one suddenly appeared in the hallway and was so thankful when Peter reappeared in less than a minute.

"Sorry about that, let's get you inside," he scooped her up, holding her bridal style.

"Still on this?" She asked as she wrapped her arms around his neck as he carried her inside and shut the door with his foot.

"It is our first time back here since we became man and wife. Welcome home...temporarily.

She smiled as they kissed before he gently put her down. "A million things to do before then. Maybe we should have thought about this more,"

"Do you love me?" He asked, holding her right.

"You wouldn't believe how much!"

"Then that's all we need. Everything else will fall into place, so don't worry." And he pecked her lips. "Now, I really could use a shower right now, maybe some takeout afterward,"

"Hmm, Thai?" She asked.

"Good choice!"

Later as they relaxed in the living room...

"Red or white?" Olivia asked from the kitchen as she searched her small, yet impressive wine rack. She was dressed only in a sleep shirt, while he wore just loosely-tied pajama pants.

"White please; something sweet." He said from the couch where he continued eating.

"Sweet it is… you know, I still can't believe we're back in the city already,"

"Missing St. Thomas already?" He smiled

Olivia beamed, smiling at the thought. She still couldn't believe it. "We did get married there." She spread her hand in front of her, looking at the beautiful rings that adorned her third finger.

Peter caught her, staring at her hand as he went over to her and wrapped his arms around her waist from behind her. "...any regrets?" He asked as she poured out two glasses of wine, laughing as he tickled her neck with his kisses.

"So far...none?" She grinned.

"So far?" He feigned hurt as she turned around and handed him a glass before he leaned in and stole a kiss.

"Our first time kissing as a married couple in this apartment. Kind of feels like our wedding night all over again."

"Oh, it definitely can again…"

"Leave it to me to say yes at my age to a man with a libido like a teenager. She laughed. "tell me again why I married you?" She playfully interrogated.

"Oh that's easy; your libido is just as healthy as mine, and of course you love me…"

That put a smile on her face. "More than anything. Which is good considering that our friends are gonna be so pissed." She let out a small laugh as she made her way into the living room and sat on the sofa, sipping her wine. "Mel and Casey may never talk to me again,"

"Same with Malcolm and Katelyn." he took a hearty sip from his glass before sitting down beside her on the couch and eating again and feeding Olivia from his chopsticks. "Kevin won't care, as long as I'm happy, he's happy."

"Sounds a lot like Fin. He just wants me to be happy."

"You think he will be?"

"Can I tell you a secret? Fin's been in your corner a lot this past year, and I don't mean just on things work-related. He'd never say it, but he thinks you're good for me and Noah."

Hearing that gave Peter a bit of a big ego, and he smiled, hard. "He does?"

"You never heard that from me!" She laughed and relaxed further into the couch, putting her foot in his lap. "you know, I've been thinking about us and our little family,"

"What about?"

"I know that we talked about adding eventually, but we haven't exactly talked about which way we would go adoption or surrogacy,"

"I figure we have time, I mean unless you want another child right now?"

"No. I mean, I know that the little mister wants a brother,"

"He's kind of obsessed with it…"

"I know, but I don't think it would kill him to wait a year."

"A year?" He said, totally caught off guard, but definitely in a good way. They'd never actually talked about when they wanted more than Noah, and she was right, they certainly didn't discuss how. Now she had put a time-frame on it. It was suddenly more than just some idle thoughts they had about one day. One day was here. It was real, and to say he was happy right now was an understatement!

"Liv, are you saying what I think you're saying?"

"I am. I realize that I'm not getting any younger, but we did just get married," she said as she took his hand and laced their fingers. "...and I know it's selfish, but I want to focus on us for now. Is that, okay, us waiting for a little?"

Peter brought her hand to his lips and kissed it. "We'll wait as long as you want."

"I realize that I'm saying this entirely too soon, but you're a pretty good husband!"

"I am, aren't I?" He grinned as she put down the carton of food and got closer. "I've got one more surprise for you,"

"Peter, you've given me everything I could ever need,"

"Don't say that yet, we've got a lot of years left and I plan to spend every one of them being an incredible husband. Now, stay right there!" He said before he reached behind one of the couch cushions and brought out a small box that was wrapped beautifully.

She was intrigued and wondered what it could be. "Hmmm, small," she said as she shook it. "Jingly…"

"...or you could just open it…" he said and received a playful hit on his chest after which she opened the box and was surprised to find a set of keys inside.

"Keys?"

"To our vacation home. You loved the beach house in St. Thomas so much, I bought it for you as a wedding present."

Her mouth dropped as she looked at the keys, then back at him in shock. "Peter!" She cried and was on him, hugging and kissing.

"I take it you like it then?" He said, laughing as he kissed her.

She was already teary-eyed. "It's where you proposed to me,"

"And where we first made love after we were married. That night, you said you wished we could stay there forever and we can't do that, but we can go back whenever we want. That house already holds memories for us, and I don't know, I guess I wanted it for all three of us...welcome home baby!"

"Welcome home!" She said as he leaned in and they kissed sweetly. "You know those libidos we were talking about?" She asked him as she climbed on his lap.

"What about them?" He asked as he allowed his fingertips to dance across the skin of her neck and trace her collarbone then used his tongue to kiss her, snaking it in between her lips, and into her mouth. He sucked and tasted as he savored her, taking her ravenously while his hands made their way down, and under her shirt until they were at that place that was getting beautifully wet with her desire for him.

"I think we're gonna put them to good use tonight,"

"Are we now?" Nipping at her neck as he stroked her between her thighs, his head went lower until he had her nipple in his mouth, sucking it to a stiff peak while thrumming the other with his fingertips. He loved the way her nipples were always so sensitive and took the liberty to gently bite down on the one, driving her insane! She tried to keep it down so they wouldn't wake Noah, but moaned quite loud, losing herself in the feel of his hands and mouth.

"Oh fuck!" She screamed as she writhed against him. With his head in her hands, she bit his lips before she devoured his mouth in the steamiest of kisses that she quickly broke when the urge overtook her and a lust-filled cry escaped her throat as he pulled at her nipples through the fabric of her shirt.

"Shhhhh!" Peter laughed as she grasped his hair, and struggled to keep it down.

"You know what that does to me!"

"Oh, I know well and good. What do you say we take our wine and go christen the bedroom?"

"I'd say, we won't need the wine!"

He quickly picked her up, her legs wrapped around him and he hurried to the back of the apartment, completely closed Noah's door, and entered their bedroom, still kissing.

"Can you imagine when we have a couple more little ones running around?"

"No talk. A year, remember?" She said and kissed him before he laid her down on the bed. He stared at her there for just a moment, reveling in how exquisite she was. Those long, gorgeous legs that he would be in between all night long, giving her all of him.

"Got it. A year."

"You gonna stare at me much longer, or…" she smiled as she started to unbutton her pajama shirt, but he gently grabbed her hands to stop her while he lowered himself over her slowly, his body pressing against hers.

"That's my job Mrs. Stone…" and he leaned in to claim her mouth with his in a fiery kiss before he went down her chest and took one of her nipples again in his hot mouth, while his other hand stroked her softly as she spread her legs to give him more room. He slid a thick finger into her while his thumb rubbed her clit as she gasped.

"More baby!"

Never one to disappoint, he pushed another finger inside of her and began to pump them in and out. She lost it, crying out as her hips began moving in time with his fingers.

"I love to hear you cry out when I'm stroking you like this," he said before he went down and took her clit in his mouth.

They had a very welcoming first night back home.

The next morning was Monday, and after two solid weeks of vacation, neither of them were excited to go back to work. Noah on the other hand was pumped to be going to day camp for the next three weeks and couldn't wait until nine o'clock so he could board the bus and begin his adventures. He'd be trying out singing and dancing for the first time and he was excited.

"Can we go to Coney Island after camp today?" Noah asked while he ate breakfast. Scrambled eggs and toast were the only things that hadn't spoiled in the two weeks they were gone.

"Coney Island?" Peter said, eating a piece of toast. "I haven't been there in ages." Olivia handed him a cup of freshly brewed coffee before she poured one for herself.

"So can we?"

"We can't tonight sweetie, I'm working late, then it's back here to pack up. We get to move, remember?" Olivia said, bopping through his curls as she sipped her coffee. She noticed right away that it tasted rank and she quickly spit it out into the sink. "Ew! Peter, baby, don't drink…"

It was too late, he had already taken a hearty sip and swallowed it.

"...the coffee."

"What, it's fine."

"It's not,"

Peter sipped his coffee again and turned to her, not seeing what she meant. "Liv, are you alright?"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, the fruit and now the coffee? Maybe you're catching a bug."

"I haven't been sick since 2009, I'm fine."

"Daddy?"

"Peter looked at Olivia, a smile bursting on his face. He'd waited for this moment since Noah first asked if it was okay, and now it was here. Peter thought he'd died from happiness. There were actual tears in his voice as he answered him.

"Yeah Bud?" He cleared his throat.

"Can we start packing my room when I get home? I can't wait to move!"

At the office, things were running surprisingly normal when Olivia got off the elevator and looked around. For all its pains, she missed this place and couldn't wait to get back to work.

"Well look at you!" Fin said as she stepped into the squad room. He was so happy to see her and made his way over to greet her with a hug. "How was vacation?"

"It was amazing! Hey, where is everybody?" She asked as she walked to her office with Fin following.

"Out on calls, court cases, you know the half. Damn you look so relaxed, maybe I should go on vacation."

"I think Melinda would appreciate that." She smiled and looked around her office. "So, I wanted to tell you something, um, Peter and I, we-" just then, her desk phone rang and she signaled to Fin that she'd be with him in a second.

"Benson...yes, chief Dodds, fine thank you." Fin knew that that signaled their time was up for now and politely excused himself from her office.

...

At Peter's office, he had a few minutes to himself and he used them to call him friends, having Malcolm, Kevin, and Katelyn on a zoom call.

"This had better be important," said Malcolm, "it's barely 6:30…"

Peter smiled. "I knew you'd be up. How're the babies?"

"Look for yourself," he said as True came into view holding the beautiful little ones.

"Hey, Peter!" She said.

"Hi True, ahhh look at them!"

"Yeah, you caught them at a quiet moment." She laughed. "Say hi, uncle Peter." She said to the twins who just smiled. Peter's heart melted.

Kevin cut in, "Hello, people we can all ooh and ahh later. What was so important that you had to get us all together? Dammit, Katelyn!" He yelled when he looked and Katelyn's box was empty.

"I'm here," she said suddenly appearing on the screen.

"So… guess what?"

A mix of answers came, from "I don't know…" to "it's too early for this…"

"I got married on vacation."

Katelyn and Malcolm gave a Without us?! While True gave a surprised Peter, I haven't even met her yet! But Kevin just laughed and clapped joyously before he happily offered Peter his congratulations.

"Locked it down, huh? Kevin said while the others stared at him and Peter.

...

It was lunchtime before they knew it and Olivia had a date with Melinda and Casey that she was dreading. She knew that they would lay into her about the wedding and she was not ready for that. Her thoughts were broken when Fin came knocking on her office door.

"You know how we were looking for a witness in the Rodriguez case before you left?"

She closed her laptop and took off her glasses. "Tell me we got one," she said, getting up from her desk and coming around to stand in front of it.

"We got one!"

"Who is it?"

"Mrs. Rodriguez,"

"His mother?"

"When we had to pick him up again, she said that this was the last time. She just picked him out of a lineup and signed a statement connecting him to the other rapes."

"So we got him?"

"We got him. The DAs on his way. Just wanted to let you know." He said and started to leave. "Btw, what was it that you wanted to tell me earlier?"

"Uh, actually," she said smiling, looking at the ring finger of her left hand that she had been absently playing with before she held out her hand to him.

"What's this? Liv, you got engaged?" He was already so happy for her with a huge smile on his face. But when she suggested that he should "Look closer" he took her hand, brought it closer to his eyes, and saw that the engagement ring separated from the other ring. The other band...a wedding band…

"Nooooo! Liv, my God." He couldn't help hugging her at this moment, and they stood, embraced.

"I couldn't wait to tell you!" She said as there was a knock at the door. They broke apart just as Amanda and Carisi walked in.

"Are we interrupting something?" Amanda asked and Olivia laughed.

"Fin was just congratulating me. What do you need?" Carisi and Rollins looked at each other.

"Congratulating you on what?" Amanda asked, ignoring her question. Olivia held up her hand, showing off the gorgeous diamond ring and its partner. Amanda's eyes went wide.

"Is that…?" Carisi asked

"Oh my God! You got married?!" Amanda cried as she hugged Olivia. Just then, Melinda and Casey walked in. They had overheard and were not happy.

"Okay, tell me we didn't hear what we think-" Casey started, but Melinda finished.

"You got married, and we weren't there? When did you even get engaged?"
