So, this is an idea I've had kicking around in my head for the past three years. I finally broke down and decided to do it because I was told about a story with a similar premise, with a different pair of characters, so I really wanted to do my take before someone else does. This story may actually be my first to be completed, as there is a set number of routes that can be taken and that will be the end of the story essentially. Of course, there are infinite routes I could take, but I will just do the main ones that I feel should be played out.
Additionally, each chapter after the second chapter can also serve as soft reboot of the series, and could each become their own story, so if anyone wants to take a chapter idea and run with it to make a story, be my guest. That being said, my story does have cohesion to all of the chapters, but obviously you can just take out those parts and use the premise. I've actually yet to decide which ending to finish on though, so I could have a happy, or horrible ending, guess we will find out when we get there.

Chapter 1 – Light Novel route
-Nineteenth of April-
'Issei, there is something special I want to do to celebrate our first date.' Said a dark-haired girl, standing across from her date for the evening in a park, the water of a nearby fountain, the only other noise in the area.
The sun was setting, casting an eerie pink glow over the area and there was no sight, or sound, of bird, or woodland creature.
'W-what is it that you want me to do?' Asked the boy known as Issei, a brown-haired boy with spiky hair and a rather plain appearance.
'Will you die for me?' Asked the dark-haired girl.
There was a moment of silence, as even the fountain seemed to still at the severity of that question, before the water within continued to pour out.
'Eh? I think I misheard you there, can you repeat what you said?' Asked Issei.
'Will you die for me?' Repeated the dark-haired girl.
'Aha, are you playing a joke on me, Yuuma? That's so funny.' Laughed Issei nervously.
The sound of wingbeats was suddenly heard and before Issei knew it, Yuuma had transformed into an angel, as a pair of black feathers dropped down from the sky.
'It was fun, the time I spent with you. It was like playing house with a small child.' Said Yuuma, her tone sounding much deeper and far more menacing than previously.
Suddenly, a purple spear of light materialised in Yuuma's hand. Its form was shaky and not fully formed, seeming to waver between a solid and liquid state. Moments later, the ill-formed weapon thudded into the gut of the confused boy, piercing his stomach, and leaving a fist sized hole in his abdomen.
'Sorry, you were a threat to us due to your Sacred Gear, so we decided to get rid of you early. If you want to blame someone, blame God who put that Sacred Gear inside of you.' Said Yuuma, not knowing that she had just tempted fate.
The dark-winged supernatural being then flew away into the night air, leaving her date to bleed out and die, satisfied with a job well done.

-Twentieth of April-
The next day, the dark-haired and dark-winged girl, awoke from her slumber. Their bed was within a church, under its foundations, in a dimly lit room. The true name of this person was not in fact Yuuma, which was an alias used by the person for their assassination the other night, no, their true name was Raynare.
Raynare was quietly pleased with herself after yesterday and had a small smile on her face as she set about preparing for the next few days. This smile would remain on her face for most of the day, until one of her colleagues returned that night with news.
'Raynare, why was that little pet project of yours still alive?' Asked a man wearing a trench coat and a fedora.
'What?' Asked Raynare, the smile which had been on her face now wiped away completely.
'Not only is he alive, but he is also a devil now too.' Said the man.
'What are you talking about Dohnaseek, I speared him through the gut and watched him bleed out?' Questioned Raynare.
'Then you need to get your eyes checked, since the boy I just speared through the stomach fit the exact same description. So, either he has a twin brother that none of us knew about, or you failed in killing him.' Said Dohnaseek.
'I'll deal with it later; we have more important things to worry about at the moment.' Said Raynare bitterly.
'I think failing to assassinate a human with an inactivate Sacred Gear is enough for me to worry about right now, let alone what the rest of the plan may be.' Said Dohnaseek with a scoff, before walking off, leaving a fuming Raynare behind.

-Twenty-third of April-
It was a few days later that Raynare moved on to the next stage of her plan. An excommunicated nun was due to arrive at their base, however, they were late. Raynare considered going out to find the girl, but it was only a few hours later that she arrived. Taking notice of the girl's energy though, she noted they were not alone. Peering out of one of the many observation points in their base, Raynare saw the boy she swore she had killed, Issei, beside their target. Her icy glare cut through the air and evidently, by the way the boy stiffened momentarily, it seemed he felt her murderous intent. Expecting the boy to try and lead the nun away from the church, Raynare was surprised that the boy let the nun walk towards the church alone. Raynare made her way down to the entrance and prepared to greet the nun.
'Sister Argento, welcome to Kuoh.' Said Raynare kindly.
'Oh, forgive me for being late, Lady Raynare, I was lost and unable to find my way here.' Apologised the nun in Italian.
'Do not concern yourself with your lateness, the important factor is that you have arrived safe and sound. Allow me to take you to meet the others who will look after you while you stay here.' Said Raynare, with the nun bowing and thanking her repeatedly for her kindness.
Raynare took the girl to the basement and found her other companions. There were three other fallen angels, two female and one male. Dohnaseek was the male fallen angel, as always, clad in his fedora and trench coat. The two females were on opposite ends of a spectrum, Kalawarner was tall, busty, and cool, while Mittelt was short, petite, and feisty. Kalawarner wore a trench coat-like top with a miniskirt and high heels, while Mittelt wore a Gothic Lolita outfit with thigh-high stockings and simple black shoes.
'Ah, my name is Asia Argento, I am honoured to meet so many important and respected figures, please look after me, oh great angels.' Said Asia, bowing deeply to the group.
The group seemed to smirk collectively at this, none of them taking offense in this particular situation, at being addressed as angels.
'Come now, Asia, we are here to guide you. Let me show you to your room.' Said Raynare, causing the girl to raise her head and thank her profusely.

-Twenty-fifth of April-
Raynare, along with Kalawarner, Mittelt and Dohnaseek were flying at speed towards a house in the middle of town. Asia had been dispatched to assist one of their exorcists who was hunting down users of Devil Flyers. It seemed things had escalated though, and numerous devils had arrived at the location, with the barrier being dropped. The exorcist was expendable, but Asia herself was not, which is what necessitated the entire brood of fallen angels in the church to respond in force. By the time the group of fallen angels had arrived, there were no devils left, and the exorcist was ranting at the nun.
'Freed, what happened?' Asked Raynare, seeking to take control of the situation.
'This shitty devil lover let them escape.' Said Freed, before descending into more obscenities.
'Sister Argento, what happened?' Asked Raynare sternly.
'Um, it wasn't a devil, it couldn't be, it was Issei, he is my friend who helped me find my way to the church when I arrived.' Said Asia.
'Sister Argento, from the magic in the air, it is clear you were attacked by devils. If this Issei is in fact a devil, he cannot be a friend of yours.' Said Raynare slowly.
Asia looked as though she wanted to argue this point, but instead bowed her head and nodded.
'Very well then, let us return to the church for now and discuss things further there.' Said Raynare.

-Twenty-sixth of April-
'That girl snuck out.' Said Kalawarner, speaking to Raynare, who was at that moment, looking over some schematics.
'Fine, I'll go get her back.' Sighed Raynare in annoyance.
Sometimes Raynare wondered if her so-called partners ever actually did anything half the time, since every mess fell back on her to clean up. If she didn't need them as meat shields later on, Raynare would have considered doing all of this on her own. After tiding up her notes for now, Raynare set off through the air, seeking to track down their wayward nun. Raynare found the nun with little difficulty, as she was out walking on the street with her distinctive attire on, but it was her partner that caused her to pause. Again, it was unmistakably the boy she thought she had killed, Issei Hyoudou, and not only that, now being much closer to him, Raynare could confirm he indeed was also a devil as Dohnaseek said. Raynare had just arrived as the devil boy declared he wanted to get along with the nun and this thought amused Raynare as she interrupted them.
'It's impossible.' Said Raynare, as she descended from the sky.
'To think, you really survived, and became a devil too.' Said Raynare scornfully.
'Lady Raynare.' Said Asia.
'Raynare?' Questioned Issei.
'Oh yes, I never did tell you my real name.' Said Raynare offhandedly.
'What do you want?' Asked Issei, shifting his posture into a defensive stance, much to Raynare's amusement.
'Quiet, low-class scum! I don't talk to filthy low-class devils. Asia is our personal belonging, and I am coming to retrieve her.' Said Raynare spitefully.
'N-no, I don't want to go back to the people who would kill other people. Also, you people did things to me.' Said Asia fearfully.
Raynare seemed to absorb the second part in confusion, before brushing it off as likely something Freed had done.
'Please don't say that Asia, you, and your Sacred Gear, are an important part of our plan. I even came to look for you personally when I heard you had gone missing.' Said Raynare.
'Stop, can't you see she doesn't want to go back with you? Yuuma, no, Raynare, what are you going to do with her?' Interjected Issei, causing Raynare to seethe internally.
'Don't use your foul tongue to speak my true name, you will dirty it. Besides, shouldn't you run back to your master; you might die here if you don't?' Threatened Raynare, as she formed another light spear.
In response, Issei called forth his Sacred Gear, which had the appearance of a Twice Critical. Raynare laughed at this, before explaining how weak the gear was to Issei, before he used it to double his power. Raynare watched in amusement, as a sliver of hope appeared in his expression, before she ruthlessly annihilated it, by throwing her spear at, and through, his abdomen again. The nun started to heal the boy and Raynare took this as a chance to get her way.
'Asia, if you don't want that devil boy to be killed, you must come back with me. You Sacred Gear is essential for our plan.' Said Raynare.
'Shut up… I won't let you.' Said Issei shakily, as he was being healed by said Sacred Gear, only for Asia to speak up.
'I understand, I will come with you, but please don't hurt Issei.' Said Asia, before turning to Issei.
'Issei, thank you very much for today, it was very fun.' Said Asia, before walking over to Raynare.
'Yes, good girl, Asia. After today's ritual, you will be freed from your suffering, so let us go.' Said Raynare.
'Wait, Asia! We're friends, aren't we?' Called out Issei desperately.
'Yes, we are friends. Thank you for being friends with someone like me.' Said Asia, before Raynare's wings enveloped her form.
'Low-class devil, looks like your life was saved by this little girl. If you get in my way again though, I will definitely kill you.' Said Raynare, before the two disappeared into the air.

Arriving back at the church, Raynare quickly sent Asia to her room and tracked down some of the exorcists and ordered them to guard her room. Raynare then made her way to her notes and moved down towards the basement pedestal, where Kalawarner was waiting.
'Are we still not set up? We need to do this tonight.' Said Raynare.
'Relax, we are almost done.' Said Kalawarner, holding some bands in her hand.
'Good. Make sure all the exorcists are guarding the area and make sure the three of you watch them too, I don't want us being disturbed tonight during the ritual.' Said Raynare.
The next few events of the afternoon played out quickly, with the altar being set up and Asia being brought to it once the moonlight was shining through. Raynare quickly organised everything and gave her final marching orders to her fellow fallen angels, before sending them onwards, leaving her alone with Asia. The ritual was long by average standards, taking almost an hour, but its versatility to apply to any Sacred Gear made up for this.
'Asia!' Screamed Issei, as he barged in, just as the ritual was about to finish.
'Issei?' Gasped Asia in surprise.
'It's a touching reunion, but you are too late.' Said Raynare, before Asia's body started to glow.
The diminutive nun cried out in pain, before a large light came out of Asia's body. Raynare cradled the light in her hand as though it was the most delicate and valuable thing in the world. Raynare then brought the light to her chest and enveloped it with her arms. After a few moments, the light faded away and seemed to be absorbed into her form. Raynare's body started to glow seconds later, leading to her laughing in joy, an expression of pure ecstasy on her face.
'I finally have it! The supreme power! With this, I can become a supreme fallen angel and payback all those who were looking down of me!' Exclaimed Raynare, uncaring of the world around her in that moment.
Raynare watched as the devil boy made his way to the dying nun.
Issei untied Asia from the cross and held her in his arms.
'Asia, I came to take you back.' Said Issei.
'…Yes.' Said Asia softly, her voice barely audible.
'It's futile.' Said Raynare, watching in amusement, even as Issei maintained a hopeful expression.
'Possessors whose Sacred Gear is taken away from their body will die. That girl is going to die.' Explained Raynare.
'Then give the Sacred Gear back!' Demanded Issei, causing Raynare to laugh in amusement.
'There is no way that I will give it back. You know, I even deceived my superiors to get my hands on this. I will kill all of you and erase all evidence.' Said Raynare haughtily, revealing her deception.
'Damn it. You are nothing like the Yuuma I remember.' Said Issei bitterly, causing Raynare to laugh again.
'It was pretty fun. The time I dated you.' Said Raynare.
'You were my first girlfriend.' Said Issei, causing Raynare to smile.
'Yes, watching you try to make things perfect was very cute. It's fun to play around with guys who have no experience with a woman.' Said Raynare.
'…I was serious about taking care of you.' Said Issei slowly.
'Ufufu, yes, you did take care of me. When I was in trouble, you managed to take care of it right away and made sure I didn't get hurt. Did you know though, that I set all of that up on purpose? It was funny to see your face when you were in a panic.' Said Raynare.
'…I spent hours planning our date to make sure everything went perfect.' Said Issei.
'It was such a plain date; thanks to that I was very bored.' Said Raynare.
'…Yuuma.' Muttered Issei, causing Raynare to smirk.
'I chose that name so I could kill you at dawn. It was very fitting, wasn't it?' Said Raynare, loving the change in Issei's expression, as she revealed the last secret she was holding on to, hoping to see the sting it would cause.
Raynare was not disappointed, as Issei screamed her name and stood up in a rage, his shoulders trembling in anger.
'I don't want a low-level scum like you saying my name.' Said Raynare coldly.
The devils then discussed a plan to let Issei escape with Asia's body, much to Raynare's amusement. The two companions of her date cut through the exorcists with surprising skill, causing Raynare to launch a light spear at the pair, which was dodged easily. Raynare raised an eyebrow, not expecting the devils to be that skilled. The tiny devil picked up a downed exorcist and threw their lifeless body at Raynare, causing her to leap out of the way, only for the blond-haired devil to be waiting for her with an upward slice of his sword, landing a small gash on her right forearm. In a burst of frustration, Raynare threw a pair of light spears at the feet of both devils, causing them to jump back, while also giving her a chance to escape, flying out of the hallowed building and returning on a higher level. Raynare spotted Issei still holding the body of the recently deceased nun, while shouting up at the air, pleading for God to help him.
'A devil repenting in a place like this, pleading to God? Or were you wishing for something?' Teased Raynare.
Issei turned to face Raynare, who raised her arm and showed him the wound she had just sustained.
'See this wound I got from your friend, I can heal it now, any kind of wound. To fallen angels who have lost the protection of God, this Sacred Gear is a wonderful gift. Now, as a fallen angel who can heal others, I will rise to the top of the ranks, and I will be a great help to Lord Azazel and Lord Shemhazai. There is nothing better than this. Lord Azazel, my power is all for you!' Monologued Raynare, slowly causing Issei's ire to rise.
'Like I care.' Said Issei.
'I don't care about that. Fallen angels, God, and devils… those things had nothing to do with this girl.' Said Issei.
'No, it did. She was a chosen human that possessed a Sacred Gear. Just like I said to you, this is all God's fault.' Said Raynare, unaware of the hole she was digging herself.
'…Even so, she could have lived quietly. She could have lived a normal life!' Shouted Issei.
'She couldn't. Those with irregular Sacred Gears would be left out of the world and groups. Possessing a power is isolating, as they have a different power than others. Humans hate things that are different, don't they? Even though it is a marvellous power like this.' Said Raynare.
'…Then I would have protected Asia, as her friend!' Declared Issei.
Raynare couldn't keep her composure at that statement and burst out laughing, her torso doubling over in an undignified manner, as she struggled to control herself.
'Impossible. You? She's dead. She already died and you didn't manage to protect her. Look at how helpful your protection was, she is cold and dead. You couldn't stop her coming back with me and you couldn't save her now. You are such a foolish boy, it's hilarious.' Mocked Raynare.
'I know… that's why I can never forgive you, or myself.' Said Issei, shoulders starting to shake.
'Give her back.' Said Issei, clenching his fist.
'Give Asia back!' Shouted Issei in anger, before his Sacred Gear materialised.
Raynare smirked, recognising the futile gesture, before deciding to mock Issei further.
'I will explain it so even a dummy like you can understand. It is a simple power difference. I have a power of one thousand and you have a power of one. You could never close such a gap between us no matter what. Double one is only two and doesn't even come close to my power.' Laughed Raynare, before something seemed to change, as Issei's power doubled for a second time.
Issei charged Raynare and threw a fist out at her, but it was easily dodged. After dodging another strike, Raynare leapt back and materialised a pair of larger than usual spears, one in each hand, which were then thrown into Issei's legs, piercing his thighs, and causing his legs to shake, but for him to ultimately remain standing. Issei then pulled at the spears in his legs, causing Raynare to laugh.
'A devil trying to pull out a light spear is stupid. To a devil like you, light is poison, just touching it will burn you. For a low-class devil like you…' Started Raynare, before Issei pulled out the spears and tossed them aside.
Raynare's expression shifted, finding herself impressed for the first time with Issei.
'This pain is nothing compared to what Asia went through!' Roared Issei, even as he struggled to stay standing.
'Quite remarkable. A low-class devil pulling out a fallen angel's light spear. It doesn't matter in the end though, as my light is lethal to devils. Even a middle-class devil being hit by a light spear would be overwhelming. For someone like you, this is your limit. You can't look down on the damage caused by the power of light, especially mine. The light will spread through your body, slowing burning through every piece of you until nothing is left. If you don't heal it soon, you will die.' Said Raynare.
'At a time like this, I wonder, am I supposed to pray to God?' Asked Issei.
'No, God will not help me here, no one listened to me before and no one tried to help a good girl like Asia. So useless.' Said Issei.
'What are you saying? You only now realised God has ignored you? Did your mind snap at last?' Asked Raynare.
'In that case, I will plead to Satan. As a devil, Satan should listen to me. I want to be able to smash this fallen angel in front of me until there is nothing left, so please make sure no one interferes. I don't need back up. I don't need help. My legs are fine. I can walk just fine like this. With my anger this high, I really think I can beat her, just one hit.' Said Issei.
'Wait, no way, how are you moving right now? This is impossible.' Said Raynare nervously.
'Hey? Ex-girlfriend. You've put me through a lot.' Said Issei coldly.
'… There is no way you can still be standing! A low-class devil like you should be on the floor in agony, the light tearing your body apart from the inside.' Said Raynare.
'Yeah, it is. I can feel it tearing me apart, it is agony. I feel like I am going to pass out, but my hate for you right now is greater than the pain, so I can endure this.' Said Issei, before his Sacred Gear erupted in light.
'Impossible. What is this? This power… it can't be, it's not possible. Your power is only supposed to double with a Twice Critical, how can your power have surpassed mine… this is the power of a middle-class… no, a high-class devil.' Stammered Raynare, the first vestiges of true fear starting to creep in.
'No! This can't happen. I have attained the ultimate healing power! I am a superior being to you.' Said Raynare, making another pair of light spears, only for them to be destroyed by a backhand smash, courtesy of her former date.
Raynare felt her flight instinct kick into overdrive. Moments ago, she had been supremely confident, but now… now she was terrified as she materialised her wings and made to literally fly away. Raynare felt her arm grabbed and felt the strength in the grip, causing her to scream and shout in a panic, before a fist nailed her in the face, boosted by all the energy in Issei's Sacred Gear. Raynare's face exploded in pain and her sense of reality shook. Raynare felt as though her soul had tried to jump out of her body. Raynare had not experienced much in the way of battle for some time now and she had forgotten how much getting hit in the face could hurt. Sure, Raynare could heal herself and would recover without a scratch, but the mental toll of such pain was not something Raynare enjoyed. Raynare was brought back to reality by a crash of cold water, which shocked her soul back into her body and caused her to start coughing.
'How are you doing, fallen angel Raynare?' Asked a red-haired girl.
Raynare glared at the person who spoke to her, recognising who she was easily.
'The Gremory Heiress.' Said Raynare disdainfully.
'Greetings, my name is Rias Gremory. I'm the next heir of the Gremory Clan. It might only be for a short time, but nice to make your acquaintance.' Said Rias, as she introduced herself.
'You might think you have me beat, but you don't. This plan was a secret from the higher-ups, but there are other fallen angels with me. If I get in danger, they will…' Sneered Raynare, before Rias cut her off.
'They won't come to help, because they are already dead.' Said Rias.
'Lies!' Shouted Raynare, only for Rias to open her hand, releasing three black wings, which gently floated to the ground.
Raynare felt the smugness ooze out of the devil, as she explained how she had dealt with her allies. Raynare couldn't believe that they had been defeated so easily, not even managing to fill the role of meat shields to any extent, having been taken out in one shot. Raynare ignored the gaggle of devils as they praised their master, before something was said, which cut through her anger.
'This boy, Issei Hyoudou, his Sacred Gear isn't a regular Sacred Gear. That's why you lost. This is the Boosted Gear, one of the rarest of the rare.' Said Rias.
'Boosted Gear… a Longinus, something which has the power to surpass God, you mean to say that hateful power is in a boy like this?' Snarled Raynare.
Raynare fumed as the devils shared a moment, puffing up the luck her former boyfriend had in being given such a powerful weapon.
'Now then, I will have you disappear, fallen angel.' Said Rias, bringing Raynare back to things.
'I will also be sure to take back that Sacred Gear you stole.' Continued Rias.
'Y-you can't be serious? This healing power is for Lord Azazel and Lord Shemhazai.' Said Raynare.
'To live your life for love is admirable, but you are too tainted. You have no elegance, and I won't have you tainting my town with your filth.' Said Rias.
Raynare felt the devil raise her hand and prepare to attack her, only for Freed to appear.
'Wow, my superior is in trouble. What is going to happen now?' Exclaimed Freed.
'Save me! If you save me, I will give you a reward, anything you want!' Pleaded Raynare, finally realising the dire straits she was in.
'Oh, that is a wonderful order. In that case, can I have sex with you? To me, having sex with an angel would be the best honour and a real boost for me.' Said Freed.
'D-don't mess around and save me!' Exclaimed Raynare, shaking in disbelief and anger.
'Huh, you know, I was being serious… I mean, something as simple as having sex, that's a fair trade to save your life. So, is that a no? Okay then, I will take my leave now. No matter how you look at it, I'm at a disadvantage here, so I will take off now.' Said Freed, moving around erratically as he spoke.
'You're an exorcist, aren't you? You are supposed to save me, I'm a mighty fallen angel…' Pleaded Raynare, only to be cut off.
'I don't need a boss who loses to filthy devils. You are pretty, but you have no brains. The only thing you are useful for is sex, so you're worthless to me. You might as well die as much as I care. A fallen angel who has been abandoned by God won't go to heaven or hell but goes back to nothing. Maybe the experience of turning into nothing will be good for you, but since there is nothing left, it won't help at all.' Said Freed.
With Freed's response, Raynare felt her last hope crumbling, with the severity of his words striking true. If Raynare was to die here, this would be it for her. Nothing. She would cease to exist. Not even a footnote in history. A lowly, forgotten, fallen angel, who had achieved no notable feats. It simply couldn't end like that for her. She was Raynare. She was a mighty fallen angel. Perhaps that was the problem though. Even a mighty fallen angel against a group of devils left her at a great disadvantage, but perhaps there was another option.
'Ise, please save me!' Pleaded Raynare, her eyes watering.
The devil stared at her and Raynare felt the hesitance in the back of his eyes. She had a chance.
'Ise, this devil is trying to kill me! I love you! I love you so much! That's why, let's defeat this devil together.' Pleaded Raynare, and for a moment, she thought it would work.
That twinkle in Issei's eye disappeared however, and he turned his back on her.
'Don't try to flirt with my cute little servant. Be gone.' Said Rias coldly, before a red blast of energy wiped Raynare from existence.

-Unknown date-
"Darkness. Complete darkness."
"What is light? How can this be darkness?"
"Light? I see light. See… how can I see?"
'You have arrived, fallen angel.' Said a voice.
"A voice? Did someone speak to me… or is it in my head."
'Is your awareness still poor? Regain your mind, Raynare.' Said the same voice as before.
"Raynare? That is my name." Thought Raynare, regaining some sense of self.
'Good. Now, walk towards the light.' Said the voice.
All at once, a figure formed. Silky black hair, pale creamy skin, a toned physique, and violet eyes. Raynare felt her form restored. Her violet eyes finally found the light she was supposed to follow and walked towards it. Even though her feet were bare, Raynare did not feel cold. In fact, now that Raynare looked down, she noticed she was completely bare, but felt comfortable. As Raynare reached the light, her entire world was bathed in light and instead of darkness, there was light. An all-encompassing light.
'So, fallen angel Raynare, have you learned your lesson?' Asked the voice
'Lesson?' Questioned Raynare.
'You seemed to take great pride in speaking knowledgably of my intentions. Do you mean to say that you only spoke from a place of envy? Has your gluttony for acknowledgement removed all knowledge of your origins? Has your sloth left you without memory? Your greed for power pushed you to do cruel things. Your lust left you alone with no one by your side. All you were left with was wrath, wrath which you had no means to release. Do you not see you have sinned, Raynare?' Asked the voice.
'Who are you?' Asked Raynare flatly.
'Your maker.' Said the voice.
Raynare felt herself blink at this, as her mind worked to process what she had heard.
'God?' Whispered Raynare in disbelief.
'Indeed. You are one of my treasured children, Raynare, but you have fallen, in more ways than one. You have an important destiny and until you learn to fulfill it, you are doomed to an endless cycle of disappointment and regret. This is what you will need to learn. Your life is over, now only your afterlife remains, but you now have a chance to regain both. You will face a crushing challenge, but with fortitude, prudence, temperance, and justice, you may succeed. Go now, fallen angel Raynare. Hopefully we shall not meet again.' Said the voice, before the light became blinding and Raynare's world become white.
