-Six Years Later-
Issei: Gah, ow.
-He was still buried under the rubble and he used the strength he had left to get out of the rubble, the rocks finally gave way and he saw light...the city was no longer burning...and the sounds of fighting and weapons had gone and were replaced with the talking of construction workers and the sound of powered equipment and when he left the rubble and stumbled to the ground everyone was staring at him and his armor dissipated-
Construction Worker: Hey! We have a live one down here! Get him up, get him up!
-Multiple construction workers picked him up and a nurse came down inside the crater and yelled at them to put him down and when they did, he got to work, cuts were bandaged and bruises as well. He knew that he was still bleeding and he didn't know how he survived-
Issei: Ryujin!
-No answer came and he looked over and saw the blade...broken...shattered...and he looked at his hand and noticed it had small scales...he had been turned into a dragon and Ryujin had gone free while maintaining the armor on Issei so that he stayed alive-
Issei: So...he is gone...
-He was put on a transportation circle and sent to the hospital ward, he gave the nurses there his name and one of them had their eyes widen and she immediately ran to the office in between the two wards-
Issei: She is off in a hurry.
Nurse: Stay down Hyoudou, your body is still damaged.
-He stayed that night after being cleaned up and bandaged up and he fell sleep, though he had just came out of sleep he felt exhausted and he slept a full 24 hours. When he awoke Rias, Akeno and Kuroka and what looked like 3 children was in the room with him...he detected them with his senses before he had awoken-
Issei: Ugh.
-He adjusted his position and he was sitting up, his wings and tail now exposed from how relaxed he was...he looked over rubbing his eyes and saw the three women he loved in his life...and the children he had sensed were also there-
Rias: Issei!
-She came down on him like a ton of bricks while Kuroka took the opposite side and Akeno was laughing seeing how her king had reacted to Issei being alive-
Issei: Ow, hello again.
Rias: Issei, you asshole! Where were you for the last six years!
Issei: In a coma...Ryujin...my sacred gear is gone...he has gone free. I am now myself...I am now a dragon once again.
Rias: What?
Issei: I no longer have a sacred gear...but it seems I have still inherited most of the powers I had...minus the armor, large lighting bolt and more. But putting that aside...who are these little rascals.
-He said that while he smiled and was happy to have lived...to have survived the war in itself was something else-
Akeno: This is Kurenai...your son.
Rias: Your son Ex. He is quite a lot like you...
-He pats Ex and Kurenai on their heads and they back up after a second and head back to their moms-
Issei: Whos that Kuroka?
Kuroka: Your daughter...she is still a little shy, a little bit of the opposite of me but she takes after you and your level-headedness.
Nurse: They were all delivered here in this hospital. But thatvwas six years ago.
Issei: Damn...I wasn't there to see their first steps or their first words...that's saddening...but mostly my fault.
Achilles: Yes, yes it is.
-Issei looks over to the opposite side of the room and Achilles is standing in the doorway behind Xenovia-
Issei: Hey, how did it go?
Achilles: We are still cleaning up the mess but good news. That librarian is still alive and kicking, she just got trapped in one of the lower sections of the library, she was lucky to have been checking the emergency food stores under the Library.
Issei: They stored food there?
Achilles: A food bank is a food bank, doesn't matter where you put it as long as it works and stays sanitary right?
Issei: Fair I guess.
Xenovia: Well are you going to tell him?
-Issei looked over in confusion-
Achilles: Good news and bad news, which do you want first?
Issei: Bad news.
Achilles: You have been given your father's belongings and have been kicked out due to the report we recieved...they held an emergency meeting and I am the next in line so I am Grandmaster now. The good news is that I took to Xenovia and in kind after these six rough years we are going to have a son.
Issei: Gratz.
Achilles: Thanks. But since I have come connections I want you to get here when you are released from your current state.
-Achilles gives him an address-
Issei: I will.
-Achilles smiles and sits down, and Issei notices that he isn't wearing his armor for once and is wearing a black tunic with the sword he gave Achilles on his back-
Issei: I think I am going to nap for a little bit.
-After three months and multiple check ups and visits he is finally released and visited by a sea green dragon who lands in front of him-
Issei: Ryujin?
Ryujin: Who else looks like me?
Issei: Fair. To the real world then.
Ryujin: Agreed.
-A portal opens and he heads through and they are at the destination given to them by Achilles...his old home...it was fixed, his struggle had been worth it...he had a life and had brought an end to the internal war which had begun with the death of his parents and ended with the death of the one who ordered the death of his father...he was free-
