Ratchet's P.O.V.
Three months since I saved Jasmine, and realized I've always loved her all these years, but never let myself accept it since she was only a teenager. Now I have a beautiful twenty-four-year-old girlfriend. Even with her mental wounds brought on by a Decepticon attack, I love her. It's been a challenge, and I'm glad Jolt and Prime are supportive. Jasmine isn't our first human friend with mental struggles; the difference is she's my girlfriend. I want to be with her to help her, but I'm also the chief medical officer. Jasmine isn't ready to work in the medbay full time, and I know she hates it.

There's been a few rough days, and I knew today would be one when I walked out of the bathroom to see Jasmine still in bed. I know what this means, and I hate it. For her to go from being happy to depressed. I know even on her happy days; the depression is still there. I lie on the bed next to her and put my arm around her.
"Come on, and we have to go to work."
I know the look I'm getting all too well. I should have texted Jolt; we'll be late.

Jasmine's P.O.V.
It's been three months since a con tried to kill me since I became a hybrid, and since I found out my sister wanted me killed. Her last words to me before going to prison replay in my mind.
You should be happy I brought you closer to the mech you love.
I know she's not happy I survived and is trying to make me feel guilty. I feel fear; fear she'll come back, the cons will try to get me, and that Ratchet will tire of having a mentally ill girlfriend and work partner. Though I'm not working at the medbay full-time — Rung thinks I'm not ready. I know Ratchet doesn't work in the medbay as long as he would in twenty-four hours. I don't know how he can stay with a girl who's broken.
"Jasmine?" Ratchet asks, concerned. I hug him and cry, "you're safe, and recovery is going well. It won't be long before we're working together every day," Ratchet assures me before kissing me.
I spent a month in a coma. Though physically I'm healed, thanks to the Energon, Rung thinks I'm not ready mentally for duty — whether it's in the medbay or training to become a soldier.
How long before Lennox and Prime reconsider letting me join N.E.S.T.? I should say unofficially join; easier to kick me out.
"Just go before you're late," I sob.
"Na-uh, you're my girlfriend. I'm not leaving you like this."
Ratchet is texting. I assume Jolt we'll be late or that I'm not coming to work today.

Ratchet's P.O.V.
I may not have studied psychology, but I know Jasmine does not like how she can't do anything yet. Even though she comes to work with me, Rung has me giving her desk tasks.
Ratchet: I may not know much about psychology, but I believe it's not helping Jasmine's recovery not working with me full time or training to become a soldier.
Rung: she isn't showing any signs of P.T.S.D.
Prime: I agree. I will talk to Lennox and the others.
I text Jolt I'm taking today off — unless I'm needed — and the possible changes in Jasmine's treatment. Even Jolt agrees letting Jasmine work with us and begin her training is a good idea.
"Come on, you're not staying in bed All day."

It's been a good thing Jasmine is ok with me watching her get dressed. Fragging for the first time is the least of my goals right now, but I love looking at her sexy body. I'm also able to make sure she's safe when she's having days like this.

I decide to take Jasmine to a local Dunkin' Donuts for breakfast to get her out of the base. It's a nice sunny summer day.
"I wonder if the ducks are back at the park?" Jasmine asks.
"We can see after breakfast."
I'm glad depression isn't bad enough to cause Jasmine not to want to eat, but getting her to talk about what's on her mind is a struggle. I know part of it is fear. The fear I will tire of how she is, fear she'll be deemed unfit to serve, and fear her sister will be back. We know from experience it's hard to get someone like Jasmine to change their mindset.

We walk around the park and find the ducks have returned. It's nice sitting on the bench watching the ducks swim around the pond — through a couple approach us, hoping we have food. Everything is fine for ten minutes before I can smell hormonal changes. I hate to do this often, but I must, since Jasmine will not talk to me about her thoughts. I smell fear, damn it. It's easy to know why; she thinks the cons are after her. This is the first time I'm smelling fear, though, and we've gone on countless walks through the park the past three months, almost daily.
"Come on, let's go home," I suggest.
Jasmine agrees; I see the fear on her face.

Rung's P.O.V.
It's concerning to see Jasmine afraid after going out like she and Ratchet do almost every day. Optimus is with me and agrees to take Jasmine back to her room. He can get her to calm down.
"What happened?" I ask Ratchet.
"I don't know, but she's terrified today."
"Shit, did someone hand her mail the other day?" Lennox asks.
"No, why?" Ratchet asks.
"This is the second letter to her, and guess who it's from!" Lennox explains as Ratchet reads the letter.
"If you think you're safe with the love of your life and the other Autobots, you're wrong. I will get out of prison and find you, but I will torture you to the point you live in fear. Yazmine."
"Who knows if the Decepticons would free her, and would they kill her, or is she a member of the Decepticons?" Lennox asks.
"Wouldn't be the first time they've worked with a human, but it would be the first time they recruit a human," Ratchet points out. He's uncertain if Jasmine is in danger.
"Well, now it would definitely be a good time for Jasmine to train with Sideswipe and Ironhide. We can keep this a secret from her," Lennox points out, "I'll alert the prison of a potential prison break in and out. If Yazmine is like our other human enemy, she'll wait awhile, hoping we'd think this is nothing but a scare tactic. I'll inform Prime we need to talk about this during the meeting about Jasmine."
Lennox and Rung go their separate ways. I am troubled by the fact Lennox considers Jadin N.E.S.T.'s human enemy rather than just Jamie's — even if it means he'll protect her.
Now we have two human enemies, unbelievable.
