Ratchet struggles with the realization most of his fears about Jasmine are coming true, uncertain of what to do. He knows it will displease Jasmine if he tells her that she can't go to the training camp. He can't tell her the reason, nor can he be with her the entire time. Ratchet remembers Ironhide said he'd be Jasmine's bodyguard, but he'll be busy teaching. Same with Sideswipe, with whom Jasmin feels relaxed and safe with.
Jolt: I think you should have the day off today.
Ratchet: you don't think she's going to get suspicious? We're not scheduled for a day off today.
Jolt: easy fix: it's been slow in the medbay. Only minor injuries. I can handle it.
Ratchet: and when you need help? I don't want to leave her alone.
Jolt: fine, I'll talk to Prime.
Ratchet would rather not get Prime involved, but there would be a problem if Ratchet is needed in the medbay. Jolt and Prime suggest having Sideswipe stay with Jasmine, since she feels safe with him.
Jolt and Prime look at Jasmine before leaving the room, hating how much Jasmine is struggling. Ratchet sits on the bed, watching Jasmine sleep, hoping he can keep her safe.
Jasmine is not sure what to think about Ratchet deciding they should have a day off. She agrees with Ratchet; it's been slow there, and she'd love more time with him out of the medbay. Something didn't feel right about this day off.
As the guards at the gate preparing for shift change, a black SUV pulls up, and two figures come out.
"No civilians may enter," one guard says, "do you have an I.D.?"
"Yeah, right here," one of them says as they pull out a gun. The other human follows, but has a knife. The soldiers have no time to sound the alarm.
Red Alert sees the two severely injured guards on the security monitor and alerts most of the Autobots rather than sounding the alarm. Worried whoever got in will cause serious harm to many more soldiers.
What will we do when Jasmine finds out what happened and how many people got injured? Red Alert wonders.
Jolt can't believe the condition the two soldiers are in.
Jolt: Ratchet, there's an emergency!
Sideswipe stands in the hallway as Ratchet opens the door. He knows what is going on but knows not to tell Jasmine. He brought his PlayStation and collection of games, hoping to keep her distracted, but he's having a hard time not thinking about the attack on the guards.
"What the frag happened?" Ratchet asks.
"The security footage is horrifying, but this is a concern," Jolt explains as he hands Ratchet a note.
If these idiots die, then it's all on you. You're a horrible doctor, and more will die unless you kill yourself first — or stick around and see what else I have in store for you.
No signature this time, but only Yazmine wants Jasmine dead. Ratchet concludes.
He has to put his concern aside to save the two guards.
"You know they don't show her the notes?" A male asks.
"I figured that, but I want Ratchet terrified of what I have in store for his girl," the female on the other end explains, "he's probably guessing what will happen once we get her."
The female eagerly awaits the moment they can put phase two of her plan into action.
Five hours pass; Sideswipe isn't sure if he's allowed to take Jasmine to the cafeteria or not. He's given permission to, but also instructed to keep her away from the medbay.
No problem, right? Until Jasmine is talking to soldiers. Only Autobots are aware of the situation.
"Apparently, Ratchet has an enemy. They attacked the guards and left a note saying if a guard dies, then he's a bad doctor, and he might as well kill himself," a male soldier tells her.
"You know he's the best; they'll be ok," Sideswipe tells him and gets Jasmine to another room.
Sideswipe hates Jasmine knows who sent the note and how it was meant for her. She struggles to breathe by the time Sideswipe takes her into a room and has her sit on the floor. Add she feels dizzy, and she is going to pass out or throw up.
"Jasmine?" Sideswipe tries to get her attention.
He didn't think Sunstreaker would be the one walking into the room, but he's too late. The twins watch her go into a seizure.
"Lay her on the floor," Sunstreaker instructs.
Damn it, both Jolt and Ratchet are busy, but this is now a medical emergency. Sunstreaker frets. Anger and fear fill him as it does for Sideswipe. Lennox rushes in as the seizure ends. The three mechs see fear overtake Jasmine.
"You're ok," Lennox assures her, aware Jasmine no longer believes this. What he doesn't realize is Jasmine seeing him is worrying her even more.
He's going to tell me I have to be discharged. Jasmine frets.
"Go with the twins," Lennox insists, "take her to your room."
Jasmine wants Ratchet, but she knows he's busy. Sunstreaker tells Sideswipe to get food while he takes Jasmin to their room.
It surprises Lennox that Sunstreaker is this concerned about Jasmine.
Sunstreaker discovers his hug relaxes Jasmine. He finds this unusual and wishing he had Sideswipe stay behind if he knew this would happen. While he's not a fan of this, he wants Jasmine — who finds it strange Sunstreaker is ok with this — relaxed.
What worries both twins is Jasmine refusing to eat. They hope this is just an effect of what happened, but worry she's in a deeper depression. Both are ready to get Ratchet but knows he's stressed enough trying to help the guards.
