Jasmine's P.O.V.
"Her name is Audrey Marie Graham," I announce. My sister smiles as everyone cheers again, "we lost our parents, and I don't think we'll see Yazmine without her trying to kill us, but our new family will protect us."
Ratchet pulls me into a hug, "we'll make sure she has a good life."
We have to disappoint the others and tell them they can't hold Audrey yet. We were advised to be careful since cold and flu season is approaching. I think I'll be busy with my recovery to be bothered by not being able to take her for walks. Plus, she might have a harder time keeping herself warm. I don't think she's big enough for a baby snowsuit.
Audrey can fall asleep while in her stroller, letting Ratchet and I enjoy the party.

Ratchet gets food for both of us as the others stop by and look at the cute sleeping baby
I didn't think Sunstreaker would come by or take a picture, but he quickly walks away.
"Too late, the secret's out; you like her," I tease, but he doesn't hear me.
"At least one mech won't be in a hurry to want to hold her."
"Maybe."
We stay a little longer before going to our room, discovering everything has been set up.

"Luckily, the beds fold up; we have plenty of space for her," Ratchet comments, "even when she's older and has more toys."
For now, Audrey has a play mat and rocker along with the rocking chair from downstairs. She will now sleep in a crib though Ratchet and I discover aunt Ryley got a bassinet that can go by the bed. We find a parenting book on the bed with a note;
There are no exact rules regarding parenting, but this book should help. I also found tips and advice for premise.
-Ryley

We enjoy a little time watching T.V. before Audrey wakes up for a bottle. It's hard to believe I'm taking care of my sister and everything that has happened. is Audrey safe or on Yazmine's list? No doubt she'll try to get me again.
"I thought this was about the first year, but it goes right until eighteen," Ratchet comments, flipping through the pages.
Ryley: I meant to ask if you wanted to continue with feeding Audrey donated breast milk? You're almost out.
Jasmine: they advised us it's good for her. Yeah, pick up more.
It's a quiet two hours before Audrey is up and crying. It'll be a routine; feeding her and changing her diaper. Then I'll either get her to lie on her stomach, and I'll either hold her while watching T.V. or lay on the floor with her.

Optimus comes by to see the baby as I hold her. I knew he came to hold her and to congratulate us. He says his plan still sticks, and by Thanksgiving, Ratchet and I will hopefully be through filling out the adoption papers. He lets Ratchet decide if he's working or not and will see what he can do if Ratchet wants another bot with me during the day.

Ratchet's P.O.V.
It's hard to think things are going well. Even if Jasmine's sister is ours, it's only for a month. Maybe Jasmine will relax, but no doubt other problems will arise, which will bring back her fear that Audry will be taken from us. There's no way she'll be fully recovered in a month - or sadly, I think it's more she'll be stable - and I can't believe the judge doesn't know that. Without a test, how well is Jasmine's support to show Audrey will be safe as her older sister recovers?

Jasmine is asleep early, but I don't feel happy about it. How long before she has nightmares? But she's exhausted.
I lay in bed watching her sleep, thinking, how can I help her? The next thing I know, Audrey is crying. At least she's eating as she should be and looks right at me as she drinks. Though I don't know if she's seeing me as a six-week-old should or not.
I hope spitting up isn't going to last long. Once Audrey is asleep, I get changed and go down to the laundry room.

Jasmine's P.O.V.
I wake up, trembling as I look around the room.
"Ratchet?"
I get out of bed, not finding him watching T.V.
Or was I kidnapped again?
If I scream, she'll run in and shut e up. I sit on the floor, trying to calm down.

Ratchet's P.O.V.
I walk into the room, seeing Jasmine on the floor having a seizure.
Ah, scrap, I should have known her mental state is this bad.
Jasmine fights me when the seizure ends.
"Get away from me!" She cries, yet she's not yelling.
Scrap, does she think Yazmine kidnapped her and Audrey, and she's trying not to scare Audrey?
I have time to send a group text to Jolt, Rung, and Ryley. Though I think my text is a mess, they'll figure it out.

I dread having Ryley watch this, but someone needs to get Audrey out of here if Jasmine screams.
"You're safe at home," I try to assure Jasmine, but these words terrify her, and she panics, struggling to get air in.
The other three run in, Jolt sitting by me with the syringe while Ryley and Rung watch.
"Jasmine, you're safe; you're with family, your boyfriend, and we have your baby sister," I tell her as I hold her close, feeling her tremble.
Ryley takes Audrey and leaves the room.
Jolt waits for me to tell him to give Jasmine the drug. I know Rung is waiting for Jasmine to focus on what he's saying.
"Shh, it's ok, you're safe."

"Ryley, come back in," Rung insists.
Rung knows what he's doing, but I still worry about giving Jasmine the baby while she's still panicking. He tells me to support Audrey, but the baby is close to Jasmine. It's a tricky miniver, but I see what he's trying to do. Audrey is already awake and is trying to get her sister's attention with her tiny arms.
"She's safe," I tell Jasmine and hug her close.
Jasmine takes a few minutes to realize she's holding her sister.
"There you go," Rung comments, "you're safe."
We wait ten minutes before putting Audrey back to bed. Jolt leaves the syringe in the mini-fridge, and the three leave.
"She will not get you or Audrey," I assure Jasmine as I watch her fall asleep.
This is not good if I can't leave her alone — even if it's when she's asleep, and she'll be ok being left with Audrey for a while.
