Jasmine's P.O.V.
Ratchet had to go back to the medbay today. Ryley took Audrey for the morning as my appointment with Rung is in an hour. As I walk down the hall, a female soldier gets my attention. She tells me her name is Martha Hen, and she wants to hang out together. I don't trust many humans now and wish this was a friend Rung introduced me to. Oh, wait, what if she would have been faking being his friend?
Martha was heading down to the cafeteria. I haven't eaten breakfast myself, but I'm not hungry; I feel it would be rude not to get breakfast with with others around, I can't relax. My mind goes back to my time as Yazmin's prisoner and the nightmare I had. As the minutes go by, I feel dizzy.
Sunstreaker's P.O.V.
I'm about to return my plate to the kitchen when I see Jasmine at another table. Something looks off about her, and it's not her usual feeling depressed.
As I leave the kitchen, I realize the look on Jasmine's face as she stands up. I rush to her, but I'm too late. Watching her fall to the floor. I heard people gasp around me, but the human femme across from where Jasmine sat smiled before getting up and walking away. I hate how I can't go after her. I'm the only one that watched Jasmine go down.
Sideswipe, grab Jasmine's stuff. Ratchet will want to analyze for anything that might have caused her to pass out. I instruct Sideswipe and carry Jasmine out of the cafeteria.
"What the frag?!" Ratchet asks, alarmed, but he tells me to leave the second I lay Jasmine on the bed.
"What happened?" Jolt asks.
"I don't know; I didn't know she was in the cafeteria until I was about to return my plate to the kitchen. As I left the kitchen, I noticed the same signs as the last time I watched her pass out, but I couldn't get to her in time to catch her."
"Maybe we'll be able to find clues?" Sideswipe asks, showing he has Jasmine's stuff that she was going to return to the kitchen.
Jolt takes the plate and cup into the lab. Though we know the items are tampered with Sideswipe's fingerprints, we're hoping he'll find something.
"The human sitting across from her seemed pleased seeing Jasmine passed out," I tell Sideswipe, "I'm going to find her."
"We need to report this to Prime."
"What's he going to do?! Unless Jolt finds something, there's no way to prove that human did anything worth punishing. Her smile though, that's suspicious, and do is yours."
"You care about Jasmine," Sideswipe replies, still smiling.
"I'm going to find that glitch!"
"Hold on, wait until Optimus talks to her."
"Are you actually agreeing that the femme must die?"
"We need answers if she's the reason Jasmine passed out. I know you won't let that femme rot in jail if she's arrested."
Ratchet's P.O.V.
"Audrey!" Jasmine yells and sits up.
That was not what I was expecting. Knowing Sunstreaker rushed here, Jasmine was unconscious for five minutes. Not enough to dream, but this suggests she was dreaming.
I have to be careful, as Jasmine thinks she was captured again.
Ratchet: I have a situation in the medbay and will need Audrey.
I don't wait for a response before working on calming Jasmine down.
"You're ok. It's me, Ratchet," I tell Jasmine and take her hand. I hate the fear in her eyes, "you're in the medbay."
Hurry, Ryley.
I don't think the fact that she's in the medbay is helping Jasmine. Mirage found there was a medbay in the hideout Yazmine used. Even though she stayed in the medbay when she was sick and on medication.
Ryley rushes in with the stroller. Audrey is awake and happy. I raise the bed enough that Jasmine is sitting up and put Audrey in her arms, but I still have to support Audrey.
It takes Jasmine a minute to calm down. On cue, Audrey smiles.
"That better not be the face of plotting a blowout," I warn.
"No, Audrey is a week shy of being two months old, which babies start to smile," Ryley explains.
I know she's not old enough to laugh, even if she wasn't born early.
Rung rushes in, happy to see Jasmine is calm.
"I think we need to add medicine again," Rung tells me, "but I'm not sure for how long."
"I agree. Hopefully, this will help Jasmine's recovery."
Jasmine agrees, but I know she's worried everything will fall apart rather than be put on hold.
There's not enough evidence to talk to the femme who was with Jasmine, but I worry Jasmine could still be in danger.
As I fill out the paperwork for Jasmine's file, Jolt walks in with the analysis report he did.
"I found nothing, which isn't assuring with the fact that Sunstreaker saw the femme with Jasmine was smiling when Jasmine passed out," Jolt comments, "there's nothing to investigate."
"That glitch is ruining Jasmine's life. Jasmine is — hopefully — temporarily suspended from her residency and schooling. Now, I might have to take her somewhere else, but would we put anyone else in danger?"
"And having Audrey stay with her aunt and uncle would cause the judge to rule you, and Jasmine can't adopt her."
"That glitch isn't done yet. What are the chances Yazmine would have another insider?"
"So Sunstreaker could be right?!"
Even if he isn't, I hope Jasmine's mental state doesn't decline further.
