Coco: Hey, everyone, here's the other chapter I mentioned in the last part. I was going to hold off on posting it. Give me a little more time to work on the next chapter and like space them out, but I have no control whatsoever and I'm excited to post, so...yeah XD Anyway, this chapter will bring Season 2 of Boku no Hero Academia to a close. It's taken me a while to get here, but I've made it! I hope you're still enjoying the journey so far and ready to read more as we continue Ayano's story together!

Thank you for all your support!

"You've sure brought us an interesting bunch, Giran-san," Rina said. "I'm interested in learning more about them."

It didn't seem as if Tomura agreed, however, as he scoffed rather loudly at Rina's words.

"Forget it. Kurogiri, get rid of these three." Tomura said pointing. "I can already tell they're exactly the kind of trash I hate. A brat, a guy with no manners, and a snob."

Rina shook her head at her companion. There he goes again. He never just stops and thinks things through. Always ready to make quick decisions based on his mood and whims.

'Why does he get to be in charge?' Rina mentally pouted. 'I'm definitely the more mature one here.'

Though she knew Master wouldn't change his mind. Besides, he chose Tomura to be his successor before he had even taken her in.

"Now, now, Shigaraki Tomura," Kurogiri cautioned. "They came all this way. The least we can do is hear them out."

"Yeah, Tomura, try to be more hospitable." Rina added as she poked his back repeatedly. "They could be useful."

Tomura growled lowly at her while swatting her hand away in aggravation as he turned slightly in his chair.

"Yes, listen to Sebone Rina," Kurogiri agreed. "Give them a chance. Besides, this broker is respected in the underworld. They're to be valuable assets."

"Like them or not, you still owe me a finder's fee." Giran reminded the trio. "In cash."

"Of course," Rina said as she waved her hand flippantly. "You don't have to worry about the payment. Now, do these three…lovely people have names?"

She asked this with a sweetly fake smile as she gestured to the three Giran brought with him.

"Right, right, the least I can do is introduce these three before I go," Giran said as he stepped into the room. "This one looks like an adorable high school girl, right?"

He gestured to the short blonde beside him as Rina's brow quirked. Adorable isn't the word she'd use, but she made no comment.

"She's actually the suspect in a series of deaths where the victims all bled out." Giran said. "So far her name and face have been kept out of the media."

"Of course, she's a serial killer," Rina commented. "It explains so much."

The girl didn't seem offended by Rina's words as her twisted grin only grew wider across her face.

"Toga here!" She introduced. "Toga Himiko! Life is too hard. I just want to make it easier to live in this dumb world. I wanna be Stainy-san! I wanna kill Stainy-san! Come on, Handy man, please let me join your League of Villains!"

Tomura frowned behind the hand on his face before exchanging a look with Rina. His white-haired companion merely shrugged her shoulders with that smirk of hers still on her face. She was obviously getting a kick out of all this craziness while he wasn't.

"You've got to be kidding me," Tomura said as he turned to Giran. "Is she crazy?"

"Well, she can hold a conversation…for the most part at least. Come on, she can be useful," Giran defended then turned to the light-haired person. "Now as for this one, they're a real asset. I know by their frame they don't seem like it, but they've gone toe to toe with some heavy hitters in the underworld and won every battle unscathed. I think you'll find their quirk very useful if you…let's say want to go toe to toe with…All Might?"

Tomura's brow quirked at that as he looked to the snob who had dissed their headquarters. They didn't look like much. Their frame was a bit thin, willowy almost and they didn't even look like a brawler. Their clothes, though loose fitting, and appearance were too neat. Nothing out of place.

"I suppose I should say it's nice to meet you even if it is a lie," They said with their painted pink lips turning down into a frown. "My name is Gayle Edwards, or I suppose here in Japan the correct way to say it would be Edwards Gayle. But you may call me Royale. In fact, don't call me anything else or I might have to gash out your pretty little eyes, loves."

They said this so casually with their lips turning up into a sinister smirk and their eyes narrowing dangerously. Well, this one might not be crazy, but they obviously wouldn't be easy to work with either. They were also a foreigner it seemed. Though their Japanese was rather good.

"Royale is a bit bristly, I admit," Giran said when seeing the glare he was getting from Tomura. "But they're definitely someone you want on your side. Now, this guy—he hasn't committed any flashy crimes but he's taken Stain's ideology to heart."

The dark-haired man he was talking about scoffed as he tilted his head at the group before him.

"I don't like this," He said bluntly. "Is your group really dedicated to the Hero Killer's mission? I can't imagine you are if you're going to let the little psycho and the pampered princess join you."

While Toga merely giggled at his words, Royale flipped their bangs out of their face while looking annoyed.

"Oh, grow up," Tomura said. "One may be a psycho and the other pampered, but at least they know how to introduce themselves to people. Don't just stare. What's your name?"

"Right now, I'm going by Dabi." The man replied.

That wasn't the reply Tomura wanted as Rina felt his annoyance rise even more. She was certain that at any moment he'd pop. She just hoped she wouldn't have to help clean up any ashes afterwards.

"No, I want to know your real name." Tomura insisted.

"I'll tell you when you need to know it," Dabi retorted. "In any case, my new purpose is to carry out the Hero Killer's will."

Once more Tomura's annoyance spiked, but Rina wouldn't really call it annoyance anymore. No, Tomura left that and has gone into anger. Meaning things were about to get ugly.

'Kurogiri, get ready to interfere,' Rina spoke in the man's head. 'Tomura is about to have one of his tantrums.'

Kurogiri, who had already suspected as much, nodded his head. He's taken care of both Tomura and Rina long enough to know when one of them was about to blow a fuse.

"That isn't what I asked you, patchwork." Tomura said then started to stand. "Geez, why is everyone so hung up on Stain? He's all I ever hear about."

"No, don't do it," Kurogiri pleaded.

Of course, he was ignored by Tomura whose urge to kill spiked alarmingly quick.

"It's starting to piss me off!" Tomura growled then threw his hands forward. "You three are done!"

Those he attacked reacted just as quickly while going to attack themselves, but all were stopped when Kurogiri opened several warp gates to redirect their attacks. And before it could go further, Rina's eyes glowed a soft, pale blue.

"Calm," She said in an authoritative voice.

The three, who had come to them to join the League all, stiffened as they suddenly felt a wave of peace wash over them. They then sunk to their knees onto the ground as Kurogiri, who was speaking in a hushed voice to Tomura, deactivated his warps.

"What…what the hell is this?" Dabi asked as he still felt a bit dazed.

Giran, who understood what was going on, chuckled as he looked to Rina who was sitting at the bar with an annoyed look on her face. She had her arms crossed over her chest as she was glaring at Tomura.

"Tomura, go cool off," Rina ordered. "I will handle this until you've cleared the stupid out of your head."

Tomura snarled in annoyance, but then stormed out while ignoring Giran who called out to him. After the door was slammed behind him, Rina sighed. She turned towards their guests.

"I apologize for Tomura's behavior." Rina said. "I know it seems as if he doesn't want to take in recruits, but he'll change his mind once his thoughts settle."

"Yes, our leader knows what he has to do," Kurogiri agreed. "That's why he left the way he did. He understands his circumstances. All Might and then the Hero Killer. He's been humbled twice very recently. I'm sure he will bring you an answer. One that will satisfy all of you as well as his own desires."

Rina wasn't so sure Tomura would appreciate Kurogiri telling them all about his recent failures, but she kept her mouth closed on the subject. There were important things to discuss.

"I know with 100% certainty that we will be taking them, Giran-san," Rina said. "But we will need more. Tell me, who else do you have in mind for our humble organization?"

As she and Giran discussed business, Dabi frowned at Rina from where he was knelt on the ground. He could feel himself start to become more aware by the second, but that didn't make him feel any better. With one word this girl dropped three people to their knees. Just what was her quirk? He's never felt anything like it. Made him wonder if there were anymore monsters like her running around.

Ayano sneezed into her elbow as she sat at her desk. It was the day after exams and everyone was waiting for class to start, so to hear their results. Though some were already assuming the worst. And by some, she meant her poor classmates who bombed the practical part of the exam.

"E-eve-everyone, I'm—I'm lo—looking forward to hearing—all your stories about how fun camp was," Mina said sniffling as she and the other three who failed were standing in a circle moping.

Ayano sweat-dropped feeling bad for the two teams who hadn't managed to pass the practical. They were really upset about what happened and poor Mina hasn't stopped crying since she came to class this morning.

"Maybe they'll end up letting you go," Izuku tried lift their spirits. "Maybe a last-minute twist or something."

"Stop, Midoriya," Hanta said as he placed a hand on Izuku's shoulder. "By saying that out loud you're just jinxing them."

Izuku was going to apologize for what he said, but he never got the chance as Hachiro snatched him up in his arms.

"Thanks so much for trying to cheer us up, Midoriya!" Hachiro, who had large tears running down his face like Mina, said. "You're a great friend, man!"

Izuku just squeaked as he couldn't breath due to Hachiro's hold being like a vice grip. He knew the boy had extra strength, but had no idea how much until now. He felt the oxygen slowly leave his body as his poor bones groaned in protest as well.

"Ease up, Nida!" Hanta said. "You're crushing him!"

Hachiro quickly dropped Izuku once realizing Hanta was right and the greenette fell to the floor with a thud. Ayano blinked wondering if she needed to go over and check on her friend.

"I'm not sure I'll get to go either." Hanta confessed. "Our team only passed because of Mineta. I got knocked out. Since we don't know how they're scoring stuff, I might have flunked."

"Ahhhh, does that mean I could have failed too?!" Denki shouted. "I mean, Ko-toshi did most of the work for our team too!"

Konan, who was at her seat, blinked at the nickname as Denki panicked from where he sat.

"Yeah, she had to save you after you fried your brain going against Gaea-san," Kyoka agreed with Denki. "They put her against you because your electrification doesn't work well against plants. I mean, it's like trying to send electricity through a non-conductor, dummy."

Denki frowned at Kyoka though knew she was right. He hadn't been thinking right and Konan's quirk had been hindered due to them being in a damp greenhouse. When her body gets wet her quirk doesn't work as well, so to try and end things quickly, Denki used a powerful burst of electricity at Gaea that obviously didn't end well. If it wasn't for Konan, they probably would have failed and her quirk wasn't even at its best at the time.

"Argh, this sucks big time!" Denki whined as the door to their room slid open with a loud clack.

"Once the bell rings, you're to be in your seats," Aizawa, who was the one to open the door, informed them.

Of course, everyone was quick to hurry to their desks before the man even finished his words. None of them made a peep either as he walked over to his podium.

"Morning," Aizawa greeted his class. "Unfortunately, there are a few of you who did not pass your final exams."

Said four who knew they didn't for certain looked down in despair as they knew what their teacher was going to tell them next. It was time for them to get ready for summer school hell.

"So, when it comes to the training camp in the woods…everyone is going!" Aizawa announced with that stiff grin of his on his face.

As the four exclaimed their surprise, Ayano shook her head. They should have known there would be a twist. Izuku even called it.

"We really get to go to camp?!" Eijiro asked excitedly.

"Seriously?!" Mina added with now tears of joy in her eyes.

Hachiro let out a small cheer from his seat while so glad he wasn't going to be left behind by the others. This also meant if he's at camp, he doesn't have to return home where his mom, dad, and brothers will all give him a hard time for failing. Not to mention, it means not having to go through his father's hellish training exercises that he always puts the brothers through when they either piss him off, act up, or fail in some way.

"Yeah," Aizawa said with a nod. "The good news is that no one bombed the written exam. Six failed the practically; badly. Two teams, of course, and Sero and Kaminari failed as well."

Hanta and Denki both gasped in horror though the prior wasn't surprised at all by this. He knew before he even came to class today that it was a possibility.

"Allow me to explain," Aizawa said. "For the practical battles, the teachers made sure to leave a way for the students to win. Otherwise you never would have stood a chance. We were interested in observing how each of you worked together and approached the task at hand."

Ayumi pouted. When he put things like that, their victories against the teachers didn't seem as amazing.

"But didn't you promise that the teachers wouldn't be holding back?" Mashirao asked.

"That was just to get you on edge." Aizawa replied. "Besides, the training camp will focus on building your strength. Those who failed will need those lessons the most. We were never going to separate you. That was just a logical deception we used."

Despite this not being the first time the man has done this, many gasped in shock at his confession.

'Aizawa-sensei…is quite the character,' Ayano thought silently as she held in a snort of amusement.

It didn't seem as if anyone else held the same amusement as her. In fact, Tenya looked downright betrayed.

"He tricked us all," Tenya murmured as those who failed were cheering in the background once learning they were still going to training camp. "I should have expected this."

He then leapt up from his seat, which had everyone turning to him as their class rep held up his hand.

"Aizawa-sensei, this is the second time you've lied to us!" Tenya said fervently. "Aren't you afraid we'll lose faith in you?!"

"Ah, a little blunt there, Tenya," Ochaco said.

"Yeah, Class Rep, let's try to calm down a bit, alright?" Ayumi added.

Tenya didn't look like he was going to calm down any time soon as he looked to their teacher for some kind of reply. As usual, Aizawa seemed unruffled as he looked to his upset student.

"That's a good point," He said. "I'll consider it, but I wasn't lying to you about everything. Failure is failure. We've prepared extra lessons for the six of you. Frankly, they'll be far tougher than what you'd face in summer school."

He spoke to the six, who had been celebrating mere seconds ago, thus dampening their moods fairly quickly. In fact, they were almost back to looking as they had been before class even began. The poor things.

Once the day was over and everyone was free to return home, Ayano had left school rather quickly that evening. Though she had made sure to see Mirio before she went to tell him to have a good summer and she hoped to get back to training soon. Apparently, he was going to spend his summer training with Sir. Something Ayano was a bit jealous of, but she had the training camp to prepare for, which is why she had left early. That and she wanted to get in some time with Ko before visiting hours were over at the hospital. She was going to go today, but then everyone wanted to go shopping together for supplies for camp. Ayano was going to decline but when Eijiro practically begged her to come, she couldn't say no.

Hence why she's standing with a group of her classmates right now in the center of the very mall she and the girls had had a girls' day at a month or so ago. Not everyone could make it, so there was only a little over half of them there. Shoto had went to visit his mom. Mashirao and Konan had training at the dojo they grew up in together and apparently their master would not let them skip it. Tsuyu had to babysit her younger siblings, and Koji had been too shy to join them on their outing. Hanta, Yuga, and Rikido also had previous engagements meaning they couldn't join their classmates either. And Katsuki, well, he had said he hadn't wished to go, but…

"So, what changed your mind, Kacchan?" Ayano asked the blonde standing beside her. "I thought you said you could think of a million more things you'd rather do than join us."

"Shut up," Katsuki grumbled. "I can change my damn mind if I want, Aya!"

Ayano snorted at his tone as Eijiro was grinning off to the side with Denki who gave him a thumbs up. Looks like they're plan was working. As soon as Eijiro had asked Ayano to accompany them to the mall, Katsuki had changed his mind real fast. Like whiplash fast.

"Whoa, isn't that 1-A students?!" Some guy shouted from across the room getting the group's attention.

"1-A!" His friend cheered.

"I saw them on TV!" Their companion added.

They cheered at the sight of the teens, which had Ayano sweat-dropping. The Sports Festival felt so long ago. She can't believe anyone still recognizes them from that. Though she and the others soon brushed off the stares from those around them as they spoke amongst themselves about what they wanted to buy while here.

"Looks like we all have different things that we need to buy for camp," Ayumi said as she placed her hands on her hips. "It's like the time us girls came to the mall all over again."

"Well, then why don't we split up and look around?" Eijiro suggested. "We can meet here when we're done."

"Great idea!" Mina seconded.

It didn't take long for the teens to decide to meet back at 3pm for a late lunch. They started to break up into groups with Eijiro and Denki pulling Ayano along with their group that consisted of them, Toru, Tenya, and Ayumi.

"What's with you two being so eager for me to come along?" Ayano asked though let them pull her with them. "Are you two up to something?"

Both of them stiffened at her question, and they weren't the only ones. Ayumi and Toru seemed to tense up as well as all four of them slowly turned to look at Ayano who sported a look of suspicion.

'She's on to us!' The four thought in unison.

Though they quickly went to play cool, so to try and save their cover if possible.

"What?! No!" Denki quickly denied. "We just never get to hang out with you outside of school, Aya!"

Ayano tilted her head at the sound of her nickname coming out of someone else's mouth other than Katsuki's and Denki's reasoning to behind pulling her with them. Behind her, Katsuki, who had been following sullenly behind them, felt hot anger shoot through him. He marched forward grabbing Ayano out of Denki and Eijiro's grips and bringing her back to him. Ayano blinked at the action as she tried to understand what was going on.

"Well, she's coming with me, ya morons!" Katsuki snapped. "Knowing this idiot, she doesn't have anything she needs for camp. We don't have time to waste being slowed down by the rest of you! Come on, Aya!"

He then marched off while practically carrying Ayano with him. She looked back at her classmates wondering what was going on. While Denki, Eijiro, Ayumi, and even Toru seemed pleased, Tenya, who was looking between the two groups, seemed just as confused.

"Katsuki, is something wrong?" Ayano asked once her friend finally came to a stop and let her go.

"No, nothing's wrong!" He snapped. "I was just getting tired of those idiots being stupid."

He knew for a fact what they were doing since Eijiro had confessed to Katsuki about trying to make him jealous over other guys showing attention to Ayano. He knew they were looking to get him angry, but even though he knew that, it didn't help him control the rage that burned up as soon as Denki got the nerve to use his nickname for Ayano as if it was okay. He didn't even know why it bothered him so much, but it did. This all had to do with those stupid feelings he's been getting lately when concerning the annoying ginger beside him.

Ayano continued to watch Katsuki as the blonde was glaring forward. She didn't even need to peek inside his head to know his mind was racing a mile per second. And as she continued to stare a crazy idea popped into her head.

'He couldn't be…jealous, could he?' She thought as she stared at him.

She then shook her head as soon as the thought passed through her mind. That was crazy talk. There was no way Katsuki would be jealous. She can't believe she even thought that. It wasn't like Katsuki liked her like she liked—Ayano's eyes widened as she realized where her thoughts were leading her.

'No…that can't be right…' She thought with a mental shake. 'Just what was I thinking? I don't—I mean, it's Katsuki I'm thinking about…I could never…'

Her thoughts became a bit of a jumbled mess as she peeked up through her lashes at the reason behind the mess inside her head. Katsuki wasn't looking at her as he was staring forward lost in his own head as well.

"Let's just go," He finally said as he turned his back to her. "I have more than just crap to grab for camp. I have to get shit for the I-Expo too."

Ayano, who managed to put those pestering thoughts to the side, looked at Katsuki curiously.

"I-Expo?" She repeated. "You mean the expo held on I-Island every year?"

Katsuki, who had started walking with her following, looked over his shoulder at the girl.

"Yeah, I got an invite to it from winning the stupid Sports Festival," Katsuki said. "I was going to skip it, but the old hag told me I better go. I didn't want to listen to her damn nagging anymore, so I have to get some things for the stupid trip."

Ayano wished she was that lucky. She wasn't big on hero tech or anything like that, but still, I-Island was the place where many leading scientists and engineers lived and cultivated many of the great hero support items of today. The island was a safe haven for them to live peacefully as the island was constantly moving. Only those given invitations or people in the hero field or support career were usually allowed on the island. Sure, you could buy tickets to go there for a vacation or something, but those tickets were super expensive and nearly impossible to get.

"That moron Kirishima is coming along too," Katsuki continued. "Because I'm allowed to bring two guests."

Ayano smiled when hearing Katsuki was going to take Eijiro. He's made a friend our of the redhead and it was nice to see.

"Oh yeah, you have anyone else in mind for the second spot?" Ayano asked then added teasingly, "You and Izuku seem to getting along better."

"Like hell, I'd ask that damn nerd to come with me!" Katsuki snapped then got quiet. "…Do you want to go?…"

Ayano eyes widened at his words before she felt a flutter in her chest and those thoughts rush back to her head.

"R-really?" She asked while mentally cursing herself for stuttering. "I'd like that. I hear the place is amazing."

"Yeah," Was all Katsuki replied as he continued walking.

Ayano watched him go before moving to catch up to him. She slipped her hand into his, which had him flinching slightly. Though he didn't pull away. In fact, he tightened his hold on her hand. Ayano's face heated up as she kept her face down.

'What's wrong with me?' She thought. 'These feelings…could they really mean what I think they mean? When did things…start to change? When did I start…to feel like this…for him?'

She looked up at Katsuki as the thoughts continued to go through her mind. Things were definitely different between them, and while it scared her a little and maybe while she was still a bit unsure, she didn't dislike them. In fact, they made her feel all warm inside. She just wondered…did he feel the same?

Coco: Awwww, these two are starting to truly realize their feelings for each other X3 It gives me warm fuzzes when I'm writing their relationship development. I've never written a slowburn like this and its hard to believe we're almost 50 chapters in without them together. But I like how I've wrote their story. The way its growing just feels more real to me and I can't wait to right more :D

Now, that's it for us today. Hope to all my fellow Americans you have a happy Fourth despite all the craziness going on. And to all my readers, hope you all are happy and safe and can't wait to be posting for you all again soon.
