Coco: Hey, guys, I'm back (much sooner than even I expected) with the next chapter! This is mostly original work with very little of the anime/manga in it. And I'm throwing in some new twists that never happened in canon for the rescue. Hoping it goes well. Like I hope it goes well written out as it does in my head...We'll see, won't we? Anyway~ Hope you guys are ready as we dive a bit into Ayano's family past and even a small snippet specifically into Rina's as we try to find out what you've all been wondering for a while...Why is Rina with All for One?

Knock!—Knock!—Knock!

Kazane frowned as loud knocking woke her from her slumber. She opened her eyes seeing it was early in the morning. Way too early to be making a house call.

'Who could it be at this hour?' She wondered as she forced herself out of bed.

She doubted it was Armin. The man was away on a small trip. Even if he did come home early, he had a key to get in. She shook her head supposing she'd just have to go and see. She put her robe around her while making her way to the front door of her apartment.

"I'm coming!" She called to the person who was still making that insistent knocking.

She opened the door only to try and shut it as soon as she saw who it was on the other side.

"Kazane, wait," Giichi said firmly as he caught the door in his hand.

Kazane frowned, but opened the door fully once more to face her father who looked uncharacteristically disheveled.

"What do you want?" She asked as she crossed her arms over her chest. "And at this hour?"

"I came to see if you were okay and to take you with me to the police station." Giichi said.

Kazane's frown deepened, but into one of confusion at her father's statement.

"Police station?" She repeated. "Why would I need to go there?"

She feared maybe something happened to Armin while he was away, but that wouldn't explain why her father was here. If something had happened to her fiancé and the police were involved then it would make more sense for an officer to be here to collect her not Giichi.

"Something has happened to Ayano." Giichi said. "And Rina is involved. I fear you might get pulled into danger next, so we need to hurry. Get dressed quickly and come with me."

Kazane's eyes widened when hearing something happened to her younger sisters.

"What happened?" Kazane asked. "Is Ayano alright? Where is she? And what about Rina?"

"I'll explain on the way." Giichi said. "Hurry!"

As his eldest hurried off to get dressed, Giichi sighed while glancing around to make sure no one else was near. When he had gotten the call from All Might, he couldn't believe it. He felt so stupid. He should have known the League of Villains wouldn't hesitate to attack the students of U.A. again. In fact, it'd be the perfect time to considering where they had been and how unlikely help would have arrived in time. In fact, it hadn't, and now his youngest daughter was in their hands. And if Nighteye's intel really is correct…Rina is now the enemy.

'How did things end up like this?' He wondered as his eyes narrowed. 'How could I let this happen to them? Oh, Etsudo…I've failed them completely…'

PAST

"Rina, this is Tomura." Master said as he gently pushed Rina towards the blue-haired boy in front of her. "You two are going to be good friends starting today."

Rina tilted her head at the boy who wore a hand over his face, which made it difficult to see him clearly. He seemed to be studying her as well, however, as he tilted his head to match her.

"Together you will be able to reach your goals." Master continued. "So be sure to help each other grow."

Rina didn't reply at first nor did she got out of her way to greet her new friend as Master called him. She didn't care about him. She only cared about one thing. Rina turned her head up to look at Master.

"So, if we help each other, I'll be able to accomplish mother's dream?" Rina asked Master.

Master nodded as he reached down to place his hand on top of the white-haired girl's head.

"That's right, Rina." Master said. "Together you'll be able to accomplish what my dear friend Etsudo always wanted."

Rina smiled at that. A small twisted smile that nearly reached from ear to ear.

"And then Ayano won't be needed anymore." Rina said before silently adding to herself. 'I'll be able to rid the world of that monster and mother's dream will come true.'

PRESENT

Rina frowned looking at Ayano, who was limp in the chair she was in, as the girl was sat next to her classmate Bakugo Katsuki. Ayano was barely conscious as the constant morphine being pumped into her body kept her unable to use her quirk. She wasn't aware enough to do anything, which made the restraints on her legs and arms seem a bit much, but better safe than sorry.

"Rina, is she still under?" Tomura asked.

Katsuki, who had been watching Ayano closely, turned to glare at the leader of the League. However, Tomura paid him no mind as he looked to Rina.

"Yes, she won't be causing any trouble anytime soon." Rina said. "She can barely make a coherent thought let alone use her quirk."

"Good," Tomura said. "We don't need her causing problems before we send her to Master."

Rina nodded in agreement as she wheeled herself closer to Ayano, which had Katsuki stiffening. Rina reached out towards the girl.

"Hey, keep your hands off her!" Katsuki snapped as he thrashed in his seat.

Rina paused giving the boy an unimpressed look as he glared at her with enough anger that would make anyone of weaker mind tremble. However, Rina wasn't one of those people.

"I don't think you have the right to tell me to keep my hands off of her." Rina said. "She is my little sister after all."

Katsuki's eyes widened at that before he took note of the similarities between Rina and Ayano. The same eye shape. They even shared the same nose structure and jaw structure. Really if it wasn't for the different hair color and eye color, Katsuki would say he was looking at a copy of Ayano.

"If you're really her sister, why the hell are you doing this?!" Katsuki demanded.

"It's a bit complicated." Rina said. "But to sum it up, it all has to deal with her quirk. Her true quirk. Not the one she's been masquerading with all this time."

Katsuki was even more confused now, and it clearly showed as his eyebrows pulled together. Rina chuckled seeing his look.

"Oh, you poor boy, you have no idea." Rina said. "No idea what kind of monster your friend really is."

"That can't be!" Kazane said as she quickly stood up from the chair that had been offered to her. "You're wrong!"

Tsukauchi held up his hands in a placid manner as Kazane was glaring between him and Nighteye who had been called in. Giichi sat in a chair in the back corner quietly as he watched the scene. If he needed to step in, he would, but he thought it best he stays back for now.

"I know that it's a lot to take in, Sebone-san, but Sir Nighteye's intel is sound." Tsukauchi said. "He's been looking into your sister Rina's disappearance for some time, so this isn't something he's just put together in theory."

Kazane shook her head not wanting to believe it. She couldn't believe that sweet little Rina would be a villain. Would hurt people. Would side with All for One of all people. Especially considering all the harm he's caused their family. What he did to their mother.

"Some time ago Rina and your grandparents—Kichigai Idenshi and Nozomi—disappeared without a trace," Nighteye said. "No one knew what happened to them and after months of investigation, the cops had dropped the search as no leads were ever found. Even after years of my own investigation along with Tsukauchi's help, nothing too solid was ever turned up. However, as of late there were several eyewitness accounts to a girl looking to be in her late teens to early twenties that fits Rina's description. This girl has been said to always be seen with a man who can only be the man known as Kurogiri based on descriptions given. Kurogiri is a prominent member of the League of Villains who we highly suspect fall under All for One's influence."

Kazane slowly sat back down. Her legs suddenly becoming too weak to hold herself up any longer.

"We don't know why Rina is with them." Nighteye continued. "However, we do know that it doesn't appear that they're threatening her. Though as Etsudo's quirk was taken by All for One, I expect her memories might have been altered, so she thinks we're the enemy now."

"But why would he keep her? What does he have to gain from taking her?" Kazane asked. "For raising her? The Kichigai Family have been enemies of his for generations."

She remembers the stories her grandfather used to tell her about how their family has been trying to take down All for One since he first rose into power. Those connected to One for All aren't the only ones who have fought this evil for so long.

"Yes, and with Ayano's birth, the Kichigai Family finally had their weapon that could pose a serious threat to him." Nighteye said. "Alone Hive isn't that strong. Without the minds of others with psychic-like abilities for it to connect to, Hive is basically powerless. But with it to connect all of their quirks together, the Kichigai could have used their combined power to deal a great blow to All for One. But only you and your sisters are what remain of your family. I think using the three of you, he wishes to take that power the Kichigai Family strained to obtain for years and use it to put himself back in power. The same power he had before One for All existed. The first step was most likely getting one of you on his side."

He was most likely doing it as some kind of twisted way to get back at the Kichigai Family and at All Might. He always did love playing his mind games and tormenting those he wished to crush.

"But why Rina?" Kazane asked. "Wouldn't taking Ayano directly have been better?"

"Perhaps, but her power had been sealed away at the time." Nighteye said. "With Hive dormant he couldn't have the power he wanted. I'm not sure exactly what game he is trying to play, but I do know we need to keep you here under closer supervision. He already has Rina and Ayano. The chances of him wanting you there as well when he tries to awaken Hive are high, and we don't need that. You know very well what happens with Hive when Ayano is under duress."

Kazane frowned because she does remember. One tantrum from Ayano when they were still all together as a family, had put a large crack down the middle of their home. Kazane doesn't remember the act exactly as Hive have taken over her mind alongside Rina's. But just connecting to the two of them and drawing on their combined power had caused a lot of damage.

"I understand." Kazane said. "But what do you plan to do?"

Tsukauchi and Nighteye exchanged a glance between the pair of them that didn't set well with Kazane. Tsukauchi sighed before looking back to Rina.

"We already have a plan in motion to save Ishida Ayano and her classmate Bakugo Katsuki." Tsukauchi said. "In fact, several heroes are on their way here to help as we speak. The police are getting ready as well. I have full confidence we'll be able to get the two students back."

Giichi frowned. He wasn't so sure himself. He was going to get Ayano back for certain. No matter the cost. However, he wasn't so sure how the rest of the plan would pan out considering their opponents.

"And Rina?" Kazane prompted.

She noticed how Tsukauchi had avoided mentioning the League of Villains all together when he spoke, but she wasn't about to drop the subject.

"The League of Villains, which includes all of its associates will be arrested as the criminals they are." Nighteye answered for the detective. "Even if her memories have been altered, Rina has still committed several crimes. Two of those being an attack on minors and the abduction of two others. If anything can be done for her to somehow lessen her punishment, it will be looked into, but I highly doubt anything can help her at this point."

Kazane's hands curled into fists at this news as she looked down at her lap. She couldn't believe all this has happened to their family. At one point, they had all lived happily together and safe. A completely normal, happy family, but look at them now…broken and on opposing sides. Not to mention…the hatred…Kazane turned her eyes on her father who has been silent this entire time.

"I will never forgive you." Kazane said with her voice a harsh whisper.

She said no more than that, but nothing more needed to be said. Giichi knew what she meant loud and clear. He failed them as a hero, but more importantly as a father. He left them because he was too weak to look at them after losing their mother. Too weak to be the father he should have been.

"Good," Giichi said as he stood to head out of the room. "Because that makes two of us."

He then left leaving Kazane to cry silently into her hands, which she brought up to her face. Tsukauchi looked at the young woman sympathetically.

"Your fiancé should be here soon to be with you," He said gently then looked to Nighteye. "We need to get ready."

"Yes," Nighteye agreed as he stood.

Tsukauchi nodded then left the room first, but Nighteye lingered for a moment as he turned his gaze on Kazane.

"My predictions have never been wrong," He said. "It's why your parents heeded my warning and separated Ayano from your family all together. And even with her removed, things seem to be falling onto the path I had foreseen all those years ago…However, despite never being wrong and despite things as they are looking now…I wish to change her future."

Kazane, who was still sniffling, raised her head from her hands to look up at Nighteye. He said no more than that then left the girl to follow after Tsukauchi.

'When I had invited her to my agency, I had merely wanted to observe how far along she had come,' Nighteye thought to himself. 'That's why I put her through that training. I also wanted to see her weaknesses, so if worse came to worse, she could be taken down to save everyone else.'

However, things changed. In the short time Ayano was at his agency, Nighteye was swayed in his planning by the light that just seemed to shine through the girl. No matter what she did, she gave it her all and she did it to keep up with those she loved. Everything she did was for those she cared about. Just seeing how far she's come since he first laid eyes on her…seeing the compassion and determination behind her strong will, it made him want to see how much she'd continue to grow. He wanted to see a future where she reached her goals and could be the hero she wishes to be.

"…Nighteye…"

Nighteye came out of his thoughts at the familiar voice calling his name. He looked up seeing All Might, who was in his muscle form, standing before him.

"All Might," Nighteye acknowledged.

Tsukauchi, who had stopped to talk to the Symbol of Peace, looked between the two men.

"I hope this isn't going to cause any trouble." Tsukauchi said.

"Not at all," Nighteye said as he adjusted his glasses. "I'm here to assist in anyway I can to retrieve my kidnapped protégé. Digging up the past is not on my agenda for today."

"I feel so woozy," Ayano thought as she sat curled up against the wall.

Or rather fake wall as she recognized the space around her as the same small home that Hive had brought her to the first time they met. Meaning they were inside Ayano's head right now.

"Yes, Hive is unwell." Hive, who was still taking on the form of Ayano, agreed as it sat next to Ayano.

Ayano gave her quirk an irritable look, but narrowing her eyes like she only made her feel even less stellar.

"It's the stupid morphine they keep putting in us—I mean me." Ayano said as she placed her head against her knees. "If I could somehow stop its flow into my body, we might be able to fight back. But I can't think straight enough to do anything really."

Hive hummed in response as if it was thinking carefully about something. Ayano lifted her head once more to look at Hive.

"You got a plan or something?" Ayano questioned.

"Hive can feel the presence of another within Hive's mind." Hive said. "If Hive can connect to the presence perhaps Hive could recover enough strength to remove the source causing Hive to be unwell."

Ayano frowned supposing that could work, however, she was sure Rina would notice the second Hive reached out. Probably wouldn't end well for her or Hive if Rina figured out, they were trying to fight back.

"Could Hive perhaps distract this other psychic so Hive can save Hive from unwell feeling?" Hive asked as it looked to Ayano.

"You've got to stop referring to both of us as Hive." Ayano said. "It makes things confusing."

Hive blinked before tilting its head as if contemplating Ayano's words, which had the girl sighing.

"Very well," Hive said. "Will Ishida Ayano distract Sebone Rina, so Hive can save…Hive?"

'Well, that's a bit better.' Ayano thought before nodding.

Hive nodded in return before it disappeared from Ayano's side. Ayano sighed once more before forcing herself to stand.

"Hey, Rina!" Ayano called out. "I know you can hear me! Let's talk."

There were a few seconds of silence before Rina's image appeared in Ayano's mind. She stood on her own two feet as she looked to her little sister.

"You're walking…" Ayano commented.

"We're inside your head." Rina said as she tapped her temple. "This isn't the outside world where I'm wheelchair bound. Anything can happen in here, and you're weak right now, little sister, so even if this is your own head, I'm in control right now, so make things quick and don't try anything funny."

Ayano inwardly frowned. She hoped Hive worked fast because she wasn't sure how long she could keep Rina distracted. She also hoped Rina didn't sense Hive meddling.

"I just have a few questions." Ayano said. "Like, why do you hate me so much? And why are you with the bad guys?"

—IN THE OUTSIDE WORLD—

'She hasn't moved at all since we got here,' Katsuki thought as he looked to Ayano.

He then looked to the IV in her arm that fed her morphine periodically to keep her calm and unresponsive. All that morphine couldn't be good for her. His eyes snapped up away from Ayano as the door to the Villains' hideout opened. He narrowed his eyes as that Royale person walked by looking as if they just finished bathing.

"Feeling refreshed now?" Mr. Compressed asked them.

"Hmph, I feel clean at least," They huffed as they were pulling back their hair. "Has anything changed since I left?"

By that they were asking if Katsuki had been swayed to join them as Tomura was hoping to accomplish.

"No, the boy is still being quite stubborn," Mr. Compress said. "He refuses to understand that joining us would benefit him more greatly in the end."

The villains continued to converse around Katsuki, but he paid them no mind. He had to think of a way out of here. But the odds definitely weren't in his favor. Especially since Ayano was out of commission. The biggest threats were Royale and Ayano's supposed older sister Rina who was monitoring Ayano to make sure the morphine was still working on her. Even if the others weren't that big of an issue, there were still more of them than there were him. And since Ayano couldn't defend herself, she'd just be something to protect as he was trying to fight. That made things harder.

As all these thoughts continued running through his head, he noticed movement in the corner of his eyes. His eyes snapped over towards Ayano to see the tube connecting to the needle in her arm was shifting. Like some kind of force was trying to carefully and slowly pull it out without being noticed. Without moving his head, he turned his eyes up to Ayano's face to see the same blank expression still on it. But it had to be her moving to the tube. He wanted to call out to her. To see if she was still in there fighting, but knew better as it'd only alert Rina to something happening. So, he kept his mouth shut and moved his gaze away before the villains noticed.

'If she's working on freeing herself, there might be a chance we can get out of here,' Katsuki thought.

"I'll ask you one more time, Bakugo Katsuki—aspiring hero." Tomura said getting Katsuki's attention. "Will you join the League of Villains?"

Katsuki almost wanted to laugh at the question, but he settled for a taunting smirk instead.

"Go throw yourself into traffic." Katsuki snarled.

He then took a subtle glance at Ayano to see she was no longer pulling on the tube. It had him wondering if she lost whatever she had built up to move in the first place. However, he then noticed the tube was no longer connected to the needle and resting against the bandage on her wrist that had been holding it in place. And the villains didn't even seem to notice, which was the best part.

'She did it,' He thought. 'That's good. That means she might be able to fight back soon.'

He just had to buy time until them. Keep the villains focused on him until the time was right. Though it seemed as if they cared less about Ayano, so it shouldn't be too hard to do. The only issue was Rina who was connected to Ayano's mind. Hopefully Ayano wouldn't do anything to tip the older psychic off.

"I don't think you quite understand the situation." Tomura said as he picked up the TV remote from the counter. "I'm sure the media will help us enlighten you."

Katsuki just frowned as he kept quiet. He barely even glanced at the screen as Tomura turned it on. It didn't matter what was on there. His mind wouldn't be changed. He was going to get out of here. He was going to kick these guys' asses, and he and Ayano were going to go home. He'd be damned if he let anything less than that happen.

"Sir, do you think she's alright?" Bubble Girl asked Nighteye after the Strategy meeting was over.

Around them the heroes and police were starting to separate into the two teams needed for the mission. Bubble Girl was worried about Ayano as was Mirio who was back at the agency and left in the dark about the happenings going on tonight. He had refused to go home when Nighteye had asked it of him after Nighteye had been called into the station. While the boy didn't know the full details, he knew Ayano was involved in someway and that some kind of rescue was probably being planned.

"Ayano is a resourceful girl," Nighteye said. "I'm sure she's working on a way to save herself and her friend as we speak."

And according to the reports given by her homeroom teacher Aizawa, Hive was awake meaning she wasn't fighting on her own.

'Let's hope it helps her in the end and doesn't cause any unnecessary trouble,' Nighteye thought.

"Sir Nighteye, we're moving out," Tsukauchi told the man.

Nighteye nodded in reply then departed from Bubble Girl who would remain at the station with Kazane for her own protection. As the heroes and police left to prepare, Nighteye glanced over at Giichi who was conversing quietly with All Might.

'And let's hope he doesn't do anything too reckless,' Nighteye mentally added.

Coco: And that's the end of the chapter. Next chapter we'll jump back into the anime as the heroes get ready to save Katsuki and Ayano from the League of Villains.

I hope you liked the chapter. I know there was a lot of back and forth, and I hope it wasn't too confusing. I kind of just wanted to show more of the Rescue Team's side of things kind of and how things were going with the villains more than just showing Izuku's side of things like it does in the anime. I'll probably still stick with this view more in the next chapter, but I'll be sure to bring Izuku and the others in a bit more in the next chapter as they get ready to help how they can. Until then everyone~
