Craig backed up before hurling the weapon through the UnderGround cavern. The silver gun spun wildly before disappearing between the brown buildings. With that done, he pounced at my left arm and wrapped his hands around it. Digging his heels into the ground, he heaved, grunting with effort. I simultaneously retracted my right arm, trying to get Ryan to the ledge.

"Can you grab it?" I wheezed out, squeezing my eyes shut from the effort.

Ryan's panicked voice did not do anything to help. "And let go? Are you crazy?"

"You only need to let go of one hand and reach for the ledge! Can you reach it?"

"I am not-"

"So help me god, if you don't stop whining and reach for the ledge, I will drop us both and then you can see if you live or not!" I exploded, the pain in my stretching limbs growing unbearable.

"Fine, fine!" the pressure around my right arm lessened briefly before an answer.

"Not yet! A bit closer!"

"Urgh, fuck!" I cursed, now 90 percent sure I was on the path for 2 dislocated shoulders.

"Oi, Survey Corps!" Craig shouted to get my attention. "On the count of three!"

I nodded in acknowledgement and sucked in a deep breath.

"One, two, three!"

We all groaned in unison as everyone forced out their last bout of energy.

"Got it!"

Like a miracle, Craig had also managed to pull me back enough so that I wasn't leaning over the edge anymore. Glancing over when the weight on my arm disappeared completely, I spotted Ryan lifting himself into safety. Seeing we were both okay, Craig rushed over to help Ryan up the rest of the way. Finally done, the three of us spent the next few minutes simply recovering, sprawled out over the dirt as if it were carpet.

As my mind settled, I figured I had stalled long enough and with the sounds of more people rushing up the steps towards us, had drawn away enough people for the group to escape.

Time to jet. Pulling myself up, I casually brushed myself off.

"Well, I can definitely say it's been interesting meeting the both of you gentlemen. However, it is time for me to head off."

At this, they merely glanced over at me.

"But-"

I raised an eyebrow in response. Did they really think I would stay and let myself be captured?

Another pause and then Craig simply turned his head away. "Let's hope we never meet again."

I chuckled, and backed up to the edge of the cliff again as the tops of more heads peeked over the stairs.

"Yes sir." And stepped back into the air.

Now flying through the tunnels from Exit 2, I narrowly dodged a surprise rock and skidded to a stop.

"Where the hell have you been, Rina?"

Jack and the rest came out from hiding, clearly knowing it was me creating that racket with my landing. Luckily, it seemed Steve had gotten back safe and sound, also appearing from the shadows. I chuckled weakly and flicked my head towards a corridor.

"Sometimes I am just too good at my job."

Shaking their heads in silent judgement at me, we began running down the corridor. Well, running as fast as we could with Jack piggybacking Linda. It was the safest and fastest way to move, without injuring her further. The corridors here were just big enough for 3 people to move side by side. I began calling out orders as we moved through the maze. Sounds from behind us faintly drifted by as the group hunting us grew ever closer.

"All right, Brian, you're at front with me! Jack and Doc you two stay in the middle of the group. Double S, I'll need you at the rear!"

"Yes sir!"

With that and manouvering ourselves with the limited space, my team members shifted into their positions. We continued to jog, not wanting to lose even a metre of distance.

"Map?"

"Here, Hazura!" Brian reached back, rustling in his pockets for a bit before handing over the crumpled UnderGround map. I turned and thrust it at the doctor.

"We're going to be a tad busy Doc so I hope you're up for playing navigator."

"I just wish it were in better circumstances. Give a minute to figure out where we're currently at."

I nodded in agreement.

"Incoming!"

Turning back to the front at Soph's warning, I spied two dark shadows rapidly growing closer.

"Front!" claimed Brian and hurried his steps.

"Back!" I confirmed and let the man take the lead.

The first man to encounter us came screaming, fist up and ready. Once in reach, he swung wildly, putting his full body force into it. Brian blocked it in perfect form but the sheer momentum was enough to make him wince. I came up from behind, dodging both my team mate and the offender. Coming up to their side, I smoothly dropped into a forward floor sweep kick. The man buckled, as Brian stepped back, shaking out the tension in her arms. Yelling, our opponent face planted into the dirt before Brian and I dropped down on top of him as the rest of our group scooted past. A big knock to the head with the end of my blade was enough to temporarily black the man out.

Exchanging glances, Brian and I returned to our group, now holding up the rear. Steve and Soph had smoothly transitioned themselves in the movement, heading our unit.

"Upcoming intersection, Doc!" called Jack, shifting Linda on his back. Shooting my injured member a worried look, she gave me a weak smile in reassurance.

"Take a left and then an immediate right!" replied the medical miracle, squinting at the map as he ran with us.

Almost skidding around the left corner as we came up to it, the tight twist turned out to be a trap. 4 burly men were already there as we literally ran into them and I instantly recognized two of them. Luckily enough, it didn't look as they were expecting us so soon, as Steve and Soph managed to bowl two of them over. As they recovered from the initial shock, I leapt forward between Jack and the Doc, both my blades out in defence.

"Out of the way, Twinkle Toes. Candy Floss."

"Hazura."

And they charged.
