Coco: It's time for part two of this double update! And I hope you're ready. I did use...episode 17 I believe it was for this chapter, and I like how it turned out after all was said and done. And I hope you like it too.

Now, shall we get started?

Konan walked towards the anteroom as she had been instructed while wondering how many of her classmates would be there. As she walked, she spotted a familiar two-toned haired boy a bit in front of her.

"Todoroki," She called out.

Shoto stopped while turning to see Konan. He waited for her to catch up while noticing a bit of a singe mark on the sleeve of her costume. Other than that, she seemed fine.

"Kurafutoshi," Shoto returned her greeting. "None of the others are with you?"

"We were separated early on," Konan explained. "Shindō of Ketsubutsu used his quirk to force all of us apart. I believe some of us might have been separated into groups, but I ended up alone."

Shoto nodded as the two continued on their way to the anteroom side-by-side. The two then reached the anteroom and as they stepped in, they were surprised when seeing so many people.

"So, these people all must have passed," Konan said.

Shoto nodded in agreement while not seeing any of their classmates in the room. He was a bit surprised he and Konan were the only ones. Or so he thought before he grunted when someone came running into him. He instinctively put his arms around the person as he already knew who it was.

"Shoto!" Ayumi cheered before she let him go to hug Konan. "Konan! Finally, some familiar faces."

Ayumi then stepped back, and Konan felt a bit of amusement when seeing a few crumbs on the girl's face. She was obviously taking advantage of the food that was offered to them.

"Jinsoku, I take it you were the first of us to pass." Konan said. "How unsurprising."

Ayumi's grin widen at Konan's words as she gave an excited bob of her head. She paused in her nod, however, as Shoto reached out to brush the crumbs off of her face.

"You have food on your face," He said calmly.

"Oopsy, my bad." Ayumi said. "I was just so hungry and the food here is good. Not Lunch Rush good, but good! And there's so much of it."

She continued rambling with her classmates listening to her as best they could. Sometimes Ayumi spoke too fast without realizing it, but her classmates never mentioned it. Mostly because they didn't want to hurt her feelings or anything. As the speedster went on, Konan wondered how the others were doing. Hopefully they'd be joining them soon.

"So far, 56 people have passed," Mera reported. "Don't panic, but do consider your time is almost up. Good luck."

Hachiro frowned as he stood next to Tsuyu who was watching Mezo search for their classmates. Momo was behind them with a pensive look on her face as Kyoka wasn't far away and using her quirk to listen for any enemies who might be nearby.

"Having any luck, Shoji?" Tsuyu asked.

"It's no use," Mezo said. "I can't see anyone from our class."

There was no telling how spread out they were by now. Hachiro and his four classmates were all the way in the city zone by now. The others might not have even left the open rocky area. Or some might have even went to different zones.

"Maybe they're in another area," Tsuyu voiced Hachiro's thoughts out loud.

"Most likely." Mezo agreed. "Yaoyorozu, you heard that, right? Less than half of the spots remain."

"Then we should worry about ourselves." Hachiro said. "If we keep looking for the others, we won't pass. I have faith that they're fine wherever they are."

Tsuyu nodded along with Hachiro's words as the arachnid-like teen was ready to get moving. He didn't like just standing around like this.

"Yes, that would be wisest." Momo said.

Kyoka hushed all of them, which had them turning towards the dark-haired girl.

"I hear four people climbing the stairs." She said. "Ten floors below. They're heading up here."

Hachiro guessed that meant those heading this way most likely knew they were here. Meaning they'd probably have a fight to deal with soon.

"Are they planning to attack us?" Mezo asked.

"I don't understand why there are only four of them coming if that's the case." Momo said. "All the other schools we've observed have moved in much larger groups than that."

"Maybe their companions were defeated, and they're running away to hide in here." Tsuyu guessed.

Hachiro shook his head because he highly doubted it was that. Kyoka didn't mention them moving swiftly or panickily.

"They could have broken off from the rest of their school." Hachiro suggested. "Maybe like a few certain individuals in our class they didn't feel like they needed a large group. Or they're just a distraction. Whatever the case, I feel like we're going to have a fight on our hands."

Momo's brow furrowed as she knew Hachiro could be right. They'd most likely have to deal with another school and fight them off.

"I think Nida's right." Kyoka said. "They're not stopping on the other floors."

"Are there more of them hiding somewhere?" Momo wondered aloud. "It could possibly be as Nida suggests and they just be a distraction. Or even worse."

Before the others could think of what they should do, Kyoka cried out while removing her jacks from the wall instantly.

"Jiro!/Are you okay?!" Momo and Tsuyu called out in unison as Hachiro caught Kyoka who fell backwards.

He held her crouched on the ground as Momo and Tsuyu checked on the girl who was clutching her aching ears. Mezo went over to the wall to press an ear made from the tip of his tentacles against the wall.

"There's music playing." Mezo said. "It's not too bad for me, but hearing it suddenly must have been a huge shock for Jiro."

"So, they must know Kyoka's quirk and were targeting her on purpose." Tsuyu realized.

That would make sense. Meaning this really was an attack from another school, and they just cost U.A. their ears.

"It's a coordinated attack." Mezo said.

"This isn't good," Momo said as she stood. "Now we can't tell where anyone is."

It certainly made things a bit harder on them. Hachiro then stiffened as he sensed something coming towards them. He used his webs to snag Mezo and Momo who he tugged swiftly away from the windows as one of them broke. They gasped watching as all the windows in the room were shattered one after the other.

"Everyone, hide!" Momo ordered.

Everyone was quick to take cover with Hachiro ducking behind one of the stone pillars.

"Attacks from the outside?!" Kyoka exclaimed in shock.

"What's their plan?" Tsuyu asked.

"They're trying to keep me from using my eyes." Mezo said.

This would practically leave them blind and deaf to anything going on outside this room. The room they were slowly being trapped in.

"Yaoyorozu, what could their next move be?" Mezo asked their co-deputy.

"I'm not positive, but it seems like that they're trying to trap us here." Momo replied.

Hachiro had been thinking the exact same, and he didn't like feeling trapped. Not in the slightest.

"Then they'll surround us and attack us as a group!" Tsuyu guessed the ultimate goal of their opponents' plan.

"Yes," Momo said with a nod. "We should assume they're already close by waiting for the right moment to strike."

Meaning trying to get out of there with force was a very bad idea for any of them to do. They couldn't be reckless.

"In that case, we have to fight!" Kyoka said as she hooked her jacks into her new wrist amps.

Momo called for her to wait, but Kyoka was already moving to do her ultimate move. And it was at that moment, Hachiro felt another jolt in his senses. He moved on instinct and jumped towards Kyoka as two attacks came from outside. One managed to destroy one of her amps, but before the other attack hit, Hachiro managed to snag her. He felt a sharp pain go through his wrist, but he ignored it as he cocooned Kyoka into his hold and rolled out of the way of danger. He tucked her against wall and bins she had been next to earlier while keeping his back facing the window. That way hopefully their opponents wouldn't try and attack her again to try and take out her remaining amp.

"Jiro, Nida!" Mezo called out to them.

"Are you injured?" Momo asked.

Hachiro looked over Kyoka seeing that first attack he couldn't save her from had not only took out her left amp but harmed her left ear as well. He felt his chest tighten at the sight of the injury. It might have been small, but if he had been faster, he could have prevented it all together.

"They got my left amp and my left ear," Kyoka reported then gasped when seeing the blood on Hachiro's wrist. "Nida, you're bleeding!"

Her words brought worry from her other three classmates as Hachiro finally took note of his own wound. He frowned seeing the attack from earlier put a rather deep hole in his wrist. Where he produced his webbing. The offending object that caused the damage was still in his arm, and he pulled it out, which caused a bit more blood to leak out though it was hard to see against the dark fabric of his sleeve. Kyoka felt guilt as she saw how badly his wrist was hurt. Hachiro didn't seem to care, however, as he tossed the small ball that had caused the damage to the side.

"It isn't that bad." He said to everyone. "I barely feel any pain, but I won't be able to produce any webbing from my right wrist anytime soon."

Momo frowned. Two of them were now injured, and that wasn't the biggest problem as she realized their opponents' plan was even more thought out than she thought.

"Does it feel colder to you?" Mezo asked snapping Momo out of her thoughts.

Hachiro frowned as he and the others soon realized Mezo was right. It was getting colder and rapidly as well.

"Actually, now that you mention it, yes." Momo said then gasped as she noticed the cold air being pumped through the air vents. "It's coming from the vents!"

Though that wasn't their worst concern as the iron shutters on the windows—used for security—slammed shut. Trapping them even further.

"They've shut us in?" Mezo wondered.

The cold air seemed to become even worse, and Hachiro shuddered as he felt its affects start to overwhelm his body. It wasn't ready for such wintery temperatures.

"The temperature is steadily decreasing." Momo noted.

"This place is turning into a freezer." Kyoka said as she stood.

The two girls and Mezo became even more concerned with their predicament as Tsuyu started wobbling on her feet.

"Asui, what's wrong?" Mezo asked as she suddenly hit the ground.

Momo, Kyoka, and Mezo went to check on the small girl as Hachiro was shaking his head to try and push away the drowsiness he was feeling. Things were getting hard to focus on and he felt his body trying to slow down while also pump out the antifreeze chemical it produces during the winter months as it's part of his quirk.

"Crap, since the temperature dropped all of a sudden, her body is going into hibernation," Kyoka realized as Tsuyu lay sleeping on the floor.

She whirled around when a thud sounded behind them with her eyes widening when she saw Hachiro hunched over on the ground.

"Nida!" She shouted as Momo went to check on him.

Momo knelt down next to Hachiro as the boy was clearly having trouble trying to keep himself awake.

"The cold is taking its toll on him as well." Momo said. "Even if not all spiders hibernate in the colder months, their bodies slow down—especially their metabolism—so to survive."

Mezo frowned because this wasn't good. The cold was a problem for all of them, but two of his classmates were obviously extremely weakened by the cold temperature of the room.

"We need a fire!" Mezo said to Momo. "Make a lighter or matches."

"No, I can't." Momo said as she placed her hand on Hachiro's back as he shivered. "We'll set the sprinklers off. That's only going to make them even colder."

They couldn't risk that. Their poor classmates were already cold enough, and Hachiro was barely staying awake as is.

"An electric heater or something?" Kyoka suggested.

"Our opponents have control over the air conditioner." Momo reminded Kyoka then created a blanket. "They probably turned off the electricity as well. Here use this for Asui for now."

She tossed the blanket at Mezo who took it to wrap the still sleeping frog up in it tightly. Momo went to create another blanket, but Hachiro reaching out to grab her wrist stopped her.

"Don't waste your quirk on me," Hachiro said through chattering teeth. "Save it for when it really matters."

Momo frowned wanting to protest, but a sound behind them had those three still standing to turn and see someone was sealing the door shut behind them.

"What are they doing to the door?" Kyoka asked.

"Welding it shut," Momo said. "Trapping us further."

Things were just becoming worse for them, and Momo wasn't sure what to do. Before she could even think of anything, their opponents made it even harder to escape let alone fight back.

"Are they trying to freeze us solid?" Mezo wondered.

Hachiro sure felt like it as his body seemed to feel even heavier. Trying to lull him into sleep, but he fought against it.

"Those doors over there are the only ones we have left." Kyoka said referring to the doors they had entered through earlier.

"We could break through," Mezo suggested as he stood with Tsuyu still in his arms.

"Our opponents are definitely waiting on the other side," Momo said. "It's dangerous."

She then helped Hachiro up to his feet and allowed him to lean against her as he was unable to stand on his own.

"How did they manage to outthink us so quickly?" Mezo asked.

"What are we supposed to do?" Kyoka added as she rubbed her arms.

She wasn't handling the cold well herself and felt like she might turn into a popsicle at any moment.

"If we stay holed up, we'll have to do something about the cold." Mezo pointed out. "Otherwise, we'll be done for."

Kyoka turned towards Momo as she was still supporting the drowsy Hachiro.

"Yao-Momo, what if you made a bomb?" Kyoka asked the taller girl. "We can blow the door to the emergency exit."

"We'd run the risk of creating a frenetic explosion, and they likely know we'd think about that." Momo said as she shook her head. "Which is why they sealed the observation room and lowered the temperature."

"Then what?!" Kyoka asked.

They had to do something as standing around was only getting them colder and nowhere close to getting out. Kyoka was then surprised as she was suddenly getting something pulled over her head. She looked up as Hachiro, who managed to shuffle away from Momo, was putting the second layer to the top of his costume on her. The top layer was a sleeveless hooded shirt, and while it had no sleeves, Kyoka felt a bit warmer. Especially when Hachiro pulled the hood over her head.

"What are you doing?" Kyoka asked him. "You'll only get colder!"

Hachiro just gently pat her head before he turned to Momo while pulling off the first layer, which was a long sleeve, tightfitting top. Before Momo could even protest, Hachiro had it on her and even had her arms through the sleeves. Neither top had any of his targets on them as he placed all three along his right outer thigh, so it wasn't like he was breaking any rules. Honestly, he didn't care either way as long as he could try to keep at least two of his classmates warm.

"Just try to stay warm," He said. "I've had to go through training like this with my parents. It was under slightly different circumstances as it was a mountain rescue exercise, but I can handle it. My body is forcing itself to produce an antifreeze chemical to pump through my body. It won't warm me precisely, but I'll be able to function better the more it filters through my body. I'll be slower, but I can still fight. We just have to hold on and think about what we can do."

Momo stared up at him with wide eyes as Hachiro, who still looked to be struggling to even move, went over to check on Tsuyu. He placed his hand on the top of her head, and told Mezo to try and rub Tsuyu through the blanket to create friction for warmth. Hachiro then looked up at the vents that was sending the cool air into the room.

"Yao-Momo, if we can cover the air vents, will it help?" Hachiro asked looking back to Momo.

"It should," Momo said. "At least it won't get any colder."

Hachiro nodded his head before he used his uninjured wrist to shoot his webs into the air vents. As he worked on closing up the air vents, Momo watched him in worry. She had to do something, but she didn't know what to do.

"Hey, why aren't you making anything?" Kyoka asked Momo.

"Is there something wrong?" Mezo asked.

"No matter how many different ways I look at this situation, I get the same answer," Momo said as she turned to face her classmates. "The enemies want me to use my quirk."

"Until you can't create anything else." Mezo said as he realized what Momo was thinking.

Momo nodded her head as Hachiro, who finished closing up the vents, walked back over to the group.

"Right," Momo said. "My quirk has many applications. They can't account for all the things I might make, which is why they're doing this. At first, I thought the manipulation of the air conditioning was to take Asui and Nida off the board. But I believe their true intention was to force my hand and exhaust me."

That would leave all of them unable to fight back pretty much except for Mezo. Though it'd be hard for him to defend three classmates all on his own.

"Very clever," Mezo said. "Then once your powerless they'll march in. No doubt they could easily hit our targets."

"Yes, so I can't use it," Momo said. "We'd just be playing right into their hands. We wait for the need to arise. When there's no other option."

Momo didn't like the plan, but she didn't know what else they could do. If they wait their enemy out, maybe they'll come storming in thinking Momo had already used her quirk. Momo could retaliate then, but there was no guarantee that she won't succumb to the cold by then. Or if Hachiro and Tsuyu would be okay after being exposed to the cold for so long.

"But if we stay hiding in here," Kyoka began. "There's no possible way we'll pass the licensing exam. We should just charge out that door, and attack them head on."

"I'm sure that such a smart enemy has predicted that we might do that," Mezo warned her.

"Okay fine, then what do we do?" Kyoka asked.

She didn't want to stay trapped in this room any longer. They were all freezing. Momo looked at her friends knowing that she had to figure something out. Kyoka was right when saying they couldn't stay here long. Hachiro let out a breath as he tried to think of what to do as well. It's true barging out there not knowing who or what awaited them was foolish, but it didn't seem as if they had much of a choice.

'I have to worry about them,' Hachiro thought as he looked to his cold classmates.

Despite having his hoodie, Kyoka was still cold. He could tell by how she was trying her hardest to bundle up in what he had given her. Mezo had nothing to keep him warm just like Hachiro, and poor Tsuyu was just going to fall deeper into slumber the longer she was in this freezer. Even with him blocking the vents, it didn't change the frigidness they all felt. It'd take too much time for the room to warm on its own. Hours, which they didn't have. Hachiro moved to guide Kyoka closer to Mezo.

"Huddle together." He told them. "Try to combine your body heats. It won't help much, but it will do something at least."

Skin on skin contact was one of the better ways to share body heat to warm a person, but Hachiro doubted his classmates were agree to such a tactic. As he rubbed Kyoka's arms to try and warm her, she huddled closer to Mezo who continued to hold Tsuyu tight.

"Everyone, please endure these conditions a few more minutes," Momo begged them.

Her words had them turning towards her, and her lifting Hachiro's shirt up and pull apart her own caused Kyoka and Mezo to gasp.

"Hey, are you crazy?!" Kyoka snapped as she covered Hachiro's eyes while Mezo turned around.

"Just bear with me," Was all Momo said as she created five sets of headphones.

Kyoka, who dropped her hand from Hachiro's eyes, reached forward to pick up one of the headphones in confusion.

"Why headphones?" Kyoka asked.

"Please, put them on," Momo instructed as she bent over on the ground.

Kyoka and Hachiro watched as Momo activated her quirk in her back while creating something large. Kyoka's eyes widened as she started to recognize the shape of it.

"Wait, is that…?" Kyoka trailed off.

Momo didn't reply, but once the object was made, it was revealed as a giant amp. Momo asked Hachiro to move it where it was needed.

"We'll take them down with this," Momo told her classmates. "Jiro, please, will you use your quirk?"

Kyoka, who put the headphones over her ears, nodded then moved to insert her jack into the amp. The others moved behind her, and Mezo adjusted Tsuyu to his back after Hachiro put the headphones over her ears. Once all of them had their ears covered, Kyoka sent her heartbeat through the amp. The sound of it shook their bodies, and Hachiro grit his teeth together at the uncomfortable almost painful feeling.

"The headphones help, but the force is rattling my body." Kyoka said.

Due to the jarring feeling caused by the amp, Tsuyu began to wake and stirred in Mezo's hold.

"Ribbit…" She murmured her eyes opened slowly.

"Asui, are you alright?" Mezo asked the girl.

She just blinked in return, but was enough for Hachiro as he felt relieved that she was awake.

"Please, everyone, seven more seconds and then it'll be over!" Momo promised them. "…6…5…4…3…2…1…"

At her signal, the group hurried through the double doors to see their enemy laid out on the floor. It was all girls wearing the same exact uniform. Hachiro didn't recognize the uniform and didn't know what school they came from, but they had been truly tough opponents.

"Alright, we rocked this!" Kyoka said as she held up her thumb.

"Now, hit their targets," Momo said with a smile.

"You got it," Mezo said as he carefully set Tsuyu down. "Can you move?"

"Yeah, ribbit, I'll be okay," Tsuyu assured her friends.

She then gasped as Hachiro lifted her off the ground to give her a big hug. He nuzzled his face against the top of her head with a big smile on his face.

"Good because I was worried!" He said shamelessly as he continued to hug Tsuyu.

Their classmates laughed at the pair as Tsuyu couldn't even move due to his tight embrace. However, Hachiro soon stiffened as he felt danger nearby. He looked up seeing one of the girls wasn't down and was about to attack Momo. Working fast, he moved Tsuyu into the crook of his right arm, so he could use his left to shoot webbing from his wrist to hit the girl behind Momo. His classmates gasped whirling around to see Hachiro trapped the girl by her wrists to the wall.

"Nice try," He said. "But you won't be attacking Yao-Momo. Just give in. You've been bested."

The girl glared at Hachiro as his classmates surrounded him looking ready to fight if the girl tried to attack. She gave in, however, as she dropped the ball she had had in her hand. After she gave up, Hachiro and his classmates tagged the people they needed to pass.

"Here," Kyoka said as she and Momo held up to two layers of his uniform to him. "You probably want these back. You look kind of ridiculous running around half naked."

Despite her quip, Hachiro laughed as he took the two items to slip back on over his body. Momo then used the little energy she had left to make a bandage for Hachiro's wrist.

"We don't want it getting infected." Momo said. "It's not perfect, but it should help."

"Thanks," Hachiro said with a grin.

"No, thank you," Momo said as she smiled. "You did a lot for us, Nida."

"Yeah, you were awesome," Kyoka added. "Thank you."

Hachiro just laughed as he scratched the back of his head. Tsuyu smiled while not surprised. Hachiro has proven since they all came together as a class that he'll do anything for his friends. Even putting himself completely at risk if it means they'll be okay.

"Let's get out of here." Hachiro said as he picked up Momo onto his back. "I bet our classmates are waiting on us."

"Yeah!" Kyoka and Tsuyu cheered.

Ayano let out a sigh as she stood up from where she had tagged out her second person. Well, there were actually more. She looked back to all those people she had managed to tag out. It really hadn't been in her intention to take out a large group of people, but when they jumped her and through their balls before she had time to think, she stopped the balls and hurdle them back at her attackers. So, ended up taking out about a dozen students more than what she needed.

"Oh well," She said as her targets lit up blue. "I passed and that's all that matters."

Coco: I know, Ayano passing wasn't all that exciting, but like I said, she'll get her moment in the spotlight during the second part of the exam. It was time for the others to get a moment to shine.

As I was writing these two chapters, it had me thinking that I don't think I ever really described my other OCs' costumes. I kind of glanced over Ayumi's costume and explained the coloring and such, but I never really went into detail. I might have to do a chapter bonus in the future that describes their looks. If you're interested that is.

I'm actually kind of enjoying doing like these little chapter bonuses XD They're fun. Might have to do more in the future.

Anyway, thanks for joining me on this doubt update! I hope you see you all again soon :D
