Coco: Hey, guys, it's you know who (no, not the dark lord), and I'm back with another chapter! I'm just like super excited to get to season 4 and I really wanted to write out this episode, so it pushed me to finish XD

As always, I hope you enjoy the chapter and I hope you guys are staying safe out there! Now, shall we begin?

As the villains came running towards Ayano and the other examinees, she knew she had to hurry and warn everyone else and move everyone around to where they need to be. There were still people who needed saving and these people here now had to be moved. And that was going to be hard with the approaching group of villains.

This wasn't like the U.S.J where Ayano and her fellow classmates only had to worry about surviving against the villains. This also was different than the incident on I-Island. There had been hostages then…but it wasn't anything like this where the civilians were right behind them and in the direct line of fire. But even so, she couldn't let herself panic.

'Everyone!' Ayano called out through the link. 'There is a large number of villains attacking near the first aid station. There isn't enough of us here to fight off the villains and evacuate the civilians. We need a few of our most battle suited heroes here now! We also need a few more hands to help with evacuation and to find a new place to set up a first aid station and evacuation center.'

'I will send Yoarashi to your location immediately.' Mora responded.

'I'm on my way, Ishida,' Shoto assured his classmate.

'Villains, huh? Sounds perfect.' Katsuki said sounding too excited considering the situation.

Ayano resisted the urge to roll her eyes at Katsuki's comment, but was glad to hear backup was coming.

'I'll begin immediately at securing a new aid station.' Momo told everyone.

'We'll help you,' Tatami said as she and a few of her classmates were gathering the injured.

As everyone got to work, Izuku ready for the fight at hand. However, Yo went surging forward pass him and Ayano.

"I'll keep them back until help arrives!" He said. "You worry helping with the evacuation, Midoriya. Ishida, you just worry about maintaining that link."

Ayano didn't think leaving everything to Yo was such a good idea. Not saying he was incapable, but just having one person go against such a large group of enemies wasn't a good idea. But help was on the way, so hopefully things would work out.

"Go on," Ayano told Izuku who paused. "We can't take any moment to hesitate. The citizens' safety takes highest priority."

"Right!" Izuku said as he turned to do as told.

Yo stopped a few yards away from the villains while placing his hands firmly on the ground.

"I'll start hammering away at the henchman at one second intervals." Yo said.

He used his vibrations to break up the ground and send the henchmen tumbling and spiraling, which stopped most of them in their tracks. This would give more time for Izuku and the others to evacuate the citizens. However, while it was a good plan, Gang Orca wasn't even phased. Ayano gasped as the No. 10 hero appeared in front of Yo in an instant. He used some kind of sonic wave to render Yo unconscious.

"Shindō!" Izuku called out in concern.

"Keep going!" Ayano ordered. "Think of the bystanders."

Izuku grit his teeth because he wanted to turn and help. Especially as he watched Ayano plant herself firmly between Gang Orca and them.

"A single rearguard to hold us back?" Gang Orca asked in disbelief as he tilted his head at the heroes-in-training. "You've underestimated me."

Ayano felt her hands curl into fists as she knew she had to be smart about this. There were civilians behind her. The other students couldn't help her as the civilians' evacuation took precedent. Backup wasn't here yet and she had a fallen hero at her feet who was just now in much danger as the bystanders.

'You can do this,' Ayano told herself. 'You just have to hold off until help arrives.'

She then lifted her head with her eyes widening when she heard many of the minds, she was connected to becoming stronger—closer. She felt her lips turn up, which didn't go unnoticed by Gang Orca. Thinking she was up to something, he rushed forward to take her out. She was an important piece anyway as she was connecting all these examinees together, so to work together easily and efficiently. If he takes out their communication system, they'll falter. Some might even panic. However, before he could reach her a wave of ice was sent his way. He had to turn and use his ultrasonic waves on the ice to make it shatter.

"Todoroki!" Izuku exclaimed when seeing his classmate.

Shoto just frowned looking annoyed that he wasn't able to end the villain attack with one move.

"Midoriya, we're here to help!" Mashirao called as he, Mina, Fumikage, and Hachiro came running.

Izuku felt more relief when seeing his classmates along with a few others from different schools. Mashirao reached Izuku while helping Izuku with the citizen he was carrying.

"You guys are here." Izuku said.
"Well, you heard Ishida give the call." Mina said with a grin. "We all hurried to do what was needed to get here. And left those most capable to set up a new aid station and evacuation center."

"That's good," Ayano said. "Now let's get the bystanders to safety."

Hachiro, Mina, and Fumikage all nodded then went to help the other examinees with the evacuation as Shoto froze most of the lackies in place. After he trapped the henchmen, he sent another blast of ice towards Gang Orca who countered again with his ultrasonic attack.

"Your power is nothing," Gang Orca mocked Shoto.

Shoto didn't rise to the bait as he remained calm and tried to think about his next move.

"Guess I know why he's number ten." Shoto said.

He then looked up as he felt the wind stir around him, and it wasn't like the times when the air moved around Ayumi due to her quick movements. He looked up seeing that boy from Shiketsu High had appeared.

"I'm going to blow you evildoers away!" Inasa declared as he let out a blast of wind.

The wind was strong enough to shatter Shoto's ice, which meant even if Inasa did send some of the henchmen flying…he also freed them from the ice. Ayano frowned because that seemed counterproductive. He just undid Shoto's work.

"A second villain attack," Inasa said with a large grin on his face. "Man, they really pulled out all the stops for us, didn't they?"

He then finally took note of Shoto who was frowning up at him. Both glared tensely at each other, and even without borrowing her sister's empathetic abilities, Ayano could feel the annoyance and tension between them from where she stood. She sighed having a feeling that things weren't going to go well. As Ayano remained behind in case any assistance was needed, her classmates and the other examinees at the aid station were helping the bystanders get away.

"Why don't you go help with the first aid station instead?" Shoto called back at Inasa. "Your quirk would be good for that! I'll take of him."

Didn't seem as if Inasa wanted to listen as he prepared for his own attack. Ayano frowned watching the two. They weren't working together at all. She didn't know what had gone down between them, but letting personal feelings get in the way wasn't going to help their current situation. Shoto let out a torrent of flames out at Gang Orca, who got ready, as Inasa let out a gale of wind. And as Ayano thought, both attacks cancelled each other out. She felt her brow twitch in annoyance.

"Why'd you use your flames?!" Inasa demanded. "The heat makes the air rise up!"

"Because he didn't fall to my ice earlier," Shoto retorted. "You ruined my shot on purpose, didn't you? Using your wind to blow away my fire!"

As the two continued to bicker, Ayano was having about all she could stand of it. Her shoulders were even shaking in anger at this point. She doesn't think she's felt this angry since Katsuki and her had gotten into it really bad when they were children. Izuku, who noticed the bickering, paused to look back and his eyes widened when seeing things beginning to shake and shift around Ayano as her telekinesis shook along with her anger.

"Both of you stop this NOW!" Ayano shouted with her telekinesis flying out and hitting the two.

Shoto crumbled to the ground as Inasa was knocked clean out of the air and to the ground alongside Shoto. They both grunted as they felt themselves being flattened against the ground. The pressure increased as Ayano walked forward with a livid expression on her face.

"You two morons are putting lives at risk!" She snapped at the two. "Innocent lives and for what?! Tell me, what is so important you'd put the lives of the bystanders we're meant to protect in danger?"

Shoto looked up at Ayano in surprise as her eyes were glowing. He's never seen them do that before. Nor has he ever seen her so angry. Inasa looked surprised as well as he looked at the angered girl.

"Hey, we're on your side!" Inasa told her.

"My side?" Ayano scoffed then raised her hand to form a wall.

A wall that blocked the cement projectiles the henchmen sent her way. They hit the wall and splattered harmlessly away from her.

"What a joke." Ayano said as she tried to calm down. "You're being a threat to the civilians just as much as these villains, and as an aspiring hero I won't allow you to get away with that!"

Inasa stiffened as Ayano's words rung loudly through his head. It was the same for Shoto who clenched his eyes closely together in shame.

"Until you two get your shit together, stay the hell out of the way." Ayano said. "I'd rather fight them on my own than rely on either of you."

She then held out her hand with psionic spheres forming and being sent towards the villains. The henchmen cried out as they were hit, but Gang Orca managed to dodge as he jumped down into the air. He came right towards Ayano as he was coming down from his jump.

"Ishida!" Shoto called out in worry for his classmate.

However, he didn't have to worry as Izuku and Katsuki appeared. Both boys kicked the pro-hero in the chest to send him flying backwards. They both landed in front of Ayano.

"You get put in time out, Icy-Hot?" Katsuki asked mockingly as he stood straight. "Talk about pathetic."

"Yeah, what are you two doing?!" Izuku demanded to know.

Neither boy answered, but they felt the pressure of Ayano's telekinetic hold leave them.

"Let's forget about them for now." Ayano said. "You two should be able to go all out here in a second. They won't be able to follow the civilians here in a second."

As some looked confused at her words, a large spiraling dome of paper appeared and whirled around Ayano, the boys, and the villains. Outside of it, Konan stood there while giving Ayumi a thumbs up. Ayumi grinned then used her speed to slip through the paper blizzard.

"What's going on?" One of the henchmen asked. "Who's causing this?"

Another gasped as he could have sworn, he felt something brush passed him. Gang Orca frowned watching as the boy he had taken down earlier was suddenly lifted and then gone in the blink of an eye.

'They removed the injured out of the way and are blocking the bystanders from our view.' Gang Orca thought. 'Good. At least some of them seem to be actually taking this seriously.'

Once Ayumi was gone with Yo and Mashirao and his group had the civilians out of the way, Konan withdrew while taking her paper blizzard with her. Once it dispersed, the only ones left in the area were Ayano, Katsuki, Izuku, Shoto, Inasa, and the villains.

"Wait, where did all those people go?" A henchman asked.

"Yeah, how'd they get them out of here so quickly?" Another added.

Ayano just smirked as she made sure to step back out of the way. Katsuki had a grin on his face realizing it was time to let loose as his hands sparked with small explosions.

"Oh yeah, this is more my pace." He said as he put his arms out behind him. "Forget about saving dumb bystanders!"

He then sent himself forward to take on Gang Orca directly as Izuku rushed the henchmen. Both boys started fighting as Ayano took a moment to check in with the others.

'How are things going on your end, Yao-Momo?' Ayano questioned the taller girl.

As Ayano and the boys worked together, Shoto and Inasa watched as they stewed in their thoughts. Both looked troubled and as they thought about what Ayano said, they knew they had really messed up. Shoto allowed his lingering hate for his father consume him that he put others in danger. Inasa let his anger make him into the very kind of person he hates. If Ayano hadn't stepped forward when she did, neither boy wanted to think about what might have happened. They both looked up and watched as Gang Orca managed to get around Katsuki to head right towards Ayano.

"I'll put an end to your communications!" Gang Orca said as he reached for her.

Ayano readied for impact while not ready to counter, but before Gang Orca could even touch her, Katsuki who used his explosions to propel himself forward, snatched her up into his arms. He was still in the air with her in his hold as Shoto and Inasa made moves on their own. Combining Shoto's fire and Inasa's wind the two created a fire tornado to trap Gang Orca.

"Oh no! Boss!" The henchmen cried.

Katsuki landed on his feet while crouching down, so to set Ayano down on the ground.

"You okay?" He asked.

"I'm fine," Ayano assured him.

Katsuki nodded his head then turned his head back to frown at the fire tornado that kept him from getting to fight Gang Orca.

"Stupid Icy-Hot getting in the way," He grumbled as he stood up. "Leaving me with the henchmen."

He scoffed at the entire thing as Ayano, who stood up as well, rolled her eyes.

"Keep your guard up," Katsuki told Ayano before he went back to fighting.

"Obviously," Ayano said with a small frown.

That was a pretty stupid move on her part. Letting Gang Orca get so close, but things worked out in the end and she was still in contact with everyone. It seemed the new aid station was up and going and the bystanders were being cared for. That was good. All they had to do now was take care of the villains and find any more bystanders who might be trapped throughout the arena. Though Ayano didn't know if that was really what the committee wanted them to do concerning the villains. Did they want them to take down Gang Orca? The henchmen shouldn't be too much trouble, but Gang Orca is part of the top ten heroes in Japan. Seemed a bit much for trainees to do.

'Ishida, we're sending a few people back your way.' Tenya told the girl through the link. 'How are things going for you now?'

'Todoroki-kun and Yoarashi-kun are holding back Gang Orca.' Ayano replied. 'Katsuki and Izuku are handling the henchmen alright, but no one has really gone down for the count. I guess you could say we're at a stalemate.'

'I sent Inasa there to handle things, but there are still enemies to fight?' Mora asked sounding annoyed. 'That simply won't do.'

Ayano couldn't disagree there, but kept her opinion to herself. She then waved her hand to send a few henchmen flying backwards when they tried to escape Katsuki and Izuku.

"Gang Orca said we underestimated you." Ayano said. "That's true. However, you all seemed to have underestimated us as well. That was your mistake. Sorry, villains, but I believe you are about to be bested by these wannabe heroes."

As soon as the words left her mouth, the reinforcements arrived. Mashirao, Mina, Fumikage, and Hachiro all returned for the fight and easily knocked down some of the henchmen.

"Nice move," Izuku complimented Mashirao.

"Okay, the injured have all been evacuated." Mashirao said. "And more reinforcements should be arriving soon."

"About time, idiots!" Katsuki snapped as he took down another henchman.

He then turned about to fire at another who got too close, but he was snagged by Hachiro's web. The boy sent him flying by slinging the web before he summersaulted away from another villain.

"Using my webs left-handed only is beginning to be a bit of a pain." Hachiro confessed as he had to punch a villain with his right hand. "But I guess there's no point in whining about it, huh?"

He said this with a grin as Katsuki rolled his eyes. As Katsuki went back to fighting, Mina and Fumikage went running by and took down some villains of their own. Some villains then tried to get behind Hachiro, but were stopped by Tsuyu who suddenly became visible against the rocks.

"Asui—I mean, Tsu!" Izuku exclaimed. "When did you sneak over here?"

"I've been training my frog skills, and have finally reached a new level control—camouflage." Tsuyu explained. "That's my new special move."

"Wow, Asui, are you done with the search and rescue already?" Mashirao asked.

"For the most part," Tsuyu said. "Ayano should be able to tell you better than I can."

Said girl was currently having a mental conversation with Momo about how things were going as the fighting happened around them. She didn't seem too concerned with the henchmen as her friends had them taken care of, and Gang Orca was still trapped by Shoto and Inasa. Tsuyu and Mashirao then gasped as henchmen appeared on either side of them and tried to attack. However, Mashirao was saved by a large wave of hair that swept up the henchmen as a spiral of paper wrapped up the villains after Tsuyu.

"Konan!" Tsuyu exclaimed as the paper girl arrived on scene.

"It's Shiketsu." Mashirao recognized the student covered in hair.

Said student didn't look happy as he looked towards Inasa who seemed to be having trouble trapping Gang Orca.

"I sent Inasa here to help, but he has disgraced our school's name." Mora said. "There shouldn't be any enemies left!"

He then sent out even more hair to take down even more henchmen as Mashirao watched with wide eyes.

"So strong." He said.

"Yeah," Tsuyu agreed.

"We're not done yet!" Fumikage reminded his classmates as he went after more henchmen.

He was followed by Mashirao and Tsuyu as the fighting continued to try and take down the villains. Within the fire tornado, Gang Orca uncapped a bottle of water he had been saving in his pants pocket.

"A cyclone prison of wind and fire," Gang Orca commented. "Not bad. An ordinary villain would give up and weep and beg for your mercy."

He was saying this while dumping the water over his body, so he wouldn't dry out due to the heat.

"But what would you do if your desperate trap was not enough?" Gang Orca questioned. "You must always be planning your next move."

'Oh, I am,' Ayano thought as she raised her hand with a collection of psionic orbs appearing behind the tornado where they'd be facing Gang Orca's back. 'Sir would be disappointed in me if I wasn't anticipating your next move, Gang Orca.'

She wasn't the only one at the ready as Izuku and Katsuki stood outside the tornado. They too were ready to strike at a moment's notice. Even if Gang Orca escapes the fire-wind cyclone, he won't be able to block attacks coming from three sides so suddenly after his escape. Then just as she knew he would, Gang Orca escaped the tornado with a blast from his ultrasonic waves. Shoto and Inasa grit their teeth that he managed to escape, but before they could dwell on it, Ayumi swept in to get them quickly out of the way of what was about to come.

"Trust me, boys," Ayumi said as she set them a safe distance away. "You don't want to be in the strike zone."

Inasa seemed confused as Shoto just watched closely as the most recklessly and troublemaking of his classmates went in to strike.

"Tell me, what do you plan to do now?!" Gang Orca shouted.

His answer came in the form of three attacks coming from three different sources. Gang Orca had to raise his arms to block attacks from both Katsuki, who used two explosions to fly forward, and Izuku as both tried to aim well placed kicks on either side of him.

"Midoriya, Bakugo." Gang Orca said then looked up at the orbs being sent his way. "And Ishida as well."

Though before the orbs could hit or the boys could try to counteract his block, the buzzard rang loudly throughout the arena. Ayano quickly brought her orbs to a halt just an inch away from Gang Orca as Katsuki and Izuku both jumped away from the Pro to land on their feet.

"Um, yeah, so at this time all of the H.U.C members, who were deployed, have been rescued from the disaster zone." Mera announced. "It may seem anticlimactic, but with this the provisional licensing exam has officially been completed."

Izuku seemed a bit surprised, but he relaxed while Katsuki just scoffed. Things were about to just get good in his opinion.

"After we tally the scores, we'll announce the results here in the arena." Mera said. "Anyone injured should go to the infirmary. The rest of you are free to change clothes and wait wherever you like."

Ayano, who deconstructed the orbs, let out a relieved sigh. She was glad that was over. It was getting a little intense.

"Sorry, boss." One of the henchmen told Gang Orca. "I guess we didn't do our job all that well, huh? And your restraining gear must have made it pretty hard to move."

Said gear was cracked in several places due to the attacks from Izuku and Katsuki. Both of whom were conversing with Ayano at the moment. While Izuku looked happy to be done, Katsuki seemed annoyed. Ayano just had a smile on her face as she nodded along with what Izuku was saying.

"No," Gang Orca said as he scratched at his temple. "The gear wasn't the problem. That tower of flame was an aspired attack. And with those three's surprise counter once I had been weakened…we might have had a hard time if the test had gone on. Even lost…"

He said this with a chuckle as he dropped his arm off to the side. He certainly hadn't expected to be pushed like he had been. This generation of heroes have promise. He then looked down when Ayano, who had left Katsuki and Izuku behind, walked up to him.

"Gang Orca-san," She began with a somewhat serious expression before giving a shy smile. "Can I…uh, take a picture with you…please?"

She had her phone clenched in her hands shakily as she asked. Some of Gang Orca's henchmen nearly fell over in shock at the request as that was the last thing they were expecting. The No. 10 hero himself didn't seem phased, however, as he nodded his head.

"Sure," He said.

Ayano held back a happy squeal as her favorite hero of all time agreed to take a picture with her. She waved Izuku over to help out. Her friend smiled as he took her phone, so to take a picture of her and Gang Orca standing next to each other. The pro even put his hand on her shoulder as she smiled at the camera. Izuku took a few pictures for them then handed Ayano her phone back.

"Thank you very much." Ayano said as she gave a bow to Gang Orca. "And thank you for helping us with our exam."

She was then dragged away by an annoyed Katsuki who was mumbling something about her acting like a 'Deku'…Gang Orca watched the three go. He could see why Best Jeanist took an interest in Katsuki, and why Nighteye was so invested in Ayano. The two were talented individuals especially at their age. Izuku, of course, as well. The boy has shown he's hero quality. Gang Orca was interested to see how far they go from here.

Ayano stood with her classmates as they were all tensely waiting to see what their scores were and if they managed to pass. Ayano would like to say she wasn't worried, but she'd be lying if she did.

"Okay, everyone," Mera addressed. "Thanks for your hard work in today's exam. Now before I announce the results, I should probably explain the way we evaluated you. Between H.U.C. and those of us at the Hero Public Safety Commission we had a two-fault demerit system that we used to determine your total scores. In other words, we were evaluating you based on how few mistakes you made during the process situation. Anyway, the names of those who passed are listed here in alphabetical order."

He raised his arm up and behind him the screen lit up to show the names of those who passed.

"Keep my words in mind as you search the screen for your name." Mera told them.

Ayano started looking for her name quickly as she immediately shifted her focus to the 'I's. She went down a few names before she finally found it…her name.

'I…I passed!' She thought with a large grin spreading across her face.

Coco: Well, that was fun, wasn't it? The kiddies have finished their exam and our sweet psychic bean has passed! Can we say the same for her boyfriend? Did I pass him or did he still fail despite showing up to kick ass and take names? These are the questions that need to be answered. XD But anyway, before we close up this chapter, I have another bonus request for you all to read.

Again, if you have a request, don't be afraid to ask. Or maybe you'd just like more details about our favorite OCs of this story. I know I did some profile information about them before in previous chapters, but maybe you'd like to get to know them more with more detailed explanations about their lives outside of class and hero work. And maybe even the process that went along with creating them. Or maybe you'd like to see little snippets of them during their daily lives as I know they don't get as much time and attention as our leading lady. Just let me know about it in a review or message me :D

!Chapter Bonus!

Ayano let out a happy laugh as she stood on her tip toes to look over the railing on the boat they were on. As a treat to her, Katsuki, and Izuku for graduating kindergarten, Inko and Mitsuki took them to go whale watching. Masaru and Ko couldn't make it because of work, but Ayano wasn't really missing them right now as she watched another whale come up out of the water and blow the sea water from its spout. Izuku was looking on in awe beside her. Even Katsuki seemed to be enjoying himself.

"Look at that one!" Izuku pointed towards the black-and-white orca breaching next to the boat. "It's so close!"

Said killer whale lifted up out of the water partially and came splashing down, which sent water over the railing of the ship. Ayano and the boys were soaked by the sudden gush of water, but instead of being upset they laughed. Inko and Mitsuki smiled at the sight as it was nice to see the three getting along for once. Ayano leaned up over the railing as much as she could once more and smiled down at the whale who had splashed them.

It seemed to look back at her as well as she watched it swim along with its pod. Ayano had never had so much fun before, and didn't want this day to end as she continued whale watching with Katsuki and Izuku.

.

.

.

Ayano grinned at the pictures she had with Gang Orca as they were all riding the bus back to school. She can't believe she had gotten lucky to take a picture with him let alone more than one.

"Will you stop making that face, ya whale-loving-weirdo?" Katsuki asked irritably as he was leaning against her with his head on her shoulder.

Ayano shot Katsuki a look though she did put away her phone into her bag. She couldn't help it. Ever since they were kids, she loved whales, so when Gang Orca became a pro and started making news…well, he quickly became her favorite hero as silly as it may sound. She even had a Gang Orca plushie hidden in her closet. She didn't really see herself as a fangirl. She never really gushed over heroes like Izuku did, but Gang Orca was a bit of an exception.

.

.

.

Sorry, I know it was short XD I just thought showing something like that from their childhood and then the following scene would explain why Ayano was a fan of Gang Orca…Honestly, I might have just projected my love for the pro hero onto her…but eh, she can love him too XD Besides, I saw the opportunity to show some love to my favorite minor character and I took to it…and no regrets XD

Well, as always, I hope you enjoyed the chapter. It won't be long until we're in season four. Maybe I'll finish it before season 5 comes out, huh? I might actually catch up to the anime. If so, I might start writing from the manga as I'm also caught up in it, but we'll see.

Next chapter, we'll have a little celebrating for those who did pass, and some drama between our favorite broccoli boy and his archnemesis explosion boy XD How is Ayano going to handle this fight? The boys have never taken things so far, so how will Ayano react to this fated fight between these childhood rivals? Tune in next time to find out! XD Bye, guys~
