Coco: Hey, guys, I'm back. Sorry the last chapter was so buggy. Apparently, a lot of writers were having the same problem, but I think chapter 71 is up like it should be now. Hope this chapter is a freaking repeat. If things do continue to be so buggy, I might take this story to another site and post it there as well along with the other stories I work most frequently on. But hopefully, something like that won't happen again.

Now, for more exciting news...This is the end of Season 3, guys! We've finally made it. Next chapter will go into Season 4, which is going to be such an emotional roller coaster. We'll learn more about Nigheye's vision and why Hive is so dangerous and why Ayano's sisters are a key element to it all. The true cause to their separation. Not to mention the rest of the emotional shit that already goes on in Season 4 that I'm not really ready for...not at all...but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it, right? Right!

As usual, I hope you guys enjoy the chapter, so now let's get to it, shall we?

As Ayano's day of house arrest was near its end, said psychic was in the kitchen in the dormitory. She was humming along with the music she had playing as she was making dinner for everyone. Dinner wasn't really her chore for the night, but since she had so much free time today, she decided to go ahead and make it for everyone. While she did the cooking for the night, Katsuki and Izuku were doing some more cleaning and preparing to take trash out and wash the dishes Ayano was starting to pile up. Ayano looked up from her task when she heard her classmates' minds as they neared.

"Welcome home, everyone." She called from the kitchen as she poked her head out while her classmates were coming inside.

There were some tired replies from a few of them as they trudged towards the living room area of the common space.

"Hey, Ishida," Hanta greeted then caught a whiff in the air. "Hmm, something smells good."

"Oh, I'm making dinner." Ayano, who stepped fully out of the kitchen, said with a small smile. "I know it wasn't my night too, but I just thought you all would be tired from the first day of classes. That and I had a lot of time on my hands."

Her classmates blinked at her slightly messy appearance as there seemed to be more ingredients on her than her apron. Though it was pretty covered too. She noticed their looks and chuckled sheepishly.

"I might have gotten a bit carried away," She admitted. "I made a variety of dishes since I know some of us have certain preferences."

At her words, Hanta, Minoru, Mina, and Toru peeked into the kitchen. Their eyes widened at the amount of food. There was different style of noodles, grilled fish, some meat dishes, rice, etc. all out on the counter space. And there still seemed to be a few things cooking.

"Dang, girl, you really have been busy." Mina said.

"Allow me to assist you with anything you have left." Fumikage said as he walked into the kitchen. "I was slotted to help make dinner tonight in the first place."

Ayano thanked him as she could use some help since she might have bit off more than she can chew.

"Me too." Kyoka said as she joined them. "It's the least we can do since you've troubled yourself so much."

"It's no trouble." Ayano assured. "It's nice getting to cook for others. Though I always seem to make a mess."

She said this with another sheepish chuckle that had Kyoka smiling in amusement.

"That's an understatement." Katsuki scoffed as he walked into the kitchen. "Have you cut off any of your fingers yet?"

Ayano shot the blonde a look as he moved over to the sink to get started on the dishes already waiting on him. Ayano, Fumikage, and Kyoka then all worked together to get the rest of dinner ready as Izuku was asking everyone to get their trash together and he'd take it out. Though many weren't in a rush to do that. Quite a few of their classmates were laid out in the living room. Some were gathered in groups discussing the days events. Mostly like what happened in class. Even Kyoka and Fumikage spoke together about them.

"About those work studies," Kyoka began. "I wasn't scouted, so I wonder if I'll get to participate."

"Aizawa-sensei said it would be harder to be able to join a work study without having been scouted, but he didn't say it was impossible." Fumikage replied.

Kyoka hummed supposing that was true. Ayano blinked at them as she was now very interested in their conversation. Katsuki was too as he was looking over his shoulder towards the pair.

"I didn't mind interning with Death Arms, but I'm not sure if I want to go back there," Kyoka admitted. "What about you? You interned with Hawks, right?"

"Yes," Fumikage said. "If he would offer me a place at his agency once more, I do believe I would take it. Though things move a bit too fast there."

Kyoka seemed a bit confused by his last statement, but before she could ask, Tenya's voice cut through very loudly from the main room.

"The teachers have forbidden us from giving you any details about our classes!" Tenya said.

Ayano figured he was speaking directly to Izuku, but also making sure she and Katsuki heard him as well.

"Sorry, but you'll just have to experience the same shock and surprise we went through." Tenya continued sternly. "Did you catch that, Bakugo, Ishida?!"

"Shut your mouth! I heard you, Four Eyes!" Katsuki shouted from the sink as Ayano called back, "Yes, very clear, Class Rep."

Tenya sighed shaking his head before he went to clean up and change out of his school uniform before dinner. After he was gone, Ayano turned towards Kyoka and Fumikage.

"So, you guys are already talking about work studies, huh?" Ayano commented. "Togata-senpai said we might not get to discuss those until we're second years, but we did receive our provisional licenses much earlier than other students. Which had me thinking work studies might come up earlier too."

Kyoka seemed a bit surprised that Ayano already knew about work studies. Katsuki huffed in annoyance not surprised she knew, but irritated that she knew and he didn't.

"Ah, yes, at your internship one of our upperclassmen was there with you," Fumikage remembered. "I take it he explained the work study program to you then."

Ayano nodded her head as she moved some more food onto a serving plate and off the stove. They were almost done with dinner now and with Kyoka and Fumikage's help, it'll be done even sooner than she had expected to finish.

"Yes, Sir has already told me I could return once we were permitted to do them." Ayano said.

"Lucky," Kyoka said with a sigh. "You already have a spot ready for you and we're just finding all this stuff out now."

"It's probably the same for, Ko-Toshi." Ayano commented. "She worked with Amajiki-senpai during her internship, and she's mentioned Fatgum-san keeping in touch with her as well."

Kyoka wanted to heave another sigh because she doubted, she'd be able to get a work study so easily.

"I'm sure things will work out, Jiro-chan," Ayano assured her. "You just have to stay positive."

The girls and Fumikage then continued work in a comfortable silence until dinner was finally finished. As Kyoka and Fumikage set the food out where everyone could grab what they wanted, Ayano connected her mind to everyone.

'Everyone, dinner is ready,' She told them. 'Please, wash up and come and eat before it's cold.'

'Okay!' Almost everyone replied back.

Soon everyone was arriving for dinner, and Ayano smiled as she watched everyone sit and chat together over their meal. It was nice to have everyone together and enjoying everyone's company. Dorm life was an interesting start, but she was really starting to like it.

The next few days passed in a blur for Ayano, and soon Izuku was back in class with her and everyone else. Now they only had to wait one more day until Katsuki joined them as well. She almost wanted to snort at how much the blonde had been pouting when she left the dorm with Izuku this morning.

"Guys, I'm sorry for all the trouble I caused!" Izuku shouted as soon as he stepped through the door that morning.

Ayano slightly shook her head at his…enthusiasm as Ochaco sent him a bright smile.

"No sweat, Deku!" She assured him. "Thanks for your hard work!"

"All he did was vacuum." Kyoka pointed out then frowned. "And what's with those steam nostrils?"

Izuku moved his focus onto Tenya next as Ayano was just calmly getting ready for the day.

"Class Rep Iida, I'm sorry I disappointed you!" Izuku apologized.

Tenya seemed a bit stumped for a moment by Izuku's fervent apology, but soon nodded approvingly as he raised his fist.

"Right, well, I'm glad you learned from your mistakes." He said. "Follow the rules from now on."

"I'll catch up with everything I fell behind on these past three days!" Izuku declared.

"That's the fighting spirit." Eijiro encouraged. "Do it, man!"

Izuku nodded his head rapidly while lifting his fist up in determination, and completely unaware that Aizawa entered the room and was standing right behind him. As their teacher shut the door behind him—Izuku still having no idea he was there—Ayano blinked as she heard a group of familiar minds just outside their room.

'Togata-senpai,' She heard his thoughts. 'And he's with Hado-senpai and Amajiki-senpai as well.'

Before she could try to see what possibly could have brought them to their class, Aizawa spoke up and finally made his presence known.

"Time to take your seats, everyone," Aizawa said.

Izuku's fighting spirit diminished quickly after that as he practically ran over to his seat behind Ayano. Said girl gave him an amused smile that had him blushing slightly in embarrassment.

"Morning," Aizawa greeted his students. "Now that Midoriya is back we'll go into more detail about what the work studies entail. Go ahead and come in."

Aizawa turned towards the door with his students looking over as well as the door was opening. Mirio walked in first with Nejire behind him and then Tamaki bringing up the end. At the sight of him, Konan tilted her head curiously.

"I'll have people who've experienced them firsthand explain," Aizawa told the class. "I suggest you listen carefully as they point out how work studies differ from internships. These three are third years at U.A. They rank at the very top of our student body. You may know them as the Big Three."

Many of Ayano's classmates started murmuring together as they took their first look at the famous Big Three of U.A. High. Mirio sent Ayano a smile when he spotted her from the corner of his eye.

'Surprised?' He asked her mentally. 'I was trying to be super quiet out there, so you wouldn't hear me.'

'I heard you as soon as Aizawa-sensei entered the classroom,' Ayano informed him. 'Just because you think softly doesn't meant I hear you any less.'

Mirio's lips twitched up a bit more due to his amusement, but kept his attention more so directed at the entire class.

"Get to it," Aizawa told the upperclassmen. "Introduce yourselves briefly. Let's start with Amajiki."

Konan frowned in concern as all eyes turned to Tamaki. Something she was sure going to make the older teen uncomfortable. Tamaki didn't look thrilled to go first, but he did lift his head and Konan and Ayano both were a bit surprised to see how penetratingly he was starting at them. In fact, the other students were kind of intimidated by the intensity in his eyes. Though it didn't last long as he soon turned pale.

"It's no good," He said as he started shaking. "You two go. I just can't. Even if I try to imagine them as potatoes, I can still see their human bodies. I know that they're still people. No words are coming out. My minds blank, and my mouth is dry. I can't say anything. I wanna…go home."

He turned around to put his face against the wall as he said this, and many of the first years sweat-dropped at the sight. Konan sighed feeling bad for the boy. She kind of wanted to get up and check on him, but was pretty sure Aizawa wouldn't appreciate her leaving her seat.

"Okay, so, um are you really one of U.A's top heroes?" Mashirao asked.

"Amajiki-senpai is a wonderful hero," Konan spoke in his defense. "I have been lucky enough to see him fight in action. I know he is worthy of his title."

Ayano nodded because she believed so as well. Tamaki shuffled even closer to the wall due to Konan's praise as if he wanted the solid surface to swallow him up.

"Your words of praise are too much." Tamaki said. "I feel like they are crushing me like a heavy weight."

As most of Class 1-A sat there unsure of how to respond to his words, Nejire let out a small laugh.

"Come on, Amajiki." Nejire said as she prodded him. "You need to have the heart of a lion not a kitten. You know, even though you're human. Get what I mean?"

Tamaki didn't reply and it didn't seem as if Nejire was expecting him too as she turned back towards the first years.

"This is our kitten—Amajiki Tamaki." She introduced the ravenette then pointed to herself. "And, hi. My name is Hado Nejire. I'm supposed to talk about work studies. You first years have a really exciting time ahead of you—Hey, wait, hold on."

And just like Nejire was off track as her attention fell on Mezo. She moved towards his desk as she looked closely at him.

"Why are you wearing a mask? Is it because you're feeling sick? Or just trying to look cool?" She said but never gave Mezo time to reply as her attention shifted once more. "Oh, wow! And you must be Todoroki, am I right? Yeah! How'd you get that big burn on your face?"

Shoto was a bit surprised by her blunt question, and went to politely tell her it wasn't her business. However, Nejire soon forgot about him as her eyes fell on Mina.

"And, Ashido, if your horns break off, do you think you'll grow new ones?" Nejire asked with Aizawa becoming more annoyed in the background. "Oh, and can you wiggle them?—Mineta, are those balls your hair or what? I don't get it. How do you get a haircut?"

Ayano and Konan exchanged a glance from their seats. As the only two from their class who have been introduced to Nejire before, they were kind of expecting this. Even still they sighed while shaking their heads.

"Hey, hey, Jinsoku, how far do you think you can run before you can't anymore?" Nejire was going on. "And do you ever literally run out of your shoes?"

Ayumi scratched the back of her head as she wondered what was up with this girl. Though she actually has ran out of her shoes. Or rather she's burned right through them due to the high friction caused by her running. Not that she'd get the chance to explain that since Nejire was already moving on to the next person who caught her eye.

"Oh, oh, Asui, you're a tree frog not a gross toad, right?" Nejire asked the petite girl. "Oh! Speaking of creepy crawlies, Nida, exactly what kind of spider are you? Do you have fangs? Are you poisonous? Oh, my goodness, there's so much I wanna know about every one of you. Let's have a Q&A."

As her mouth finally seemed to stop for more than two seconds, Ayano's classmates tried to catch up to what happened. Many were amused by Nejire's somewhat childlike personality. Some even smiling or chuckling in amusement. One person, however, wasn't thinking nice, innocent thoughts about the girl in front of them.

"She wants to know everything about my balls," Minoru said shamelessly as he drooled. "I'll spill my secrets. Come and get them close and personal."

Then as everyone expected, Minoru was soon feeling the pain as Ayano lifted him from his seat and threw him hard into the wall at the front of the class a split second later. No one—not even Aizawa—not even their guests—blinked as Minoru slid off the wall with a small indent left behind from where he had made impact.

Ayano has tried to be more lenient with the boy. She has tried to overlook his thoughts at the very least as he is a teenage boy after all and many teenage boys have such…thoughts and desires at their age. However, she couldn't ignore or look over him when he said such things out loud as he was making many very, very uncomfortable. Herself being on of those people.

Ayano forgot about him for a moment as Mirio took over from Nejire as Aizawa looked ready to kill someone. Ayano watched curiously as Mirio went to stand behind the podium. She wondered what he had planned to say. Knowing him it was going to be something…interesting.

"The future's gonna be…!" He trailed off as if waiting for them to finish his sentence.

He even put his hand against his ear and leaned over the podium. Obviously waiting for them to call something back. Ayano sighed. Yep, she knew he'd do something like this.

"…Gonna be what?" Denki finally asked and slightly bursting Mirio's bubble.

But he soon bounced back as his usually big smile returned his face in an instant.

"Awful! That's your part, guys!" He replied then laughed as he stood straight once more. "Ah, crap! My call-and-response was a total fail!"

By this point, none of Ayano's classmates seemed to be taking their upperclassmen seriously. In fact, they were all murmuring together wondering what was up with Mirio and his friends. Ayano honestly couldn't blame them. Ayano took Mirio more seriously after she saw him in action. Seeing how amazing he was and how much hard work he did to help her and showing her what he did to better himself…that's how Ayano understood the importance behind the work studies. She then blinked as she got an idea.

"Um, Togata-senpai, perhaps a more…hands on approach would be better?" Ayano suggested. "And logical as speaking doesn't seem to be going very well."

As her classmates wondered what Ayano meant by that, Mirio smiled as he was following her line of thought. Tamaki seemed to understand as well as he turned towards his friend.

"That probably isn't the best idea." Tamaki said.

Of course, Mirio was already set on it if his excited grin was anything to go by.

"Yeah, that could work," Mirio said with a nod. "Okay then, listen up! The rad new plan is all you first years fight me at once!"

It took a moment before his words to computed, but when they did, many in the class gasped.

"You wanna fight us?" Eijiro asked.

"What? Like now?" Hanta inquired.

Mirio nodded his head while turning to look at Aizawa who had been watching silently.

"Well, if you want them to experience our experience, this is a pretty rational way of doing it then." Mirio said to their homeroom teacher. "Right, Eraser Head? Rational."

"Do whatever you want." Aizawa said.

"Awesome!" Mirio said. "Now, let's go, first years. Get into those P.E. uniforms and meet me at the T.D.L!"

Mirio started walking out of the room after that with many of the first years being unsure. Though Ayano was quick to get to her feet and follow after Mirio, Nejire, and Tamaki. She fell into step with the taller teen who looked down at her.

"Eager to get started?" He asked.

"I don't think I'll be fighting you," Ayano said with a small grin. "After all, I know your quirk and have gone through the initial beating. I'd rather not go through that again. Not to mention, I get enough bruises during training, so I'll pass."

Mirio laughed patting her on the head, which had her frowning and shoving his hand away to try and fix her hair.

"So, have you spoken with Sir?" Mirio asked.

"Yeah," Ayano replied. "He said as soon as the school clears it, he's expecting me back. Something about having something waiting for me to look at as soon as I arrive."

Mirio nodded his head as he was already aware of the situation going on at Sir's agency. The ongoing investigation.

"I'd say the teachers will clear it soon." Tamaki said as he kept his eyes down. "Otherwise, why would they have us talk to you? Besides, Fatgum has been asking about Kurafutoshi. He's inspecting her back too."

"He is?" Konan, who seemed to appear out of nowhere, asked.

Tamaki jumped at her sudden appearance and looked really shaken. Konan apologized as Ayano looked back to see everyone was following now.

"Oh, by the way, Ishida, I wanted to ask you about that problem child with the green hair." Mirio said.

Ayano looked up at Mirio in confusion. Of course, she knew he was asking about Izuku, but she didn't understand why. Did Izuku catch his attention?

Ayano stood in between Shoto and Aizawa on the sidelines as the others faced Mirio. Konan was amongst them as she hasn't ever fought against Mirio. She met him briefly through Tamaki as she had Nejire, but that was about it. She was interested to see how he fought, and she was probably the only one who knew not to underestimate him even if Class 1-A did have the numbers.

"Ishida, you've trained with him before, right?" Shoto asked.

Ayano nodded her head as she watched Mirio stretch out and get ready to fight.

"Do you really think he can take all twenty-one of our classmates?" Shoto inquired.

"Without a doubt," Ayano said without hesitation. "I know our class has gone through a lot as first years, but…we don't compare to any of the Big Three. Even after training with him for months now, I've never been able to beat him. Don't know if I'll be beating him anytime soon either. He'll have them all down in sixty seconds if not less."

Shoto's eyes widened in surprise as he looked back over to Mirio as he and their classmates were getting ready after a few words were exchanged.

"Just what kind of quirk must he have to be that powerful?" Shoto asked.

"It's not his quirk that makes him one of the top three in our school." Ayano said as Izuku launched himself forward. "In fact, if someone else had it, they might call it a curse."

Shoto didn't get to ask what she meant as he was soon distracted by the fact that all of Mirio's clothes were falling off. It was something he and all his classmates—beside Ayano—were shocked about.

"He really should have worn his costume instead." Ayano sighed as Kyoka gave a shrill scream.

Mirio quickly tried to pull his pants back on as he was apologizing to the first years. Izuku, who had faltered for a moment, quickly recovered as he swung his foot at Mirio's face. Though it went right through the third year. Izuku landed on the ground and looked back in shock as Mirio, who had managed to get his pants back on, turned to look at Izuku in return.

"Went for the face, huh?" He asked casually as Yuga, Hanta, and Mina's attacks went right through him as well.

Izuku had to dodge to the side to avoid getting blasted himself as Tenya watched with wide eyes.

"What's this?" Tenya asked as the smoke started clearing. "Where'd he go?"

Mirio, who had used his quirk to fall through the floor, reappeared behind Kyoka. And once again he had lost his pants.

"I think I'll start by taking out the long distant fighters." Mirio decided.

His voice had Kyoka turning, which led to her screaming once more when she caught sight of more than she wanted of Mirio. As Ayano's classmates scrambled to try and subdue Mirio, the blonde was quick to start taking out her classmates who specialized in long-range attacks. Fumikage was the first to become his victim, but the other long distant fighters soon followed suit. Dropping like flies.

"Poowerrr!" Mirio, who managed to get his pants back on, shouted after finishing off all the long-range fighters.

Ayano's classmates looked at him in shock as they tried to wrap their minds around what was happening. On the sidelines, Ayano's mouth turned up slightly at the corners. Mirio was doing well. Though that was to be expected. Still he's using one attack to take them down without having to cause too much damage. He's actually showing more control than usual. Whenever they fought, Ayano left with multiple new bruises if he was fighting seriously enough.

"Togata Mirio." Aizawa said. "In my opinion, he's the person who's closest of taking the spot of No. 1 Hero. That's including the Pros."

"Senpai is so amazing," Ayano said half in admiration while the other half in annoyance. "I don't know if I can ever be that great."

She said this with a slight pout as Shoto just took in the damage Mirio had left in his wake.

"He took out over half of them in an instant," Shoto said. "A student…but closer to being No. 1 than most heroes."

"You're not going to fight?" Aizawa asked Shoto. "You must be interested in taking the top spot yourself."

"I didn't even get my provisional license though." Shoto pointed out.

Aizawa seemed a bit surprised by Shoto's words as he looked away from his students who stood on the sides with him. Ayano continued to watch the fight as Mirio turned to face the rest of the class. The others seemed a bit unsure about what to do next as they marveled at Mirio's ability. Ayano could see they weren't seeing Mirio's skills for what they were. Treating his quirk like it was some kind of gift. Like it was the reason why he was so good.

'They don't realize just how much work he's put into honing his abilities,' Ayano thought as Izuku tried to get the others to calm down and focus.

Izuku's words got the others to calm down as they turned to face Mirio who charged forward. Mirio slipped under the floor and Ayano knew he'd go for Izuku first. And just like she knew, Izuku was ready for him. However, even as Izuku tried to counter Mirio's surprise attack, Mirio knew how to counter back. Soon Izuku fell to the ground and the rest followed quickly after, which, of course, left Mirio the winner.

'As expected,' Ayano thought as Mirio was shouting 'power' all over again. 'He won without breaking a sweat. If I want to reach his level…I have to work even harder. Which is why I hope the teachers allow us to do work studies. I have to keep moving forward.'

Coco: And that is the end of season 3, everyone! I know I kind of left off a bit of the last episode, but I felt like this was the right place to stop at. I hope you all enjoyed season 3 and are ready for season 4. I am ready myself, but at the same time, I'm not. But it's coming either way.

Moving on, this chapter's bonus is a request by a Guest reviewer, I believe. I hope I'm remembering that right. Probably should keep my notes close by next time. Anyway, this request was for a little snippet of Nighteye being with All Might, Etsudo, and Giichi. When I first started writing it, I kind of was thinking of pulling from the scene in the Incredibles where Buddy was trying to be Incrediboy and Mr. Incredible was getting like super annoyed with him while Etsudo and Giichi by like the cops from that scene. But I ended up taking a different route XD But hope you like it. Next bonus will be a ShotoXAyumi moment. And remember that if you want to request a bonus yourself, just leave it in a review or PM me. It's that easy, and I will get to it based on who puts in their request first and so on.

All Might sighed standing before his friends as they were looking between him and the young green-haired boy. He seemed to be in middle school if not a little older and he was currently covered in a few scraps. Probably due to the fact he was pulled out of that burning building All Might had arrived to deal with. Etsudo and Giichi arrived to aid their old friend, but he had it pretty much handled, which left them to this kid who was sticking to All Might's side like glue.

"Um…Toshi," Etsudo began but paused unsure how to continue.

"Who the hell is the brat?" Giichi picked up where Etsudo trailed off.

The ginger-haired woman smacked Giichi's arm for his bluntness, but the man didn't even acknowledge the abuse. His eyes remained on the boy. All Might sighed once more as he looked as if he didn't know what to say.

"I'm All Might's future sidekick," The boy replied when All Might kept quiet.

Etsudo and Giichi blinked before slowly turning to look at All Might for answers.

"I haven't agreed to take him as my sidekick!" All Might said looking exasperated. "He doesn't seem to know how to take no as an answer. I don't know what to do with him."

He gestured to the boy who looked back at him with an unimpressed expression in return. Giichi snorted crossing his arms over his chest.

"Now, now, that's no way to speak about the boy." Etsudo chided gently then turned to the boy. "What's your name, sweetheart?"

She asked this with a friendly smile, which caused the boy's stern expression to soften slightly.

"Sasaki…Sasaki Mirai." He replied.

Etsudo smiled glad that they at least had a name now, and soon started speaking with Mirai. As the two conversed, Giichi nudged All Might with his elbow.

"You know what this means, right?" Giichi asked the taller man.

All Might looked down at Giichi with a look of confusion on his face as he shook his head.

"You're stuck with that brat now." Giichi said. "She's already grown attached."

All Might blinked then turned his head back to Etsudo as she was speaking animatedly with Mirai at this point. As he saw how his friend smiled gently at the boy and nodded along with what he was saying, All Might paled.

"Oh crap," He said as he placed his hand against his forehead.

And that is the end of that. As always, guys, stay safe out there and I'll be seeing you in the next chapter~ Tootles~
