Coco: Hello, hello, my friends~ Good to be with you all again. This chapter came a lot easier to write as I got to kind of get off the really serious storyline from last chapter and got to write about my favorite group of heroes which are Fatgum and his little interns XD
Anyway, there was just a few things I wanted to talk about before starting this chapter. I know there have been questions about showing what is going on with Doctorine. But things haven't really changed with her. She's still being held against her will with her quirk being used on the Nomu. Things might change closer to the end of season 4, but as of right now I'm not really going to revisit her as things aren't going any different with her.
When it comes time for that change to happen, I will definitely move the attention back to her. Might have like her own chapter detailing what happened, her escaping, and her warning her fellow heroes. Maybe a few snaps of the past of her time at U.A. and Ko and Oboro who both were turned into Nomu. We'll see.
Another thing is concerning my other MHA story. I put it on hold because I was going to change a few small things, but…well, you know me, things are never that simple XD So, I'm actually rewriting it…again and wanted your opinions. I know a major complaint in this story was the number of OCs I added. And I wanted to keep the count in Santana's story down low. However, I also wanted to make sure there's enough student OCs where any team ups or group exercises were all even since I'm like OCD about that kind of stuff. But in doing so, it creates a lot of OCs.
Then I thought since Santana is moving from America, kind of is a special case about joining the hero course that I might have her move in after the term starts. Maybe not to far into the term since I definitely want her there before the Sports Festival. Maybe before the USJ incident, but I'm not too worried about that one. So, Class A would only have 21 students as she transferred in.
However, I also had this whole like Suicide Squad thing going on in my head. Like, all my student ocs were based off of members of the Suicide Squad and kind of like the delinquents of their year whether they want to be or not. Santana is based off Chato Santana primarily who is known as El Diablo who can control fire and produce fire, but she's also a mix of Hellboy (with her new updated appearance) and a little Ghost Rider. Then I was going to have a character based off of Harley Quinn and she wants to be a hero but her quirk madness is a double edge sword that also causes her fits of insanity so people don't see her being a hero. And I had two others I wanted to add with similar problems and backgrounds and were like the misfits of the school and they be like Santana's friend group. But I thought maybe I might reduce that number to like two characters not including Santana and maybe these two characters not being part of the hero course and just a few students she befriends who understand her more than her new classmates. And they like help her adjust more to the new role she's been given to play.
Sorry, I'm like ranting…my apologies XD But the reason why I'm telling you all this is because I will be putting up a poll to see what you guys think I should do. The options are:
Keep Santana and the three other hero course students I originally planned on
Have Santana transfer after the term starts and have her as my only student oc
Have Santana transfer after the term starts, but add my two misfit ocs from the other courses (like maybe general or support or even business) to be her friends and help her adjust
The following day Ayano got up early for some extra training. Her thoughts still buzzing wildly. Not only about her dream but of Eri and what Kai must be doing to her. Ayano wanted to save her, and waiting for Nighteye to call her and the boys back in was driving her mad. Hence the decision to train to distract herself.
"I might focus on my telepathy today." Ayano said to herself as she stepped out of the elevator. "But to do that I need people to use my telepathy on…"
She trailed off as she noticed she wasn't the only one up early this morning. Ochaco, Tsuyu, Konan, and Eijiro were up as well and seemed to be getting ready to leave.
"Oh, hey, Ayano," Ochaco greeted cheerfully when seeing the girl.
Ayano returned the greeting as the other three all told her good-morning as well.
"Are you all off to your work studies?" Ayano asked. "That must mean that things went well with Hado-senpai and Amajiki-senpai."
"Yeah!" Eijiro said with a large grin. "I can't wait to get started at Fatgum's agency today. I'm going to learn as much as I can while I can! Are you heading out for work studies too, Ishida?"
His question slightly had Ayano's smile faltering. Something he noticed, which had him feeling a bit concerned.
"Not today." Ayano said with a shake of her head. "But I hope you three have a good first day."
She said this to Ochaco, Tsuyu, and Eijiro who all thanked her. Ayano then watched them all go as she crossed her arms over her chest.
As night fell that night, Konan walked the streets with Fatgum and her fellow interns. As usual, the shops around were lit up and many people were out bustling about. Konan almost wanted to smile as Fatgum's district brought a sense of familiarity she was beginning to enjoy.
"We've got idiots fighting nonstop on the streets these days." Fatgum, who was eating Takoyaki, was explaining to Eijiro as they walked. "Can't eat enough to keep up. By the way, Crane, you following the meal plan I gave you? You do look as if you've bulked up a bit."
He glanced down at Konan who was on his other side opposite of her classmate. Said girl frowned slightly as she looked to the side.
"I wish you wouldn't phrase it like that, Fatgum-san," She said honestly. "No, girl wants to hear she's getting bulky. But to answer your question, yes, I've been following the meal plan along with the training regimen you worked up for me."
Fatgum chuckled with his almost always present grin widening in amusement.
"Sorry, Crane," Fatgum said. "I'll try to think of a different word to use. Anyway, Red Riot, the agencies around here are wanting a close combat type. You're just want the doctor ordered."
Eijiro, who was just excited to be here, grinned as he bumped his two fists together.
"I promise that I'll do my best," Eijiro said. "Fourth Kind doesn't accept work study students, so I really appreciate you taking me on."
He also appreciated that Konan put in a good word for him. He had really thought he might never find an agency to do his work studies, but she and Tamaki really helped him out.
"If only Mirio had been around," Tamaki spoke up from the back of the group. "Man, your persistence was terrifying. And when Kurafutoshi so adamantly asked me to help you out…I was too afraid to say no."
Konan sweat-dropped since he made it sound like she bullied him into helping Eijiro. She hadn't been trying to do something like that. She just wanted to help out her classmate. Especially since he had helped her before she had gone into her internship with Fatgum.
"We're going to work on those delicate nerves of yours, Tamaki." Fatgum said. "Then you'll be worth your weight in gold."
Tamaki flinched and clutched his chest as if he was in pain, which had Konan patting his arm.
"Your expectations only drag me deeper into despair," Tamaki said then covered his face with his hands. "It's always like this. I swear the man scouted me just so he could have someone to torment. I wanna go home."
As Konan tried to console the upperclassman, Eijiro gave the ravenette an encouraging smile.
"Maybe he's trying to encourage you," Eijiro said. "That's what mentors are supposed to do, right?"
Tamaki, who wasn't convinced, only frowned as he slightly lowered his hands from his face.
"I'm not like you or Mirio." Tamaki said. "Positivity is not my strong suit. I can't even cover it up like Kurafutoshi does."
Eijiro frowned in confusion at his last statement as he looked over at Konan who was focusing very strongly on Fatgum's back. Like, she was trying to avoid the conversation all together.
'Ko-Toshi…is like Amajiki-senpai?' Eijiro had to wonder before he shook his head and spoke out loud. "Hey, man, I know how it is. Sometimes when things get crazy, I feel useless too. There's a gap between me and my classmates that's only getting wider, but I'm doing my best to close that gap, so I can fight beside them."
"That right there, that's called positivity, First Year," Tamaki informed him.
Eijiro looked as if he was going to reply. However, before he could get the words out, some called out.
"They're fighting! Someone, help!"
"Ah, they're at it again," Fatgum said as he threw away the rest of his meal.
He was then on the move to intercept the group of men running down the street and causing trouble. Tamaki and Konan were right behind him as backup with Eijiro watching with wide eyes at how quick they moved.
"Not so fast!" Fatgum said as the men ran right into him.
He wrapped his arms around the men while pushing them into his body to have his fat absorption quirk restrain them quickly.
"Mr. Fat has got a little hug for ya," Fatgum said.
It seemed as if the situation was already taken care of, however, one of the crooks, who had a quirk like Edgeshot, slipped away. Konan was going to wrap him up using her quirk, but Tamaki, who was faster than her, was already on it. The tentacles he manifested quickly wrapped up the escaping crook who shouted in surprise.
"Tentacles?!" The crook shouted. "Who's this freak?!"
His words instantly brought a look of dejection onto Tamaki's face as the poor boy's shoulders sagged.
"That was just cruel." He whimpered.
"The guy's a dirtbag loser!" Eijiro reminded him. "Don't let him get to you!"
As Konan nodded in agreement, Tamaki, who pushed aside his hurt feelings, finished off the crook by hitting him a few times with a clam shell he manifested in his other hand. Once the crook was disoriented, Tamaki pinned him to the ground with a chicken foot.
"Clams are good for offense or defense," Tamaki said. "They're very handy. I try to incorporate them into my diet every day…Guess the wings overkill though…"
He looked embarrassed as he glanced at said wings since he hadn't really needed them in the fight.
"Was that okay?" Tamaki then asked. "It felt terrible."
"Are you kidding?" Eijiro asked. "You're so fast and you've got great control of your work!"
"Senpai managed to get to the criminal before me, which means I have to train harder to be just as fast," Konan added.
Tamaki only hung his head more since the praise made him want to sink into the ground and disappear.
"Yeah, our Suneater has got some serious talent." Fatgum said as the police arrived to deal with the crooks. "His mental game needs some work, but he's as strong as a pro, right?"
The gathered crowd of civilians agreed as they all cheered for the third-year student who didn't know how to respond. Though the light atmosphere was soon brought to a screeching halt as something shiny caught Fatgum's eye in the crowd. He turned his head with his eyes widening when he saw a man they hadn't noticed with the group before holding out a gun.
"He's got a gun!" Fatgum called out causing everyone to tense. "Down!"
He grabbed Konan who was closest to him to shield her with his body as the civilians all screamed and tried to flee. Konan flinched as she heard the gunshot ring out. Though she was unable to see what was going on as Fatgum had her securely pressed against him for her own protection.
"Now's your chance, man!" The shooter called out.
Fatgum let go of Konan to deal with the shooter, which finally allowed her to see Tamaki had been the one to be shot. Her eyes widened in shock before she hurried over to check on the upperclassman. Eijiro, who activated his quirk, quickly moved in front of the two to be a shield.
"Are you okay?" Eijiro asked.
"You three, get down now!" Fatgum ordered.
They didn't have the chance to, however, as the man shot another bullet. The bullet hit Eijiro's forehead, but luckily it bounced off of him since he had his quirk activated. Eijiro was quick to recover as the rest of his body hardened while he frowned at the criminal.
"That guy's mine!" Eijiro said as the criminal was freaking out about the gun not working.
Though before he ran off, Tamaki, who didn't even feel much pain, spoke up.
"I figured that would hurt more." Tamaki said as Konan was inspecting his arm.
"Suneater, you're alright!" Eijiro said. "That's great!"
Konan was relieved too since she had been really worried. Though as she looked at what had hit Tamaki, she noted it didn't look like a normal bullet at all.
'A tranquilizer dart?' She wondered as she looked at the round with a needle sticking from it.
She didn't have long to think about it, however, as Eijiro rushing after the criminal distracted her completely.
"Red Riot, please, don't just run off on your own!" She called out as she hurried to her feet and ran after him.
Fatgum called for the both of them to come back, but the two teenagers kept going, which had him sighing. This probably wasn't going to end well.
"Leave me alone!" The criminal shouted as he ran from Eijiro and Konan. "Stop chasing me!"
He then turned a sharp corner, which also resulted in him running into civilians.
"We will once you stop running!" Eijiro shouted back as he had to skid to a halt before continuing to run after the guy.
Konan was right behind him and she frowned when seeing the people around. This wasn't good. The man could easily snatch one of these people as hostage if they didn't subdue him fast enough. Or if a fight broke out, those around them could be hurt. They needed to end this as swiftly as possible.
"Come on!" Eijiro called after the criminal. "You should at least save your buddies, shouldn't you?"
Konan wasn't sure if encouraging the man to go save his friends is something they should do. It would be best if they convinced him to just turn himself in at this point. Though she could guess why Eijiro was upset with the man's cowardness that resulted in him ditching his friends.
"That's what you're mad about?!" The criminal asked in disbelief.
"You shot someone and then ran off to save your own skin." Eijiro said with a frown. "Not much of a man, are you?"
The man didn't reply to the question, but he did come to a skidding halt when he realized ran out room to run. Knowing he could lash out at this point to try and save himself, Konan made paper clones of herself to stand in front of the bystanders watching.
"It's a dead end." Eijiro said as he continued charging forward. "Which means you're mine!"
"Get away from me!" The villain yelled as three blades shot out of his arm.
He went to slice Eijiro's throat, but luckily the boy's quirk saved him from harm. And with the villain distracted that his attack failed, Eijiro launched his own attack and punched the man right in the face, which sent him to the ground.
"That was nothing." Eijiro said. "Now come quietly, or it's going to get a lot worst."
As the criminal started to cry, Konan sighed hoping this meant things were over. She was worried things might have escalated out of hand.
"Wait, you're crying?" Eijiro asked.
"It's not fair," the man said as he continued to lay on the ground. "You know what my quick does? Pops out blades a whopping ten centimeters long like a bunch of dinky box cutters. Of course, I wanna save my bros, you jerk, but I'm scared. At least I was brave enough to shot though."
Eijiro frowned not believing this guy. He shook his head about to walk forward to get the guy to his feet, but Konan put her arm out in front of him.
"We should be more cautious." Konan said. "He may act defected, but it could be a ploy. And we have to worry about the bystanders behind us."
Eijiro blinked before glancing back to see that the four people they had passed earlier were still there.
"I'll restrain him." Konan said as paper started to fly from her body. "And you should probably call Fatgum-san to inform him of our location."
"Right," Eijiro said as Konan went forward cautiously.
He pulled out his phone to do as Konan instructed as said blonde stopped a few feet from the criminal.
"Please move to a kneeled position with your hands behind your head." Konan told the criminal. "Any use of your quirk will result in retaliation, so please, comply."
As the criminal looked as if he was going to do as told, Konan noticed him slip something out of his sleeve into his hand. Before she could stop him, he injected himself with whatever he was carrying.
"He's using some kind of drug!" She called out causing Eijiro's eyes to widen. "Everyone, get down for your own safety!"
Just as the words left her mouth, several very long blades came shooting out of his body. Eijiro, who managed to activate his quirk in time to protect himself, watched in horror as Konan's body was skewered in numerous places.
"Kurafutoshi!" He shouted.
He then landed in a crouched position a few feet away as Konan's body broke apart into sleeves of paper. The paper fell to the ground along with the paper that had been used to make the clothes guarding the civilians.
"Konan!" Eijiro shouted again as he couldn't believe what just happened.
Konan was…Konan was…right before his very eyes she was…she was gone and he hadn't done anything to help her…Eijiro felt tears enter his eyes as his jaw tensed. He couldn't believe it. He didn't understand how things could go wrong so quickly.
"There is no reason to shout. I'm right here."
Eijiro jumped in surprise before whirling around to see Konan was standing there. She had a few knicks on her with some being a tad deep, which caused some blood to trickle out of the small wounds.
"Kurafutoshi, you're okay!" Eijiro said in relief.
He had been so sure that she had been stabbed, but she was okay even if a little scratched up.
"I managed to swap places with a paper clone at the last second." Konan said. "Though I didn't get out of it completely unscathed."
She had pulled the papers she was going to use to restrain the man into a clone then dispersed her own body at the same time to save herself. It wasn't flawlessly executed, but it was better than being dead though, so she wouldn't complain about it. Though they now had more pressing matters on their hands. Both teens turned to look at the criminal in front of them as he seemed a lot more dangerous than before.
'This isn't a good matchup for me,' Konan thought with a frown. 'I'm basically against my natural enemy. If I'm not careful, I could easily die for real.'
The criminal then started moving forward with the blades sticking from his body cutting through the buildings they were stabbed into. If there were any civilians inside, they could easily be pulled into danger at this point. Not to mention the ones behind them.
"Whatever he took must be one of those drug enhancers," Eijiro said to Konan. "I heard about them on the news, but this is crazy. If we let him get back to a busy street it will be a disaster."
"Which means we have to either hold him here and keep his attacks as contained as possible until help arrives," Konan said. "Or take him down as quickly as possible."
Eijiro nodded in agreement as his hands curled up into fists. Before engaging the enemy, Konan's paper that had fallen to the ground earlier shifted and moved underneath the bystanders. They gasped slightly as they were lifted off of the ground to be held in paper made lotuses.
"The bystanders are out of the way," Konan said. "This should make it easier to fight."
"Yeah," Eijiro said. "Let's go, Paper Crane."
As soon as the words left his mouth, the villain shot his blades forward to attack. Eijiro stepped in front of Konan to protect her, but he was shocked as the blades still managed to cut through his hardening.
'He's cutting me!' Eijiro thought in worry. 'If his blades are sharper than my hardening, I can't get close.'
"That's what you get for being cocky, heroes." The villain said. "You talk all big about manliness, but my boys say the age of you so called good guys is crashing down in flames!"
The villain then retracted his blades with a wide and crazy grin adorning his face.
"That means the world will belong to people like me who live in the shadows!" The villain continued with a cackle. "Oh man, I'm on such a crazy freaking high right now. I think I might take your advice and go bust up some heroes to save my friends."
He then sent his blades surging forward once more, and while Eijiro froze for a second, Konan who turned her body into paper flew around Eijiro and charged forward. Eijiro gasped in surprise as he watched Konan, who reformed her body behind the villain, attacked without hesitation. She gave a shout as she whirled around in the air and brought her foot down. She went of the villain's head and while she managed to land the blow, the villain shot a blade out from the back of his head to pierce her through the foot.
She hissed in pain, but didn't even try to move away to save herself. She ripped her foot off the blade then made clones to attack the man. Though they were soon cut into ribbons. As she frowned, the villain cackled as he looked towards her.
"Are you stupid or something, kid?" The villain asked. "You're obviously no match for me! Your quirk is paper? How can you even think to beat me with a weak ass quirk like that?!"
Konan narrowed her eyes at the man as she jumped back for a second to reevaluate the situation. Eijiro could see her leg shaking where she had been stabbed through the foot, but even hurt like she was, she stood tall.
"You aren't telling me things I am unaware of." Konan said. "I know my weaknesses and shortcomings better than anyone. My quirk isn't strong. It's fragile. If I get wet, my paper body will grow heavy and then crumble if I don't dry off fast enough. Fire burns me much faster than the average human and turns my paper to ashes. Then it can't stand up directly to blade or sharp based attacks as it can easily be ripped. I know all these things, and it's always made me feel inadequate when compared to the rest of my peers."
Eijiro's eyes widened as he had no idea. He had no idea that someone like Konan, who came off as so confident and cool, felt like him.
"However…I made the decision to become a hero," Konan said. "So, even if I'm not the strongest…even if I have all those limitations, I won't back down from people like you. Especially not when there are civilians counting on me to protect them. Even if beating you is impossible for someone like me, I will keep standing and fighting."
Konan then launched herself forward again and as she and the villain clashed, Eijiro felt his hands clench tightly into fists.
—FLASHBACK—
"'So instead of going with small tricks with your hardening, try being a bulldozer' that's what All Might suggested, but when it comes down to it, I don't have any flashy moves like you guys do." Eijiro said as he sat with some of his classmates in the living room.
They all looked at him curiously as they wondered just what he was getting at exactly.
"Huh?" Katsuki asked.
"You all have cool long to mid-range attacks and amped up speed, right?" Eijiro explained further. "Except Kaminari."
Denki gave Eijiro a look of offense as he sat up straighter on the sofa to wave his phone at the redhead.
"What?" Denki asked. "See if I ever charge your phone again."
The electrification boy then slumped back into his seat to look back at his phone.
"I just don't have anything like that." Eijiro continued as if Denki didn't say anything. "If I'm being honest with myself, I'm pretty mediocre. Which means one day when you're Pros, I probably won't be able to hold my own compared to you."
"Never heard you whine like such a wimp before." Hanta said around the straw of his milk box.
"I'm not whining!" Eijiro denied. "I'm just talking out loud! Give me a break!"
As Hanta didn't look convinced by Eijiro's words, Katsuki scoffed shaking his head.
"You think you can't keep up?" Katsuki asked him. "You must have forgotten what you told me during the Calvary Battle. And what All Might showed us in Kamino. That just standing up means you are strong."
—END OF FLASHBACK—
Eijiro grit his teeth together. He couldn't just stand here. Not like he had before. He decided to become a hero too, and he didn't do all that training for nothing.
"Paper Crane, move behind me!" Eijiro called out to Konan as she dodged the criminal's attacks.
Konan blinked curiously, but did as told as she retreated behind Eijiro who straightened his shoulders.
"Oh, you going to come charging in now?" The criminal asked with a smirk then launched his blades forward. "Well, let's see what you've got, hero."
Eijiro narrowed his eyes as he activated his hardening once more. Behind him, Konan's eyes widened slightly to see Eijiro's body seemed different than before. He looked as if he truly made of stone now as if he had forced his quirk to become tougher than before. The blades then connected with his body, but instead of cutting him like before, the blades were shattered.
"What's that noise?" The criminal asked as Eijiro moved causing his body to make an odd noise. "It sounds like your whole body is creaking."
"Crane, please keep the bystanders safe." Eijiro said before charging forward. "Here I come!"
The villain met the charging attack by focusing all his blades in one spot on Eijiro's body. But the teen didn't falter as he kept firmly between the villain and the bystanders that Konan was looking after. Said girl watched with eyes wide in awe. Eijiro then gave a loud shout as he shattered the blades and pushed forward. In seconds, he used a powerful combo that sent the criminal flying before he landed on the ground seemingly defeated. As Eijiro's hardening went away, the villain sat up and was crying…again…
"Stay back." The criminal cried as he tried to scoot away from Eijiro. "I just wanted to get stronger. I'm nothing but a pathetic weakling that wanted to—ack!"
He never finished his sentence as Konan, who appeared behind him, chopped the side of his neck. She seemed to have hit a pressure point since the man fell to the ground conscious.
"You should just take a nap and stop being a nuisance," Konan said as she stood straight.
Though she winced when she put too much pressure on her foot. Eijiro looked at her with slightly wide eyes before looking to the unconscious man on the ground.
"Remind me never to pick a fight with you," Eijiro said with a chuckle.
"Me?" Konan asked. "You're the one who took him down. I merely prevented him from causing more trouble."
"Yeah, well, it was super manly how you stood up to him like that, Crane." Eijiro said with a grin.
Though his grin faltered for a moment as he rubbed the back of his head with a slightly embarrassed expression on his face.
"Though I suppose calling a girl manly…isn't really a compliment…" Eijiro said sheepishly.
"Perhaps in another context, you'd be correct." Konan said. "However, coming from you…I believe that is the highest compliment of them all, so thank you."
Eijiro's grin returned at her words. The two teens then turned as Fatgum arrived on scene. With him here and villain still unconscious, Konan lowered the bystanders to the ground as they should be safe now.
"Sorry, I'm late." Fatgum said. "But looks like you two handled the situation. Good job."
The two teens smiled at the praise while glad things worked out. Things had gotten a little dicey.
"Thank you, sir." The two said in unison.
"And thank you both," The elderly bystander said from behind them.
Eijiro and Konan both turned once more as the bystanders came to show their gratitude for being saved.
"You were incredible back there." The elderly man added.
"The way you kept his blades from hitting us back there was insane!" Another added.
"And it was really cool how you stood up to him," The woman said to Konan.
Konan almost felt like blushing at the praise as she unconsciously slid closer to Fatgum. The hero almost wanted to laugh at how much like Tamaki she was acting. Seemed like the girl was coming out of her shell a bit and not hiding her emotions as much behind a well-trained mask.
"I've been watching heroes for a long time now, and most would be scared of a guy like that." The elderly man said.
"You saved our lives!" The younger man said.
"Talk about making a big splash." Fatgum said. "That's a better reception than I got for my debut. Solid work you there. You'll be an amazing hero someday, Red Riot. I'm sure of it. Course I already knew that about our little Crane here. She showed her talent during her internship."
He patted her on top of the head with Konan trying to ignore the heat in her cheeks rising.
"Thanks, sir." Eijiro said with his grin widening.
"Young heroes, what's your hero names?" The elderly man asked.
"Yeah, I wanna know too!" The younger man added.
Eijiro, who pulled Konan forward by putting his arm around her, turned to answer the people with enthusiasm.
"I'm Red Riot!" He said. "And she's Paper Crane!"
Konan, who quickly pulled herself together, gave a polite smile as she folded her hands in front of her.
"Well, you can bet those are names I won't be forgetting." The elderly man said.
"Yeah, Red Riot and Paper Crane are the coolest!" The younger man agreed.
Both teens thanked the people before Fatgum told them they needed to get the criminal on the ground to the cops and to meet up with Tamaki.
"Hey, Crane, let me carry you." Eijiro said as Fatgum collected the criminal. "You hurt your foot pretty bad in that fight."
"You've got a serious injury, Crane?" Fatgum asked.
"It's not that bad," Konan denied.
As Eijiro gave her look of disbelief, Fatgum looked down at said 'not that bad' injury to see there was quite a bit of blood.
"Stop being stubborn." He scolded as he flicked her forehead causing her to wince and hold the now aching spot.
"So, Sir, expects us back tomorrow, huh?" Ayano said into her phone as she was sitting at her desk in her room.
She had been reading over some notes from today's classes when Mirio called her. And she was glad for the distraction and the good news.
"That's right." Mirio said. "Looks like we're finally going to be making our move on the Shie Hassaikai. Sir didn't tell me too much, but he mentioned he reached out to a few agencies to help. Hado and Tamaki's mentors were mentioned."
As Ayano recalls, Tamaki works under the hero Fatgum and Nejire under Ryukyu, which means Konan, Eijiro, Ochaco, and Tsuyu will all most likely be working on this case as well. But if Nighteye really is asking for help from such well-known heroes, well, it just showed how serious this entire case is.
"I look forward to work with them," Ayano said. "But more than that…I'm eager to confront Chisaki again."
They wouldn't let the man get away a second time, and they would save Eri. Ayano made her a promise.
Coco: I love writing anything with Eijiro involved. I just have him so much lol and Konan is really growing on me more and more. I remember when I wasn't sure what to do with her and even thought about cutting her out of the story. I'm glad I worked things out as I feel as if she fits the story more now.
Also, I don't have a chapter bonus for this chapter. Sorry, I've been having someone asking to know what happened exactly to Ayano's adoptive parents, so I'm working on a bonus that shows what happened instead of adding it into one of the chapters.
Speaking of these bonuses, I was wondering if you guys would be more interested in a separate story of one-shot requests. It wouldn't be much different than what I'm doing now, but instead of being these small mini shots at the end of each chapter, the bonuses will have their own book and will probably be extended into full one-shots instead of just a few paragraphs. Just let me know what you guys think.
Well, that's it for now. See you all on the flip side~
