This is a rewritten story of Yu-Gi-Oh GX but with OCs of my own and two OCs from Magic Mana's Story. Mostly aligned with the story but I have my own twist.
Inspired by Tales of Academia by Magic Mana and dragonicdevil's Yu-Gi-Oh GX: Season 1,2, and 3 support them or be exterminated!

Chapter 2 -Welcome to Duel Academy!
[A Helicopter on the way to Duel Academy]
Cyrus Truesdale, Bastion Misawa, Hunter Wheeler, Mana Gardener(Muto), Zarc Sakaki, Ray Sakaki, Gears Crowler, and Jaden Yuki(Kaiba) all looked out the window of the helicopter.
{Alright kids welcome to your home away from home.} the pilot said.
"There it is…" Syrus said in awe.
"Duel Academy…" Hunter said.
"So this is the original Duel Academia…" Ray and Zarc thought.
"I finally made it…" Mana thought.
"So this is dad's school…" Jaden thought.
"You're finally here…" Yubel said.
{Alright, now calm down. I know that you're excited but don't shove. Fasten your seat belts and turn your seat to upright position welcome to Duel Academy." the pilot said.]

Jaden looks determined with an image of a certain shadow charm.

Mana worried about a certain duelist with the image of the Milluimuim Puzzle.

Zarc smiling for a duel with an image of his father's pendulum necklace.

The three were back to back were on Duel Academy.

Jaden, Mana, and Zarc were hanging out with new friends and rivals. Jaden was talking with Alexis, and Mana and Zarc were talking with each other.

Chazz, Titan, ParaDox Brothers, and Seven Shadow Riders images appeared although shaded.

Jaden was in his father's shadow and then was surrounded by monsters such as Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Winged-Kuriboh, E-Hero Avian, E-Hero Burstrix, and Yubel.
[Kirameku tsuyosa ga Kādo ni yadoru]
But then a shadow emerges from the darkness in the form of three giant monsters.

Syrus, Gears, Bastion, Hunter, a teen who looks like a Koala, Ray, Alexis, Chazz, Hiro Ryder, Atem (Mana's older bother), Zane, and finally Professor Banner.
[Fīru Itto! Kodō ga Ba,Ba,Ba,Bān!]
Professor Banner whose glasses reflect an image of a masked man with white hair.
[Furikitta genkai wo mata norikoete boku wa tsuyoku naru]
Jaden with Blue-Eyes White Dragon and E-Hero Flame Wingman attacks. Three Cyber Dragons combine into the fearsome Cyber End Dragon follow by Zane then the dragon fired at Gladiator Beast Nerokious controlled by Hunter and then it attacks.
[Akirametaku wa nai kara]
Then Mana had the Dark Magician Girl by her side and Atem had Black Luster jumped on the back of her D/D/D Dragon King Pendragon.
[Kasoku suru kaze ni notte mukaerunda]
Gears in his prototype Duel Runner built by him and a certain friend. Behind him is a giant chaotic machine with giant cannons for arms and a red eyed zombie synchro dragon. It was shaded in shadows. Then an image of Zarc with his eyes glowing red and had an evil smile behind him was an image of a three-headed Borrel monster.
[Ashita sura ito'oshikunaru hodo no boku no yume]
Jaden with BEWD(Blue-Eyes White Dragon),Yubel, and Flame Wingman, Mana with Dark Magician Girl, and Zarc with Borreload Dragon, and all five monsters attack three gigantic mysterious monsters.
[Ano kumo wo tsukinukete mabushī yume wo aozora ni egakō]
Jaden and Alexis were running towards the eighth pillar on the island. But noticed that Zarc and Mana were riding on a real Borreload Dragon.
[Rettsu sutāto! Isshun no senkō kara]
Jaden having his first Action Duel against Chazz and Chazz is picking up pace.
[Rettsu faindo! Sō, boku ga iku beki Wei]
Zarc turbo dueling a certain mad man from his timeline.

Mana and Alexis dueled each other in a regular duel.

Jaden, Mana, and Zarc were surrounded by friends.

(Later after everyone landed on the island)
[Duel Academy Audatoruim]
"Well, students good morning I am Chancellor Shepard. I hope you all will have a great semester after all you are the best and brightest young duelist in the world." Shepard said.
"Oh, make sure you go to the Dorms Orientation Dinner at 9:00 PM. Okay, you're all dismissed so explore the campus, duel someone, or eat." Shepard said.
[Outside]
Zarc, Hunter, Jaden, Mana, Ray, Gears, Bastion, and Syrus were outside.
"Hey, guys which dorm are you guys in?" Syrus asked in red.
"Isn't it obvious? We're in Silfer Red." Zarc Sakaki said in his red jacket.
"Well, I'm in Obelisk Blue Zarc.." Ray said as she was in a female blue obelisk uniform.
"That's just because any and all females go to Blue Obelisk automatically Ray!" Zarc yelled.
"Ra Yellow…" Gears said in his yellow jacket.
"I'm in Slifer Red!" Mana said.
"Huh? You're in Red? But shouldn't you be in Blue?" Syrus asked.
"Oh, I just asked the principal to put in a request," Mana said.
(Flashback before school started)
(Hours ago)
"Sir, I would like to request to go to Silfer Red," Mana asked.
"Are you sure?" the principal asked.
"Yes, I am sure…" Mana said.
"Okay, but you still have to wear your Obelisk Blue uniform until we can get you a female Silfer Red uniform." the Principal said.
(End Flashback)
"That is logical." Gears said.
"Well, I'm going to check Reds' Dorms," Zarc said.
"Me too…" Mana said as she followed Zarc.
"Okay, see you guys later," Ray said.
"So, who wants to bet that Zarc and Mana will get together?" Bastion asked.
"Only if you also bet on Alexis and Jaden." Ray said.
"Alexis? Obelisk Blue girl?" Gears asked.
"Yes, her." Bastion answered.
(Later)
[Silfer Red Dorm]
"So, this is the Red Dorm…man my brother did say it was a dump," Syrus said.
"Well, at least the view of the ocean is beautiful," Mana said.
"Well, let's see our rooms," Zarc said as the group walked up the stairs. Zarc, Jaden, Syrus, Hunter, and Mana's rooms were right next to each other.
"So, this is our room...I called dibs on bottom bunk!" Zarc said.
"Well, I called the mid-" Hunter said.
"I called Middle!" Mana then yelled.
"Dang it…" Hunter said.
"AAAHHHH!" Syrus screamed.
"Sounds like a girl is in trouble," Mana said as she ran for the door.
"I think that was Syrus." Hunter said as he ran after Mana.
"My bet Syrus found a cockroach in his room or met with a strange-looking roommate." Zarc said following Hunter.
(Moments ago)
"Wow, this is small…" Syrus said.
"Well, you're small we can work with this," Jaden said.
"Hey, Jaden, you think we were connected in some way in a past life?" Syrus asked.
"You know like the Nameless Pharaoh and the Priest Seto?" Syrus said as he imagined Jaden as the Nameless Pharaoh and Syrus as the Priest Seto.
"No, offense Syrus but they probably broke the mold with us. Besides, I think of myself as a Supreme King but Zarc also seems to be a Supreme King as well." Jaden said.
"I guess you're a king but I'm just a servant," Syrus said gloomfully.
"We gotta work on your confidence," Jaden said.
"It's dark in here…" Syrus said.
"Well in that case let's open it up!" Jaden said as he opened the blinds.
Just then…
"HEY! They were closed for a reason!" a voice from the top bunk shouted.
"Oh, sorry about that. We didn't see you." Jaden said as he apollgises.
"Well, can you see me now?" the boy said as he got out from the blanket revealing a face resembling a Koala.
"AAAHHHH!" Syrus screamed as he hugged Jaden.
Yubel was shocked at the boy's face.
"Will you stop it with the screaming! Who are you? And what are you doing in my room?" the boy shouted.
"Well, I'm Jaden Yuki this is Syrus Truesdale." Jaden said
"Sorry about Syrus...SO what's your name?" Jaden asked.
"Call me, Chumley Huffington." Chumley said as he went back into bed.
"Ummm…" Jaden said.
"Yeah, you're new alright. So let me explain how things work here…" Chumley said.
"What things?" Jaden asked cluelessly.
"Like when Parent's Weekend is?" Syrus said.
"Duh, like how the whole color thing works. That's what the most important thing here is." Chumley said
"Yeah?" Jaden and Syrus blink as Hunter, Mana, and Zarc enter the room.
"There are three different dorms. Obelisk Blue, Ra Yellow, and Silfer Red. The Blues are at the top of the food chain. They get in school cause of private duel schools and connections. Ra yellow is good duelists with good grades. And Silfer Red or the Red Wonders. We the lowest of the low...we got in by chance ." Chumley said.
"Yeesh...I guess uncle Seto really despises Atem(Yami) even after he's gone." Mana thought.
"Darn it dad..." Jaden thought.
"These Silfer Reds needs a pep talk once in a while." Yubel thought.
(Later outside)
[Edge of a Cliff]
"Awe…" Syrus moaned.
"Come on Syrus don't tell me you are down because of what Chumley said?" Jaden asked.
"But Chumley said we are the worst…" Syrus said.
"Not true...I got in because of my skills but grades are another story." Zarc said.
"Yeah, mom is gonna kill me and then dad…" Hunter said.
"Well, forget that! I mean Yugi Moto used SIlfer to beat Obelisk in the Battle City Tournament finals." Jaden said.
"Jaden right!" Mana said.
"Besides it's the begin of the year. Who are we compared to?" Hunter said.
"Right! Red is for Red Hot! Scorching! Hot! Dangerous! Like a furnace!" Syrus said as he was on fire figuratively.
Then Jaden noticed something that caught his attention followed by Mana, Zarc, and Hunter.
Then Syrus noticed that he was alone! And ran after everyone!
The five went into the Academy building.
"Guys! Wait up!" Syrus said.
"I think there's a duel going on." Jaden said.
"How would you know?" Zarc asked.
"Yeah." Syrus said.
"He just knows…" Mana said.
Then the four found themselves at the Obelisk Blue Dueling Arena.
"Woah...This is sweet! I can smell the Dueling that happens around here..." Jaden said as he looked around.
"So this is the Obelisk Blue Duel Arena…" Zarc said.
"It's huge!" Mana said.
"Are you guys sure we're allowed to be here?" Syrus asked.
"Yeah, I mean this is our campus right?" Hunter said as two Obelisk Blues noticed the Silfer Reds.
"Wrong...this is the Blue Obelisk Campus." Glasses Blue said.
"And Silfer Reds aren't allowed here the girl can stay though…" the other blue said.
"No thanks." Mana said.
"Grr…" Zarc growled at the two.
Syrus was a bit afraid.
"If you think we're lying check out the crest." the other blue said as the group turned around to see the symbol of Obelisk Blue on top of an arch over the entrance.
"This arena is our turf." glass blue said.
"Oh yeah, then prove it!" Hunter said.
"Sorry, we'll leave now right Jaden?" Syrus said.
"Maybe, but not until one of you duel me." Jaden said with a coy smile.
"Hey you're that kid…" glasses blue said.
"Hey, Chazz. It's that tester who beat Dr. Crowler check him out." the other blue said.
"Hphm…" Chazz stared down the group.
"Hello. My name is Jaden Yuki. And he's Chezz? Was it?" Jaden said.
"It's Chazz, Jaden…" Yubel said.
"Grr…" Chazz was anger by that comment.
"His name is Chazz Princeton and he's the #1 Duelist from our Duel Prep School. So, give him your proper respect." glasses blue said.
"Respect isn't given it's earn…" Zarc said.
"Well, Chazz is going to be the Future King of Games." other Blue said.
"Well, that's impossible cause I am going to be the next King of Games." Jaden said.
Then the two Obelisk Blues started laughing.
"HAHAHA!" the two laughed.
Then the two stopped.
"A Silfer Slacker as the King of Games unlikely." glasses blue said.
"Well, Yugi Moto used Silfer to beat Seto Kaiba's Obelisk in the Battle City Finals. So, in reality, you shouldn't underestimate us SIifers." Mana said.
"Enough! Maybe he's right." Chazz said.
"Uh...What do you mean Chazz? Glasses blue said.
"He did beat Crowler and the famous Ancient Gear Golem. And did it in a One-Turn-Kill. He has some skill..." Chazz said.
"Yeah," Jaden said.
"...Or was it luck? Why don't we duel and find out!" Chazz asked.
"Bring it!" Jaden said.
"Well, this is a motley crew." Alexis said as she came out of nowhere with Ray.
"Whoa, who is that?" Syrus blushed and asked about Alexis and Ray.
"Hey, Alexis… You too, Ray…Have you too come to watch me wipe the floor with Jaden?" Chazz said.
"No, we're here to remind you all about the Obelisk Blue Welcome Dinner at the dorm. You're late." Ray said.
"Oh fine…" Chazz said as he and his goons left the arena.
"I'm sorry Chazz is like that. Not all Obelisks are like that...he's just a jerk. Especially to SIlfers…" Alexis said.
"But I bet he's a nice kid o the inside," Ray said with a smile as Zarc lifted his right eyebrow.
"It's alright...those types of things don't bother me at all." Jaden said.
"Really are you sure?" Syrus asked.
"Yeah, people like that make me mad." Hunter said.
"Like a dog?" Zarc asked.
"Yes…..Shut up…" Hunter said as he realized what he answered.
Alexis giggled at the group's joke.
"The Silfer Red Welcome Dinner is about to start." Alexis said.
So, get going!" Ray yelled at Zarc.
"Right! Let's Book it!" Hunter said as he ran out first followed by Mana and Zarc.
"Oh, wait what's your name again?" Jaden asked as he was about to run off with Syrus.
"Oh, it's Alexis Rhodes. And your's?" Alexis asked.
"Jaden Yuki. Welp, see you around!" Jaden said as he ran off to the Silfer Red dorm.
"Aren't you gonna introduce me?" Syrus asked.
"Jaden," Alexis said with a slight blush that went unnoticed by Ray.

[Obelisk Blue Dorm Male]
The Obelisk Blue Male students are talking among themselves.
[Obelisk Blue Dorm Female]
The girls are socializing and talking about stuff.
[Ra Yellow Dorm]
The students of Ra Yellow were eating a fancy dinner except for Gears Crowler who was working on a prototype Duel Runner with his friend Sokudo Fudo.
"Hey! Gears! Why don't you eat!" a Ra yellow student said.
"Silence! I am making…" Gears said as sparks fly around.
"TOAST!" Gear said.
"..." Everyone was confused with Gears' actions.
[SIlfer Red dorm]
Several Silfer Red students were confused at their dinner.
"This is our fancy dinner?" Red#1 asked.
"Forget that! Our headmaster is a cat!" red#2 said.
"Meow…" Pharaoh meowed.
Just then a man with glasses and Hiro Ryder came in.
"Oh? Hello children, I am Professor Banner and this is my assistant Hiro Ryder. Now before we eat I would like you all to tell me about yourselves-" Banner said as Jaden, Zarc, and Hunter began eating.
"This stuff is good!" Jaden said.
"I know right?" Zarc said.
"Past some soy sauce please." Hunter said.
"Jaden…" Syrus said.
"Zarc…" Mana said.
"Sigh...You know what just eat. And in 30 minutes I called Domino's and order 30 Pizzas on Dr. Crowler's credit card!" Hiro said as he imagined Crowler getting the bill...Muhahaha...
(Later)
[Jaden's Room]
"Oh, man I am stuffed." Jaden said.
"Heh...I bet Crowler will be crying in the morning once he sees the bill." Zarc said evilly.
"That's mean…" Mana said.
"Banner can cook too." Hunter said.
"Yeah, he seems like a nice guy too." Syrus said as he gave hot chocolate to Mana, Hunter, and Jaden. Zarc took out a Pepsi and drank it.
"Hey, Chumley want some?" Syrus asked.
"Did I say I was thirsty?" Chumley said rudely.
"Syrus was just being nice you don't have to be mean." Mana said.
"That's okay…" Syrus said.
"Besides Hot Chocolate will keep me all night…" Chumley said.
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
"Huh?" Jaden said as he checked his PDA.
"What is it?" Hunter asked.
"It's a message from Chazz…" Jaden said.
Then Jaden answered the message.
{Hey Slifer Slacker, don't think your off the hook just yet. Tonight at Midnight we duel for our rarest and best card don't be late.} Chazz said.
{END Message}
"Well, I guess I'll duel at that Arena after all." Jaden said.
"Hey is that Chazz Princeton? If it is then you got trouble." Chumley said.
(Later)
[Obelisk Blue Duel Arena]
Mana, Jaden, Zarc, Syrus, and hunter came to the arena. Where Chazz and his goons are there.
Jaden had his special prototype duel disk his father made(Dark Side of the Dimension) and had a special headset.
"Well-well-well he shows," Chazz said.
"You better believe it. There's no way I would back down a challenge." Jaden said.
"Wait up…" Syrus said.
"This duel will determine if you beating Dr. Crowler was a fluke or a fact." Chazz said.
"Yeah? Well, this will also determine which one of us will be the next King of Games." Jaden said.
"Whatever, just get ready to hand over your Blue-Eyes White Dragon card when you lose." Chazz said.
"This duel is for fun. Now, get your game on." Jaden said.
Then the two activate their duel disks.
"DUEL!" Chazz and Jaden said.
[4000 LP Chazz]
[4000 LP Jaden]
Both Chazz and Jaden drew five cards in their hand.
"Prepare to fry slacker." Chazz said as he checked his hand: Chthonian Polymer, Mefist the Infernal General, Call of the Haunted, and Reborn Zombie.
Jaden's hand had E-Hero: Burstinatrix, Sparkman, Avian, Polymerization, and Winged Kuriboh.
"I summon Reborn Zombie in Defense Mode and I place one card facedown and end my turn." Chazz said as he summons Reborn Zombie [1000 Atk/ 1600 Def] and sets a spell/trap card facedown.
"So, you're going in slow? I guess I'll go in guns blazing. I draw!" Jaden said as he drew E-Hero Clayman.
Just then Winged Kuriboh winked at Jaden.
"Nice to see you, little guy. I'll use you later." Jaden thought.
"Now I use polymerization to fuse E-Hero Avian and E-Hero Burstinatrix to fusion summon the E-Hero Flame Wingman in attack mode!" Jaden said shocking Chazz as he was going to fusion this early. Flame Wingman [2100 Atk/ 1200 Def].
"Told you I'll start big." Jaden said with a smirk.
"Well, I was hoping you would fusion summon. Well for the Blue Eyes fusion." Chazz said.
"Huh?" Jaden said in confusion.
"I activate Chthonian Polymer! I tribute my Reborn to take control of your Flame Wingman!" Chazz said.
"Ch-chthonian Polymer?" Syrus asked.
"It's a trap card that steals your opponent's Fusion summon monster," Zarc said.
"He's right you know." Alexis said as she and Ray out of nowhere.
"Alexis? Ray? What are you guys here?" Syrus asked.
"We should be the one asking you." Ray said.
"Besides, Chthonian Polymer is a nasty trap that allows the user to take a fusion summoned monster in return for a sacrifice of your own creature." Alexis said.
"Eh, good trap but I can counter that easily." Zarc said.
"Go, Chthonian Polymer! Fusion control!" Chazz said as he takes control of Flame Wingman.
"Dang it." Jaden said.
"Wait, how did Chazz know to play that?" Syrus asked.
"Syrus the main reason to use Polymerization is to summon a fusion monster. You don't need to be a scientist to have a simple fusion counter." Hunter said.
"But now, Jaden is up against one of his favorite cards." Mana said.
"Hmm…" Jaden was in thought.
"Come on slacker!" Chazz shouted.
"Alright...I set E-Hero Clayman in Defense mode! I'm set!" Jaden said as he summons Clayman [800 Atk/2000 Def].
"Yeah, but prepare to be crush! I summon Chthonian Soldier in attack mode!" Chazz said as he drew a card and then summoned Chthonian Soldier [1200 Atk/1400 Def].
"Now attack! Flame Wingman with Skydive Scorcher!" Chazz said as the Flame Wingman destroys Clayman.
BOOM!
Clayman shattered.
"Now faced Wingman's special effect." Chazz said as Wingman dealt 800 LP damage to Jaden.
Jaden [4000-800=3200]
"Aghh…" Jaden said as he flinched from the effect damage.
"And don't forget about my Chthonian Soldier! Attack!" Chazz said as the soldier slashed Jaden.
SLASH!
"Aghh!" Jaden screamed.
Jaden [3200-1200=2000]
"Jaden!" Syrus said.
"Ha! You see now you slacker! This is the big leagues! If you can't keep up then drop out!" Chazz said as he placed a card facedown.
"If he dropped out his dad would kill him…" Mana said.
"No, kidding…" Hunter said.
"Hehehe...Hahahaha!" Jaden started to laughed.
"Huh?" Chazz was confused.
"This is exactly what I wanted a challenge!" Jaden said as he drew a card.
"Okay! First I play the spell Pot of Greed to let me draw two cards!" Jaden said as he plays Pot of Greed then draw two more cards.
The two cards he drew were game-changers.
Okay! I summon E-Hero Sparkman!" Jaden said as he summons E-Hero Sparkman in attack mode. Sparkman [1600 Atk/ 1400 Def].
"Now Sparkman attacks the Chthonian Soldier!" Jaden said as Sparkman destroys the Soldier.
BOOM!
Chazz [4000-400=3600]
"Well, unfortunately for you Chthonian Soldier's effect activates. When he is destroyed you will receive the same amount of life points damage like me." Chazz said as a sword pierced Jaden's LPs.
Jaden[2000-400=1600]
"Still think you can keep up? Just give up now." Chazz said as he smirked.
"Is Jaden going to lose?" Syrus asked.
"No, from what I can tell the two cards he drew are major game-changers," Zarc said.
"I throw down two cards facedown and end my turn." Jaden said as he placed two facedown spell/trap cards.
"HA! Play all the cards you like! But I am going to end this duel now! Flame Wingman attack!" Chazz said as the Flame Wingman was about to destroy Sparkman.
"Not so fast Chazz. I activate the trap Mirror Gate!" Jaden said as one of the face downs was revealed as Mirror Gate.
"No!" Chazz said.
"Mirror Gate that's part of the Hero Architype? Right?" Hunter asked.
"Yeah, that card activates if your opponent is attacking a Hero monster it switches the monsters around for the turn and returns them at the end of the turn." Alexis said.
"A powerful yet simple card." Ray said.
Then Sparkman and Flame Wingman switch sides. Chazz's monster(s): Sparkman and Jaden's monster(s) Flame Wingman.
Then Flame Wingman destroyed the Sparkman and Chazz was dealt battle damage.
BOOM!
Chazz[3600-500=3100]
"No!" Chazz saida as he felt the damage.
"And now Wingman's special ability!" Jaden said.
Chazz[3100-1600=1500]
BOOM!
"Go get him Jaden!"Syrus said.
"You're doing well!" Alexis said.
"Well, I am not done! I activate the spell Chthonian Blast!" Chazz said as he played the spell version of Chthonian Blast.
"Hey wait a minute Chthonian Blast is a trap card! Not a spell how did he activated it?" Syrus asked.
"There are two versions of Chthonian Blast. The Trap Version and the Spell Version. The Trap version affects both players while the Spell Version only affects the opponent. But since both versions have the same name. They are considered the same card so you can only have up to three "Chthonian Blast" regardless if it was a spell or trap card." Ray said.
"Now since you destroyed one of my monsters I can destroy one of your monsters and you take half of its attack points." Chazz said.
Then the Flame Wingman exploded.
BOOM!
Jaden[1600-1050=550]
"No…" Jaden said.
"Now I activate my face-down Call of the Haunted, to bring back Chthonian Soldier from the graveyard. But I sacrificed him to summon Mefist the Infernal General! Now I end my turn!" Then Jaden heard Winged Kuriboh…

"My deck has no pathetic card Chazz. In fact, my facedown card will bring me victory…" Jaden said with a smile.
"Now I draw!" Jaden said as he drew his card.
[Meanwhile in the dark hallways.]
Alexis and Ray heard the Security Guards.
"Umm...Guys we need to leave now. The Security Guards are coming." Alexis said.
"Uh oh…" Syrus said.
"If we get caught we'll all be in trouble." Ray said.
"Don't tell me…" Jaden said in worry.
"No off hours Arena Duels…" Jaden and Alexis said at the same time.
"Chazz we need to go." Glasses Blue said.
"Fine, you got lucky you Silfer Slacker." Chazz said as he and his goons ran out of the Arena.
"Hey wait, this duel isn't over." Jaden said.
"Yes, it is and I already got what I wanted, you beating Crowler was a fluke." Chazz said.
"Jaden the guards are getting close!" Syrus said as he pulls on Jaden's jacket.
"Jaden we must leave!" Yubel thought.
"Crap...Scatter!" Hunter said as he ran out first.
Then Zarc, Mana, Ray, Alexis, Jaden, and Syrus ran out of the Arena.
(Minutes Later)
"I thought I heard monsters fighting in here?" Guard #1 said.
"That could just Duel Spirits fighting for Supremacy on this island." Guard #2 said.
"Or it could be the ghosts' of those missing students still dueling it out from the Shadow Realm…" Guard #3 said.
[Outside]
"Geeze… You're stubborn you know that Jaden?" Alexis said.
"Yeah, I just wish I could've finished the duel." Jaden said.
"Well, at least we're Scott-free! Come on guys we'll meet up at the Silfer Red Dorm!" Hunter said as he started running.
"Well, sorry that you couldn't finish your match." Alexis said.
"It's okay I know how it ended anyway." Jaden said.
"You sure Jaden?" Mana asked.
"Yeah, it looked like you would have lost unless you had a Monster Reborn." Ray said.
"No way! Not when he had the trap Magistery Alchemist facedown!" Zarc said.
"Wait you mean the other face down?" Mana asked.
"Yeah! And this is what I drew Miracle Fusion." Jaden said.
"Magistery Alchemist? I never heard of that card before…" Alexis said.
"It's an extremely rare Hero card. Since the Flame Wingman can only be fusion summoned. Jaden had to revive the Wingman ignoring the summoning conditions with this trap card by removing four Hero monsters from the game." Zarc said.
"Wait that means...Jaden you won't the duel." Alexis said as she realized the power of the trap card.
"Welp...see you in class!" Jaden said as he ran for the SIlfer Red dorm followed by Zarc, Mana, and Syrus.
"Well, this is going to be one intersecting year." Alexis thought as she and Ray went to the Obelisk Blue Girls' Dorm.
