Hey readers and welcome to another chapter of this. Now I have to admit that I am happy with the way this is going. Partially because I have several options of how I could end this story and think I have the one I want to go with. Course there is some stuff I still need to decide upon but that's just how I like to write. Anyways I am going to try and keep this story from having too much "fluff" (filler stuff that really does nothing for the plot) but a bit of it is nice to see to make it have some humor/light times rather than all serious. Anyways just try and bear with my craziness and I promise that I am not trying to make sure this story is a 'million' word story (but it would be cool if it did). I just am writing what comes to me at a pace I feel is good. I hope you feel the same way. (and from some of the PM I got some do). Anyways enough of my talking on with the story. Oh but first "I herby state that I don't own anything to do with the Naruto francise"

Chapter 55

~Training ground; morning~

*huff, huff* "I feel it I am nearly there!" Naruto told his teachers as he tried to catch his breath. "Let's go again. I'll get it this time!"

"Hmm, maybe you are right. But I think Yamato needs another break." Kakashi told him as he looked up from what had to be his third book he took out since they started this training. Course Naruto wanted to try and argue with him but you clearly see how tired the wood user was even though he tried to hide it as always.

"Fine let's take a break for some breakfast." Naruto grumbled accepting the fact that he wouldn't be able to finish right away. So, instead he decided it was finally time for them to fix the problem they all had. With that being said Kakashi closed his book for the first time in ages and began to walk out of the training grounds.
"Now that sounds like a great idea." Kakashi says with an eye smile and soon had Naruto following him back to the village.

"Hehe, you guys go on ahead…just bring something back for me." Yamato tells them with a weak wave. He then waited until they were out of sight before allowing himself to pass out and finally begin to try and recover from his chakra exhaustion.

~Konoha~

"So, you up for ramen?" Naruto asks Kakashi with a smile while ignoring the look he got from Kakashi.

"…maybe next time." Kakashi tells him deciding not to fight against his student's addiction at the moment and instead simply push the matter off for another day. In doing so he managed to get Naruto to eat something proper for once. So, when they entered a random restaurant Naruto was quick to pick a meal that was rather large to be considered a light breakfast before training while Kakashi went with a simple meal and held back his desire to shake his head at the antics of his student. "Even now when both of my remaining students are nearing my level or even past it already they still act like the same brats at times." Kakashi thought with a smirk under his mask. "Still I am glad I got them…especially seeing as I get an upfront view of Sensei's son growing up. You would be proud of him Minato-sensei, Kushina-sensei…well maybe you would cause some havoc if you learned he was having a harem." Kakashi thought with a chuckle knowing that Naruto's mother was never a fan of the CRA…thus why Minato didn't take the offer when he got it.

(AN: In my story while yes it's clear that Minato trained them they also met and worked with Kushina a bit as well…I have no clue if this is right in the actual show but it doesn't matter. In this FICTIONAL story made off the Naruto series it is)

After thinking this few words were spoken between student and teacher as they simply enjoyed their food. After all due to Naruto's craze of wanting to train till he dropped neither one had ate all that much during the training. Sadly though before Kakashi could completely finish he was summoned to see Tsunade making him sigh and put down his chopsticks.

"Well Naruto I guess I will meet you back at the field. Remember to get something for Yamato." He told the blond with an eye smile before quickly disappearing. It was only a minute or two later until Naruto realized what Kakashi did.

"HEY! That bastard left without paying his part of the bill." Naruto growled before taking out his frog wallet and looking at it sadly. "You might get a bit skinnier than I wanted you to be after this Gama-chan" Naruto mumbled down to the frog wallet.

~Hokage Tower~

After leaving Naruto Kakashi went to the hokage tower as fast as he could. He then jumped up to her office's window and quickly entered the building without issue seeing as he was expected.

"You called Lady Tsunade?" Kakashi asked Tsunade while ignoring the glare she was sending him.

"There is a reason I have a damn door Kakashi." She growled at the man who just gave her an eye smile. "…anyways how is Naruto's training going? Is it ready to be used?"

"It seems he is close. The amount of clones that are going berserk rather than being productive is going down drastically. Also it seems that his jutsu seems to be gathering wisps of wind energy as well which is promising. So, I would say that he should be finished with this within a few days as most." Kakashi explained.

"A few days huh…well I suppose that is good enough for him to be ready for an assault. Just make sure that he gets it down as fast as possible. Even though he is decently strong right now he still won't be able to defeat two S class ninja." Tsunade told him concerned about Naruto. Not just because she cared for him but also for the village. After all if they lost their biggest 'weapon' then they would be more likely to be attacked. Kakashi just nods his head and was getting ready to leave just as the door was pushed wide open. Immediately Kakashi and the ANBU guards quickly surrounded Tsunade in a defensive circle until they saw who entered.

For pushing past a receptionist who clearly was nervous as she tried to stop them was team 10. Course currently only Choji and Ino were able to walk in seeing as Shikamru was trying his hardest to hold back the guards even if he was quickly beginning to fail to do so.

"And what do you brats think you are doing?" Tsunade asks glaring at the team that dared to force their way into her office. At this point Ino and Choji were already standing in front of her desk by Kakashi and Shikamaru seeing this finally gave up on trying to stop the ANBU from moving and walked to his teammates.

"Hokage-sama we don't mean to disrespect anyone. All are here for is to ask that you send us out to fight the missing ninja. Now before you say we are too weak know that we are the only people here that have seen their strange techniques in person. Anyone else would only have read about them. So, please Hokage-sama we NEED to do this." Shikamaru explained having spent a decent while thinking of the perfect way to say they wanted to force themselves into the attack team without falling victim to their Hokages vicious punches.

"Tsk…let me get this right you want me to send out a team of ninja that is filled with a bunch of brats that think they are big after two S class ninja. Ninja that are more than capable of attacking the temple by themselves and completely ravaging it." Tsunade told Team 10 who just continued to look at her determined to go after the ninja that killed a father figure to them. *sigh* "Well I have to admit you brats have seem to at least not be completely spineless fools if you are willing to go this far for this…but sadly you do not have a leader anymore meaning I can't send out your team." Tsunade told them

"I'll do it." Everyone heard and quickly turned their head towards Kakashi who was simply watching what was going on. "I can be their acting commander for this mission then you can decide who to put with them later." Kakashi told Tsunade with an eye smile. "After all these kids have a look in their eyes that I am well aware of. They will go after revenge no matter what we do at the moment….just as I tried my hardest to hunt down any survivors of THAT mission." Kakashi thought.

Tsunade then let out a sigh and simply looked at the four of them. "I still want to say no to your group but I am almost certain that if I did you would just escape from the village and do it anyway….ok." She finally told them after a few minutes of thinking. "BUT know that I am going to send out a team of ANBU as well so that if they ever see that you are going to be on the losing end of the battle they will come in and finish the job and you will let them do just that, without trying to 'help them' and ending up in their way. If you do I will make you regret it…understood?" Tsunade told them with a glare and some KI at the end.

"Y-yes Hokage-sama. Thank you." Shikamaru told her happy that they could go after their target and his teammate again.

"So, we will meet in three hours to plan and then head out after them." Kakashi told the team 10.

"Sensei we are already ready." Ino told him.

"That may be but I am not set up for a mission yet. Also, I need to meet up with the scanners and see if they can pinpoint where our targets are right now. They may be doing something to hide from the scan but if I let the team know that two high chakra levels are out there they should be able to focus on anything weird a bit better." Kakashi explained making the group nod then head out the office.

"Oh, and Kakshi bring me Naruto and Yamato" Tsunade ordered the man who gave a small nod before leaving himself. She then glanced at one of the ANBU that have yet to go back to their hiding spots. "One of you go bring me the rest of team 7." She added.

+Little while later+

"You needed us Lady Tsunade?" Sakura asks with Sai next to her.

"Yes, but let's wait for the blond idiot to show up before I explain." Tsunade told them. Course they didn't have to wait too long before Naruto barged into the room with Yamato walking in behind him.

"You need something Ba-chan?" Naruto asks uncaring making Tsunade shake in rage.

*sigh* "Let me" Sakura told her before walking up to Naruto and hitting him square in the face launching him through the wall and the wall outside of the office.

"Thank you Sakura." Tsunade told the girl who just nodded at her. They both knew she was moments away from destroying her desk to get close enough to hit the blond herself…and she was already on her third desk this week. Still they only had to wait a little while before Naruto reentered the room with a red mark still visible on his face. "Anyways now that Yamato and the idiot are here I can explain why I called you. You see Team 10 is soon to be going after two S class targets that have entered the outskirts of Konoha. I wish to send your team out as support for them. They may be strong in their own right but against two S class ninja they don't have a good chance…you will go even up the odds for us." Tsunade told the team before looking at Naruto. "Now, you all will leave tomorrow morning to meet up with their team. BUT Naruto if you don't complete your jutsu before then than I will have no choice but to put someone else on this mission. Understood?" Tsunade added.

"Hai" all of team 7 told her at the same time before Naruto turned to Yamato.

"Come on sensei we are wasting time. I need to go finish this jutsu ASAP." Naruto told his sensei. "Ino-chan I know you needed to do this but I can help but feel worried about you…but don't worry I will make sure I come to back you up." Naruto thought determined.

"Heh, good the brat is fired up…I knew that would be the perfect thing to light a fire under him. Like I would send someone other than him…after all the reason I picked their team was because two of them have been trained by us Sannin and the brat has jinchuriki powers to add to it…though I would be lying even to myself if I didn't admit I was picking favorites just a little bit. But I mean I am the Hokage, I can do whatever the hell I want…fuck the council. Besides the brat needs to see where he lands against the Akatsuki now that he has trained for years." Tsunade thought before going back to trying to defeat her largest enemy yet; paperwork.

ANE: So I don't know what to call these so I will just be calling this an otmake. They will be part of the story but also don't really fit the mood of the chapter so I don't want to just stick it in other than in this. But basically this is to help put characters in that I haven't used much just to give them some 'screen time'.

_Hanabi and Moegi_

(after leaving her house to go shopping)

"Come on Hanabi hurry up" Moegi told her friend as she ran through the village. Meanwhile Hanabi just continued through the village.

"The store is not gonna close anytime soon Moegi. There is no need to rush." She told the hyper girl calmly causing said girl to run back to her simply looking at her in confusion.

"But why not? I mean all we are doing is wasting time going so slow."

*sigh* "Yes we are technically wasting time but we are also just being normal civilians. We don't always have to rush around like a ninja on a mission. How about just taking some time to relax and act like a proper high-class woman." Hanabi told her.

"High-class? I hate to tell you but both my parents are civilians…I haven't been a 'high-class woman' all my life." Moegi told her simply. For even though her family never was hurting for money they also didn't have loads of money to waste on trying to act like the richer people.

"…so you have never even tried to get dressed up or anything?" Hanabi asked in disbelief.

"No I don't think I have….I don't really even go out splurging on clothes all that often either." She told her with a shrug.

"…ok new plan." Hanabi told the girl but continued walking in the same direction.

"Oh, and what is the plan now?" Moegi asks only to be ignored. "Come on at least a hint…please." She continued only to have to continue walking to follow the quiet girl.

~Spa~ (don't care if they don't have one they do in this)

"I thought we were going for clothes?" Moegi asks looking at the store front in confusion.

"Yes we were. But after hearing that you never having gotten properly dressed up has made this a full work up instead." Hanabi tells her simply holding the door open.

"Umm not to ruin your plan…but I don't think my allowance will let me do this." Moegi answers awkwardly already seeing hefty prices in their future.

"Don't worry about that. I will be paying for all of it today." Hanabi tells her simply.

"Really!?" Moegi asks stunned

"Yes I mean what are friends for?" She asks with a small smile. "…besides I need to make sure you won't talk about what you saw." She muttered but Moegi could still hear her.

"Why is she so focused on that? I mean sure its weird to have those books but loads of women read those occasionally…but hey if she wants to give me a free spa treatment then I won't complain." Moegi thinks with a sweat drop but still goes along with it. For while she felt that she taking advantage of her friend but knew that her clan had plenty of money to spare. Plus, she didn't even mention wanting to do this pricier plan. So, after hesitating for a little while she follower Hanabi into the business.

"Welcome how may we help you?" one of the staff ask the girls kindly.

"Two for the full package" Hanabi told the woman calmly and sat down in one of the chairs with Moegi following her lead. They then enjoyed their full spa treatment which to Moegi was a completely new experience. (Not going into detail here seeing as I haven't had a spa treatment myself and would just look like a fool if I tried) Finally though after a good while both girls left the building looking much more refreshed and even had a light amount of make-up on to accent their features.

"Wow Hanabi-chan. I can see why you get this done." Moegi tells the girl with a wide smile. For she hasn't felt this relaxed in what seemed like ages.

"Well of course. Just stick with me and I will make sure you get time to be a real girl instead of having to follow around those two boys." Hanabi tells her making Moegi frown.

"Hey…they may be weird at times but they still are my friends!" She told her.

"Oh…I didn't mean that as an insult even if Konohamaru-san is a bit….annoying at times…I just meant that a girl shouldn't have to spend all of her time around only boys." Hanabi explains.

"Hmm…you know I really don't have that many girl friends to spend time with really."

"Well then let's both change that problem of our lives." Hanabi tells the girl with an actual smile. For she finally actually was beginning to truly enjoy Moegi's company. "Still, we must continue our plans…now come on." Hanabi orders the girl dragging her by the hand.

"Ok" was all Moegi simply said letting herself be dragged forward. The two girls then walk until finally reaching a clothing store that they entered without hesitation this time.

+one hour later+

Finally, we find both younger girls finally walking out of the clothing store they entered boasting a new outfit on each of their figures. For after browsing through the store happily they finally found sets of clothes that suited their tastes. Though Hanabi did have to spend some time getting Moegi to pick focusing on the looks of the clothes rather than the price. But said girl finally did just that and Hanabi paid for the clothes and sealed their old clothes in a small scroll she had on hand.

"There. Now we look like dignified women" Hanabi states happily.

"Yes I do agree that I have to look better…and you look stunning" Moegi honestly answers surprised just how beautiful the Hyuuga girl could be. Course she also now understood why a good portion of the boys their age kept an eye on her. "…but do you really think I am ok to wear this?" Moegi asks looking down.

"What do you mean?" Hanabi asks confused.

"I-I mean I am just a tomboy. I'll never be able to look as attractive as you or many other girls are able to, even after all of this." Moegi states honestly with a frown only to feel a firm hand on her shoulder.

"Moegi-san stop putting yourself down so much. First of all; all woman are capable of looking physically beautiful as long as they accent what they were given. But most importantly you need to believe in yourself for this look to work." Hanabi states.

"But I am just a tomboy! There is a reason I don't do this normally! I mean I don't even like using make-up even after mother tried teaching me!" Moegi states not believing the girl. Course Hanabi was going to continue trying to cheer the self-depreciating girl up but was stopped when she noticed Konohamaru coming towards them.

"Oy Hanabi-chan!" Konohamaru called out happily to her and quickly stopped right in front of them.

"Konohamaru-san….I believe I have asked you to stop calling for me using such close terms several times already." Hanabi states coldly. For she had no desire to be thought of as close to such an annoying character.

"Ah you'll warm up to it eventually." Konohamaru told her waving off her cold words. "Anyways I was just wanting to- Moegi!" he stated then finally realized who the girl next to Hanabi was. "Y-you look different." He states stunned.

For Moegi's hair was now straightened and going down her back while her bangs were still pushed to either side letting everyone see her face where the make-up was showing off even more of her natural feminine charm.

"Yea, I know I look weird Konohamaru-kun. Laugh it up." Moegi tells the stunned boy.

"No! No. You look good I just wasn't expecting you to look so stunning….I mean! Girly!" Konohamaru tells her with a large blush forming on his cheeks.

"Really? You don't think this is too much?" She asks turning a bit to show the full outfit.

"N-no way you look great." Konohamaru states with the blush of embarrassment still on his face.

"Oh, what is this. The 'mighty' Konohamaru left defeated by one pretty girl?" Hanabi asks making Konohamaru go completely red as he focuses on her instead.

"S-shut up! I'm not stunned…i-it's just unexpected." He tells them. "A-anyways I need to go. I'll see you girls around!" He states and fleas before he embarrasses himself more. But just before he completely leaves he takes one look back "Oh, and Moegi….maybe you might want to start leaving your hair like that more often…." Konohamaru tells her then quickly realizes what he said. "I-I mean if you want to. It might be better for when we get missions." He adds then fully leaves the girls alone.

"You know…maybe you are truly right about this spa day being really worth it." Moegi states still looking at the fleeing boy. "D-do you think you can help me figure out more about how to produce this look?" Moegi asks with a blush making Hanabi smile.

"I would be glad to." She states and thus they truly cemented their friendship into the records.

Hey readers I think this is where I am going to end this one. I know it is a short chapter but I was really busy these past few weeks with stuff that I needed to do in real life…normally this wouldn't affect the story all that much seeing as I would suck it up and write till it's done but this time I just didn't have that option. Yesterday I helped a friend move hay bales into their barn for 6 hours and thanks to that I was too tired to do anything else that day and slept. Today I promised that I would go do something with my family that will keep me away from working on this most of the day. Finally tomorrow I have to go to one of my family's friends graduation party. Said friend lives a decent ways away from me so I haven't seen them in ages…so clearly I am going to take all the time I can get with them and their family.

So, anyways what I am saying in a nutshell is that I am sorry that I was too busy to write this full chapter and instead cut it off right before the fight. I was just too busy with stuff to be able to write. Get mad if you want but this comes second to several things in my life. Ja Ne.
