"Hey Miko, how`s your arm?" Rei asked as she walked up to Miko as it was lunchtime. "It still hurts, but it`s getting better" Miko replied as Ishigami came back with a drink." Here I got you your drink," said Ishigami. "Can you open it for me?" Miko asked to which Ishigami did as he was told. "Here," said Ishigami as he put the drink to Miko`s mouth to which she sipped.

"I`m gonna take care of some business, let me know if you need anything else," said Ishigami as he stepped out, "Wow, you literally have Ishigami at your palms now," said Rei. "Serves him right, he`s always teasing me," said Miko as she looked through some notes from math. "Wow, hang in there Ishigami," Rei thought as went back to her seat.

Later

"Ishigami, I want to go shopping, come with me," said Miko as they were walking down the hall as school was over. "Give me a break, I wanted to play video games today, go ask Kobachi or something," said Ishigami. "Did you forget who caused all this to happen? Besides Koba-Chan is busy with some work today" Miko asked to which Ishigami decided it was best not to say anything else. "Alright, fair point, let`s go," said Ishigami as he didn`t have much of a choice.

Shopping, a popular pastime for men and women alike. It`s the haven for spending all your money and picking up the ladies there. Some people however don`t enjoy going to big malls to shop and would rather shop online, Yu Ishigami is one of those people.

At the mall

"Do all girls buy this much stuff?" Ishigami asked as he was carrying Miko`s shopping bags, "Stop complaining so much, you`re a man aren`t you?" said Miko to which Ishigami was about to respond back, but decided it was best not to. "What`s wrong?" Ishigami asked as he noticed that Miko was looking down at the floor below them.

"Is that Shirogane-senpai and Shinomiya-senpai?" said Miko as they noticed the two walking through the mall. "Yeah I think it is," said Ishigami as he looked closer, "Not bad President," Ishigami thought with a smirk on his face. "That`s indec-" Miko was about to shout before Ishigami covered her mouth. "Shh, don`t yell," said Ishigami as he didn`t want to blow their cover.

"Oh Miko," said Chika as she saw the two walking together. "I`m just shopping for some new clothes," said Miko. "Oh? Are you two on a date by any chance? You even have Ishigami as a servant" Chika asked to which the two turned red. "No why would I be on a date with him of all people?" Miko replied in disbelief. "That`s right, the world will end when we finally decide to date" Ishigami retorted to which Chika couldn`t help but chuckle watching her two underclassmen bicker with each other. Anyways, have fun on your date" Chika said mischievously as she walked away leaving the two red as tomatoes.

"Is that Tsubame-senpai?" Ishigami thought as he noticed that Tsubame was sitting down with a fortune teller. "I`ve been having this issue regarding love," said Tsubame. "What might that be?" the fortune-teller asked her. "Why do people confess their feelings even when some know that their love might be unrequited?" Tsubame asked. "Before I answer that question, may I see your palm?" the fortune-teller asked. "Sure," said Tsubame as she put out her palm to the fortune teller.

Flashback

"This isn`t what it looks like," said a male student as Tsubame stood there in complete shock as her boyfriend was with another girl who was one of Tsubame`s friends. "Save it, there`s no use denying it," Tsubame said in tears. "Why would you do this to me?" Tsubame asked as her boyfriend was cheating on her with one of her friends. "You`re too plain, I was tired of never getting anywhere," said the male student as the two walked away leaving Tsubame alone. "Why? Why did this have to happen to me?" Tsubame thought as she burst into tears from the betrayal she had just experienced.

"I see, you have been through a lot in the past, you`re a very pure person," said the fortune-teller. "Yes my last boyfriend and I fought a lot, but how did you know?" Tsubame asked. "I could tell from seeing your expression and your overindulgence when it comes to shopping, but let me explain the answer to your question, love is like a contract between a man and a woman, however during anything relationship, there will be thorns in the path as said contract can fall apart in an instant. You`re having issues with a boy regarding love, I can tell from your expression" said the fortune-teller. "That`s just it, there`s this underclassman I`ve been with for a while, he`s really nice and noble and not like any of the other boys I`ve been with, but the truth is I don`t understand how I really feel about him, do I actually like him or not? If I do, I`m worried that I might not be making the right choice" Tsubame explained.

"You have a lot of doubt in yourself given your bad experience with men. But in order to truly understand true love, you need to let go of your past and cut ahead even if it hurts the people closest to you," said the fortune-teller. "What do you mean by that?" Tsubame asked. "That is for you to figure out on your own," said the fortune teller to which Tsubame nodded. "By the way, I heard this charm works well when it comes to dealing with love 1000 yen," said the fortune-teller as he held up a charm. "I`ll take it," said Tsubame as she placed a 1000 yen bill on the table. as she got up to which the fortune-teller took off his hood.

"By the way, you shouldn`t really trust what fortune-tellers tell you, they`re not always accurate, if you want to understand true love use your brain, fate doesn`t work the same way for everyone, the only person who can control this situation is yourself," said the fortune-teller. "Thank you," said Tsubame as she walked away.

"Ishigami what are you doing?" Miko asked as she saw Ishigami staring in a different direction. "Oh uh, just thinking about what video game I wanna buy later" Ishigami quickly said. "Whatever, let`s get some food, I`m starving," said Miko, "When aren`t you hungry?" Ishigami thought as they walked over to the food court.

"I guess it all makes sense now, I guess the most innocent people usually have dark pasts," Ishigami thought as he sipped his drink as they were at the food court. "Something on your mind?" Miko asked as she noticed that Ishigami was pondering on something. "No, it`s nothing" Ishigami replied as he took a bite of his fries. "You`re hiding something, tell me what`s wrong," said Miko as she knew something was bothering Ishigami.

"It`s nothing, just worried about what`s going to be on the next math test" Ishigami. "Yeah, I`m worried about how you`ll do on that test, anyways Fujiwara-senpai wanted me to go with her to the game store, so you have some time to yourself," said Miko as she got up. "Alright cool, where should we meet back up?" Ishigami asked. "Meet at the fountain in half an hour," said Miko as she walked away. "Got some free time now, guess I`ll go to the video game store," Ishigami thought as he got up.

20 minutes later

"Well there goes my allowance for the next few weeks," Ishigami thought as he walked out of the video game store after buying some games."Yu-Kun, what are you doing here?" Tsubame asked as she walked up to Ishigami. "Oh hey, seems like you were busy today" Ishigami replied as he noticed the shopping bags Tsubame was carrying, "I came to help Miko with shopping since you know her arm" Ishigami added. "Hey, do you have a bit of time right now? There`s something I want to talk to you about," said Tsubame. "Yeah I got some time," said Ishigami as the two walked somewhere they could talk in private.

15 minutes later

"Where did he go? He said to meet back up here" Miko thought as she was looking for Ishigami. "There he is," said Miko as she walked towards Ishigami before seeing Tsubame approaching Ishigami. "What`s she doing here? Is she trying to lure Ishigami back? I better listen in on their conversation" Miko thought as she sat on a bench behind them.

"So how`s Iino`s arm?" Tsubame asked. "It`s still the same old thing, she still needs me to help her carry stuff and feed her" Ishigami replied to which Tsubame chuckled. "I guess despite the fact that you two bicker like cats and dogs, you two do care about one another," said Tsubame which caused Ishigami and Miko to turn red. "Hold on, Miko is just a fellow Student Council member, we`re barely friends," Ishigami said in embarrassment. "That`s right, me? End up with him? Not in a million years" Miko thought. "I`m sure you two will realize how important it is to have each other by your side," said Tsubame. "I see, so what did you want to talk about?" Ishigami asked as he wanted to get back on track.

"Yu-Kun, I know that what happened on Christmas Eve was so sudden for you, I`m sorry about that, it must have been painful for you," said Tsubame. "It`s alright, it was insensitive of me to after everything you`ve been through, maybe it was wrong for me to confess to you when you were in a vulnerable state" Ishigami replied. "Wait so you heard everything," Tsubame asked to which Ishigami nodded. "Yeah, I saw you with the fortune-teller," said Ishigami. "I see," said Tsubame as she realized that Ishigami had heard everything about her past love life. "But it doesn`t change how I view you as a lady," said Ishigami which gave Tsubame some relief.

"Yu-Kun, do you still feel the same way about me?" Tsubame asked much to the surprise of Ishigami. "To be honest, in a way I do, but I`m not sure where my heart is at the moment, I think I need some time as well" Ishigami replied to which Tsubame nodded. "I understand, take the time you need, I don`t need an answer right away," said Tsubame to which Ishigami nodded. "I should get going, see you around Yu-Kun," said Tsubame as she got up and walked away leaving Ishigami by himself.

"Man, is this really the right call? On one hand, I`m happy that things with Tsubame aren`t exactly over, but given the circumstances, my chances are pretty low, ever since I was forced to aid Miko, why is my heart drifting further from Tsubame? Is it because someone actually needs me? But this is Miko we`re talking about, my arch-nemesis who always finds a reason to yell at me" Ishigami thought as he reflected on the current situation.

"Are you kidding me? That dimwit is still trying his luck with her?" Miko thought as she couldn`t believe what she had just heard. "Ah, he`s getting up," said Miko as she saw Ishigami get up to which she approached him from the other side. "Where were you?" Miko asked as she walked up to Ishigami much to his surprise. "Oh, I was talking with Tsubame, wasn`t expecting her to be at the mall today" Ishigami replied which seemed to annoy Miko.

"Tsubame, Tsubame, it`s always her, if you like her so much, why don`t you go be with her!" Miko shouted as she grabbed her shopping bags with one arm. "Okay, maybe I will, at least she`s nicer than you" Ishigami replied as the two walked in separate directions.

"What`s up with her, why does she seem to have a stick up her ass?" Ishigami thought as he still wondered why Miko yelled at him. "Ishigami?" said a voice. "Oh President, what`s up?" said Ishigami as Miyuki walked up to him. "Just shopping with Shinomiya, what about you?" Miyuki asked. "Oh Miko dragged me here to have me carry her bags you know with her arm and all" Ishigami replied.

"Where is she?" Miyuki asked as he noticed Miko wasn`t with Ishigami. "We had a bit of an argument so she stormed off" Ishigami explained. 'What happened between you two?" Miyuki asked. "Oh she found out I was talking with Tsubame and then she got pretty mad and yelled at me for no reason" Ishigami explained. "I see, well never thought I`d see Miko show signs of jealously," Miyuki thought. "You should go back to her, she could hurt herself more if she`s by herself, I know you two still don`t get along well, but remember Miko trusted you to aid her, the least you can do is stay by her side until then" Miyuki replied to which Ishigami rubbed the back of his head. "Guess I don`t have much of a choice," said Ishigami as he picked himself up and went to look for Miko. "These two, I wonder when they`ll realize their feelings for each other?" Miyuki thought.

"There you are," said Ishigami as he saw Miko sitting by herself. "What are you still doing here? I thought you would be Tsubame since you like her so much" Miko asked to which Ishigami sighed as he knew arguing back wouldn`t help. "Look let`s not argue here, why don`t I just take you home if you`re not feeling it?" Ishigami asked. "Yeah I guess," said Miko as she got up to which Ishigami picked up her bags as the two walked out of the mall.

Later

"Here we are," said Miko as Ishigami helped open the door to her place. "Anyone home? Nice place" Ishigami asked as he put the bags on a table. "No only me, my parents are working at the moment" Miko replied. "I see, it must get really lonely here" Ishigami replied as he looked around. "You want something to drink?" Miko asked as she opened the fridge. "You got cola?" Ishigami asked. "Sure," said Miko as she grabbed a drink and put it in front of Ishigami.

"Listen, I`m sorry for yelling at you at the mall earlier," said Miko as she broke the silence between the two. "I suppose it`s alright, things haven`t exactly been easy for any of us" Ishigami replied as he took a sip of his cola. "By the way, what did Tsubame talk to you about?" Miko asked. "Oh, she just apologized about how things went on Christmas Eve" Ishigami replied. "Was that it?" Miko asked as she didn`t believe that was all they talked about.

"Crap, why is she so persistent in knowing about this," Ishigami thought, "I guess there would be no use trying to hide it, not like she`s gonna let me leave unless I fess up" Ishigami pondered as he knew Miko would pry the information out of him one way or another. "She asked if I still felt the same way towards her" Ishigami replied. "Well do you?" Miko asked. "Well, I told her to give me some time to think about it, I`m not sure if I want to try again so soon" Ishigami replied. "Oh? Why is that? I thought you would try to jump back into the ship knowing you" said Miko as she took a sip from her drink. "That is true, but I think I`m also having eyes for a certain someone," said Ishigami which caused Miko to raise an eyebrow. "Who is this other person?" Miko asked much to the surprise of Ishigami.

"It`s getting late, I better get going now, see you tomorrow," Ishigami said as he quickly grabbed his things and left before Miko could press him anymore. "Wait, you didn`t answer my question," said Miko as she got up from the table. "Wait a second, who is this other person that Ishigami has eyes for, is it another girl? Is Ishigami becoming a player now? Whatever the case might be, I cannot let this slide, prepare yourself Ishigami" Miko proclaimed.

"Achoo," said Ishigami as he sneezed. "I think I just felt a disturbing force somewhere," Ishigami thought as he wiped his nose.

Results of Battle: Miko and Ishigami lose

Hope you all enjoyed the chapter, I know I haven`t updated in a while, I`ve been pretty busy with my job, so I`m not too sure if I can finish my fanfics particularly this one and The Secretary and the Treasurer. This chapter is basically a rewrite of Chapter 160 of the manga expect it focuses more on Ishigami and Miko rather than Kaguya and Shirogane.
