You're A Wizard, Harry

When I first met Hagrid he said, "You're a wizard, Harry."

From that day on, I've had a burden that's hard to carry.

Everyone in the Wizarding world knows

Exactly how my legend goes.

It starts with myself as a one year old,

And a being with powers untold.

My parents ended up dead.

Many tears of sadness were shed.

But not everything was said and done,

He still had to murder the baby that was one.

Something in his spell went weird,

The one that all had feared,

Had just disappeared.

So I lived, and ended up staying with my cousin, uncle and aunt.

I was burdened with so many chores I feel like I should stop and pant.

And so the years went by,

I was just a semi-normal guy.

Then I met Hagrid and everything changed.

My next seven years had been arranged.

For the first couple terms everything was great,

Better than my life had been to date.

But when I saved the Sorcerers(Philosophers) Stone,

Again I felt that I was alone.

Sometimes I wonder,

What my life would be like if it hadn't been torn asunder.

And even though I know,

That my life would probably still blow

Some days I like to dream,

Lord Voldemort had never come up with his scheme.

I imagine a future that would be contrary,

To the day Hagrid said, "You're a wizard, Harry."

AN: Please review, even if it's just to say good job, or whatever. It really means a lot. And in this context, aunt is pronounced like ant, just FYI.
