So I've been thinking about making this story for a while now. The Owl House is an awesome show and I've always dreamed of going to a magic school if it were real. I love all kinds of magic but my favorite ones are Plants and Beast-Keeping. Enjoy the story!
It was a beautiful sunny day outside. The sun was shining and the birds were singing. Flowers bloomed in the sun's rays and insects gathered around them. In the dormitories, Nikita woke up in her room to get ready for the day. She got out her witch's uniform to wear for her classes at Hexside School of Magic and Demonics. Her witch uniform had orange sleeves for Beast-Keeping and green leggings for Plants. Those were her favorite tracks because she was a nature person.
"Okay. Today's a new day and a new beginning. Time to go take a shower, get breakfast and meet up with Luz and the others for another wonderful day at Hexside." Nikita said.
As she was leaving her room, her swan palisman Yuki flew by her side. She always follows Nikita everywhere she goes and sticks by her at all times. Yuki chose her to be her partner after Nikita stated that she wanted to be an expert on wildlife on the Boiling Isles. She loved her palisman very much and took extra special care of her.
"Come on, Yuki. We need to hurry to get to breakfast." Nikita said.
She grabbed her books and headed to the cafeteria with Yuki following behind. They left the girls dormitory and headed to the school so they could meet their friends at breakfast. All the other students were awake too and were heading to the cafeteria to meet their friends as well. Once inside the school, Nikita and Yuki went down to the cafeteria to get breakfast. Nikita got some pancakes with maple syrup and apple juice.
"Nikki! Over here!" A voice shouted.
Nikita looked around and saw Luz, Willow, and Gus sitting together at a table. She took her breakfast and went over to sit with them. Yuki flew over and sat next to Willow's bee palisman Clover and Gus's chameleon palisman. The three got along pretty well with each other and so did their owners.
"Hey, guys!" Nikita said. "Hi, Nikki! How's your day today?" Luz asked. "It's going great so far." Nikita said. "I wonder what exciting things we're going to learn today…" Luz said.
The friends started eating breakfast as they thought of what new kinds of magic they'll be learning from their classes. Willow is in the Plant track, Gus is in the Illusion track, Nikita is in the Beast-Keeping and Plant tracks, and Luz is in all the tracks. They loved being in school and learning magic in the different tracks Hexside offered.
"Mmm! These pancakes are delicious." Nikita said. "They sure are! No one makes them better than the lunch ladies." Gus said. "These waffles are very tasty too." Willow said. "You can say that again." Luz said.
The four friends enjoyed eating breakfast and talking together. They liked hanging out with each other during and after school. They did a bunch of things together, like reading books at the library or practicing their magic together. They even had palisman races with their palisman where they'd see who's palisman was the fastest. Suddenly, the bell started ringing and everyone was getting ready to start the day.
"Well, guess we should start heading to class now." Nikita said. "Yeah. We're supposed to have a big test today." Willow said. "Good thing we've been studying all night." Luz said. "That's right. I'm fully prepared for anything they throw at us." Gus said. "Well, guess we should be going, see ya." Nikita said.
The four friends said goodbye to each other before heading off to their first class of the day. Since she was in two tracks, Nikita had to take classes for both Plants and Beast-Keeping. She headed to her classroom with Willow along with Yuki and Clover following them behind. They went to their seats and waited for their teacher to begin class. The two girls wondered what kind of new plant magic they'll learn today.
"I can't wait to find out what we'll be learning about today." Nikita said. "Me too! I've been studying real hard on my plant magic." Willow said.
Then the teacher arrived and told everyone to be silent. Everyone did as they're told and soon the room was filled with silence. The teacher started writing on the chalkboard as everyone watched. Nikita and Willow paid extra special attention to what the teacher was doing. The teacher wrote her name and the class assignment for the day.
"Good morning, class." The teacher said. "Today we have a bunch of work we need to get through."
Everyone got out their books to begin the class. They've each been practicing their plant magic and worked really hard on their schoolwork. Willow enjoyed doing plant magic very much, she even has lots of different types of plants in her dorm room and bedroom at her house. Nikita also had been studying plant magic as well. Since she was in the multi-track system, she had to make time to study Beast-Keeping and Plants.
"So, did everyone do their homework assignment last night?" The teacher asked. "Yes, teacher." Everyone said in unison. "Great! Now let's get started on our first assignment." The teacher said. "Who wants to volunteer first?"
Everyone raised their hands, eager to go first. They've all been waiting to show off their new skills in plant magic to their teacher. Nikita and Willow were especially excited to show their classmates what they've been practicing. The two girls have been studying real hard for their homework assignment.
"Let's see, how about...Willow, would you like to go first?" The teacher asked. "Oh! Well, sure! I'd love to go first." Willow said.
She went to the front of the room and stared towards the rest of the class. She took a deep breath and prepared her spell. Willow held out her hands and did two spell circles. As she was doing her spell, plant vines started coming out of the spell circles. Everyone watched in awe as Willow performed her plant magic for them.
"You go, girl!" Nikita shouted. "Yeah! This is awesome!" Another student shouted.
Willow continued performing her spell as the vines began to spell out a letter with flowers sprouting from on it. Once the spell was complete, the vines spelled Willow's name on it. Everyone cheered as Willow bowed to her class. Nikita stood up and clapped the loudest for her friend.
"That was fantastic, Ms. Park!" The teacher said, impressed. "Thanks. I'm glad to perform for my class any time." Willow said.
Then just as the teacher was about to pick another student, the PSA turned on and Principal Bump's voice was heard over the microphone.
"Attention, students. This is a very important message. All students and staff are to report to the courtyard for a very special announcement." Bump said. "Oh! Okay. Well then...guess we should head to the courtyard, class." The teacher said.
Everyone got up from their seats and headed straight towards the hallway. They walked alongside the other students as they headed for the courtyard outside. Nikita and Willow walked together as they searched for their friends. Everyone started to wonder what was the special occasion and why Principal Bump wanted them to meet him outside. What could the special occasion be?
