Harry was curled up in his mother's arms in the bed in the master bedroom as she lay down on the bed, smiling lovingly at her baby and stroking him. It was the morning of July 31st, and Harry had turned one today.

As Harry rolled himself into Lily to snuggle with her, she kissed his nose and softly said, "Good Morning Sweetheart, do you know what today is? It's your birthday, and my baby Harry is now one year old." Harry turned to look into Lily's face before stretching his arms out towards her. Lily got up and cradled Harry in her arms before proceeding to hug him and kiss him all over his face.

James who was right next to her, having just brushed his teeth, kissed Harry on his forehead and hugged him saying, "Happy Birthday Harry. Now Prongslet, let's get you washed up and ready for today."

Sometime later, Severus and Marlene who had decided to join the Potters for breakfast were in the dining room holding Harry who was dressed in a blue onesie.

Severus said, "Happy Birthday my little Snake. I just can't believe that you are one year old! But please, do not grow up too fast!"

Marlene cooed, "Happy Birthday my little green eyed baby! You look so amazing in that cute little onesie! Aww, I just want to eat you up some day. Maybe I'll eat you for dinner tonight. Can I?"

Severus leaned over and made a chomping noise as he pretended to take a bite out of Harry's tummy. Marlene feigned anger towards him and said, "Absolutely not Sev, I've already booked him for tonight. So you don't get to eat him." Severus put on a hurt look and said, "But he's my godson! How come Aunt Marlene gets to eat you, Harry, and Uncle Sev doesn't? Not fair! Maybe I should turn you both into some potions ingredients."

Just then, Lily came out of the kitchen with a couple of plates with freshly made chocolate chip pancakes with some whipped butter on each and said, "Well, as his mother, I have full reign over him, which means that only I get to decide who gobbles him up. Isn't that right my lovely baby?" Harry simply beamed at Lily and stretched out his hands crying out, "Mama! Mama! Eeeeeee!"

Lily set Harry in his high chair and said, "You want me to eat you? Oh yes you do!" She pretended to gobble him up in one bite and then kissed him tenderly before proceeding to set Harry's bowl of mixed applesauce and carrot before him to feed him.

As they were eating, Severus said to Lily, "Lily, guess what! I finally made a new spell today! Its purpose is to put the victim into a coma for 12 hours. It's as if you've been hit by the killing curse, except that you're not dead but comatose."

Lily asked, "Has that spell been tested?"

Severus replied, "I used it during the last battle I had with a Death Eater. He was placed under observation after I used it on him. He was alright after 12 hours. He woke up feeling just fine. No memory loss or any such thing. The spell is Fio Somniculosus."

James came into the dining room and said, "Congratulations Sev. With spells like that, we might be able to win the war."

Severus smiled and said, "Thanks James. I'm only going to share it with order members though. Anyway, let's not worry about the war. We have our Dear Harry's birthday to celebrate."

Soon after breakfast, Sirius, Amelia, Remus, Peter, Dumbledore, and McGonagall arrived. They all cooed over Harry and wished him Happy Birthday. Soon afterwards, Alice and Frank arrived. It had been decided that since Harry and Neville were born on two consecutive days (Neville first on the 30th) this birthday party would be held for both of them. So of course, everyone cooed all over Neville and wished him Happy Birthday. Later on, Lewis and Alexandria, Andrew and Eliza as well as Arthur and Molly arrived with their children. Soon, all the children were in the backyard playing on some picnic mats that Lily, James, Marlene and Severus had spread out.

As the children played with each other, Severus and Sirius were standing along with Gideon and Fabian, who had also decided to come.

Gideon said, "You know, it's always hard these days to find such joy without hearing about an attack the next day. I'm more than happy that our children are able to happily play along with each other."

Severus added, "I agree with you Gideon. These kinds of things happen all the time these days. Some days after Harry was born, there was an attack in Edinburgh. Barely 24 hours after Marlene and I went out to watch a Muggle movie one night, Voldemort attacked Central London. It failed, thanks to Dumbledore."

Fabian spoke up, "There's also some outsider whose been helping us. Won't come to any meeting though. It would be nice if they could join."

Since September 1980, someone had been helping the Order by passing information. Dumbledore however, would not reveal the identity of this person. Only a few knew including Severus, Sirius, Amelia, Remus, Lily and James about this agent, but even they had no idea as to whom the agent could be, although Sirius for some days had hoped that it would turn out to be Regulus Black. However, he had given up hope when Dumbledore had told him that it was not Regulus, but that it was a woman, and that she preferred to remain anonymous.

Severus and Sirius were interrupted from their thoughts about the matter when they heard Lily call out, "Time for cake!"

Everyone gathered around a table that had been set up nearby and Harry and Neville sat down on two decorated chairs next to each other. Neville was on Harry's right side and Ron was sitting on his left side. As Lily set the cake in front of Harry and Neville, everyone began to sing, "Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday Neville and Harry. Happy Birthday to you!"

Everyone cheered as Harry's and Neville's birthday cake was cut and Lily and Alice fed their boys some frosting. They then cut a few very small pieces of cake with a little frosting for the babies, as they were still gradually adjusting to solid foods. All the mothers present, particularly Molly, gave Lily approving looks, as they, along with Lily, felt that just tiny pieces with some frosting would be enough for one year olds.

Later on, Harry, Ron, Neville, Susan and Daphne were all playing with some toys on a picnic mat. Sirius came over to watch the babies, and Fabian decided to join him.

They suddenly heard Molly shouting, "Absolutely not, Fred and George! You are not going to play a single prank here! There are several one year olds here!"

Fabian quietly said to Sirius, "That's my nephews Fred and George. They're quite mischievous, both of them!"

Sirius replied, "James and I used to get plenty of detentions for the pranks we pulled off in Hogwarts! Perhaps they could…"

"Sirius no!" came the voice of McGonagall from behind them, "You and James were quite a handful enough! The school doesn't need any more mischief makers after what you and James did! And you are absolutely not going to train them to be pranksters, are you?!"

Sirius and Fabian burst out into peals of laughter and Sirius said, "Well, I doubt Lily would encourage that in Harry's case." McGonagall replied, "Oh I'm sure she won't!"

A few minutes later, Dumbledore came over and Harry crawled up to him and tried to hug him. In response, Dumbledore picked up Harry and smiled at him, even when Harry proceeded to pull his beard crying out, "Abooooooo".

Dumbledore looked surprised at that. A few moments later, he said, "Close enough to my name for now, my little one."

Harry then turned to Sirius and cried out, "Foo, Pafoo!"

Sirius beamed and took Harry from Dumbledore saying, "You're even closer my little Puppy, from 'Foo' to 'Pafoo'! You are so intelligent! Just like your Mama!"

"That, he is for sure." Severus' voice rang out as he approached them.

Some of the guests stayed on until the sunset after the party had ended late in the afternoon. Just after sunset, while Sirius was downstairs in the living room talking to James and Lily, Amelia was in the nursery upstairs, playing with Harry.

Harry held a stuffed bunny that Amelia had gotten him and looked at Amelia with wide eyes before calling out, "Ami". Amelia beckoned Harry over calling out, "Oh my cutie baby, come here my little Bunny, and give your Ami a hug." Harry stared at her for a few moments before crawling over to Amelia and climbing into her lap. Amelia hugged him and said softly, "You know, I'm quite hungry, and having you in my lap makes me want to gobble you up." Harry looked at her and smiled. Amelia quickly moved her face towards him and mimicked taking a bite out of him. She then cradled him and pretended to eat him. Harry went off into peals of laughter as she attacked his tummy. Suddenly, she heard a bark of laughter and turned around to see Sirius grinning.

That night, Sirius dropped Amelia home on his motorbike. At the gates of Bones Manor, she got of the motorbike after they stopped and removed her black helmet that Sirius had bought specifically for her. Handing it to Sirius, she said, "Remember, tomorrow you're invited to have dinner with all of us."

Sirius grinned and replied, "I sure won't forget Amy. Your wish is my command." He ended his statement with a dramatic bow.

Amelia leaned over and kissed Sirius before wishing him good night.
