DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN HARRY POTTER.

Poppy Pomfrey entered the hospital wing with Dumbledore. She was yelling, "So many reporters! This is disturbing my patients! As if what happened to Harry last night wasn't enough! He doesn't need reporters crowding around him!"

As they approached Lily and James, Lily turned to Poppy and asked, "Poppy, did you just say that there are reporters outside? Who all are waiting outside?"

Poppy was so angry that she had to take a few moments to breathe in and out before answering, "There's a whole bunch of reporters outside! Too many of them! All demanding to see the Boy-Who-Lived! For Merlin's sake, he's just a baby! Have they no sense at all?!"

She took a moment and then continued, "The only one outside that isn't a reporter is Molly Weasley."

Lily was surprised to hear that Molly was outside and said, "If it's Molly, then it's no problem." Amelia added, "I trust she'll see Harry in the right way."

A minute later, the doors opened and Molly Weasley rushed inside, straight towards Lily and James.

"Lily, James," Molly cried as she hugged them, "I heard you were attacked! I can't believe Peter betrayed you like that! I'm so glad you're all alive and alright!"

Lily hugged Molly and replied, "Thank you so much for your concern. Peter's been arrested by Severus. We're all ok now."

Molly turned to Harry who was in Lily's arms and kissed his forehead. Noticing Susan who was in Lily's lap, she kissed her forehead before proceeding to coo all over the two babies, without making any reference to Harry as the Boy-Who-Lived.

Just then, Dumbledore, who had been gone for a few minutes, returned to the hospital wing. As soon as he neared Lily and James, he smiled and waved to Harry and Susan.

He then turned to Lily and said, "The Lestranges may be in custody, but there are other Death Eaters out there waiting to be rounded up. Until then, I am afraid you will have to go into hiding."

James spoke up, "I've hidden long enough! I understand if it's for Lily and Harry, and for Amelia and Susan, but I myself do not wish to do nothing. Also, our house has been destroyed and we will need to move. Where are we going to hide?"

It was then that Molly spoke up, "You're all welcome to stay at the Burrow until then. Arthur and I will be more than happy to have you all over."

Lily spoke up hesitatingly, "Molly, we don't want to impose on you."

Molly implored, "Oh please, do not say no! You're not a burden on the family! We won't have any problem having you all over! We want to help you! I want to help you! Please let me hide you all! You, James, Harry, Amelia and Susan! We'll hide you all!"

Amelia started, "Molly, I…"

But Molly cut her off saying, "Absolutely not! Don't even think you're imposing on me! You're my friends and I want to help you!"

Dumbledore smiled and said, "That will be best Lily. The atmosphere will be good for all of you."

Lily smiled and said, "We accept. Molly, how can we ever thank you enough!"

She then turned to Amelia and said, "Amy, please don't say no this time! In fact, once we find a new house, James and I want you to move in with us! Not just you and Susan, but Sirius, Marlene and Severus! Please Amy do not say no to this!"

Amelia remained silent for a few moments before saying, "Alright. I will. Thank you so much Molly for helping us! Susan and I will surely hide with Lily, James and Harry. And Lily, when we do find a suitable place, I will surely be there with you."

Harry suddenly looked at Amelia and shouted, "AMI NO GO!"

Amelia smiled at Harry and picked him up saying, "I won't leave you like that again Harry. Susan and I will stay with you, okay?"

She kissed him on both cheeks and blew a raspberry on his tummy, sending him into peals of laughter.

James then turned to Dumbledore and said, "Dumbledore, I wish to help round up the remaining Death Eaters. They'll be disorganized, and I definitely want to help."

Dumbledore replied, "I'm not sure this is wise of you James."

James insisted, "I want to fight so that Harry and Susan can have a happy childhood! I will fight!"

Severus moved closer to James and held his shoulder saying, "If that's what it is James, I'm watching you. There's no way I'm going to let my brother in law fight by himself!"

Sirius clapped James on the back declaring, "I'm with you Prongs! Someone's got to watch your back!"

Remus took James' hand and shook it saying, "I'm coming with you James. I know I'm not an auror but that doesn't mean I can't be of any use."

Dumbledore looked at all of them and said, "If you insist on fighting, I suggest you all stick together. Look out for each other."

Lily looked at James worriedly and said, "James, please come back! I nearly lost you, and I can't lose you now!"

Severus held Lily's hand and said, "I will stay with him at all times and protect him Lily."

Lily hugged her husband and brother and said, "Please take care of yourselves! And please don't blindly rush off into every battle you see!"

Lily and James had been examined by Poppy, and she had declared them to be well enough and that it would be best if they went to the Burrow as soon as possible to avoid the nosy reporters that had gathered in Hogwarts. Luckily, Dumbledore, Minerva and Poppy, with some help from Andrew, Kingsley and Moody, had been able to hold off the reporters that had gathered in Hogwarts while everyone else had been on travelling to the Burrow.

It was now 6 pm. Lily and Amelia were gathered in the living room of the Burrow. Amelia was sitting on the carpet, playing with Harry, Susan and Ron, who was more than delighted to see his friends. Lily was holding a cute baby red haired girl.

"Look at you Ginny," Lily cooed, "You're so cute! You have beautiful red hair, just like your Mummy and me!"

The Marauders were in the kitchen talking to Arthur Weasley.

James was saying, "Thank you so much, Arthur. I don't know what we would have done if it had not been for you."

Arthur replied, "No need to thank me. Gideon and Fabian died bravely trying to save Amelia, Susan and Sirius. The least we can do in their honor is to help you."

Sirius sadly spoke, "I wish they didn't have to die that night! We owe it to them! I wish I could have somehow…"

Arthur said to Sirius, "You needed to help Amelia and Susan. You only did what you had to do. Don't blame yourself Sirius."

He then turned to James and said, "I'm so sorry for what happened to you. I can't believe it was Peter Pettigrew all this time!"

James replied, "I can't believe he would do this to us! What made him do it?!"

Remus said, "Harry always seemed to be uncomfortable around him ever since October or November last year. Only on a few occasions, he didn't cry when Peter held him."

Sirius added, "Yeah, I could never understand why. You remember the time that Moody came with us to visit? Harry wasn't scared even when Moody held him! He actually seemed fascinated by his magical eye!"

Severus said, "It makes sense! Peter joined Voldemort last year!"

Just then, Dumbledore, who was outside, came into the kitchen. He spoke, "Peter Pettigrew had been spying on us for more than a year according to our agent, speaking of which, she is just outside and wishes to speak to all of you."

Sirius asked, "Who is it?"

Dumbledore led them all to the front door and replied, "One of the last people you will expect."

Opening the front door, he called out, "You may come in now."

A few moments later, a lady with silver blonde hair entered the house, holding a baby. Sirius' jaw dropped in shock and disbelief as Dumbledore spoke, "Allow me to introduce our ally, Narcissa Malfoy."

Sirius' jaw was still hanging. James looked surprised. Severus, on the other hand, was not, having seen her earlier.

Sirius in disbelief asked, "Narcissa Malfoy! What are you doing here?!"

Narcissa looked at Sirius before replying a little coldly, "Doing whatever I have to do to protect my child from a bitch whom I once called my sister!"

Sirius retorted, "You see Andromeda as…"

But to his shock, Narcissa cut him off saying, "Not Andromeda, Bellatrix! Andromeda was right about her. I should have listened to her from the beginning!"

Remus asked, "Are you really the one who has been helping us for more than a year?"

Narcissa replied, "Yes. I would like to tell you about why I really started helping you. I wish for Lily to be present. She is a mother, and so am I."

James was astounded to hear what she had just said. He took a moment to collect himself before saying, "She's in the living room with the children."

Narcissa turned to Severus and spoke, "I have you to thank for those words you said to Lucius, which he spoke about when he was describing how 'foolish' you were to renounce the Dark Lord. Otherwise, I never would have realized just how evil Bellatrix truly is!"

James turned to Severus and asked, "Words? What words?"

Severus replied by asking, "You remember what I told you about the attack on Edinburgh, right?"

James nodded affirmatively.

Narcissa, Dumbledore, James, Sirius, Severus and Remus then followed Arthur into the living room where Molly was now with Lily, Amelia and the children.

Molly who was sitting next to Lily, immediately stood up upon seeing the group entering and said, "Albus, what can I do for you?"

Dumbledore motioned to Narcissa to step forward and announced, "This is Narcissa Malfoy. She has been helping us for the past one year. She wishes to speak about why she decided to become a spy for us."

Amelia asked rather coldly, "If this is Narcissa Malfoy, then where is her husband, Lucius Malfoy?"

Narcissa stiffened for a moment before saying sadly, "He's dead. He was killed by the Dark Lord."

Amelia had a confused expression on her face as she exclaimed, "What?! Lucius was one of Voldemort's top Death Eaters! He wanted to sacrifice my godson to Voldemort! How can it be true that he was killed by his own master?"

Dumbledore interrupted, "Amelia, please, I know you are angry for what he said that night, but please allow her to explain herself."

Narcissa said, "Lucius was wrong to say what he said. But please let me explain."

She then proceeded to tell them about how Lucius had spoken to her about the attack, describing her nightmare, Bellatrix's words, and how she had felt Draco suffering every time the Lestranges spoke about how children had been tortured in raids. Molly, Lily, and Amelia all gasped loudly when they heard what Bellatrix had said about sacrificing Draco to the dark lord.

"How could she?!" Molly nearly yelled on the verge of tears. Lily hugged Narcissa and cried out, "I am so sorry! How could she have said something like that?!"

Sirius exclaimed, "I always knew she was deranged but I never expected she'd say something like that about her own flesh and blood!"

Even Amelia had lost whatever resentment she had towards Narcissa because of Lucius' words.

Narcissa then proceeded to explain how she had been exposed by Peter Pettigrew that Halloween night, how Bellatrix had tried to take Draco from her to torture him and kill him, and how Lucius had died to save them. In the end, she burst into tears.

Severus then explained as to how he had seen her in front of the castle of Hogwarts and how she had been the one to tell him about Peter Pettigrew.

He then went up to her and said, "If it had not been for your information, Lily and James would have died that night. Thank you for saving us all."

Lily hugged Narcissa and said, "Thank you Narcissa. I will do whatever I can to help you."

Amelia added, "I'm so sorry for all that's happened to you."

Narcissa stated a little vehemently, "I just wish Lucius had listened earlier! Draco is fatherless now, all because of the Dark Lord!"

Dumbledore patted her shoulder saying, "There there, it's all right. It is true that he did not listen earlier. However, in the end, Lucius died as a father trying to protect his child, as a husband trying to protect his wife, not as a Death Eater."

Amelia went and hugged Narcissa saying, "We will do all that we can to help you."
