The date was November 5, 1981. The Marauders (minus Peter, who was no longer considered to be one) had begun to capture the remaining Death Eaters and turn them in. In order to protect his students, Moody had insisted on going with them.

Dumbledore had managed to clear Narcissa's name by explaining her role as a spy for the light to Barty Crouch, the head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. Crouch, a ruthless man had initially refused to believe it and had tried to arrest Narcissa. However, this had not happened, thanks to Dumbledore, Moody and Severus. James and Sirius had a particular distaste for Barty Crouch's policies. Even Severus, known to be ruthless at times, disapproved of Crouch's ruthlessness, especially after seeing the way he had treated Narcissa.

24 hours after the attack on the Longbottoms, Frank and Alice had recovered from their ordeal and had been discharged from St Mungo's. Moody had suggested that they rest for a few days before returning to the field.

Ever since that Halloween night, Narcissa and Draco had been staying at Hogwarts. She and Draco had been coming to the Burrow every day since the day she had explained her role as a spy and her reasons and consequences. Draco had hit it off with the other children and was now a friend of Harry's. As for Narcissa, she had become quite close to Lily, Molly, Marlene and Amelia. Sirius no longer held any feelings of animosity towards her and she had reconciled with him successfully. However, she was not sure about facing Andromeda. After years of strife, she was afraid that Andromeda would not forgive her.

Currently, it was 11 am and Narcissa was sitting on a sofa next to Lily in the living room of the Burrow, watching Draco play with Harry, Ron and Susan.

Just then, there was a knock on the front door and Molly went to answer it. When she returned to the living room, Narcissa was shocked to see who was behind her.

Standing behind Molly, was Dumbledore, accompanied by two very familiar people plus a small girl looking around 7 or 8 years old. The adults were none other than Andromeda Tonks and Ted Tonks.

Dumbledore spoke, "Good Morning. Andromeda has been eagerly waiting to see Narcissa. I hope this visit will not cause any inconvenience."

Lily replied, "It's no problem Dumbledore."

Narcissa stared at her sister and brother in law in shock before slowly saying, "Andi…"

Andromeda went and enveloped Narcissa in an embrace. Narcissa's dam burst and she cried in Andromeda's arms saying, "Andi, I'm so sorry! I should have listened to you that day! Why didn't I?! Will you ever…"

She broke off and sobbed, unable to say anymore.

Andromeda held her and cried out, "It doesn't matter! What matters is that I have you now! I'm so sorry for what happened!"

Narcissa continued to cry in her arms for a few minutes before calming down.

Suddenly, Draco came waddling up to his mother and said, "Mama, Wookius."

Narcissa picked up Draco and whispered, "He's in heaven Darling child. He won't be able to come back."

Andromeda looked at Draco and slowly took him from Narcissa saying, "Is this my cute little nephew? What's your name sweetie? I'm your aunt Andromeda, and I'm going to love you forever."

Suddenly, Draco burst into tears screaming, "NO BEWWA!"

Andromeda rocked Draco and tried to sooth him saying, "Oh, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. Are you ok Baby?"

But Draco continued to cry.

Ted took Draco and held him against his shoulder saying, "It's ok little guy, you're safe with us. Don't cry little guy, it's ok." He then took out a small plane model (Supermarine Spitfire) and flew it around in his hand saying, "See little guy, rrrrrr…."

Draco suddenly stopped crying and stared with wide open eyes at the plane. A minute later, Ted let Draco hold the plane and held his hand before proceeding to move around in circles, 'flying the plane'.

A few minutes later, Ted stopped moving and said, "He's such a sweet little guy. What's his name?"

Narcissa responded, "Draco Malfoy."

Andromeda asked, "He was saying something like 'no bewwa'. I wonder what this 'bewwa' is."

Narcissa suddenly had a pale expression on her face. She explained, "He means Bellatrix."

Andromeda asked, "Dumbledore told us all about you spying on the Dark Lord for a year, and what happened that night. Did Bellatrix really try to harm you, and Draco?"

Narcissa knew which night she was referring to and said, "The Dark Lord was angry with me for having spied on him. He wanted to punish me by having Draco tortured and killed in front of me! And Bellatrix tried to snatch him from me!"

She ended her explanation in tears, remembering the horror of that night.

Andromeda hugged Narcissa and cried out, "How could she be so cruel?! I wish I had been there to protect you! I wish you had come to me that night. Ted and I would have gladly hid you in our house!"

Narcissa said, "I don't know where I shall stay now. Malfoy Manor has been destroyed. And I want Draco to grow up in a happy place."

Ted spoke, "We'll help you in any way we can. You're welcome to stay with us anytime."

Meanwhile, the small girl, Nymphadora Tonks was playing with Draco and the other children. Draco was screaming in delight as he watched her hair color turn from maroon to blonde. She was saying, "You're so cute, and I want to tickle you."

Lily was standing nearby with Molly, watching the cute scene with delight.

The next day, around 2 pm, Lily, Amelia and Narcissa were all sitting in the living room with Molly. Harry and Ron were comfortably sleeping with their heads on Molly's lap, and Amelia was happily holding Susan and Ginny. Draco was fast asleep in Lily's lap.

There came a knock on the door and Molly went to answer it. She returned with none other than Andromeda, Ted and Nymphadora following her.

Narcissa went and hugged Andromeda tightly, and she returned the embrace. She said to her sister, "Cissy, I'm just so happy to see you. By the way, will you come outside for a moment?"

Leaving Draco and Nymphadora in the living room, Narcissa, Andromeda, and Ted stepped outside the house and into the garden.

Andromeda turned to Narcissa and held her arms saying, "Ted and I were thinking about you yesterday, and there's something that we decided to do."

Narcissa asked, "What is it?"

She was spellbound when Andromeda said in response, "Ted, Nymphadora and I would love for you and Draco to move in with us."

Narcissa started, "After all those years of strife?! I can't…"

"No Cissy, please do not say no! I got my sister back, after so many years, and I'm not going to let you go!" Andromeda cried out.

She continued, "We want to help you! We will help you raise Draco! My daughter's more than happy with the idea in fact! Ted just loves him! We want you to live with us! Please do not say no!"

Narcissa remained silent for a few moments, then rushed into Andromeda's arms and cried on her shoulder saying, "How can I ever thank you?! I have so much to…"

Andromeda declared, "I don't care what happened in the past between us! You're my sister and I won't be apart from you again! And I will love Draco like my very own!"

That evening, Narcissa and Draco went to live with Andromeda Tonks, Ted Tonks and Nymphadora Tonks. As Lily watched Narcissa leaving the Burrow with them, with Andromeda holding Draco, who had gotten quite comfortable with her, she felt happy. Draco would be loved, and he would grow up in a happy environment.
