Narcissa was relieved as she explained to Harry she was more than capable of doing what she always did and would only need help with certain things. He had started to smother her wanting to do everything for her as he feared she'd be too weak to do most things on account of her pregnancy. It was naivety on his part which he fully accepted. Narcissa had begun experiencing strange cravings early on. On Draco she had craved melon so much now however she craved vinegar. Salt and Vinegar chips, crisps and nuts were always in the house. She was even putting vinegar on her dinner at times although Harry didn't mind it. If that's what her baby craved he was more than fine with the smell of vinegar around the house. This pregnancy was very different for Narcissa. She had some morning sickness but it didn't last nearly as long this time. Her boobs increasing in size so dramatically and quickly this time around was a shock.
Hermione's were only starting to increase now. Initially Narcissa had assumed they were getting bigger due to her period before she learned she was pregnant. She wasn't showing all that much right now and was relieved about it. Her attraction to Harry had gone through the roof these last few days. She couldn't get enough of him. He'd no sooner be home then she'd be all over him like a rash. Other days she wanted nothing to do with him and found his very presence irritating. She entered the bedroom gasping at the sight before her. Most of the surfaces in the room had been covered with candles and there was a feint smell of roses in the air. Harry was waiting for her with a huge smile on his face. "Harry what's all this?" she asked him as he smiled and guided her over to the bed.
"It's pamper time my love. Let's get these clothes off. It's time for a massage!" he said as he snuck up behind her planting a kiss on her neck. She loved how careful he was and had advised that he speak to a healer about what not to do when she was pregnant. He like most men had been stunned to learn that not only was sex ok but it was encouraged. It didn't at all harm the baby. She slipped out of her dress and tiredly slipped her shoes from her feet. She was very tired today but positively glowing none the less. She exhaled loudly as he took her foot in his hand pressing what seemed to be all the right points. She was soon groaning loudly at the pressure relief she was feeling. As she felt the relief flood her system she cried. Her mother had never had this from her father and they had both been so toxic for one another that none of them had ever stopped to think are we doing the right thing here? I mean Bellatrix herself was an example of what negligent parenting can do. Druella had been so inebriated most of the time that Bellatrix had started lashing out to get some form of attention hell any attention from her. Unfortunately for her Druella cared for no one but herself. Cygnus was very into external appearances and believed that children should be seen and not heard.
When Bellatrix had found Voldemort and fell for his nonsense Narcissa had begged her parents to care for her but they outright refused saying that Bella had made her bed and would indeed lie in it. She knew that at that point she was lost to them all. She regretted she'd fallen out with her older sister Andy. Andy had refused to marry the death eater Cygnus and Druella had wanted her to. Cygnus had warned her she'd be kicked from the family thinking it would scare her into complying with his wishes but he had been the one left scared. She'd not cared and he'd kicked her out stunned she'd gone against what he wanted. When Bellatrix of all people had lorded over him that the man had been a death eater and that it was all his fault for choosing him in the first place he was furious. Rather than risk the embarrassment of the Andy situation repeating itself he charmed Narcissa against her wishes for Lucius.
She truly missed her sister so much. She loved Andy and was so sorry she'd been unable to get in touch with her. She jumped as Harry's hands swiped at her exposed nipples making her shriek out a bit. She grabbed his head and brought him down for a searing kiss. "I love you so much Harry. Tomorrow I will be paying a visit to Andy! I need my sister so much!" she said as he broke away looking at her seriously in a way she'd not seen coming. What was the matter?
"We need to talk. I didn't mention this earlier because I felt awkward about bringing it up. I know I should have and you may be as mad as you like with me but Remus and Nymphadora Lupin were dear friends to me and they made their son Teddy which Andromeda looks after now my godson. I didn't tell you because I wasn't sure how you felt about her. I am so sorry I didn't know how to broach the topic. I promise to never keep anything from you again!" he said solemnly as she gasped her hand flying to her mouth in shock.
"Well I could never imagine losing a child and I am happy her son has you and Andy. You should have told me before now but as you did say you weren't sure how I felt about her. Harry you must understand that even if I had hated Andy I could never despise or condemn a child for something he had no control over. In future you must tell me everything no matter how I feel because open honesty is key here otherwise this thing will tank before it even gets going!" she said with a sigh before continuing.
"Look I am sure they picked you to be the godfather of little Teddy because they loved you so much and knew he'd have a better life with you in it. I fully intend on making up with Andy and I can tell you Teddy will always have a place in our home ok?" she said in a surprisingly understanding voice. She had taken it better than he had thought she might. It would seem she was more understanding then he had realised.
"Thank you Narcissa. My own childhood before Hogwarts was hellish to say the least and I am so scared of failing. I don't want to fail Teddy or our unborn child. Obviously I know what to definitely not do but I'm scared it won't be enough. I'm not even sure I know how to love properly because I was never shown any as a child myself but I swear on my life to try my hardest. Please try not to judge me because I will get things wrong but I will always try!" he said sounding hysterical as she once more cried at the differences between him and Lucius.
"You see this is what was missing with Lucius. He never cared about failing or not and trust me he failed too many times. I did all I could for Draco and we all saw how ridiculous he was at times but I still loved him to the best of my ability. I was a mere child myself when he was born which explains why everything was so tough. He and I have a very good understanding now and he knows to come to me for anything at all. He may be a man now but he'll never stop being my son and I will never stop loving or caring for him no matter how old I get. I love you so very much darling!" she said shifting herself so she was now straddling his waist and lowering herself onto his hardening erection.
