Hello readers and welcome to the next chapter of the story. Now I hope that you guys are still enjoying this story. Now I'll keep this short and simply get right to the nitty gritty…course we will just to see what will come from it.

Chapter 90

=Council chamber=

After Mifune said this all the kages grew serious with no one speaking for several minutes. Finally, Onoki decided to start them off.

"Well as you all are well aware not only have those darn sound ninja have been running around causing chaos but those black creatures are becoming more prevalent everywhere. I KNOW that my country isn't the only one having problems with these bastards and we must find a way to end it!" Onoki told the council.

"Tsk, as much as I hate agreeing with the old fart those fools are acting way to big for their own good." A grumbles annoyed.

"Indeed. Several of the smaller villages have been completely destroyed by those monsters before any of my ninja even have any chance of giving support. The hunt for culling them has spread my troops far too thin for my own liking." Mei tells them honestly ignoring the muffled surprise of her guards.

"Even in the desert there have been wandering herds of those creatures…they don't seem to have any care even as the desert heat cooks them alive." Gaara states seeing as many of the sand ninja reported the daku walking through the sand with various degrees of burns on their bodies. Burns that seemed to have no real affect on their abilities.

"Mmmhh even we have had some issues with both groups around here. Though all have been dealt with." Mifune states

"And it will only get worse." Tsunade says drawing all their attention to her. "We have raided several of Orochimaru's secret bases and have found out that he and his researchers in the sound village are to blame for the black creatures which they call Daku." Tsunade explains.

"Tsk, of course its Konoha at fault for this mess." Onoki grumbles making Tsunade grind her teeth in rage.

"I have no control over what that bastard does! If I had a chance to do so I would punch him hard enough that he would be nothing but a pile of paste!" Tsunade tells him making the old man just scoff as a reply.

"Anyways as I was saying before a cranky old man interrupted." Tsunade restarted sending a glare at the uncaring man. "We have found a good bit of information from his bases that I would be happy to share with all the villages." Tsunade states handing a small stack of scrolls to Jiraiya who walked to the center of the room. After which each of the leaders motioned for one of their guards to take a copy from Jiraiya and after a quick inspection handed it over to their leader and finally returned to their original spot.

For the next few minutes Tsunade sat patiently as the rest of the group read through the information they were given.

"Tsk, so that bastard made a real monster of a species this time and to have the blood be highly infective and fast acting. What a horrible thing that science has brought upon us." Mei states after finishing the scroll.

"Indeed this is not something that we can leave to fester. These creatures must be eradicated with haste." Mifune states with all of the rest of them nodding.

"As much as I hate the idea we must work together before this problem gets much bigger. I vote we irradicate the sound village that has chosen to create such hell spawn." Onoki growls out.

"I don't know if a complete culling of a minor village is required for this…our focus should be on killing the mastermind and researchers involved over making the whole village suffer." Mei countered.

"Tsk, that is rich coming from a place that just finished trying to irradicate all of its own bloodline users." Onoki states making a vein visibly bulge on Mei's forehead.

"Eh? Care to repeat that old man?" Mei growled out while both kage's guards tensed up for anything that was going to happen. Though before their argument could escalate much more there was a knock on the rooms door bringing everyone's attention to said door.

"Enter" Mifune calmly states and sees one of his soldiers walk in.

"I apologize for interrupting my lord but there is a group of ninja that say they are from the sound village that are demanding entrance to this meeting." The man stated making everyone in the room curious.

"Well speak of the devils." A muttered.

"Why the nerve of these youngins….a small village demanding entrance here." Onoki complains.

"…we shall have a vote to see if we shall hear these ninja. My vote is yes seeing as we are discussing them already." Mifune states

"Yes" Gaara states simply.

"Might as well." Mei states still annoyed.

"No! Those fools deserve no seat at the table." Onoki told them.

"Tsk, I suppose." A states.

"Might as well hear what the fools want." Tsunade agrees making Mifune nod his head.

"Let them come…but make sure they know the rules of this meeting." Mifune ordered the man who bows and leaves the room.

After some time had passed the leaders yet again heard a noise from the other side of the door. But this time rather than knocking someone kicked the doors open loudly making all of the guards move to stand in front of their respective leaders.

"Tsk, About damn time you bastards let us through." The man that kicked the door stated. This man had very short brown hair and a large scar that traveled from just below his eye to his chin. Behind him were two more men with basically the same hair style but generic facial features. Truly if they didn't do something so bold none of the men present would be noted as anything other than generic or random thugs.

"Brat you dare show such an important meeting such disgrace-" Onoki began furious with the man for not following customs but was interrupted.

"Can it old man we came here today to tell you some very important news." One of the men behind the first man stated making the small kage practically boil over in rage. Still the men paid no mind to this and even happily walked to the center of the room ignoring the guards that were making sure to stay between them and their respective leader.

"You see kages we in the sound village have been working oh so hard to show the rest of ya a very important fact." The man stated with a cocky smirk.

"And what would that be?" Mei asked coldly.

"Well I am glad you asked my beauty." The man told her with his eyes focused on her…or a certain part of her. "Love the dress by the way. Be sure to hit me up if you ever want to experience a real man's touch." He told her not bothering to pay attention to her clear annoyance or her guards glaring at him. "We have been showing the world that the sound village is NOT some minor village that can be ignored. Our village has worked hard and long to finally have clear proof that we are the strongest village there is." The man stated proudly.

"Tsk what a load of bullshit!" A growled out at the man who simply looked at him with a smug grin.

"Oh yea? Well ain't this whole 'important meeting' about us already?" the man asked.

"So you wish to tell us why it seems that you have been attacking everyone and everything around you then? And why those daku are being seen causing chaos?" Gaara asks neutrally only to make the group of men laugh.

"Ha, it isn't clear to you pencil pushers yet?" the man asks pointing a finger at Gaara. "We are through with just being pushed aside as a minor village! We will take what is rightfully ours and there is nothing you can do about it." The man stated coldly with his friends having the same cocky smirk.

"Oh? And just what are you implying is yours?" Tsunade asks with a raised eyebrow.

"He, you don't get it yet? Guess the only thing good about you is that rack." The man states ignoring the clear rage Tsunade was showing. "Everything! This world is about the strong controlling the weak and WE are the strongest. So just make it easy on yourselves and bow down to our rule." The man said with his smug grin even larger as his buddies laughed and cheered him on. Though this only lasted for about a second before the man found himself completely launched out of the room and far into the sky. Something made even more impressive seeing as the room they were meeting in was heavily reinforced to protect the important leaders inside.

"H-hey you can't do that! You aren't supposed to attack in these meetings!" one of the remaining men stated as he looked fearfully at Tsunade who now stood close to him.

"Ya any attack in this meeting can and will be taken as an act of war…but you bastards have already clearly stated that you wanted a war to begin with." Tsunade told the men who back away from her a bit.

"Great hit…I only wish I was able to be the one to knock the cockiness out of that upstart." A stated with a smirk. His smirk quickly vanished though when he saw one of the remaining men cry out in pain as a seal on his neck began to spread across his body. Seeing this Tsunade also jumped back and stayed on guard as the man seemed have his skin pale rapidly as the now two-foot seal glowed on his neck. He continued to cry out in agony until the seal stopped growing and his entire body was several shades paler than before. After which a cold laugh could be heard.

"Ku ku ku, well at lest two of these men were able to live long enough to reach the kage summit." The voice stated. But unlike before the voice was of someone that was VERY familiar to Tsunade.

"Orochimaru! You have some balls appearing here." Tsunade growled out preparing to hit the man.

"Ah ah don't be so hasty Tsundae-chan. I am not actually here but just using my seal to make this man my messenger." Orochimaru stated.

"W-wait you can do that? But you said that we were important because we could make it all the way here and speak FOR you." The other man asked confused.

"Silly child you three were just strong enough to have a good chance of surviving till reaching here while having little enough value to be missed….and speaking off I only need one of you for the message." Orochimaru states confusing the man until he felt searing pain in his chest. He then looked down and saw Orochimaru stabbed a kunai directly into his heart.
"W-why?" the man asked with his last breath as he fell to floor.

"Well I only needed one of you to survive long enough for me to talk here…I am surprised enough that you actually made it let alone more than one of you did." Orochimaru told the dead man.

"Tsk, so what do you want to talk about?" Onoki asks serious with the rest of the leaders listening closely as well.

"Ku ku ku. Well like the idiot my old teammate sent flying as a corpse said. My village will be taking over the continent. You have seen the force I have and its effectiveness. So, I leave each of you with only three options. Whatever you pick will have drastic results for your life and your village." Orochimaru states with each of the bodyguards tensing and preparing for a fight.

"Oh you fools don't need to worry this body can hardly handle my possession let alone be able to fight. He will die as soon as I release my control." Orochimaru tells them. "Now your options are to surrender and accept me as the world leader, accept that I control the land lead your people as long as you stay out of my way, or try to fight my army and perish." He tells them.

"You think you are strong enough to handle Kumo just because of your weird ass creatures!" A yells annoyed.

"Fool you all have surely found enough information about my daku to know that they can easily infect the world. So, let me rule while things are normal or make me have to infect most of the world and rule with fear… it is your choice." Orochimaru tells them simply with a cocky smirk. Course soon after he finished saying this the body he possessed lost its head and was then crushed by sand.

"I think that was more than enough of that." Mifune stated sheathing his sword while Gaara recalled his sand. "Now the real question is what are we going to do about the declaration of war we were given." Mifune states seeing as the choice was for each village to decide on their own.

"That fucker dares belittle Kumo! I will show him just who is the weakling!" A growls out destroying his desk in rage.

"…man and here I thought only Tsunade did that." Jiraiya couldn't help but think a bit amused but quickly refocused.

"Suna will not allow Orochimaru to do as he wishes. We already have a debt of blood to pay him back for." Gaara stated coldly.

"Konoha will fight. Nothing good EVER comes from trusting that snake!" Tsunade stated.

"…Iwa will fight. It is time to show just how much we have advanced since we last fought the sannin." Onoki stated proudly.

"Kiri will join the war."

"The land of Iron will fight against the sound village. And with that being said I think the fourth shinobi world war has been announced." Mifune states. A statement that struck a wave of displeasure for those that fought in the previous wars and determination for those that have not. But at least this time it was not several villages clashing against each other but one village daring to fight against the rest of the villages. Something that is practically unheard of but everyone thought that Orochimaru was too insane to not take his threat seriously.

~Sound Village throne room~

After the ninja he possessed died Orochimaru quickly came out of his trance like state and was back to focus on the room he actually was in. Something that Kabuto quickly noticed.

"Was your 'meeting' with the other kages fruitful?" Kabuto asked him simply making Orochimaru chuckle.

"Thanks to those pawns making it to the council room I was able to explain to those fools just how much of a force they will be facing if they oppose us." Orochimaru states quite happy but noticed that his right-hand man seemed troubled.

"Sir are you sure it was wise to unite the forces against us? Eventually they would surely realize that they are outmatched alone but we would surely be able to dwindle their forces down a significant amount." Kabuto asks. For while they had quite a lot of troops that were both brave and dumb enough to face the unite army without fear. But their cannon fodder would be much more effective at dwindling their enemies' numbers when there was less of the enemies at once. Plus it would have given them a chance to bolster their daku units as they were allowed to infect the surrounding towns and ninja they encountered.

"Ku ku ku are right that there would have been some benefits from facing them separate or a while as you say but those fools were talking about the daku to begin with. There was a high chance that they would team together in that meeting even without my meddling. But don't worry Kabuto-kun even with the rest of the villages coming together we will be more than able to decimate them with our troops." Orochimaru told him with a smirk. "After all, even if our cannon fodder fails us the daku should be able to do a significant amount of damage. And worse comes to worse we still have the reanimated forces to use." Orochimaru states happily.

"..I am sorry for questioning you Orochimaru-sama. I will inform the commanders to refocus the squads on building up the daku rather than…whatever they were up to." Kabuto tells Orchimaru before leaving the room. Though after the door fully closed he couldn't keep the sneer from forming on his face. "Tsk, Crazy bastard is just going to assume that they were going to group together even without him sticking his nose in where it belongs. Even though we have several aces that are ready to go even those can be negated given enough bad luck or cannon fodder. Afterall we were able to beat the Akatsuki with mostly cannon fodder troops with only the small price of losing most of the weaklings we threw at them….whatever I will just have to make sure there is a way out for me if needed…but only after I suck as much strength and ability from him as possible. Plus who knows maybe he actually will be able to gain control of the word." Kabuto thought figuring their chances of success wasn't nearly as high as the sannin made himself believe. "No matter what I will make sure that I get as strong as possible so no one will be able to just toss me aside like garbage again. Who knows maybe I will be able to test the process I created to assimilate with Orochimaru's corpse by the end of this." Kabuto thought figuring as long as he could escape death he could squeeze out benefits to either side winning. But he pushed these thoughts to the side and refocused on trying to give the sound village the best chance of victory as he could. For his life was much easier with the cannon fodder around than if he had to flee by himself.

After Kabuto spread the word to each of the leaders the groups of raiders were slowly pulled back into order and rather than sacrificing the daku willy nilly were much more diligent at increasing their numbers…while still enjoying raiding the remainders after they were done of course. Meanwhile the researchers also found themselves far busier than ever with many of the sound village ninja dreading the war ahead of them. So, with the thought of death possibly coming at them they were far more willing to put up with being research guinea pigs as long as it gave them a bit more strength…for those that survived the experiments. Finally, Orochimaru just looked on happily as the preparations were done while using a moderate amount of effort to make sure he wasn't blindsided by an attack. After all, while the cannon fodder could absorb the surprise attacks, he didn't want to needlessly waste them. For they would be put to much better use if they could kill at least a few enemies before getting killed themselves.

~Konoha restaurant; Naruto~

Naruto was sitting at a restaurant with all of his girlfriends sitting around the table he was at. The group all decided to hang out with each other for a while simply enjoying the rare time when all of them weren't busy. In fact, what Naruto didn't know is that Hinata made sure to bring Hanabi and get the girl to sit right next to Naruto. Something that made the normally brave girl visibly nervous.

"Hey Hanabi are you doing ok?" Naruto asked the girl noticing her change.

"I-I'm fine I just am a bit under the weather." Hanabi lies quickly with a small blush on her face. Though she made sure to glare at her sister that sent her an amused look.

"Don't give me a teasing look like that you are the whole reason I am nervous!" Hanabi mentally complained.

*Flash back; a bit before the date*

After Hanabi heard that the group date was going on she was at first a bit excited. After all she would have a chance to learn more about her love interest while also possibly having a chance to show off in front of him as well. So, she of course made sure that to pick out the perfect dress to be fancy enough but yet not look too out of place in the normal restaurant.

"Oh look at you getting all dressed up to flirt." Hinata states happily as she walked into her sisters room.

"Do you think that this is too much for a simple restaurant?" Hanabi asks shyly.

"No its perfect for you! It shows off your beauty perfect…besides we gotta make sure the other girls see you as the beautiful maiden you are. Afterall we will tell them that you are seriously going for him they surely will choose to help you.

"T-tell them!?" Hanabi asked stunned.

"Why of course. I mean they will have to know eventually if you plan on becoming one of us anyways so it'd be best if you let them know early; so what better time then now?" Hinata asks.

"B-but what if they try to block me?" Hanabi asks worried.

"They won't don't worry about it…besides no one can stop a Hyuga from getting what they want. Oh and don't worry we will make sure Naru-kun won't hear us so that you can have that special time with him." She told her sister petting her head until the younger woman batted her hand away.

"F-fine but just make sure that Naruto-kun doesn't hear." Hanabi ordered with an embarrassed blush on her face.

"Don't worry I'll make sure he won't. So you just focus on making yourself look as cute as possible. After all we need to make sure that he knows that you like him more than friendship or family love.

(AN: for those that may not like the shyer Hanabi that I have been creating know that I am more putting it on a young adults first love making her act different and more nervous. Now I am not a female so I don't know if it is the same as I KNOW it has been for several of my friends were very nervous for their 'first times'. So, basically I am assuming that this is how it is for everyone when they do their first love…and yes I am having it be Hanabi's first love seeing as she for the most part is seen as a super serious child in the show so I can't see her having a simple crush at least not without simply pushing it to the side as other things kept her focus…well for this series just pretend it makes sense even if you don't think it does; Ok? Also remember that while her and the rest of the younger generation are still younger than the Konoha 12 they are also a decent bit older than the anime showed them as….just in case anyone forgot)

*Flashback end*

With her sister's words stuck in her head Hanabi couldn't help but have her various thoughts from swimming through her head enough that she found it almost hard to focus on the normal contestation going on around her

"Ok Hanabi-chan but just make you take care of yourself. I don't want to have to worry about my girlfriend's little sis getting sick all the time ok?" Naruto told her with a smile but missed the slight pout that she gave him.

"Oh look at Naru-kun his fatherly instincts are already showing up" Ino told him making him and Ayame blush.

"I am NOT that much younger than you guys!" Hanabi growls out at Ino. Meanwhile Ayame couldn't help but place her hand on her stomach.

"W-we don't even know if I am pregnant yet Ino-san." Ayame mutters with a heavy blush. Course she couldn't help but admit that the idea of Naruto already showing that he is even more of 'fatherly material' than she thought he would be was appealing to her.

"Bah we will find out soon enough. Besides if our little 'vacation' has shown us one thing for sure. That if you plan on producing a child you are efficient as always." Ino tells Naruto making him blush out of embarrassment.

"Well we will just have to test that theory….its bad enough that Shizuka had to get ahead of me. Now Ayame gets to because of Tsunade-sama's orders as well." Hinata states with a pout making the group sweat drop.

"I-I don't think it would be the best idea for us ninja to worry about stuff like that with the events that have been going on recently…besides I don't even know how good of a dad I will be in the first place." Naruto tells her but whispers the last bit to himself. After all even with the knowledge that Tsunade and Konoha would help make sure the child was growing healthy he was terrified of screwing up somehow. After all he has very little to go off of in terms of true fatherhood.

"Indeed. With Lady Tsunade having to leave for a kage summit it is very likely that a major event will be coming very soon. It would be best for all of us to be as ready for said major event as we possibly can be." Haku states firmly.

"Oh look it's the boss!" Naruto heard called out from behind them soon after Haku's statement making him look back to find Moegi and Konohamaru walking up to them.

"Hey Konohamaru-kun Moegi-chan how are you two doing?" Naruto asked with a wide smile but his question brought a blush to both of the younger adults.

"W-well we were actually just about to get some food and talk a bit." Konohamaru states scratching at his blushing cheek awkwardly.

"Oh a date! Well congrats you two." Ino tells them happily making both of them blush a bit more.

"L-let me go get us a table." Konohamaru states fleeing the girls that clearly weren't done commenting.

"Heh, I'll go with you…I think you deserve having your 'teacher' reward you with a meal to congratulate both of you." Naruto stated while mentally noting to make sure he did the same for Udon in the future. "Excuse me for just a moment girls." Naruto stated getting out of his seat and walking with Konohamaru to set up a table for the younger couple. Thus, leaving all of the girls together without the boys having any chance of hearing them. Something that made Moegi gain an evil glint in her eye that sent a shiver down Hanabi's spine

"I think this is the perfect time for some good old revenge" Moegi thinks happily knowing that all of the girls present were her 'bosses's' girlfriends.

"So Hanabi-chan have you asked the boss for a date yet like you wanted to?" Moegi asks innocently but couldn't hide the smirk on her face.

"Oh you bitch…" Hanabi couldn't help but mutter seeing as she had just enough time to see Moegi mouth 'payback is a bitch' before focusing on all of the girls turning towards her with a look. "Sis was gonna force me to tell them today anyways but it was hopefully going to be a much more private and simpler affair!" Hanabi complained in her head as she looked at the girls who all had various emotions on their face.

"You fell for Naruto-kun as well!" Ayame asks with wide eyes seeing as the young girl was practically known for not putting anything ahead of her training.

"Oh how cute your little sister got a crush on your boyfriend too." Ino states with a smirk.

"I-I am not little and…d-do n-not have a crush." Hanabi states clearly embarrassed. Sadly for her the rest of the girls easily saw through her lie.

So, soon after she said this Hinata gave her an arm hug that brought her head to be pressed into the side of her breasts.

"It's ok to let them know Hanabi-chan. See they are all being supportive of you. Now we just need Naru-kun to realize" Hinata told her supportively with a small smile. Course she was partially surprised when Hanabi forced herself out of the hug.

"O-okay I get it! Now stop trying to suffocate me!" Hanabi states while glaring at a specific part of her sister while trying to force herself to think she was not a bit jealous.

"It's ok Hanabi-chan we know exactly what you are feeling." Moegi tells her friend with the rest of the girls giving a quick nod much to Hinata's confusion. For while each of them were confident with their own beauty and bodies; they also couldn't help but be a bit envious of Hinata. For while the innocent girl is normally shy and timid in anything that doesn't relate to improving her relationship. She some how was blessed with a body that from a very early age the rest of the boys around her were VERY distracted by. And the fact that Hinata's curves outclassed most of the woman in the village while being completely natural made the envy just a bit worse.

"It has to be something they did right? I mean Kurenai is up there on the size charts to." Most of the girls yet again thought focusing their eyes on the inflated part in question.

"Don't even bother asking neither nee-san won't tell me and Kurenai-sensei only says that each woman is different and should be proud of themselves." Hanabi told them with a frown making the girls sigh

"I-I can't help the way I was born!" Hinata told them with a blush hugging herself around her chest in an act to hide them just a bit.

Course this is what Konohamaru and Naruto walked back to see. With all of the girls except Hinata having what seemed to be a depressed aura while Hinata was hugging herself with an embarrassed blush on her cheeks.

*cough* Naruto fake coughed to get all of the girl's attention. "So I have no idea what happened…and honestly don't think I want to know…but how about we all focus on figuring out what desert we want ok?" Naruto asks bringing everyone's thoughts to the various sweets that the restaurant had available breaking the aura around them. He then turned to his 'students' "And as for you two I think that you have a date to start." Naruto told them making both young adults blush and begin to walk away from the group. But before he could leave Naruto put a hand on Konohamaru's shoulder.

"Huh? What's up boss?" Konohamaru asked confused.

"Now I am sure that you don't need to be told this….but if you break Moegi-chans heart I will be sure to make your next training session EXTRA difficult." Naruto told him sending a shiver down Konohamaru's spine at the burst of KI he felt.

"Y-ya…wait why am I the one that is being grilled!" Konohamaru asks with a glare. Course to this Naruto just shrugged.

"From the small bit I have learned from my angels I have found out that girls seem to be more in tune with their emotions and take some things worse then guys….besides while I know that you aren't someone that would play with a girl's emotions. I also know your hobbies." Naruto told Konohamaru but made sure to whisper the last bit. For while Konohamaru was growing up to become a great man he also was showing that he had quite a large perverted side just like his grandfather tried to hide.

"R-right. Well don't worry boss." Konohamaru states finally walking away with Moegi after a quick smile.

(AN: now this is not a dig on males OR females it is mainly just using a tv trope that is far over used. In reality this is pretty far from what can actually be true depending on what each side feels but in this case it left a way to be comedic without having to try and figure out a reason to 'threaten' Moegi. After all saying a male is perverted and could be tempted is a lot easier for a male than trying to insinuate that a female would be (even though they surely can be))

And that is where I am going to end this chapter. Now I hope you readers enjoyed at least the serious part of this chapter seeing as I personally loved the meeting of the kages and the tense air that was tried to be shown because of it. Still as you can see while it was a bit of a strange fit to try and get the threat of war in I think I managed it decently well allowing the story to progress further into the end phase. Oh and for those people that are wondering….I am truly not too sure what I plan on doing with Danzo or if I will end up even using him and the root in this story. We will just have to wait and see if there is a point I think that they should come in. But anyways as this story comes closer to the end phase I hope I can do it the justice I think it deserves. Oh, and don't be surprised to see these sudden side story like cut outs and stuff like that. For while I enjoy the seriousness of war and stuff like that in the stories it is also somewhat good to occasionally take it back into something that is goofy or romantic….and those scenes are what I need to work on more as well. Course I also wanna get more use to making decent battle scenes as well so overall this will be nice practice for my writing…hopefully. Ja Ne.
