Hello readers and welcome to the next chapter of my story. Now as for the poll I had up for the last one for AGES it was funny enough 4/4 (ended it at 5/4) which isn't a lot of votes….so just hoping that people don't really read my rambling rather than people not caring about this story. Anyways due to the poll it has been decided that it will be a separate story but they plan to wait till about 30 chapters are edited to put it out. Now that is up to them seeing as it IS their editing; no matter what I gave them permission to do the editing and such so don't go flaming them for "stealing a story" or anything. I mean no matter what we aren't paid to do this ya know so its not like they even would be stealing anything I technically own seeing as its all Naruto brand….but I will repeat they are NOT stealing my work by any means.

Now as for my work I have been honestly struggling to think about how I am gonna go about this war. I have a basic idea but its hard to push it into further detail. But we will all see how it goes through each chapter. Though expect some cut aways to more 'fluff' worthy stuff seeing as I don't want it to all be serious. Oh, and I am also becoming busier irl seeing as I am trying to yet again buy a house…how that goes idk but I am giving it the old college try even on my meager salary. Not gonna complain much seeing as there are people worse than me but its rough out there for blue collars in general. I hope everyone is living as well as they can as they read this but I am sure you'd much rather read the story than 5k of my rambling.

Chapter 91

~Forest~

Tsunade and her group were on their way back to Konoha after the meeting finally ended. After they all agreed upon fighting the Sound village it took them quite a lot of time to smooth out the finer details. Things like where to set up base, how to supply their army, how to keep everything organized, and much more took quite a long time to figure out. But this was also partially thanks to each of the kages being rather proud and unwilling to back down. Still it finally ended and everyone dispersed to let their people know and to prepare.

"Finally, that snooze fest is over with." Jiraiya states stretching his arms.

"For once I agree with you." Tsunade muttered. For while it was a very serious thing she also found herself rapidly growing annoyed with the slow process.

"Maa, it wasn't all that bad." Kakashi states flipping a page in his book.

"Grr. You say that but you went through TWO of those damn books!" Tsunade told him. For while he did his job and kept Tsuande safe he has long since figured out a way to multitask for his precious book reading time.

"Lucky…I need to triple my research time if I ever wanna finish my book on time…I mean be ready with information for the war." Jiraiya states as Tsunade turns her glare at him.

"Tsk, you better be working hard on what you should…I swear if I hear ANY word that you are wasting time to be pervy." Tsunade threatened cracking her knuckles.

"Kukuku I see you are the same as always." A voice calls out making everyone stand on guard. They then noticed a figure walking up to them which ended up being Orochimaru yet again.

"tsk what do you want you crazy bastard." Tsunade growled.

"Now is that any way to treat your old teammate? Orochimaru asks ignoring the fact that he only got glares as an answer.

"Now Tsunade-chan I am sure you can see how little of a chance this group actually has against my daku. Someone with your medical knowledge has to know just how easily a virus can spread." Orochimaru states with a cocky smirk.

"Just get to the point already." Jiraiya growls out.

"Kukuku oh Jiraiya-kun always the impatient one…but anyways I have come here to personally invite Tsunade to the winning side. My research would surely drastically speed up with a medic of your caliber helping the process. I promise that you will have everything you could ever want if you join me." Orochiamru told her with the smirk never leaving his face.

"Tsk in case you forgot bastard we have had basically this whole conversation before." Tsunade tells Orochimaru who just chuckles.

"Yes, but at that point you had a chance to win still. Now my world domination is all but guaranteed." He states cockily.

"Oh fuck off you cocky bastard. You are just as delusional as the day that you became a missing ninja." Jiraiya yells annoyed.

"Oh Jiraiya-kun. You just don't understand. While you are focused on the pleasures of flesh, I am much more focused on things that are MUCH more important. Knowledge and time. Konoha may have refused to see the light but my research has already given me a way to live for as long as I wish…now I just need to get rid of the annoyances trying to stop me from learning all this world has to offer." Orochimaru tells him. For in his mind the world truly just a place for him to study and experiment to his heart's content and he would let nothing stop him from following his quest for knowledge.

"…your mind is truly rotten." Jiraiya muttered not believing what kind of monster the person he spent so many years fighting with has become.

"Kukuku your opinion means nothing to me…now what is your answer, Tsunade? I will make sure you get ever wish you want when we win if you come." Orochimaru asks only to have a punch to the face launch him deep into the forest.

"How is that for an answer?" Tsunade asks angrily. They both look over to the man's resting spot to see Orochimaru slowly stand up.

"…it is a shame that you decided to join with these fools. Your medical knowledge would have helped many tests and projects speed up at least one hundred and fifty percent." Orochimaru mutters with a frown.

"Tsk, deal with it you asshole! I can't believe you are crazy enough to think you will win against ALL of the shinobi villages. Hell I will turn you into paste here and now!" Tsunade told him landing a blow on Orochimaru's chest that caved his chest in.

"ku ku ku. Always so brash Tsunade-chan. But don't count me out just yet." Orochimaru states with a smirk. His body then turns into a bunch of paper like material that falls to the ground around a body that now looked nothing like Orochimaru.

"A body double?" Tsunade muttered confused not expecting this event.

"Tsk, must be another of his weird sacrificial jutsus….damn bastard has no limits." Jiraiya growls out.

*sigh* "I fear we will find out just how true that is in the coming war. Our old teammate while insane surely wouldn't act so confident without at least a few trump cards." Tsunade states. After saying this both of them fell into a silence while keeping there senses up in case Orochimaru had another trick coming towards them. But nothing came and the two of them finally decided to continue their journey after a few minutes had past.

+Konoha; one long trip later~

"Finally, back home." Jiraiya states for once more serious rather than his normal joyful self. "Now Tsunade gather up the forces and meet the other kages at base camp. I am gonna head out and try to find any information I can." He quickly turns to tell Tsunade walking back out of the village.

"Understood…just be careful." Tsunade told him with concern on her face. Something that made Jiraiya's widen his eyes for a moment before he recovered and gave her a wide smile and a thumbs up. He then ran away from the village clearly much happier than a few seconds ago.

"Tsk…what a cheezy weirdo" Tsunade muttered to herself but had a small smile on her face as she walked to the kage tower. Meanwhile Kakashi who was left alone after being between the two couldn't help but glance between where the two previously were standing.

"Hmm, I know that they fought and bonded through all that they have been through but who knew that most of the banter between our sannin is just playing around….I hope even if they eventually hook up Jiraiya-sama still continues his works." Kakashi couldn't help but think. For while he wished for the older couple to enjoy their lives, he didn't think he could live without more of his 'precious' being created.

+Couple hours later; Naruto+

Currently Naruto was happily sitting in a restaurant with Ino sitting across from him. Both of them were currently enjoying a small date.

"So Ino-chan how are the training sessions going now?" Naruto asks happily.

*sigh* "Choji-kun is working hard to show the strength of his clan as possible but Shikamaru-kun is STILL refusing to do more than the bare minimum. I mean just because he is more focused on the inelegance gathering now doesn't mean he gets an easy excuse to slack off like always." Ino complains. For while they kept training together Shikmaru often couldn't help himself and let his laziness shine through.

"Hahaha that's Shimakmaru for ya" Naruto states knowing how much it annoyed Ino at times.

"Its not funny. Someone needs to kick his lazy but into gear I mean now when his clan's laziness gets real bad only Kurenai-sensei can get him to do stuff." Ino grumbles seeing as she still tried to keep her team in line. Though unlike when she was a child it was less like a dictatorship and now more like a sister trying to push her brothers to be the best they can.

"Well, I suppose that makes sense. After all he meant it when he said he'd try and help her as much as he could." Naruto told her with a shrug.

"Ya and it is honorable and he is doing a good job…but he still needs to work on improving himself as well; damn it!" Ino complains slamming her fist on the table. Though she quickly changed her mood when Naruto pushed a pastry close to her.

"Just calm down I am sure that he knows this I mean he isn't stupid. Its best to just not worry about his methods and focus on your own. I mean I am sure that your dad is keeping you busy with all the training." Naruto told her trying to appease her annoyance.

"Mmmm, you know me almost too well now." Ino mutters finding her annoyance melting away as she tasted the sweet treat in front of her. "Ahh why did I ever think I should have given you up." Ino mutters happily making Naruto sweat drop.

"I truly will never understand how so many girls seem to have some sort of addiction to sweets." Naruto couldn't help but think. Still it got Ino away from ranting about her lazy teammate yet again. Something that almost seems to be more of an ongoing gag between the two of them. Afterall nothing ever happened due to it either bad or good. Still before they could continue their date they heard a loud sound ring out throughout the village and looked at each other now serious. For every ninja knew a few codes and the one that just went out was for them to come to the kage tower.

With that in mind they quickly paid the restaurant and left to meet up at the center of town. When they reached the tower they quickly noticed that loads of people already were milling around talking to each other in confusion simply waiting to see what was going on.

"Hey Naruto-kun!" Sakura called out waving bringing Naruto and Ino's attention over to the girl. Around Sakura happened to most of their old classmates who greeted them as well.

"Hey guys any idea what's up?" Naruto asked.

"Not a clue. All of us just happened to find each other here before you got here…what took you two so long?" Kiba asked with a teasing grin.

"We were in the middle of a date dog breath." Naruto growled out while Ino simply walked up to Kiba.

"Why so curious Kiba-san? Jealous that he gets all of this?" Ino asks running a hand down her body. Something that made Kiba check her out with a small blush before shaking his head clear.

"Tsk, as if I would be interested in someone like you" Kiba grumbled making her glare at him

"What was that mutt?" Ino asks with a dangerous glare. Course before they could continue the doors to the kage tower balcony opened to show Tsunade.

"Konoha I have returned from the kage summit with dire news. The snake sannin Orochimaru has not only taken over the sound village but has created monsters that have been growing over our world like a plague. Due to this all of the leaders have unanimously agreed that this problem needs to be eradicated at all costs. So, with a heavy heart I have to announce that we will be joining forces to destroy the sound and their creations. My people I will be leading you to battle in the fourth world war. Show the sound that Konoha's will of fire can not be burnt out. And help bring Konoha's worst missing ninja to his long overdue call to justice!" Tsunade calls out looking over the stunned ninja as they digested the news for several seconds. "We will meet again during the sunrise in one week time. Konoha will provide her subjects with basic supplies as stock allows but be sure to prepare yourself during this time. Show the world that Konoha still is the powerhouse she is known to be! For the will of fire!" Tsunade calls out firmly.

"For the will of fire!" the crowd calls out a few seconds later. Many of them were scared, nervous, worried, and having many other emotions but all of them knew their job description. Their pride in both themselves and their village pushed them past these feeling and brought courage to their souls as they focused on their goal….to bring honor and victory to the village they pledged and safety to those they pledged to protect.

~Hokage office~

After finishing her meeting with the people Tsunade quickly sat down in her chair trying to relax. She did not care in the slightest that she still wore the traditional clothes but simply tried to rest for a few moments.

"So this is really going to happen…please let this battle end fast and without too many surprises…that snake's insanity needs to be cut off at the root ages ago. But at least we are finally getting to him…now please whatever god listens to us killers keep the toll this crazy man takes be as small as possible." Tsunade thinks while pulling out a scroll. She then quickly unseals a bottle of booze and quickly got started on the bottle. Something no one could fault her with seeing as she just announced the next world war. Some time passed and finally Shizune walks up to her now tipsy mentor.

"Um lady Tsunade now that you have had some time to relax…there is some paperwork and decisions to be made before we head out to join the other kages." Shizune states gently. For while she normally would force Tsunade to do her work after having to tell the village about the war even she felt that Tsunade deserved some time to relax and clear her head.

*Sigh* "Let's just get the shit done…I want as much drinking time as I can get before we have to fight that bastard." Tsunade grumbles sitting properly in her chair.

*cough* "Right well we must set up supplies for our men for the trip, figure out who will stay to protect the village while most of our fighting force is out, figure out leaders and groups for those going, plan how to pay and reward our ninja, and finally plan a few things to try and be able to recoup the money and supplies used on this war." Shizune states making Tsunade place her head on the desk and let out a heavy sigh.

"Fine…let's get started with this bulshit. Oh and before I forget write up instructions to help Ayame with her child just in case I somehow am unable to do it after the war." Tsunade states remembering her promise.

"Are you sure? We haven't gotten around to checking if she is truly is pregnant yet." Shizune answers honestly.

"Tsk, with this bastard as his teacher I imagine as soon as the option is given he will get the job done as much as possible." Tsunade states pointing at Jiraiya. For while Naruto didn't seem like a pervert she was sure that the 'super pervert' rubbed off on him somehow. And in this case she is sure that he would be MORE than willing to spend a lot of time with Ayame.

"Heh I didn't know you thought so highly of my skills" Jiraiya stated with a wide smirk.

"It's not a compliment you bastard!" Tsunade yelled at the man. "Besides if it was 'your skills' that the boy has you wouldn't be spending a village worth of money on whores all the time." Tsunade states with a small smirk. For while she agreed that Jiraiya helped grow Naruto's inner perverted side she also refused to believe that Jiraiya had ANY relationship skills at all.

"Oy! I so have game. I have more game than that brat every will….I'll show you!" Jiraiya states and quickly left the office.

"….well whatever at least the pervert is gone…now Shizune like I said before help me get through this bullshit as fast as we can so I can drink for as long as possible." Tsunade states fully intending to drink and try to forget her old teammate and everything going on with him.

Ok I know this is a horribly short chapter and it has LOADS of my talking text…but I just can't focus on writing. Not to mention that this heavy planning chapter is pretty dang tough to put up in a way that to me makes sense…which I still am not sure that it truly makes as much sense as I think it does. But anyways I put in an offer for a house (finally after trying for a while/several times) and currently am waiting for the answer. So, with something that will change my life I can't help but think about that more than anything. But anyways sorry for the short chapter.

Hey so just wanna add it here before I forget. No matter what anyone says with all of the sannin have gone through there is no way they haven't found at least some comfort/care for each other. This includes Orochimaru who they feel a bit responsible for seeing as he was one of them….At least that is the way I see it seeing as the show loves copying the teams into new ones. With Orochimaru just being a MUCH darker version of Sasuke in team 7 (yes I am sure most figure this out (its kind of hard not to notice) but just wanna say it). And I say Orochimaru is darker seeing as while Sasuke has done loads of horribly stuff he also got pretty mind fucked throughout his life and basically became a lost lamb like they intended him to be. Meanwhile just like they wanted to show; Orochimaru WILLINGLY became a true monster and really showed no remorse for what he did. But this is only my take on the Naruto story. It is something that I am sure loads of people think of/with but I just wanted to say my reasoning for those that didn't think this way if there is any.

Also, as a final note I will say this chapter was a rough one to get through. Usually I can write a decent bit of the story in pretty good time but this chapter really dragged on seeing as I wanted to make it believable and keep it in the serious mindset for most of it….probably gonna be pretty hard to write each chapter now simply because of the story needing it which means nothing to you readers but for me it means putting aside extra hours to work on writing. Oh but I do promise not to have 1k+ AN in chapters going forward….but I do/will feel like explaining my mindset for stuff if any wish to read.

Feel free to ignore my rambling that I did in two different times/mindsets seeing as most of it is just me stuff…but anyways Ja Ne.
