Hello readers and welcome to the next chapter of my story. Now I will say it now that this month will probably be pretty busy for me seeing as I am in the process of buying a house seeing as I have been lucky enough to find a house that didn't break my bank…mostly. But I will try my hardest to keep a decent amount of a chapter here. Sadly with how serious this chapter is going to be seeing as the war is starting I might even have it end early seeing as it will be super tough to turn from the super serious start to anything other than serious…and writing that takes so much longer than stupid stuff that is fun. But we will see I guess. But I don't own Naruto.

EXTRA POINT: I am super sorry that the last chapter didn't go up (I swear I did it so something must have gone wrong) I have no idea what happened but that has been done for ages and I thought that it was up…only noticed because I tried to check on the last chapter…stupid FF

Chapter 92

=Konoha=

Days past and everyone has been busy preparing until it finally the time for them to move to what would be the base camp has arrived. So, Tsunade collected all of the troops that she could and as a whole they gathered in the village center.

"Shinobi of Konoha the day has come for us to start our journey to the start of the fourth world war. Now I know many of you feel fear or are nervous of this fact. But trust your brothers in arms around you. We may be joining the other villages but that will not hinder our will of fire! Trust your skills that you honed over the years and show the other villages why we are the strongest village!" Tsunade tells the group getting cheers as a response. "Now those of you that will be staying at the village do not think that this is a fault of your own. I chose those to stay not because of your abilities but rather because I trust that you will more than able to protect our homeland at its weakest moment. Keep her safe for when we return victorious!" Tsunade calls out then jumps over the group "Now let's go to the meeting point!" Tsunade called out and the group.

Konoha's army then began the long journey only stopping to pick up the feudal lord that would be kept in a safe house with the rest of the lords as they joined the war in spirit. After all they were the actual leaders of the land even though most of the time, they were basically figureheads. After that it took them only a few days even with the lords making them slower with their weird needs and wants.

~Base camp of allied army~

After all the kages and armies arrived at the camp each set of troops patiently waiting in separated groups for instructions. Though they did not wait too long before each leader showed up in front of their respective armies for once finally seeming peaceful to each other.

*cough cough* "Shinobi and Samurai I welcome you to the alliance. Now as we stand here together not as separate villages but one united force. Now our enemies are few in number but as you know they have tricks that make them more dangerous than they appear. So, be cautious and help your fellow man as every life counts. And I ask of you take extreme caution to have none of the black blood creatures' blood touch you…may kami have mercy on your soul. Now before we go into details and assign positions, I ask of all of you to store your headbands." Mifune states and had to stop until the roars of the crowd settled down. "If you are quite done I do not mean permanently. What I meant is that the kages have decided to create one headband for everyone to use until this war is over." He states holding one of the headbands in his hands.

"Now you will be reporting to your own kage to hear your positions and responsibilities but we all ask you to let old grudges be in the past…at least until this war ends. Better yet focus your rage upon the enemy. Those sound ninja and their freaks have killed not only your fellow men but also countless civilians for their own greed. Men, Women, Young, Old it makes no difference to them they have killed them all. I am sure that you have all heard of the towns that have been destroyed by their hands. Those bastards may have started this war with innocent blood but we will get those lost lives paid back with their blood tenfold. Stand with us and we will make sure that the head of the snake is cut off before the poison attacks our world any longer!" Mifune calls out getting loud cheers from everyone of the soldiers around him. The allied forces were truly as ready as they could be for the fourth shinobi world war to finally arrive.

(AN: Now I truly don't know where they set up the base in the actual show (though I assume somewhere in the land of iron) and the sound village is in a much different spot than where the Akatsuki's base was. But for the sake of simplifying my life from unneeded information I decided to leave out any specific area seeing as I am sure no matter what it will be too close to the sound/too far away for some readers out there. Aka I chose to be lazy in this case.)

Lee's big chance

It has been half a year since Sasuke left the village and Sakura was finally realizing that Sasuke truly wasn't going to be coming back for her. Still people have been trying to support her and help her get out of her depression. Naruto while no longer interested in dating her thanks to being with Hinata was still supporting her with brotherly love. She also had several kunoichi trying to get her to finally move on from her hopeless idea that Sasuke would even be welcomed back in the village even if he came back. And finally, Lee was still trying his hardest to get her to realize his love but was having no luck like usual.

Still Sakura was trying her hardest to keep her hopes up that her 'true love' would realize his mistake and come spend the rest of his life with her. She truly hoped that she would be able to live happily ever after with him but after so much time has passed depression is starting to set in. In fact currently she was laying in her room on one of her days off struggling to get the will to want to do anything as her world came crashing around her.

*thud thud thud*

"Sis come on you have to do something other than mope around all day! You haven't even ate anything yet." Sakura's twin brother told her annoyed. Sakura's twin as you could assume looked a lot like her down to even their hair though if one was to look carefully you would notice his hair is just a little bit shorter than his sister's. Though unlike her he decided to follow in his mother's footsteps and try to become one of the civilian heads of Konoha. Though unlike his sister and mother he quickly decided the plan of having Sakura become the main wife of the powerful Uchiha clan. After all, now that the fool left the village and went rouge he will likely brough back dead if brought back at all. So, needless to say he was getting VERY tired in listening to his mother and sister think about various possible ways they could get the Uchiha back into the village IF he would accept empowering their family in the process. Thus while he felt bad that Sakura was feeling depressed that their dream came crashing down he also was annoyed seeing as she KNEW that she had to take better care of herself. Afterall if he let her keep up this minimum effort work and moping around all day she would eventually end up as one of the countless ninjas that died out on missions.

"I'll eat eventually Akura just let me rest." Sakura grumbled.

"Tsk, fine but if you aren't out and at least eating something in another hour I will force you to go get help…this isn't healthy." Akura told her concerned but walked away from her room. Akura then walked downstairs and saw his mother calmly reading a book in the living room.

"Any luck getting her out?" she asked only to see her son shake his head.

*sigh* " That girl really needs to get out of her funk already. Sure we probably won't be able to get the Uchiha's strength any more but there are loads of other powerful figures she can go for in the meantime…all she is doing is wasting time where she could be working on getting beautiful and wooing one of them." Their mother told him neutrally.

"Who cares about her finding someone 'powerful' how about simply having her get back to reality before she gets herself killed!" Akura told her with clenched fists. Though her mother said nothing and he quickly left the house before he raged at his mother anymore.

"why must my family be so stupidly focused on power! Honestly mother is more worried about Sakura bringing her more power like the pawns she treats us like than if she actually dies! Not to mention that I am sure Sakura will end up doing just that if she survives long enough to get over her crazy dream life seeing as she is just as crazy as mother is at times." Akura thinks as he walks to a random stall to get a quick snack.

+ten minutes later+

While Akura was happily eating he noticed a green blur coming closer over the roofs. Something that truly didn't surprise him until he noticed the green blur end up landing right next to him. A few seconds later the blur finally was able to see the form of Lee standing a bit in front of him in his green uniform.

"Yosh Sakura-chan it is great to see you." Lee says with his classic smile. "You are looking as lovely as ever."

"Huh this must be the 'weirdo' that Sakura says always bothers her…he seems truly interested in her and honestly with a change of clothes and getting rid of that hair…style he won't be half bad." Akura thought honestly

"I am sorry Lee-san but I am her brother Akura…but I will let her know for sure." Akura states seeing Lee's smile go away for a second before coming back.

"Well thank you Akura-san. But do you mind if I ask you a question?" Lee asked calmly for once.

"What's up" Akura asked with a shrug as he continued to eat.

"Is Sakura-chan having some issues or something? When I see her she still is doing her normal stuff…she just doesn't seem to be 'in' it anymore." Lee asked worried.

"Huh you noticed that? And here I thought that most of the males she worked with had no clue."

"They might not have but I always notice Sakura's radiant shine of beauty so it is easy to notice when the radiance dims." Lee tells him

"Ugh his lines are cheesy but he seems to be a decent guy…but I can totally see how she thinks he is weird…but maybe he can help pull Sakura out from under mother's clutches." Akura thinks quickly thinking of a rough outline of a plan.

"Ya she is a bit down in the dumps for some reason but do you want to help me get her out of it?" Akura asks only to be surprised when Lee quickly grabs onto his hands and looks at him directly in the eyes.

"I will do anything you need to get Sakura-chan back to her normal lovely self." Lee tells him firmly while Akura awkwardly looks at him. He then tried to pull away from Lee only to notice that thanks to Lee's strength he wasn't able to even move the young man's arms.

"Umm ok…first let go of me please." Akura states and is thankful that Lee does just that. "Now let's get you a whole look change and then I'll get Sakura to finally give you the chance you were asking for…how about that?" Akura states and watches as Lee's eyes and grin grows somehow even larger.

"I would LOVE to finally get to woo Sakura-chan…but a look change? I have been honoring my sensei who was the only one to give me a chance since I started my training." Lee states unsure of the idea.

"Well would your teacher truly be upset if you become your own person? I have no idea how this ninja stuff works…but I do know that while you are making yourself look like….that it will be very hard for anyone to see your good side." Akura tells Lee honestly.

"Hmm…become my own person…I will think about it. Can I meet you somewhere tomorrow?" Lee asks getting a quick nod.

"Sure let's meet up here tomorrow at noon ok?" Akura asks figuring he now had time to make a possible plan.

"Indeed the date is set!" Lee states happily before running off?

"Date? No I meant….Well whatever I guess he knows I didn't mean it like that." Akura states with a shrug before walking off.

+Next day+

Akura calmly waited around the food stall he ate at yesterday with the same meat kabob waiting to see if Lee would show up. And about ten minutes later Lee did just that though still seemed rather nervous.

"So what did you decide to do?"

"I decided I am going to try to become my own person. Guy-sama thinks it is good for me to be my own man instead of trying to copy him as well. So, help me please in this youthful endeavor." Lee states.

"Perfect. Follow me." Akura states with a smirk as he walked through the street while finishing his food. They soon found themselves in front of a hair salon that Akura walked into with a happy smile. "Welcome to one of my favorite spas in Konoha. Here these girls are the BEST at making a guy feel like a million yen." Akura stated walking into what was a small but fancy looking store.

"Welcome custo- oh Akura-kun is it already time for your refresh appointment?" one of the girls asked showing just how much of a regular he truly was.

"haha no I'll go for just a basic routine this time. Buut my friend here needs the remodel package." Akura tells her putting a hand on Lee's shoulder.

"Oh! Well customer we will help you feel like a whole new man." The woman states clearly straining to keep from reacting to Lee's current style.

"L-let's get started." Lee states a bit nervous. After that Lee sat down the next hour or so was spent getting various treatments that the writer isn't even going to try to think off until finally his beauty treatment was finished.

"Woah!" Lee couldn't help but mutter as he looked at his face. (Lee now looks like how he did as a child before Guy started training him but obviously with a more masculine look to it. Also he got a hair cut in the package as well because he DEF needs it. Oh and all and all )

"Looking good Lee-san but we aren't done yet." Akura states with a smile seeing as he had to admit that without the hair and eye brows he looked loads better. "Come on let's go!" he adds grabbing Lee's hand and dragging him out the door with a smile on his face.

Meanwhile the girls in the store watched the men leave with smiles on their face.

"You know he actually looks pretty good without that awful style." One of the girls says.

"Ya. But it is nice that Akura finally found someone to be with." Another girl said with a smile.

"Does he go that way?" yet another girl asked.

*shrug* "I mean a few of us tried to give him pretty obvious hints that we were interested but he never did anything." The second girl stated.

~Lee and Akura; clothing shop~

…. "Thank you for your purchase" the cashier states with a smile looking at Lee in his new clothes.

"And now with your wardrobe changed you are basically a new man. How does it feel being handsome?" Akura askes with a smirk.

"It feels good Akura-san thank you so much." Lee states giving Akura a hug. This made said pink haired man feel all of Lee's toned muscle for a few seconds before he finally tried to push the happy taijutsu specialist.

"Ya ya now do you have tomorrow off?"

"Yosh yes I do other than my daily exercises!" Lee states with a thumbs up.

"Perfect then go plan a nice date and I'll make sure sis is all ready for you." Akura tells him with a smile. "Lee truly is a decent man I am sure if Sakura get's her head out of her ass she would realize that he will do everything in his power to keep her happy…now I just gotta make her realize that." He thought determined.

"Yosh!" Lee calls out and Akura watched as he blurred out of his sight.

~Haruno residence~

After making it home Akura was happy to see that his sister did indeed leave her room and was now eating some sweets while she watched some tv.

"Hey sis I managed to find the perfect guy for you to go on a date with today."
"Huh who?" Sakura asks confused

"Lee bu-"

"Hell no! Have you seen how weird he lo-"

"If you would shut up I'd explain!" Akura tells her with a glare making Sakura go quiet. "I just spent the day getting Lee to get rid of that monstrosity that he called a style and now he actually looks pretty darn good. Plus that crazy guy will make sure that you stay happy so why don't you give him a chance? He'll pick you up tomorrow."

"Wait you already set up a date for me!?" Sakura asked enraged.

"Ya ya I know you are upset about that part but come on he will get you out of the funk you are in and-"
"And nothing you bastard! First of Lee is a weirdo through and through even if you change the outside you won't change the fact that his personality is just as creepy! Not to mention that he has NO chance of ever becoming anything more than a basic ninja in Konoha so no I will NEVER date him!" Sakura tells Akura then stormed off. Course he just stood there stunned for a moment before clenching his fists.

"How dare she not even give him a chance! Not to mention I didn't realize that she isn't just one of mom's pawns but truly is a clone of her sick ideas…why does my family have to be so slimy…but what am I going to do now? It'll break Lee's heart if she doesn't even give him a chance.." Akura thinks sadly.

Time then passes and before he knew it Lee was knocking on the door. So, with a sigh Akura did the only thing he could think of to keep Lee from being traumatized. He slowly opens the door and sees Lee with a bright smile and a large bouquet.

"Yosh! Sakura-chan I am here to finally give you the perfect day!" Lee says happily with his eyes practically sparkling with excitement.

Seeing this Akura instantly regrets his plan but still continues it and holds up a note book that had a small paragraph on it.

"Hello Lee-kun I am sorry but my voice isn't good today. But if you want we can still go out."

"Huh?... Hai Sakura-chan that is no worries I will love our time together even though I can't hear your angelic voice." Lee tells him with a smile. "Now let's go!" Lee states and grabs Akura's hand and pulls him away from the house.

What followed was a slow walk through one of Konoha's parks hand in hand with Lee treating them not only to ice cream but also to some dango. This was then followed by a movie where Lee made absolutely no moves on Akura other than intertwining his fingers with him on the arm rest. They finally ended up at a nice restaurant known to cater towards girls with their delectable deserts.

"Ah Sakura-chan this date has been truly wonderful." Lee states with a small smile. For after he calmed down his hyper self changed into quite the charmer without ever pushing the line too far.

"Indeed I have been enjoying myself and the time I have spent with you Lee-kun" Akura wrote actually honest. For while he was a male he couldn't help but find himself truly enjoying all the compliments and small things Lee was doing to try and make 'Sakura' enjoy her day as much as possible. But all this changed when Akura saw Ino and Sakura enter the restaurant something Lee quickly noticed as well.

"Huh? Akura-san is with Ino-san?" Lee muttered surprised.

"-honestly my brother is just crazy right!?" Lee heard Sakura state and his eyes widened in surprise just like the girls that saw the two boys sitting there.

"Woah that's Lee? He actually looks pretty darn good without Guy's influence on his appearance." Ino thought surprised.

"Sakura-chan?" Lee muttered then looked over at 'Sakura'

"I am sorry Lee-san…my sister was being such a bitch but I couldn't ruin your day after all the work we did…so I fibbed a bit." Akura admitted to Lee who had a few tears in his eyes clearly hurt.

"Ha so just because I said I wouldn't date this weirdo you brought it upon yourself to drive the dagger further into his weird heart. Wow brother I never thought that you would be so devious." Sakura states making Ino's eyes widen.

"Sakura that is too far. Lee-san is a good guy!" Ino tells her but Sakura just shrugs it off.

"Who cares he is just a weird dysfunctional ninja that has no chance of getting anywhere thanks to not being able to use chakra. You-" Sakura began only to stop when Akura slammed his fists on the table.

"And this is why I did it!" Akura states standing up and pointing at Sakura. "You and mother are both just toxic people that hide your disgusting souls under loads of false promises and acting. I faked this date not for some sick thrill but rather to save Lee from realizing that you have your head too far up your ass to realize that there is more to people than power. I mean from what I have seen if you actually gave him the time of day instead of being the bitch you are you would have noticed that he is an amazing guy that would make anyone happy!" Akura states in rage.

"How dare yo-" Sakura begins only to be stopped.

"No how dare you! In fact I bet you weren't even after that betrayer because of his looks huh? Instead you lusted after his clan and his money. But that isn't all there is to a relationship you stupid-" Akura began before noticing Lee stood up as well.

"Thank you Akura-kun while I was hurt at first you doing all of this for me truly means the world for me. While I can't say this date went great I am still happy that you went as far as you did for me." Lee states putting money on the table and then glared at Sakura. "And I now see that you are nothing other than a witch that only wants to further herself with other's abilities because you are too weak to do it yourself." Lee states then walks away from the table.

"…ya know he's got a point…even I have worked myself past the fangirl phase while you still hardly are in the chunin range." Ino mutters making Sakura blush in embarrassment and rage.

+Years later+

Years past from that first date and surprisingly Lee actually came back about a month after the first date and talked honestly with Akura. For other than Guy Akura was the first person to truly see him as anything other than a crazy goof ball; something he found rather pleasant. So, they tried it again and quickly found themselves enjoying their dates and even ended up moving in together when Akura's mother kicked him out of the house for coming out.

Sadly for her though this quickly was known by the village just like the rumors of her being power hungry and she soon found herself being replaced as a civilian representative by the very person she kicked out. Meanwhile Lee worked his way up to be even more well known for his Taijutsu and was given the responsibility to instruct all Konoha ninja in the art including helping the Anbu with their styles. Meanwhile Sakura grew up and quickly found her friends leaving as she insulted them in one way or another and the rumors of her family ruining any chance she had when she tried to woo anyone that she deemed to have enough power. So, she found herself barely scratching by on a chunin's salary thanks to her inability to take even the higher tier missions her rank gave her while all alone.

This is why she found herself standing in front of Lee's house awkwardly as she waited for him to respond to her knock.

"Hello…Sakura-san." Lee states still in his new style without any emotion on his face.

"H-hello Lee-kun…I am sorry for all those things that I said to you all those years ago. Really I am…Now I know you are influential and everything but I promise to the almighty log that I don't want to take any of that from you. What I want…is to give you the chance I should have given you all those years ago….s-so will you go out with me?" Sakura asks nervous as his expression never changed. Though at this moment she noticed a pair of arm wrap around Lee's waist and saw Akura rest his head on Lee's shoulder.

"Hon who's at the door?" Akura asked with a smile as he only looked at Lee.

"No one important as you can see." Lee tells him with a warm smile before turning back to Sakura. "I am sorry Sakura-san while I appreciate the apology I am more than happy with my current life so I will have to decline your offer….As you can see." Lee states giving Akura a quick kiss.

"I-I see….have a good day" Sakura muttered walking away from the house as the door closed behind her.

And that is where we are going to end this chapter. Now I know that it didn't have the most of a chapter in here seeing as most was my side story…but I have been busy with my house stuff and being sick so I didn't have much time to push into the story. And I mean by this is that the more serious stuff actually takes me a decent amount longer to come up with seeing as I don't want to mess it up on stupid stuff even I can notice. Plus, this side story idea has been in my head for a while ever since I read a message about not having Sakura in the harem seeing as they hated her. Now like I said I am neutral about Sakura but it seems that even the owner of Naruto used her for more cringe worthy humor than anything else for the most part…I mean she had a chance with saving Kankuro and the fight of that 'section' but it just kind of got forgotten about after. But anyways I hope you enjoyed mostly the side story and I promise that I won't do a bunch of filler arcs like some people do…I just had to get this out of my head. Ja Ne.
