Hello readers and welcome to the next chapter. Now I again will say that I am sorry that the last chapter in my opinion wasn't the best…but like I said I just dislike the idea of saying "oh this base was built up in five seconds". At least with that chapter it gave a basic idea that they took some time to set up their MAIN base. Other bases will be made most likely but I won't be taking the time to say that they built them up and stuff like that again. So I guess treat it more of like a side story like thing but that is up to you. Anyways I also am happy to say that I finally get to move into my house at the start of this month (yes the paperwork and everything took FOREVER to go through/get finished). Anyways I mention this seeing as I am getting use to having it/being in the house/setting up the house so I MAY have had this chapter pushed to next month…but as of this writing it still will be put up in August but who knows. After all IRL comes first for EVERYONE…though I do hope I don't have that many issues. Course none of you will see this/find out until AFTER this chapter is put out so…surprise I guess.

P.S.S in this story there is other villages/groups int eh alliance but the main villages call the shots while the smaller groups give support. (Shizuka not included due to pregnancy of course)

Chapter 94

=Allied Ninja base; meeting room=

After the base was situated all the kages found themselves sitting in a fortified room much like the room they met in in the land of iron. The only difference was that there was a large map placed in the middle of the room.

"So, we have learned a lot about the lower levels of the black blood creatures after everything that happened yesterday. To start off while a swarm of those infectious bastards seems dangerous; they actually have quite the blaring weak point." Tsunade starts reading from a scroll. "If the person that is the 'leader' of their group is eliminated then they apparently just follow whatever the last order given to them was." She finished with a small smirk

"So, our men just need to kill the pest's leader before they can be told to attack and we don't need to worry about the whole lot of them. It may be easier said then done but at least we have a plan to make them easier to deal with." Mei states.

"Tsk well we plan on having those bastards…I mean Konoha mind walkers spread out among our troops to relay messages when radios wont work. So, most groups should have a way to destroy a mind while still being able to do their job with our information hub." Onoki adds trying at least slightly to hide the still present hatred of Konoha shinobi he had.

"…as much as I hate to agree with the midget, they would be the easiest way to destroy whatever method those weirdos have of controlling their creatures." A agrees seeing as it was rather obvious that the control had something to do with the brain.

"Yes. But let us also take note of the fact that one of the problems we will be facing is the enemy using the infectious aspect of Orochimaru's creation in a horrifyingly effective way. With the fact that there may be other methods to spread his plague hidden away being held over our heads." Mifune adds knowing the many ways things such as poison could be used and spread.

"Indeed we must make sure that our top priority is to keep our troops from ending up fighting against us as those…things. But we must also keep a watch out for anymore tricks the Sound village has. Even if they are hardly organized there is a reason they have been able to avoid being whipped out." Mei says.

"Sadly you are correct we need to use caution while fighting Orochimaru and whatever he has been able to create. But at least we have some more tactics against what will be a good portion of the enemy troops." Tsunade states seriously. After all he has had years to experiment on people and collect people with similar 'hobbies' as he does.

"Tsk let's make sure we don't forget the issue that is those idiots that were on guard duty nearly caused a catastrophe if one single member of them wasn't competent." A growled out.

"Agreed" the rest of the group said knowing just what would have had happened had one person not have been watching. And with that being agreed upon the punishment was quickly figured out and the fools that decided to unintentionally risked the entire base was hard labor. Labor that would be anything and everything their leaders told them to do.

~Sound village~

"Sir the advanced troops weren't successful at their sneak attack" a ninja told Kabuto.

"Well I suppose that is what we expected anyways. At least they caused some chaos I suppose. Were our troops able to reach their bases?" Kabuto asks shuffling through some papers showing how little he cared about the troops.

"Yes sir, all bases were able to be set up and should be ready to follow orders within only a few hours. But I why are we setting these up without Lord Orochimaru knowing?" the man asks.

*sigh* "Orochimaru-sama is confident of our victory but is not interested in things like trying have our village hurt as little as possible while doing so. So, it is my job to make sure that while we still win this war we also have as little damage to our current programs as possible. In fact, the only troops that I am not bothering to work on trying to keep is the trash tier daku. After all they are far too easy to replace.

"I see thank you for explaining Kabuto-sama I will make sure that your plans are carried out as best as I can." The man stated with a bow and quickly left the room.

*sigh* "I wish I was as gullible as that idiot was. Orochimaru-sama may think that there is no chance of us losing even if we do nothing but I have my doubts…besides when I eventually gain all his resources, I actually want some to be left over. And maybe during all this fighting I can get a few samples to upgrade my body with." Kabuto thought.

+Meanwhile+

Orochimaru currently was standing in a room filled with fast moving targets with his eyes moving around rapidly he smirked as he threw several kunai making several thuds sound out as the kunai hit things in the room. He then stopped the targets and had his smile grow larger as he saw every target with a kunai in the center of their rings.

"Kukuku these eyes are working perfectly." He muttered seeing as this level of speed passed even his normal vision. "With the sharingan in my possession who cares how much of my resources are destroyed as long as I win. After all I am more than powerful enough to rebuild my facilities easily as long as the kages perish." Orochimaru thought already picturing his enemies dead beneath his feet. He then walked calmly out of the room and walked back to his own research laboratory.

"With this bloodline in my grasp I will finally be able to learn everything this world has to offer. Learning every justu has just been speed up drastically all thanks to one cocky brat." Orochimaru states happily imagining how the suppressed soul of Sasuke was feeling knowing that he was nothing but a king pin to keep his old body functioning. Course as far as he was aware the small amount of the soul that was left after he took control wasn't able to give the host any cognitive thought or mental strength. Still thinking of the anger the man that thought he was a god among men would be feeling was more than enough to keep a smile on his face. He then looked around at the various tubes of solution he had with a frown. "tsk, I just hope this body lasts long enough for Sasuke's kids to grow up and produce more loyal offspring for me….after all that is the only thing that could cause damage to my plans. Thankfully there are more than enough failsafes set up. So come here kages; come to your deaths and then no one will be able to stop me." Orochimaru says happily as he began to work on a few of his other projects.

~Allied Villages~

After the kage meeting they all started another meeting with several of their most trusted and battle knowledgeable shinobi. A meeting that lasted a long time but eventually a plan to start pinning the Sound village was created. Thus, they ended up where they currently were which was sitting in their meeting room with prepicked squad captains coming in to receive their groups orders. While this happened a team of messengers quickly was going around the camp telling each person which squad, they were to report to. Thanks to each of these things happening in tandem the entire camp was ready to begin their missions within only a few hours.

"Ok squad you all know our tasks so make sure each one of you watches each other's backs. Remember while we are stuck fighting those bastards and their monsters, we are all one power. Leave all your hate and distrust of other villages till after this war is over; because I promise you that if you try to act on it now I will personally make sure your ass beat back into submission. With those creatures out there, we don't have time to fight each other so instead take your rage out on those fools that think they are tough shit. Now with that being said let's move out. I wanna reach our target by dusk people!" one of the squad leaders called out with a large group of ninja following him out of the camp. Course they were all kept in the information loop thanks to each of the groups having specialist who's only job was to relay messages given from the command base and given to the base.

~Sound Village~

Besides Kabuto's basic order of having several bases around the area be ready for battle and having various groups of daku patrol around no real orders. So, thanks to that each of the groups were doing their own things to prepare for the war. Though somehow even with all of the chaos caused by this the village was reasonably well defended overall. Partially due to the fact that all the sound shinobi were painfully aware of what would wait for them if they left an exploitable gap in their defenses. Though none of them actually thought that their village was truly able to lose to the allied forces largely due to the widespread belief that they were superior to normal ninja now after their various 'upgrades'.

"Now remember gang if it seems like you are somehow gonna be overrun make sure you flee and try to bring your foes to some other groups to fight. Afterall after we win this we might as well make sure that we get to be higher up on the food chain here. So, make sure you bastards don't die on me…you all gotta know how hard it was for me to have Kabuto himself work on your upgrades." A random sound village group leader told the people that he was able to have collected as subordinates. In his mind he knew that they would be able to handle anything the normal ninja could throw at them…but why risk having his group die off when some of his competition could die instead if the worst-case scenario happened.

+Time passes+

Hours pass as each group does their own plans without meeting each other. Course this only could last for so long.

"Shh, we are nearing the hostile area. Be on guard and scan the permitter." The squad leader orders the allied forces approached a door in the hill that was practically covered in moss except for showing visible signs of recent movement. Course there were no one around the area but they still went cautiously just in case there were traps or something hidden in the woods around them.

"Sir we have found that there is no traps to be detected and from our sensor's report there are approximately twenty unknowns behind these walls. The tracks on the ground show a similar answer." One of the men with the squad leader told the man seriously. "But man, who would expect us to find one of their bases already." He added in a more relaxed tone.

"Tsk, come on man act serious we are in enemy territory right now." The leader grumbles.

"Right boss." The man stated clearly not bothered by the grumbling at all. Still he moved on and looked over at their selected messenger.

"Inform the kages of our location. And ask about further instructions." The squad leader orders the ninja who quickly nods and fires up the machine on his back.

"Tsk, we should just go in there and wipe out the enemy while we wait for the kages answer. It's what A-sama would want us to do anyways." Another ninja states annoyed with the examination process.

"Listen I know we will most likely be taking over this base but especially right now information is critical so we must follow instructions. And in case you forgot our only instructions currently is to investigate and report our findings." The squad leader stated firmly. So, they continued to keep looking around the base to try finish mapping around the area while making absolutely sure there were no traps around. Several minutes pass and finally the messenger came back over to the leader.

"Sir we have a reply from the main base. They have given us an all clear to investigate the base but be cautious; our enemy's tactics are numbers are widely unknown." The man states.

"Yes finally!" The first man calls out overhearing the reply making everyone stare at him.

"…Anyways you heard our new orders. We will be going in to the base and taking anything that may help us in this war. Now due to our size we will be splitting into teams that will be going in at separate times just in case the worse happens to some of us. Do not and I repeat do NOT take any chances. Orochimaru is an S class threat for a reason. There is no telling what strange plans and concoctions he has left in the hands of his ninja.

"Tsk, whatever let's just go in and bust these guys head open….if they are anything like that snake bastard they probably are more fucked up egg heads then actual fighters." The man who complained stated then looked around the group. "Who ever wants first dibs with me come on we move NOW." The man stated walked towards the door. Course everyone else couldn't help but look from the man to their squad leader.

*sigh* " I know he's an idiot and will be dealt with…but at least we have a volunteer for first one to enter. After all it is all too obvious that this place will have quite a few tricks. Who ever decides to go just try your best to keep hot head alive alright?" the leader stated and a small group quickly follows the man into the base.

Thankfully even though he was acting rash the man had at least enough common sense to look for and have any trap they could find deactivated before rushing through the room. So, they were making it through the base rather cleanly with no real opposition. Plus by this time two more groups have made it into the base and were following along examining the rooms they passed.

"Tsk what kind of base is this? Sure they have traps but are they really gonna let us just walk all the way through there stuff without even ANY bloodshed" the hot head grumbled.

"Quit complaining we know there are hostiles in this base so you will have your chance. Focus on completing our mission as safely as possible." A woman tells him with a glare.

"Whatever" the man grunts but they still continue on being as cautious as they have been until they finally reached a large room that had a mixture of sound researchers and ninja.

"Welcome to our base ninja-sans." A researcher tells them with a small bow.

"What the…are we even gonna fight or are you just giving up?" the hot head asked in disbelief.

"Oh no, no we are without a doubt not going to just give up. We just want to see how things will work out." The researcher states with a smile that quickly turned dark. "I just wanted to greet the first test mice we got to play with. Now Sarutu-kun if you would please start us off" the researcher stated looking to his right where a ninja quickly went through a few hand signs and blew a small fireball at the group. Now the fire ball was quickly blocked by a wall of earth but it did manage to set of the sprinkler system.

"Hahaha do you really think some weak attack like that is good enough to beat me? Your own base is even helping us!" the hot head states with a wide smile.

"Yes it seems that we are at quite a disadvantage doesn't it." The researcher states just watching the fight continued as their side using ranged attacks as the allied forces slowly were able to come closer and closer to them. Course at this point the water that was coming out of the sprinklers was pooling on the ground creating puddles. Something that one of the allied ninja quickly was distracted by.

The man kept glancing at the puddles while still trying to fight even while distracted. "Why does my instincts tell me this water is significant. Actually come to think of it why is the coloration so strange it is almost as if they put something into it.." the man thought then looked over and noticed a few of their group was standing still now. "What the hell are you doing!" he called out and grabbed their shoulder only to see that they had black lines on them. "W-what?" he muttered before all the pieces quickly clicked together. "Guys we need to get the fuck out of the sprinklers NOW!" He yelled out to the rest of the team that slowly began to realize themselves.

"Kukuku it seems they have finally started to notice the experiment." The researcher stated happily.

"Can it even be called an experiment if you just dilute those monster's blood into the bases water system? Which I would state would be VERY bad for us if we didn't make sure to block the sprinklers around us and even then I am scared that the blocks may break." One of the ninja stated.

"Well that is just a fact of life. Tests can be dangerous at times and you just have to accept that. After all it is all in the name of knowledge." The man states happily.

"these researchers are so fucken crazy." A ninja muttered now more relaxed as the fight finished up seeing as the allied force was trying to flee. Sadly for each of the groups that went into the base they were unable to make it out before they turned leaving the confrontation truly over. The sound group then took control of the new daku they created throughout the base after making sure the sprinklers were off.

"Kukuku, Be sure to send a message to Kabuto-sama that the blood diffused through water does work albeit at a much slower pace than the normal infections. Oh and would someone please go out there and wipe out the rest of whatever group they have out there. Feel free to try out our newest creations." A researcher called out getting nods in return.

Man I will tell you readers that moving and well all of the house buying process is a giant pain in the butt. Not to mention I have had various other problems come in front of me as well making this month be quite the struggle. In all honesty I am still not even sure if I made the right call thanks to the crazy times we live in but just have to bite the bullet at this point. So, for all of you out there regardless of who you are and what kind of situation you are in I hope you are able to fight through them. I am trying my best myself but giving up is the worse thing you can do. Just make sure all of you keep fighting to survive and live your lives the way you want to in these troubled times. I honestly hope they get better soon but who knows…but still just stand strong and give it your best shot. That way you can have no regrets…and I hope that I will be able to stand with you all the same.

Welp that is where I am gonna end this. As I said countless times here I am way too busy with life stuff at the moment but hopefully I will be able to get to a point where I can create chapters that I fully feel good about and not stretch this out longer than it has to be. But for now Ja Ne.
