After lunch, the Goseigers went outside to play dodgeball. The weather improved, and it wasn't so cloudy anymore.
"Magis must've been starving," Moune said, as they walked outside. "He devoured a lot of chicken, broccoli, salad, and fries."
"Even I don't eat as much as him," Agri replied, "and, to maintain my physical strength, I must eat lots of protein. If I don't eat enough, I might get sick and nauseous."
"If we, the Goseigers, could utilize dodgeball as a finishing attack against enemies," Hyde said, "that'd be cool!"
"Sounds wonderful, Hyde," Magis said. "Dodgeball is so much fun."
"I'm carrying all the dodgeballs in this bag," Eri said. She carried a big, mesh sack of dodgeballs on her back.
"I'm also up to it," Alata replied, giving a thumbs up. "Nozomu let us borrow these balls, right?"
"Yes," Eri replied, as they reached the Amachi's backyard. "Nozomu and his friends enjoy dodgeball a lot."
-
As expected, the Goseigers were enjoying dodgeball. Magis seemed to be the best player.
"Catch!" Magis shouted, throwing two balls at once, in two directions. Hyde and Alata almost caught them. Almost.
Hyde and Alata fell down, feeling dizzy. "Oh my goodness," Hyde spoke, "Magis is the master of dodgeball, isn't he?"

One of Nozomu's friends, Masato (nicknamed Mr. M) was at a community health center. He played ball with a wheelchair user, named Anzu*. Anzu looked relatively normal, and his speech was normal, but a painful traffic accident damaged his nervous system - leaving him unable to move his legs, toes, or feet. Prior to the accident, he was diagnosed - by the same hospital - with an autoimmune disorder and inflammatory bowel disease - with painful inflammation in his intestines.
Anzu smiled, catching the ball. "Mr. M, you're a very kind player."
Mr. M smiled and did a peace sign. "You're welcome, Anzu. Prior to my friendship with Nozomu, I didn't have interest in caring for special needs residents."
"What?" Anzu asked, feeling a bit hurt.
"At first, I was too scared," Mr. M replied. "In terms of caring for the handicapped, I thought it'd be scary, with people screaming, acting weird, and grunting all the time. But, it's far better than I expected."
"OK, I forgive you," Anzu replied. "I can't walk at all. My speech is pretty normal. Not all handicapped people act like that. Except for my wheelchair, I look and act pretty normal."
Due to hunger, Anzu reached into his diaper bag, picking up an organic vegetable (carrot-beet)
purée pouch. He unscrewed the cap, and he gently squeezed the food into his mouth.
"I'm new to caring for special needs residents," Mr. M replied. "You're a very kind guy. -
Taking a break from dodgeball, the Goseigers drank some water, wiped away sweat with washcloths, and wiped dirt off dodgeballs.
"Alata," Hyde asked, "don't you think Magis is a little... strange? Before his death, he acted so differently."
"How?" Alata asked.
"I think he forgot something," Hyde replied. "When I asked Magis if he remembers me rescuing him, he's left speechless. No comment. And he looks away."
"He's still a young Goseiger," Alata said. "In his age range, he shouldn't be having memory problems."
"But," Hyde replied, "he acted perfectly normal in our proximity. I didn't see any other memory problem signs."
"Aha!" Alata felt a bit angry. "More proof that this Magis is a-"
Hyde calmed Alata down, grabbing his shoulders. "Alata, don't jump to conclusions! We're having a great time with him!"
"Well... alright," Alata replied. "Don't make him angry."

Inside the Amachi's residence, Datas was sweaty, shivering, and unable to calm down. As he stared at the ground, his database was further inspecting this Magis.
Professor Shuchiro and Nozomu just returned from a fishing trip. Datas would normally greet them, but this situation was overwhelming him. He murmured in distress.
"Datas? What's the matter?" Nozomu asked.
"You've been acting weird lately," Shuchiro added. "Is your system overheating? We have good treatments against overheating."
"Overheating?" Datas stuttered. "I'm just nervous. The Goseigers really love this Magis. Alata seems to be the odd one out. Only he's concerned about this Magis."
"Do you think he's going to attack us?" Nozomu asked, worried.
"But... I thought this Magis was friendly!" Shuchiro gasped.
"I'm unsure," Datas replied. "I further inspected this Magis. However, my system has still detected no bombs nor attack systems in him. But, it's possible for someone else to install it... long after the demon beast had no attack system."
