The Madrigals revive an old game from the triplets' childhood and begin gathering at midnight to share made-up stories based on existing tales. Each character has a preferred genre and unique narrative style that's influenced by their personality and/or gift. Further character development is woven through their stories as they unintentionally bring up baggage from the past.

The Madrigal Family go to the City on vacation, but with magic anything can happen.

Mirabel forgave her Abuela, but what about everyone else? Will they forgive her as readily? What all happened during the reconstruction? How do you encourage others to move past the past? Several months since Casita was rebuilt and the magic reborn, things for the Madrigal family have gotten much better. The same cannot be said for Bruno. With the return of his gift, he's begun to withdraw from the family again. However, he then has a vision of outsiders arriving in the Encanto who may be what he needs to break free from his past and find happiness

Mirabel never really knew Camilo, until the period of the reconstruction of the Casita, when she would have to face a broken heart. But later in her life She will have two options, to run with the wrong person, or to face a forbidden love and her family.
