"Hello," she said and Romeo gave her a confused look.

"Who are you?" Romeo asked with a sleepy tone as the oxygen mask over his nose and mouth fogged up.

"I'm your doctor."

"Is this….?" he asked as he looked around the room with his eyes. "Is this a hospital?"

"That's what we're tryin' t'figure out," Connor said while he walked to the bed and Romeo looked at him.

"Connor?"

"Aye, it's me."

"Where's Murphy?"

"I'm over here," Murphy said, lowering the oxygen mask and Romeo moved his eyes to look at him.

"Move," the first young woman asked. Connor walked back to his bed when he carefully sat down on the edge of the bed and he watched her examine Romeo.

"Is he ok?" Connor asked.

"Yes, I believe he's going to be just fine," she said, giving Romeo a reassuring smile. She wrote the information in his medical file as Romeo sighed then she looked at the oxygen mask. "Want to see if you can breathe on your own?"

"Yeah," Romeo said.

She moved the oxygen mask covering Romeo's nose and mouth down as he breathed through his nose a few times and he smiled. She replaced the oxygen mask with breathing tubes and she tightened the strap so the breathing tubes would stay in his nose.

"What's your name?" Romeo asked.

"I am Doctor Angelica Traynor," Angelica said.

"I'm Romeo."

"I know."

"Um, not t'be rude, but are you goin' t'tell us what's goin' on or not?" Connor asked.

"Aye. What's Smecker doin' here?" Murphy asked.

"Bloom said he faked his death."

"I heard that part."

"I'm wondering how we got outta prison," Romeo said.

"Smecker broke us out," Connor said.

"Well, technically, my friends and I broke you out of prison," Angelica corrected and he nodded.

"Too bad you missed it, Romeo. Th'warden looked like he was gonna have a stroke," Murphy said. Angelica saw the crooked, mischievous grin on his face and she softly laughed.

"Aye, he did. But I still don't get why he said you were in a coma," Connor said, looking at Murphy.

"It was a ruse," Angelica explained.

"Why would he do that?" Romeo asked.

"I think it was t'make sure no one got in t'see us," Connor said.

"Then why did he escort Uncle Sibeal t'the infirmary when he came t'visit us?" Murphy asked. He wanted to sit up, but his left leg hurt and he made a soft moan.

"Murph?" Connor asked while he and Angelica walked to Murphy's bed and she saw the pain in Murphy's eyes.

"I knew I should have dealt with your leg before we brought you in here," she said while moving the sheet back and she saw a few spots of blood on the bandage.

"Why does it keep doing that?" Murphy asked as she examined his left calf.

"It looks like the wound on your leg wasn't stitched correctly. Every time you move, the wound opens and your leg starts bleeding."

"Do you think you can fix it?"

"Yes."

"When?"

"Today. If that's ok with you."

"Aye. It's fine."

Angelica went to get some medical supplies as she put on a pair of surgical gloves then she placed some gauze, cotton balls, bandages, some gauze and medical tape on a tray and she walked back to the bed.

"Can we come back in now?" Paul asked as he appeared in the doorway, but he failed to see Murphy moving the oxygen mask up then Murphy closed his eyes.

"Yes. But I do need my surgical team ready."

"Why?"

"I need to operate on Murphy MacManus."

"Why do you need t'operate?" Sibeal asked.

"He's bleeding. I don't know what kind of doctors they employ at that prison, but they suck. I'm amazed their wounds haven't become infected or their friend made it through surgery."

Connor saw the frightened look on Romeo's face as he walked to Romeo's bed and Romeo held out his right hand. Connor took Romeo's hand as he wrapped their fingers together and Smecker frowned.

"Are you sure you need to operate?" Paul asked.

"Weren't you fuckin' listenin'?!" Connor asked with a growl.

"Yeah, I was. Just don't see what the fuss is all about. Put a band aid on it and he'll be fine."

Connor glared at him when Connor let go of Romeo's hand and he stormed toward Murphy's bed. He slid his arms under Murphy as he tried to lift him up, but his right shoulder and stomach screamed in pain and Angelica lightly moved him back.

"What the hell are you trying to do?!" she asked and she saw fresh blood spreading over the bandage on Connor's right shoulder and the bandage wrapped around his lower chest and stomach.

"I was gonna pick him up an' carry him t'the operation room," Connor said.

"Sit down."

Connor sat on his hospital bed as she placed the tray on the small table between the beds and she moved back the bandage over the wound on his right shoulder. He hissed as she cleaned the blood away then she changed the bandage and he gave her an apologetic look. She moved the bandage around his lower chest and stomach back as she saw the blood and she sighed.

"Looks like I'm going to have to operate on you, too."

"Great," he sighed and he barely saw the smile on his twin's face.

"Go get someone to bring stretchers in here," she ordered while she looked at Smecker and Smecker headed down the hallway.

Eunice and Sibeal entered the room as they looked at Connor, Angelica, Romeo and Murphy and Sibeal frowned.

"You didn't answer my question. Why do you need t'operate on Murphy?" Sibeal asked.

"His left calf is bleeding," Angelica explained.

"Why?"

"The stitches in his calf were done incorrectly. Every time he moves his leg, the wound opens and he starts bleeding.":

"I see," he said as he looked at Connor. "As fer you. What were you thinkin'?"

"Smecker pissed me off," Connor said with a sigh.

"An' now you gotta get yer stitches redone as well."

Connor nodded while Smecker and four guards entered the room and two of the guards guided the stretcher to Murphy's bed. The guards helped her place Murphy on the stretcher as they headed for the door and Smecker slightly flinched at the harsh glare Connor was giving him.

In the operating room, Murphy made a little grunting sound after they had placed him on the operating table and he looked up at the ceiling. He knew it was childish to want Connor there with him as he tried not to panic, but he felt his hands shaking.

"Hey," made him look to the left as Angelica smiled at him and she saw the fear in his eyes. "What's the matter?"

"I… I want Connor," he said in a soft voice.

"What? Are you telling me Murphy "I'm a badass Saint" MacManus is scared?" she teased in a soft voice and he arched an eyebrow.

"No."

She knew he was lying and he sighed.

"Maybe,"

"Well, I assure you that you're going to be just fine," she said and she lightly patted his left shoulder. He watched her leave the room then he looked up at the large lamp over the operation table and he blinked his eyes a few times. Angelica returned a few minutes later and he saw she was dressing in surgical clothes, gloves, cap and mask and he pressed his lips into a thin line. She looked down at him as he watched the gas mask being placed over his nose and mouth and he made a tiny whimper. "It's ok. Just relax."

"Easy fer you t'say," he said under the gas mask and he closed his eyes. He took a few deep breathes as he smelt something sweet and he started drifting off to sleep. Once she was sure Murphy was asleep, Angelica looked at her surgical team then she nodded her head for them to start operating on him.

"Fuck," Smecker said after he had returned to his office and Eunice walked in the room. She closed the door then she walked to the desk and she sat down on the chair in front of the desk.

"What's wrong now?" Eunice asked.

"I am just tired of people fucking with me."

"Who's fucking with you?"

"The priest."

"Sibeal?"

"He's lying to us."

"He is?"

"Remember when Murphy pissed the bed? If Murphy's in a coma, he would have a catheter in him. One of my partners was in a car accident and broke both of his legs and damaged his hip. They put a catheter in so he wouldn't wet the bed."

"Maybe Doctor Traynor is right. Those so-called doctors at the prison suck and they forgot to put one in."

"What about a feeding tube? If Murphy has been in a coma for a month, they would have put one in to prevent him from starving to death. That Romeo guy had one."

"How did you know that?"

"Doctor Traynor told me."

"Oh."

"And Sibeal doesn't seem that upset about Murphy being in a coma. I know I would be in a fucking panic if my nephew was in a coma and needed surgery."

"Right."

"And what about Connor? This is his twin brother we're talking about! Sure, we were told he got upset about them putting his brother in another ambulance, but he seems too calm about him needing surgery."

"You call that calm? He tried to pick him up and carry him into surgery. And now he needs his stitches redone."

"Yeah. But I still feel like Sibeal is lying."

"But why would Sibeal lie about Murphy being in a coma? We're on his side."

"The only side he's on is his own."

"You're wrong," made them look at Sibeal after he had opened the door and he walked to the desk. He sat down on the chair next to the chair where Eunice was sitting and he placed his hands in his laps. "I am on yer side."

"You lied to us!"

"No, I only told you what th'warden told me."

"So, is Murphy awake?"

"Aye, he is."

"Then it was the other guy… Romeo… He was the one in a coma?"

"Aye."

"He's not in one now."

"According t'Doctor Traynor, he just woke up."

"Look…"

"Smecker," Eunice said as she held up her hands and he looked at her. "Never mind who lied to who about what. We did what we set out to do. We got the Saints out of prison."

Smecker pressed his lips into a thin line while he had a silent conversation with himself then he sat back in the chair.

"Yeah, we did," Paul said as he smiled and he placed his hands behind his head.

The Infirmary

Murphy wasn't sure how long he had been asleep as he started waking up and he made a small sigh. He slowly opened his eyes and he heard a soft beeping noise. He turned his head to the right while blinking his eyes a few times and the blurry screen of the heart monitor became clearer. He looked at the numbers when he felt fingers moving through his hair and he turned his head to look at Angelica.

"Hey there," she said and he gave her a tiny smile.

"Hullo," Murphy said with a sleepy tone. He was awake enough to realize his left leg, left side of his chest and right shoulder didn't hurt and he watched her examining him. He turned his head to look over at Connor and Romeo while she wrote the information in his medical file then she lightly tapped his chest to make him look at her. "How are my brudder an' Romeo?"

"They're fine."

Nodding, Murphy noticed the new bandage around his lower chest and stomach and the bandage went up and over his right shoulder.

"Besides redoing the stitches on your calf and shoulder, I redid the stitches on the left side of your chest then I cleaned the scratches on your back," Angelica said while she closed his medical file and she tapped the pen on the file. "You should have seen the way they bandaged you up."

"I did feel like summat was pokin' me in th'back."

"Mind telling me why you have a tattoo of what looks like someone's legs and feet lying on a piece of wood?"

"It's supposed t'be Lord Jesus' legs an' feet an' th'cross."

"Am I right in thinking the tattoo on your brother's back is the cross and Jesus' head and chest?"

"Aye, that's what it's supposed t'be."

"Who did the artwork? It's amazing."

"We did it ourselves."

Angelica smiled as she nodded when he thought of something and Murphy frowned.

"I have two tattoos of a demon on my back near my right shoulder. Are they alright?" he asked.

"Yes, they're fine," she said.

"Good. I thought th'bullet might've gone through my shoulder and wrecked th'top one," he said while she looked at the Celtic cross on his right forearm and his skin tingled while her fingers moved over the tattoo.

"Just how many tattoos do you have?"

"Too many," came from Connor's bed and Murphy turned his head to look at him. Angelica walked to the bed as Connor looked up at her and she smiled. Connor watched her examine him then she wrote the information in Connor's medical file and he made a small sigh. "I feel like I'm floating."

"That's the pain medication."

"Are you gonna examine me now?" came from Romeo's bed and Angelica walked over to him. He watched her examine him then she wrote the information in his medical file and she saw the worry in his eyes.

"Turns out they didn't mess up any of your surgeries. You're going to make a full recovery," she said and he blinked the tears out of his eyes.

"Is he cryin'?" Murphy asked while he tried to see what was going on and Connor winced after he snorted a laugh.

"Aye, he is," Connor said.

"Leave him alone," Angelica warned and they nodded their head.

Murphy looked at the ceiling when his stomach growled and he lightly moved his left hand over his stomach.

"You alright, Murph?" Connor asked while he watched his brother moving his hand.

"I'm jus' hungry," Murphy said.

"I'm hungry, too."

"Can we get anythin' t'eat?" Murphy asked, looking at her.

"Yes, but nothing too heavy," Angelica said.

"Me, too?" Romeo asked.

"You haven't had anything solid in your stomach for a month. So, you're going to have to eat soup or soft food," she said and he nodded.

They watched her leave the room while Romeo looked at the ceiling and Connor yawned. Murphy lightly moved his fingers over his stomach when Sibeal walked in the room and he held Connor and Murphy's rosaries in his hands.

"Greetings," Sibeal said as he stood near the foot of Connor and Murphy's beds.

"Greetings," Connor said and Murphy nodded.

"I believe these are yers," Sibeal said as he held up the rosaries. "Th'doctor removed them before takin' you into surgery."

He helped them place the rosaries around their necks as Connor softly smiled and Murphy sighed.

"Were you able t'get conformation about Da's remains?" Connor asked.

"Aye. The remains were his."

"Where are the remains now?" Murphy asked.

"They're here."

"I thought you would have taken his remains home fer burial," Connor said.

"Where do you think we're headin'?"

Connor and Murphy looked at each other then they looked at their uncle and they nodded.

"Do you think we'll be able t'go t'the burial?" Connor asked.

"I don't know."

"We have t'go an' pay our respects," Murphy said.

"He's right," Connor said.

"I'll see what I can do," Sibeal said with a nod then he turned and he headed for the door. He turned back to look at the twins when he sighed then he left the room. He headed down the hallway when he went up the stairs then he walked to the railing. He leaned his forearms against the railing as he looked out at the water and the cool, salty breeze moved through him. He cleared his mind as he closed his eyes and he silently started praying.

A short time later, Angelica pushed the serving cart down the hallway while she headed for the elevator when she saw the two young women who helped free the Saints and Romeo from the prison walking toward her.

"Where are you going with that?" Angelina Kane asked.

"Just bringing our guests something to eat," Angelica said.

"Isn't one of them still in a coma?" Angelique Lee asked.

"He woke up."

"Is he going to be alright?" Angelina asked.

"Yes, he's going to be fine."

"Good."

Angelica noticed the look in Angelina's eyes as Angelina softly smiled and Angelica frowned.

"What?!" Angelina asked.

"Nothing."

"Hey, can I help it if I think he's cute?"

"You're right. He is kind of cute, but the one with the light brown hair is cuter," Angelique said while Connor face appeared in her head.

"Then why did you punch him?"

"I had to stop him."

"Yeah, but you hit him right in his stitches."

"He pissed me off," she said then she looked at Angelica. "What about you? Do you think the one with the dark hair's cute?"

"He looks like he stepped out of a fashion magazine," Angelica thought.

"He's alright," Angelica said as Angelique and Angelina looked at each other then they looked at her.

"Alright?! Isn't he and the one with the light brown hair supposed to be twins?!" Angelica asked.

"They're fraternal twins."

"So?!" Angelique asked.

"Look. It doesn't matter if I think he looks like he's stepped off the cover of a GQ magazine. We can't get attached to them."

They watched her walk down the hallway while she pushed the serving cart then Angelina smiled and shook her head.

"A GQ magazine? Oh, she's hooked," Angelina said.

"Yeah. But she is right. We can't get attached to any of them," Angelique said. Sighing, Angelina nodded and they headed down the hallway.

The infirmary

"Why did I say that?!" Angelica thought while she stood in the elevator car and she watched the numbers moving. She strummed her fingers on the handle of the serving cart while Murphy's face appeared in her head and his soft blue eyes locked with hers. He gave her a slightly crooked smile as she felt a warm tingle move over her and he gave her wink. She shook her head when the elevator doors opened and she headed out into the hallway. She pushed the serving cart down the hallway when she pushed the buttons on the security panel and the doors to the infirmary opened.

"Hey," Romeo said with a grin while she walked in the room.

"Hello," she said while she moved the serving cart toward Romeo's bed. She pushed the button to move the head of the bed up until he told her to stop then she moved the small table to the bed, slid the tray onto the small table then she moved the small table toward Romeo. He looked at the glass of ice tea, a bowl of clear broth with chopped vegetables, a spoon, a napkin and he reached for the spoon. He scooped up some soup, placed the spoon in his mouth, moved the spoon back, swallowed then he leaned back against the pillow. "Are you alright?"

"Yeah," he said with a nod then he took a drink of ice tea.

She moved the cart to Connor's bed when she pushed the button to move the head of the bed up, placed the tray on the small table and she moved the small table to Connor. He looked at the glass of ice tea, a plate with a grilled chicken and cheese sandwich on it, a small bowl with lettuce and sliced tomatoes, a napkin and a fork and he nodded. She pushed the cart to Murphy's bed and she saw he was frowning.

"What's wrong?" Angelica asked, pushing the button to move the head of the bed up.

"I'm hungry," Murphy grumbled. She removed the intravenous tubing from his left forearm as he rubbed the small bruise from where the tubing rested against his skin and she placed the plastic tray on the small table, pushing the small table toward him. He looked at the bowl of clear broth and chopped vegetables, plate with a grilled chicken and cheese sandwich on it, a bowl with lettuce and sliced tomatoes, the plate with two chocolate chip cookies on it, a fork, a spoon, a napkin and the glass of ice tea and he picked up the spoon.

She watched him scoop some of the soup onto the spoon then he placed the spoon into his mouth, removed the spoon and he swallowed. He placed the spoon down as he leaned back against the pillow and she sat on the chair next to the bed. He twirled the spoon around his fingers while she waited for him to say something and Connor felt his brother shutting down.

"Murph, are you ok?" Connor asked.

"I was jus' thinkin'," Murphy said.

"Are you thinkin' about Da?"

Murphy nodded while he placed the spoon on the tray and Angelica noticed the sadness in his eyes. She reached over to touch the fingers of his left hand and he glanced over at her.

"Is Norman your father?" she asked. He looked down at his chest then he shook his head and she lightly rubbed his fingers.

"His name was Noah," Connor said.

"Was?"

"He died while we were fightin' th'Roman."

"I was told about you fighting the Roman, but why did you bring your father along?"

"It was his idea," Murphy said as he took a bite of the grilled chicken and cheese sandwich then he started chewing.

"Your father knew the Roman?"

"He used t'be Da's best friend," Connor explained. He told her about Noah and the Roman and her eyes slightly widened.

"Hold on. Your father was Il Duce?"

"Aye," Murphy said after he swallowed and he took a drink of ice tea. "Shit. I wish this was whisky."

"You're on pain killers," she teased and his lower lip stuck out as he pouted.

"Damn. Does he know how cute he looks when he does that?" she thought.

"Uh, guys, I've been wondering something," Romeo said and they looked at him. "How exactly did those FBI guys know where we were?"

"They must have been keepin' a close eye on th'Roman," Connor said.

"Yeah. I get that. But how did they find out we were going with your dad to take him down?"

"He does have a point," Murphy said as he pointed the spoon at Connor. "How did those fuckers know we were gonna be there? I don't think Da told them."

"You're right. He wouldn't do that," Connor said.

"And we didn't tell them."

"I aint no snitch," Romeo said.

"We know you're not."

"Do you think Dolly an' Duffy said anythin'?" Connor asked then he told Angelica about Detectives Dolly, Greenly and Duffy. "They might've wanted t'get even with us because of what happened t'Greenly."

"Nah. Those eejits know how t'keep a secret."

"So, if we didn't tell them. If Romeo didn't tell them. If Da didn't. An' those eejits didn't say anythin'… Then th'only one who knew we were gonna after th'Roman was…"

"Me," came from the doorway as they looked at Eunice standing in the doorway and she walked in the room
