Anyway, I think I've bored you enough with the intro card, please enjoy chapter 2!

It had been several hours since Ally took Austin that she was pregnant. The news had hit him pretty hard. Not because he didn't love Ally or his kids, quite the opposite. It was just that with what happened four years ago, he and Ally had promised to each other that they wouldn't have any more kids, it was just too risky.

Right now, the pair were in bed, trying to cope with their new situation.

'' So, you're really pregnant?'' Austin asked.

'' Yep, there's a fetus inside me. I've been to Dr. Vanucci as well as taken five tests, just to be sure.''

'' Wow, I'm going to be a dad again'' Austin breathed, the happiness in his voice extremely obvious.

'' Really? So, to the two kids that live down the hall from us you're what exactly? Did you somehow stop being their daddy at some point?'' Ally smirked, turning to her husband.

'' Fair enough. Sorry, I'm a bit all over the place. Its just weird is all, I mean, weren't you on birth control?''

'' I was. I just missed my last cycle when were on vacation, I guess I just…forgot.''

'' You're kidding me.''

'' Yes Austin, I'm joking, I've bought fake pregnancy tests purely so we can get on America's Funniest Home Videos.''

'' Nice sarcasm Goose pickle'' Austin smiled, looking at his wife.

'' Thanks. But we seem to have forgotten something.''

'' That free vacations and booze lead to more kids, yeah, I know.''

'' No'' Ally lightly thwacked him with her pillow. '' Alex and Ava. I don't know how they're going to handle having a new baby brother or sister to play with.''

'' Come on. It'll be great. The three of them in the yard, us watching them, it'll be great. Wait, there's only one in there right?'' Austin asked.

'' Yep. Dr. Vanucci made sure to take as close a look as possible. There's only sign of one kid, not two or more.''

'' Phew, thank Gd.''

'' Yeah. But seriously how're they going to handle this. I mean Ava isn't exactly good at sharing, remember last week at Pre-school?''

'' She karate chopped that kid when he came near her blocks. I've never been prouder and more upset at the same time.''

'' Ignoring that, Alex isn't exactly the best when it comes to change. Remember when he found out that we were getting new couches?''

'' He practically lived on that old one. I swear, he gets his stubbornness from his mommy.''

'' Hey! Well, our daughter gets her recklessness from you.''

'' Hey-fair enough'' Austin laughed.

'' So, when're we telling them, I mean their 4, they have the attention, they have the attention span of crickets and this isn't exactly something easy to talk about-

'' Ally, relax. Look, your mom and dad are coming over tomorrow for lunch anyway, right?''

'' Yes? So?''

'' So, we tell our kids tomorrow with them there. Kill two stones with one bird.''

Ally giggled. '' Its two birds with one stone.''

'' I know. I just wanted to see you smile.''

Ally beamed. '' Care to make this interesting?''

'' How so?'' Austin asked, his interest peaked.

'' Is say they'll hate the news. If I win, then you have to take me shopping, not just for maternity wear but for everything'' Ally winked.

'' No. No no no, please, last time people thought I was a whipped husband.''

'' You are.''

'' Alright then. I say they'll love the news, if I win, then you have to give me romantic night, if you know what I mean'' Austin smirked.

'' Oh, course I do. Now, get some sleep, we have people coming over tomorrow'' Ally ordered, before turning off the lamp on her nightstand and going to sleep.

'' I really am whipped '' Austin muttered before dozing off.

The next morning was rather tense. Austin was busy trying to wake up his kids and Ally, trying to get breakfast ready before it became lunch.

'' I don't wanna get up'' came a familiar wail from upstairs.

''I know you don't buddy, but if you do then we can play video games afterwards'' Austin said, his child in his arms as he came downstairs.

'' I can't believe how easy it is for you to just get him to do what you say. Even I have to, occasionally bribe our daughter with candy and/or money'' Ally remarked. Alex himself had just sat down in front of the TV with his older twin.

'' He just gets me, and I him, like you always tell me, Alex is basically a mini me. It also helps that he's a huge sweetheart'' Austin shrugged.

'' That he is. Although our daughter isn't exactly Queen Ranavalona 1st either.''

'' Who?''

'' Famous queen. Anyway, I think its time we tell them.''

'' You, sure. You know how neither of our kids can pay attention before 9AM'' Austin commented.

'' Oh please. Alex, Ava come, here guys'' Ally called, her children later appearing in the kitchen.

'' Yeah mommy?'' Ava asked.

'' Well guys, we have some news.-

'' Are we going on çation?'' Alex interrupted.

'' I wanna go back to 'Stralia, there're so many animals there'' Ava squealed.

'' No. We aren't going on vacation but something really cool is happening though'' Ally smiled.

'' What?'' Alex asked.

'' Well, mommy's pregnant!'' Austin said in an ecstatic voice.

The two small children cocked their heads in confusion. '' What's pregnant?'' Alex asked.

'' It means there's a baby inside me Sunshine.''

What happened next was quite odd.

'' Woohoo, I'm gonna be a big sister!'' Ava cheered. Her brother however stayed silent.

'' Alex, you haven't said anything bud, what's going on?'' Austin asked.

'' I don't wanna be a big brother.''

'' But you'll be so good at it'' Ally countered.

'' No, I don't want it!'' Alex shouted, running up to his room and slamming the door.

Both his parents and sister were shocked. '' Well, that's a new one '' Ally marveled.

For the next 3 hours, Alex was aloof, he hadn't apologized for his behavior nor was he interacting with anyone unless he had to.

'' Wow, I thought he wasn't supposed to be moody for the next 9 years '' Austin joked.

'' Seriously Austin? Our own child says he doesn't want to have another kid around. I'm worried about what'll happen later when they meet their new sibling. It'll be awful.''

'' Ally, you're overreacting. Look, neither of them had eaten yet so it was probably a fluke anyway'' Austin laughed as he fired up his new grill.

'' I guess, but I really don't like the thought of either of our children having a problem with getting a brother or sister.''

'' I get that but look, eventually Alex will come round to the idea. And if he doesn't, I'll pay that wrestler Face-Puncher to yell at him.''

'' Austin!''

'' Kidding. Look, lets just get ready for your mom and dad, the kids are dressed and I need to inaugurate this grill'' Austin said, stroking it.

Backing away slowly, Ally went inside to make sure that everything looked ready. She hated mess.

'' Alex, come here '' Ally said, grabbing her child, who was currently on the couch watching Nick Jnr with his sister.

'' Mommy, get off'' Alex squealed, as Ally ambushed his hair, trying to straighten it.

Ava however just laughed hysterically, until Ally attacked her tangled locks.

Just then, the doorbell rang.

'' Austin, could you get that?!" Ally called.

'' On it!'' Austin called back, running through his home to the front door.

'' There he is my favorite son-in-law!'' Lester said, hugging Austin tightly, and subsequently entering the home.

'' Grampa!'' the twins squealed.

'' Hey kids'' Lester cried, embracing his grandchildren, whilst his ex-wife emerged from behind him.

'' Hi mom'' Ally greeted.

'' All! Look at you, you look amazing. I've also heard the copy of your latest song, its so nice.''

'' Aww, thanks. Come on out back, we've already gotten everything ready'' Ally beamed, her mother following her whilst her father and husband followed after.

Once outside, the group sat at the large wooden table Austin and Ally had bought a year ago. Ava and Alex however were busy chasing each other around the garden.

'' So, Mom, how's living in Miami again?'' ally asked.

'' Its fine. Its no Africa but I do miss the smell of the city.''

'' I get that. My couponing group would never move overseas'' Lester added.

'' That's because you'd never pay for the plane-fare Lester'' Penny remarked. This was met a chorus of laughter.

'' So, you two, anything new happening? I hear Austin's going to Brazil in a few months'' Lester asked.

'' Well. Actually Lester I'm not going alone.''

'' You aren't who's going with you?'' Ally asked.

'' You, Alex, Ava and our new kid-

'' Austin!"' Ally gasped.

'' Oh, right, subtlety, dammit'' Austin cursed.

'' You're pregnant again?'' Penny asked.

'' Yeah, I am. We were going to tell you over lunch, but someone spoke too soon'' Ally glared.

'' I can't believe it '' Lester said.

'' I know dad, after the twins it wasn't expected but it just-

'' I'm going to be rich!'' Lester shrieked.

'' What? How?'' Austin asked.

'' Well, when Alex and Ava were born Ally forbade me from putting them in commercials until she had another kid. And now that you're pregnant…''

'' Seriously?'' Penny wacked Lester upside the head. '' Our daughter is pregnant and you want to capitalize on it?''

'' Sorry'' Lester breathed. '' Of course, I'm happy for you two. A new grandkid. A little sister or brother for the twins to play with and/or bully. It'll be great.''

'' Will it? I mean Ava's all for being a big sister but Alex won't even entertain the thought of it. He even said he doesn't want it.''

'' Makes sense'' Lester shrugged, sipping the beer Austin and just given him.

'' Excuse me?'' Austin raised his eyebrow.

'' Let me explain. With gorillas-

'' The non-wildlife version please '' Lester interjected.

'' Fine. With…people, they don't like change. A new addition to your family is naturally going to upset one of or both of your kids'' Penny explained.

'' Austin says it was just a fluke since neither of our kids had eaten when we told them this morning'' Ally added.

'' Let's see about that'' Penny winked. '' Ava, Alex, come here please!''

The twins obeyed and appeared before their grandmother.

'' Sweeties. Mommy told me that she's having another baby. Is that right?''

Both nodded.

'' I see. So Avy, how do you feel about it?''

'' Imma be a big sister!'' the little girl shrieked.

'' Ok, Alex, how about you sweetheart?''

'' I don't want it'' he pouted.

'' Ok. I see, alright guys go play, we'll call you later for lunch.''

'' Still think it's a fluke?'' Penny smirked.

'' Ok fine it wasn't. But what can we do? We don't want anarchy around the place'' Austin panicked.

'' Easy, you speak to friends of yours who've dealt with this before'' Lester shrugged.

'' But we don't have any friends in Miami…'' Austin looked at Ally, both of them grinning and nodding in acknowledgement.
