Artemis was on one of her own solo hunts, exploring the wilderness of America trying to track down any good game or monsters if possible. She enjoyed these solo hunts as they allowed her to unwind away from her hunters and reflect on herself. Artemis had thought about bringing her lieutenant Zoe along with her but she couldn't bear to leave the hunt without proper leadership, she also couldn't be seen to prioritise Zoe over other hunts with a 1on1 hunt.

On day 3 of her solo hunting, Artemis found herself in the Cherokee National Forest, and as she started wandering around the forest she felt something drawing her in, almost enticing her to come towards it. As the huntress delved deeper into the forest she put herself in a state of readiness just to prepare for any potential attacks. As she stalked forward she found herself in a small clearing, seemingly humming with divine energy, and at the top of the clearing was a figure suspended above the ground and chained up.

Artemis slowly started to approach the figure as it because clearer it was a male, with messy black hair obscuring his face.

"Speak male, who are you, why are you chained up in this forest" Artemis snapped at the figure, who looked up at the goddess in question revealing a mesmerising set of green eyes almost swirling with untold power. The man began to speak, his voice croaking and dry as if it had rarely been used

"Lady Artemis, it is an honour to meet you, welcome to my humble abode" the man joked. Artemis narrowed her eyes at the man and snapped back quickly

"Stop avoiding my question you impetuous male, what is your name why are you here " the man merely grimaced,

"My name is Perseus, as for why I am here I do not know being chained like this is all I can remember anymore, nothing more nothing less," the man said simply, leaving no question in his voice as his eyes drilled into Artemis'. She seemed to think about this for a brief second before continuing her questioning.

"What are your domains, I can sense the energy of yourself I can tell you are but a minor god" as she studied the newly named Perseus who simply nodded in response

" Correct Lady Artemis, I am merely the minor god of dusk " he replied dejectedly, the goddess of hunt studies his face to search for any signs of deceit, she had never heard of this Perseus and racked her brain for any god of dusk and came up short. She quickly formulated a plan she was sure would bring up her reputation within Olympus.

"Okay, boy I'm going to bring you be-forth the council so we can decide what to do with you. If an Olympian put you here I'm sure we can find a more inventive punishment " Artemis grinned evilly as she looked from a response from the chained god to see if that incited any reaction or nervousness, yet she just saw acceptance. She proceeded to cut down the chains which held the god suspended above the ground, she struck the last chain the divine energy which encompassed the area dissipated. Which went unnoticed by the hunter. She quickly approached the god summoning binds herself.

Perseus held out his hands and allowed the goddess to restrain him, before sitting under the goddess patiently waiting for her next actions. Artemis grabbed the shoulder of her new prisoner and flashed away.

Both of the gods landed in the throne room of Olympus, Artemis deposited Perseus into the middle of the room before striding over to her throne and summoned her fellow Olympians for an emergency meeting. One by one all of the gods came into the throne room some of them taking a second look at the prisoner in the middle of the room before they took their throne. The last god to enter was the king of the gods himself, dramatically coming into the room with a shower of sparks flying everywhere before taking a seat

"Artemis why have you summoned us here today, and who is this god you have in front of us today" Zeus enquired to his daughter before studying Perseus.

Artemis stood up from her throne and addressed the council, " I was performing a solo hunt around the Cherokee Forest, before sensing diving energy, upon further investigation I found this god chained up. I have brought him here today so the council can decide his fate and ensure that no rouge gods are wandering our territories " as she explained all the gods took varying levels of interest from Hermes and Dionysus paying 0 attention, the sons and daughters of Kronos also paying little attention. Athena was the only god which devoted her attention to her sister, being the first to interject

"Artemis who is this god, I have no recollection of any rouge gods unaccounted for and none that we have sent to punishment," The goddess of wisdom asked her sister, who nodded and replied

"My thoughts exactly, his name is Perseus and he claims to the title of Minor god of dusk" the moment Artemis said this several things occurred, it was as if a fire had been lit under several gods who immediately sat up to attention which did not go unnoticed by Artemis, Demeter who had been eating a bowl of cereal at the time choked on her food. Most of the other gods were oblivious to the reactions of other Olympians including Athena

" I don't think there's is a god of dusk, the only deity I know of dusk is the titan Astraeus" she stated thinking out, as she did this. Said Perseus started to stand up, snapping the chains that had bound him before taking a godly height before standing before the Olympians with a smile on his face

" I guess I'll take this as my time to leave, I apologise to those who don't know me. But it has been great seeing you brother " directing the last part to Zeus, who immediately summoned his master bolt, and directly a bolt towards the god. The bolt hit Perseus with an ungodly boom, dust and smoke filled the air obscuring the view for all of the gods. The next few seconds were filled with a tense silence as they waited to see what would happen next, as the dust settled the figure of Perseus stood tall and proud. Before breaking the silence which was thick in the throne room" It's okay little brother, we all know you struggle to perform here and now" he smirked, as the dust settled fully it was clear to see that he was completely unscathed. " Brothers, Sisters I have missed you all oh so dearly but I'll leave you to explain who I am. Don't miss any good titles " he said to the throne room before winking at Artemis as he disappeared from the throne room. The goddess looked over at her father whose face was almost glowing with rage, he quickly threw a bolt up at the throne room floor summoning Hades and Hestia to the throne room, both looking confused as to why they had been asked to attend. Before either of them could ask as to why they had been summoned, Apollo quickly cracked a joke to Hermes quietly about what Perseus had said. Zeus immediately struck Apollo with an equally powerful bolt, causing him to collapse to the floor.

"Do not speak any further before I banish you from Olympus forever son" Zeus fiercely shouted at his son,

"Zeus as love as Id love to just watch you blast your son with a lightning bolt, I'm sure you summoned me here for more important reasons " Hades drawled to his brother looking unimpressed at the show he had just seen. Zeus looked towards his older brother before moving back towards his throne, gesturing for the two guests to sit. Hestia snapped her fingers summoning two thrones behind herself and Hades, facing the rest of the Olympians. Both of the newly summoned gods took a seat.

" The reason as to why I have summoned you both today is to inform you both that Perseus has been released from his confinement. " The king of gods said gravely looking towards his elder siblings, the reaction was instant as both of the gods looked towards their king in disbelief.

" How did he get released, " Hestia asked softly, as Zeus glared at Artemis not looking away from her

"Unfortunately, Artemis released him from his imprisonment as brought him before us, as he told her he was a minor god of dusk. As we all know that is far from the case" he explained before turning back towards the goddess. The explanation sated Hestia's curiosity as she sat back seemingly deep in thought at the thought of the newly revealed sibling being freed. Athena who had been watching the whole situation unfold asked the room quietly " Who was he really?"

All of the brothers and sisters of Rhea and Kronos looked at each other grimly before Poseidon of all people spoke up and responded to his rival " He is Perseus, God of Hatred, Earth, Combat, Dusk and Perseverance. And he is the oldest child of our mother and father." The throne room fell into silence as they all digested the god that had just been released into the wild
