10 chapters...

Woah...I can't believe I actually did it. For weeks, I've been constantly arguing with myself on whether or not I should do it, but then, I was like: "You know what? Fuck it, let's do it"

Anyway...

Ladies and Gents, welcome-

To the end of Volume 1.

This is rather pretentious as this will never get published, but even so, I wanted to add the concept of volumes instead of just constant chapters. This is a me thing.

This...was well...my first time writing. Literally, this was my first time writing a story, with actual chapters.

In the past...I did try to write, I tried writing an original story, it took place in Japan, in high school, it was a romance drama, but, I never continued. That draft only lasted like 100 words. I made a monologue just like in Oregairu and I immediately regretted it. It was absolute cringe and shit.

But anyway...

What do you think?

Was my writing bad?

Was it shit?

Was it incomprehensible?

I understand that my writing is somewhat different, nonetheless, I think I like it that way. But, I'm still new to this, so maybe it might change.(It did)

How was my story, actually?

Was it clichè?

Was it boring?

Was it shit?

As a writer, and as a person, I'm quite open to criticism. I criticize all the time, and it would only be fair that I get the same treatment. (The Dickhead critic)

Fair is good.

And also, I wanna talk about this. To future commenters who want to talk shit about my work, do better at it. Calling it names isn't helping since I do it as well.

If you wanna be a dickhead critic(like me) and devastate someone, you gotta be pinpoint with your accuracy to get that nice headshot. You gotta expose the problem, and poke the living shit out of that hole.(Though, I'm not enticing you to be mean. I'm just saying, if you wanna fuck with me, do it right.) Or else, kinda like how some guest said my work was "Absolute trash, cringe, and cliche. Did I mention trash?"...it really didn't work.(Jaeger...I don't know if it's you, but, don't copy the troll, let's be decent men.)

Now, I don't know about you, gentlemen, but to me, when he said that, I felt like Heath Ledger's Joker asking for Batman to hit me. And instead of hitting me and breaking my limbs, Mr. "Absolute" here made himself look like a total clown. I was supposed to be the clown! Not him!

Everybody hates a critic, but at least they're objective commenters(mostly) and just because what they say isn't nice, does not mean they intended to be dickheads(somewhat). After all, the truth is best served cold and indifferent.(I meant true and absolute.)

Again, fair is good.

Also, on a scale of 1-10, how close or accurate was my work compared to the actual series?

Was it inconsistent?

I try to be faithful to the source material, while still keeping my style.(It's gonna get VERY Kiryu)

Finally, on a scale of 1-10, how was my story, overall?

The writing?

The story?

The consistency?

My wordplay?

Character development?

How was it all?

I understand that I have many problems in each category, but, what do you think?

I really wanna know where I'm currently at, that way I have a starting point, and an end goal. Kiryu has a dream.

For me, I give it a 4/10. I ain't shitting, that's not self-deprecation or low self esteem. That's my definitive evaluation. The reason it's not a 3 is because it at least doesn't have misspellings or shitty grammar. And the reason it survived from becoming a 2 is because, well, for lack of a better word, the story, so far, was decent. It had some entertainment value...right?

Anyway, that's what I think of my own work.

Now...know this, my series is still not finished, and I still have more to write.

Unfortunately, there will be no new Chapter this week.

I've decided on a one week break.

A new Chapter will be released around September 14, so don't worry. I did this because I thought I needed a break.

Life is a bitch.

When it comes to writing, I try to be at least 3 Chapters ahead so that I wouldn't be inconsistent with my releases.(That did NOT age well) And actually, when I finish a Chapter, I start the next one almost immediately

That's why I needed this break.

I also haven't watched much Anime this year as well, I've only seen like...6?

6 series more than 8 months in?

Fuck.

When it came to the Manga, I've only finished like...5?

So that's why, I'm gonna spend some time for some of that shit.

Don't worry, as soon as Chapter 11 is released, it will be like Shounen Jump again, a consistent weekly release or something along those lines. I don't want to rush this, and I want my work to be high quality.

I normally read each chapter at least twice, even thrice.

I hate misspellings.

I hate shitty grammar, and to not be like that, I closely inspect my work.

Now, time for a little bit of a Q&A sesh.

Q. How long is this series gonna be?

A. I don't know, we shall see.

A. ...
