Chapter 3 - Haa'fa
"Hi there," the creature greeted. Danny screamed in fear falling off the bed and backing away from the floating creature. "Shush" the creature tried to calm Danny down. "Daniel, " the creature calmingly said to Danny. Danny looked at the creature with surprise on his face. "You know my name?" Danny breathed. The creature nodded "I'm sorry that I scared you" it replied. "We got off to a ruff start" it told him.
Danny sat there and listened to what it was going to say. "Let's start over okay" the creature said. "Hi there I'm Haa'fa the ghost kwami it is nice to meet you". Danny looked at it and smiled "Hi Haa'fa I'm Danny not Daniel ".
Haa'fa sighed in relief "Sorry it's been awhile since I have had a welder in a long time I got carried away with excitement to have a master again". "Master?" replied Danny "I'm your master?" Danny looked confused at Haa'fa. "Yes, you're my master or something," Haa'fa answered.
Danny looked at Haa'fa. He had black and white body, his tail looked like fire but white with three whiskers like peacock feathers. His face looked like an owl with white stripes and fur like sideburns and a pair of eerie neon green eyes. His hair looked like white fire danced on his head.
"Are you going to be my holder?" asked Haa'fa. Danny looked at him and thought about it. "What do I do?" Danny replied. "All you need to do is put on the miraculous" Haa'fa pointed to the bracelet in the box in Danny's hands.
The bracelet itself had a black band and a dark gray jewel on the front. Danny grabbed the bracelet out of the box and put it on his left wrist. "Now what do I do?" Danny asked Haa'fa. "Well I need to tell you about the powers the miraculous gives you when transformed" Haa'fa answered.
"Your greatest power is called the 'Ghostly Wail' which uses a lot of power. When you use that power you have five minutes until you have to transform back to yourself" Haa'fa told Danny. "That power is last resort so don't use it off the bat okay" Danny nodded in agreement. "How you transform into the hero part goes like this 'Haa'fa going ghost' don't say it now I need to finish telling you the rest okay" Danny nodded as Haa'fa explained.
"And the last thing is you don't tell anyone about me or any of this okay no one is supposed to know I exist" Haa'fa told him sternly. Danny looked shocked "but what about my friends they know if I'm lying they will find out my parents on the other hand will be a little easier to hide from" Danny panicky told Haa'fa. "They were there when I was in the portal when it came on, they heard me scream in pain, I can't keep them in the dark about this" Danny told Haa'fa.
Haa'fa looked at Danny and thought for a moment then made up his mind. "Danny!" Haa'fa said. Danny looked at Haa'fa when he started to talk again "I guess they can be an exemption to know but it would be very dangerous for them" Haa'fa finished. Danny looked relieved at what Haa'fa had said "thank you" Danny replied gratefully.
Little did they know that they were going to be the best team. Over one year Danny faced many ghosts with help of his friends and learned how to control Danny's three only powers that he had gained from the accident.
Both Danny and Haa'fa were surprised to find out that a little portion of ectoplasm gave Danny what he calls his ghost sense and the other two help him out from bullying situations from Dash at school.
Danny learned how to control the powers of intangibility and invisibility thanks to Sam and Tucker and on the side Haa'fa who taught him how to use the abilities to get him out of trouble with Dash and other friends of his at school.
Little did they know that they were going to get a visit from Paris own two superheroes Ladybug and Catnoir and the guardian of the miraculous and a certain super villain.
