Marinette arrived with her belongings and permission slip to the school looking around to see other classmates already there. Marinette looked around to see the rest of the class arrive when Mrs. Bustier called roll call and was asking for everyone's permission slips.
"All right everyone might I have your attention please" called Mrs. Bustier. Everyone looked at their teacher and nodded "Do I have everyone's permission slips?" she asked. One of her student's voices piped up "Mrs. Bustier I have mine" Adrien walked up to her and handed her his permission slip. "Thank you Adrien," replied Mrs. Bustier.
"Now that we have all the permission slips myself Mr. Damocles and Ms. Mendeleive have assigned you all families that you will be living with for the next two months" said Mrs. Bustier. The students looked at each other worried. "The first group of students will be living with the Sanchez household and there is no changing the list" said Mrs. Bustier as she looked at the students. "The first group is Chloe, Sabrina and Lila" called Mrs. Bustier.
Chloe looked outraged that Adrien was not going to be in her group. Mrs. Bustier continued "Kim, Max, Nathaniel and Nino you four will be staying in the Baxter Household". "Alya, Juleka and Rose you will be with the Manson family" Mrs. Bustier told the girls. "Alix, Ivan and Mylene you'll be staying with the Foley family and Marinette and Adrien will be staying-" Mrs. Bustier said. "Adrekins is staying with me Mrs. Bustier" called Chloe, cutting her teacher off. Mr. Damocles came forward "No he will not, you Miss Bourgeois already have your group and don't think of calling the Mayor and he was also there when we put you all in groups now as Mrs. Bustier was about to say" he said finishing talking to Chloe.
"Yes" replied Mrs. Bustier "Marinette and Adrien will be staying with the Fenton family". Marinette looked shocked that she was being paired up with her crush. Alya looked at Marinette and smiled and whispered in her friend's ear "This is your chance girl". Mr. Damocles walked to the front of the group "Alright students find you partners and in an orderly fashion get on the bus".
Alya walked away from Marinette to the partners and went on the bus to find seats. "Marinette are you coming?" called Kim. Marinette blinked out of her daydream and looked at Kim and smiled "Coming" she replied. She went on the bus and found seats in the back of the bus and started to put her bags away. Marinette started to struggle with one of the bags when a pair of hands helped her put it away. She turned around to see the person was Adrein Agreste.
"Hi Marinette" said Adrein as he rubbed the back of his neck. "H-hi Adrein" stammered Marinette shyly. The teens sat down when the bus driver started the engine. Marinette looked out the window trying to calm herself down and think of something to say to Adrein. "Hey Marinette, did you know that the family we are staying with are Amity Park's own ghost experts" Adrein told her. She looked away from the window to look at him surprised at the new information. "Realy?" she asked, taking an interest.
"Yep the Fentons are the towns top ghosthunters and that they make their own equipment to fight ghosts that attack the town" he read off his phone learning all he can about the family they would be staying with. "I did not know that" replied Marinette thinking if the equipment might hurt Tikki or Catnoir's kwami. The two were quiet the rest of the way to the airport.
As the class loaded onto the plane Nathalie had watched them from when they left the school to them loading on to the plane. She pulled out a phone and called her boss "They are on the plane now Sir" she answered. "Good job Nathalie meet me at the jet when their plane leaves. "Of course Mr. Agreste" Nathalie replied and hung up her phone.
