The class arrived in New York City after being on the plane for nine and a half hours. They got on a travel bus and fell asleep on the way to Amity Park.
They arrived at their hotel and slept for the rest of the day. Until a loud noise woke them from their sleep. Mrs. Bustier stood in the hallway with an air horn in her hand. "Morning class, it's time to go to Casper High and get to meet the other students and families," Mrs. Bustier told them.
They slowly packed their things, still partly asleep and went on the bus. "Why did Mrs. Bustier wake us up so early?" asked Max. "Because our time zone is off by six hours'' replied Adrien yawning. They arrived at Casper High School and went into the gym to see students their age group sitting on the bleachers. A teacher walked over to Mrs. Bustier and shook her hand.
The teacher turned to them and introduced himself "Hello students I'm Mr. Lancer the Language Arts teacher". "I suppose that we now put you with the families that you have been assigned" Mr. Lancer told them. He turned towards the students on the bleachers "Alright everyone when I call your name please come forward and meet your temporary new family members" Mr. Lancer told his students.
Marinette looked at the students on the bleachers wondering who was a member of the Fenton family she and Adrien will be going with. "Dash Baxter, Samantha Manson, Tucker Foley, Palena Sanchez, and Danny Fenton please come forward" called Mr. Lancer. Five students came off the bleachers to the front next to Mr. Lancer.
"Mr. Baxter, your new members are Lê Chiên Kim, Nino Lahiffe, Nathaniel Kurtzber, and Max Kanté," Lancer told the blonde jock. Kim and his group left with Dash. "Miss Manson, your members are Alya Césaire, Juleka Couffaine, and Rose Lavillant" Mr. Lancer told the girl in black. Alya and her group left with Samantha. "Mr. Fenton, your members are Marinette Dupain-Cheng, and Adrien Agreste" Lancer told the boy with black hair.
Marinette and Adrien left with the boy before Chloé got upset. "So you're my new temporary family members," the boy told them. Marinette nodded "Well let me introduce myself my name is Danny Fenton I don't go by Daniel or Dan" he told them. "My name is Marinette Dupain-Cheng but I go by Marinette and this is Adrian" I introduced myself and Adrian to Danny.
"FENTON!" came a shout from behind a corner. I looked at Danny to see him looking panicked. He ran into an empty class room and closed the door just in time when the blonde jock Dash I think his name was came stomping around the corner looking for Danny. "Have you two seen Fenton?" he asked us. "No we haven't, he left to go get something" Adrien told Dash. I looked at Adrien to see him look surprised.
Dash looked at the two of us and left looking for Danny. "Is Dash gone?" asked a voice from behind us. We turned to see Danny peeking out of the class room looking to see if Dash was still there. "What did you do to make him mad?" Marinette asked. Danny looked at us "I didn't make him mad he just likes to use me as a punching bag or a locker stuffer" he explained. Adrien looked at Danny confused at what he told them. Danny saw the look that was on Adrien's face and explained "Dash and the football team are the school bullies and picks on anyone who is not an A-lister like band kids or geeks around the school".
"So if he's a bully, tell a teacher and have him get detention or-" Marinette told Danny. "I can't do that, because the teachers won't do a thing because they are on the football team" Danny cut Marinette off. Danny looked at the clock on the wall to see the time "Sorry I cut you off Marinette it's just I can't do anything against Dash without getting detention myself" Danny replied "Are you guys hungry?" Danny asked, changing the subject.
They headed to the cafeteria for lunch. Danny showed them the cafeteria and what was for lunch. When they got their lunch they sat down at a table in the far corner of the cafeteria. Adrien looked skeptically at his lunch then looked up at Danny. "Um what is this exactly?" Adrien asked, poking his food with his fork. Danny looked at Adrien with sympathy "You don't want to know" he said softly.
"Danny there you are I've been looking all over for you" exclaimed a girl dressed in black. Marinette looked at the girl in confusion realizing that she was the other student that had some of her classmates. "Hey Sam, where's Tucker?" Danny replied to the girl. Sam looked around the cafeteria and shrugged looking at him. Sam sat next to Danny with her lunch realizing that she had other people with her. Alya, Juleka and Rose sat next to Marinette and Adrien with tired smiles. Tucker showed up a little bit later with Alix, Ivan and Mylene and their lunches.
Danny introduced Sam and Tucker to Marinette and Adrien and the others. Marinette introduced her friends to the trio. Dash showed up with Kim, Max, Nathaniel and Nino with an annoyed look at the people who were going to stay with him. Dash sat with the A-listers and knowest that Kim, Max, Nathaniel and Nino went over to Fenton's table with the techno geek and the goth freak and the other students from the French school.
Marinette knowest that only Chloé's group sat with the A-listers. Everyone of Marinette's friends were conversing with the trio and laughing at some small jokes until Alya asked the trio about the ghosts that appear in town. Danny nearly choked on his drink. Tucker paled in fear. Sam narrowed her eyes in suspicion, patting Danny's back to help him breathe. "Where did you hear that from?" asked Sam. Alya held up her hands in surrender, luckily Adrien saved her "We looked up Amity Park and that was the first thing that came up" he explained quickly to the trio.
Danny finally got his breath back from coughing. He looked up at Adrien and asked "What did you find?". Adrien pulled out his phone and pulled up the website he found about Amity Park and showed it to the trio. Danny groaned and let his head hit the table in frustration surprising the students from Paris. "Are you okay bro?" asked Kim in confusion. Danny looked up at Kim in surprise at the question. "You mean you don't know?" Sam looked at the group in surprise.
"Hey guys, why are you hanging out with Fenton?" a voice called from behind the group. They all turned around to see Dash and the other football jocks staring at them. Dash walked over to them "Well are you going to answer the question?" he asked. Kim looked at Dash then to Danny in confusion. Danny answered Dash "They are sitting with their friends who happened to be sitting with me Dash". Dash looked angry at Danny "So you guys want to sit with the freaks fine I'll see you guys later in class" Dash said to the group walking a way to leave the cafeteria with the A-listers stopping by the doors he turned around and yelled "I'll see you later Fentoad" then leaving through the doors.
Marinette looked horrified at what had just happened as well as several of her friends. Alix turned back around to the trio with an angry look. "Why does he treat you guys like this, that was seriously not cool?" asked Alix. The trio looked at her with frustrated expressions clear on their faces. "Dash is the star quarterback for the football team and leader of the A-listers," explained Tucker to the group. "He is also on the basketball team and the biggest bully in Casper High" continued Sam picking up where Tucker left off. "We're just the biggest losers in the school to them" said Danny picking at his food on his plate.
Danny gasped as a small wisp of cold air exited his mouth which he quickly hid with his hand. Sam and Tucker quickly looked at Danny with sympathy as he quickly excused himself from the table and ran to the bathroom. Alya looked at Marinette confused at the sudden action from Danny. CRASH! The loud sound came from outside of the school startling all of the students. All the students got up and ran out of the lunch room to get outside to see what was going on. Marinette quickly ran to the girls bathroom and into a stall. Tikki came out of Marinette's bag to hover in front of her.
"Do you think that there's trouble?" asked Marinette. Tikki thought about it "well we can go see what the commotion was as long as we were not seen" she said softly. "Alright Tikki spots on" Marinette exclaimed, transforming into the one and only Ladybug.
Ladybug quickly left the bathroom and ran outside quickly giving her yo-yo a throw to the nearest rooftop. Where she was greeted by the one and only black cat, Cat Noir. "Hello my lady I was expecting to see you here" he greeted in his cute goofy way though she wouldn't say that out loud to him. "Hey kitty what's going on out here?" Ladybug asked politely. Cat Noir looked at the scene in front of them with wide eyes "I think you need to see for yourself because I'm not sure what I'm seeing" he replied.
Ladybug looked at the scene in shock. She could see two ghosts fighting outside the school. One ghost looked like a robot with a green flaming mohawk and some scary looking weapons. The other ghost held her attention a bit longer after it stopped moving so fast. The ghost was the ghost from the picture she found when she was at Master Fu's apartment. The Ghost hero Phantom looked a lot better in real life than his picture. Phantom had short hair on the back of his head but semi long bangs on the top of his head but the shocking thing was that his hair was white. Pure white as fresh as snow on the mountain peaks after a snow storm. His costume was pitch black for the shirt and pants. The gloves, belt, and boots were white as his hair. Ladybug couldn't see his face but she wondered how he was flying in midair without anything holding him.
Ladybug looked at Cat Noir with surprise in her eyes. They both watched the ghosts fight for a while listening to their banter. Phantom was the one who bantered more than his opponent "You've gotta try harder than this Skulker ''. "The robot ghost has a name and it's Skulker?" Thought Cat Noir with amusement. Skulker was blasted down into the ground by Phantom leaving a small crater from the impact. "You won't win today welp and I will have your pelt hanging on my wall" shouted Skulker rising from the crater dusting himself off looking at Phantom the entire time. Ladybug looked at Cat Noir with disgust at what Skulker had said. "I've told you once I've told you a thousand times you are the Ghost Zones worst hunter and that is disgusting Skulker '' Phantom said in annoyance shooting Skulker in the head with a bright green beam knocking the head off the body to the ground. Ladybug almost made a horrified noise at the scene. Cat Noir looked ready to jump in and tackle Phantom but stopped himself.
Phantom walked over to Skulker's head picking it up and pulled out a small live green blob. "Curse you welp one day I will get you" screamed the blob dangling from Phantom's hand. "Not today Skulker" Phantom said, pulling out a thermos. Phantom uncapped the thermos and pressed a button and sucked the ghost inside. He pointed the thermos at the empty armor and sucked that up to capping the thermos and flu off disappearing faster than ladybug could blink.
Ladybug looked at Cat Noir with amusement at what they had witnessed. "Seeing that the fight is over we should get going" Ladybug announced to Cat Noir who nodded, got up from his hiding spot and bowed to Ladybug and left. Ladybug made her way back to the bathroom and transformed back "Tikki spots off". Tikki landed in Marinette's hand while she looked for a cookie to feed her Kwami. "What do you think Tikki should we be careful about Phantom?" asked Marinette, holding her kwami up to her face. Tikki looked thoughtful as she pondered her holder's question "He didn't look evil to me Marinette but he definitely has the Ghost Miraculous we will need to be careful with transforming here on out" Tikki answered while munching on the cookie. Marinette nodded in agreement then looked confused "What do you mean by being careful about our transformations?" Marinette asked. Tikki floated at eye level and explained "The kwami of the Ghost Miraculous can sense other transformations of other holders of the Miraculous. Which makes them unpredictable. That's one of the reasons why that particular Miraculous was sealed inside of its box so long ago Marinette it was too dangerous to have that Miraculous active around other holders". Marinette understood getting up and walking to the bathroom door as Tikki went back into the purse unnoticed.
Marinette went down the hall looking for her friends accidentally walking into Palena who had her head in the clouds thinking about the ghost boy. "I'm so sorry I wasn't watching where I was going I'm such a klutz" Marinette apologized quickly. Palena looked at Marinette for a moment "Aren't you one of the French students?" she asked. Marinette nodded nervously wondering if she had seen Tikki or her sneaking in as Ladybug back to the bathroom. Palena looked even more closely "Your one of the students who's going to live with the Fenton family right, I wish you good luck Mr. Fenton and Mrs. Fenton tends to be on the weird and crazy side. Try to avoid getting shot with their crazy inventions. Last time they were here I got green goo in my hair. It took me a week to get out bye" she told Marinette waving as she left leaving her in worry and panic.
"Marinette there you are, Alya was wondering where you were" Marinette turned around to see Nino running up along with Rose and Juleka. "I was in the bathroom, sorry what did Alya need me for?" Marinette asked them as they walked to the front of the School to see if anyone was there. "Well you know Alya is always looking for Ladybug to post on the Ladyblog whenever there is trouble" said Nino. Marinette nodded, aware of her best friend's tendencies to get herself in danger. "Well I did get a scoop though not Ladybug I got Amity Park's the one and only Danny Phantom fighting what look like to be one of his enemies that are constantly terrorizing the town" said Alya waiting for them at the front doors holding her phone showing a picture of the ghostly teen in combat.
"You what?!" cried out Sam in alarm shocked at Alya's confession of getting in danger. Marinette looked at Sam with worry that she might strangle Alya. "What is the problem? I do this all the time during Akuma attacks at home with Ladybug and Cat Noir" Alya admitted with pride. Nino and the others nodded to confirm what Alya said. Tucker looked back and forth between Sam and Alya hoping that he didn't get caught in the middle. "Could I see what you took Alya?" asked Tucker with interest. She looked at him and handed her phone over to the techno geek.
Tucker looked at the footage that she caught and he was surprised by the great camera angle and lighting. He was surprised at how good it was seeing Danny pulling off so many acrobatic moves on Skulker. Tucker finished looking over the phone and handed it back to Alya with an imprest look of her handiwork. "Well" exclaimed Sam looking at the techno geek for his input. Tucker contemplated what to say to his friend to calm her "What are you going to do with that footage?" he asked Alya. Alya smiled with pride as she replied "On the Ladyblog of course". Sam and Tucker looked at each other worried about what that meant "Ladyblog?" asked Sam curiously. Nino smiled at Alya "The Ladyblog is a news site that Alya started when Ladybug and Cat Noir first started as superheroes in Paris saving people from Akumatized citizens from Hawkmoth" he explained. Alya nodded at her boyfriend's explanation "I had looked up Amity Park on our way here and found that you guys have your own ghost themed superhero saving the town and the residence from ghost attacks just like Ladybug and Cat Noir with Akumas" Alya explained with excitement. "I also found that Phantom had been stamped badly by the news when he first started. But until one big ghost attack made the whole town disappear for an amount of time because of a bad ghost which Phantom defeated, Amity Park came back to reality. I also didn't like the name they gave him when he first appeared Inviobill. Come on, they could have come up with something more ghostly for a name than Inviobill. Good thing Phantom told them his name, which is great. It makes him more mysterious and I love it when heroes are mysterious" Alya admitted with genuine fascination with the ghost hero.
Sam, Tucker, and Marinette were surprised by how well Alya knew about the town's hero. "I just want to shine more good light on Phantom and what he does for this town. I know that there are people that won't agree but I don't care Phantom is like Ladybug looking out for people giving them hope when they see them" Alya admitted with determination. Sam looked like she was happy to hear that some people believed that Danny was a good hero no matter where they were from. "Guys you're all right" Danny's voice called from behind them as he ran up to them with relief in his expression.
"Students of Casper High please make sure that you have your things and please make your way home school is out for the day" came the announcement over the intercom catching everyone's attention. "Marinette, have you seen Adrien?" asked Danny looking around for the blonde. "Danny, Marinette there you are I've been looking for you" Adrien called over from the right with Marinette's bag and Danny's backpack in hand. They both grabbed their things and headed out of the School "Danny we will see you later" said Sam walking to her house with her group. "See you later Danny" Tucker waved while walking home with his group. Danny nodded and waved back a sigh escaped his lips "Well we better get going" Danny gestured to Adrien and Marinette to follow him.
