Prologue

It was senior year. It was supposed to be the best year of their lives. It was supposed to be the year for them to better themselves for the future.

But not for one Rachel Barbra Berry.

Rachel Berry, a 17 year old girl, who had her dreams planned for her basically before she even came out of the womb. She has been enrolled in numerous classes that would help here in succeeding to reach her dreams, Broadway. She has won singing and dancing competitions before she even knew what Broadway meant. She was excited for senior year since it means a year away from achieving her inevitable stardom.

It was a week away from senior year when things started going downhill for her. That's when a thought pops into her head, a scary thought that she hoped isn't what she really thought.

It's been a month and a half into the school year and Rachel has finally had the courage to try and tell her.

Looking up into McKinley High's entrance, Rachel straightens her back, held her head high, and pushed open the entrance.

Thank God she made it into her locker without being shoved and slushied by the other students.

After checking to make sure she was in her locker, she marched up to her, "Hey, I need to talk to you" said Rachel. "I have more important things to do than listen to annoying singing dwarves" she said. Rachel being the determined girl that she is pressed on even if she felt her heart crack a bit after that comment, "I have something of utmost importance that affects the both of us." But before she can reply, Santana sidled up to them saying while rolling her eyes, "Q, I can't believe you're flirting with Manhands, I get that you're into lady loving but pick a better girl will ya."

Ignoring her and her insult, Rachel continued with what she was here for, "I need to talk to you right now." Rolling her eyes and ignoring her best friend Q said, "Just because we had something in the summer, doesn't mean you mean something to me now." Rachel flinched with the unexpected reply but before she can reply Santana butt in being the gossip hungry bitch that she is, "Hold on" raising both of her hands up, "you two had something this summer?" before they can reply she laughed loudly gathering the attention of the lingering students, which was the whole McKinley!

"Yes, took her virginity and all, can't believe I stooped so low. Worst fuck of my life" Q said while smirking. Everyone including some of the glee clubbers she thought were her friends laughed, some students even caught it on video.

Rachel can't believe the girl she spent her summer with is gone. Gone was the sweet and caring vulnerable girl she stupidly fell for, back was the ruthless Ice Queen who doesn't give a crap about anyone.

For some unknown (possibly possessed) reason, Rachel Berry said something that made the entire McKinley population speechless, "I was actually just here to tell you how giving you my virginity was the most foolish decision I've ever made. Not only was it lame and boring, you ruined sexual intercourse for me. Glad that the feeling was mutual." Turning to the bystanders, "Seriously girls, I don't understand the big deal with Quinn Fabray's "sexual prowess"." Using quotation marks over her words. With that, Rachel finished her monologue with an overly fake sweet smile and stormed off, not before almost hitting Quinn's face when she flipped her hair.

Desperate to get out of the school, Rachel fast walked before anyone could see the sadness, hurt, and tears she was desperately trying to hide, shown on her face.

No one even noticed how she was hugging herself, basically holding her stomach the whole time that bit happened.

Rachel never saw the despair, regret, and longing on Quinn's face. And Quinn never knew about the stick with two lines on Rachel's locker.
