After a 7 minute walk from the park, they have finally made it inside the dance school with still a few minutes to spare.

The school was beautiful. It looked small on the outside, but was actually enormous on the inside. It was so alluring, Rachel and Alice couldn't pick up their jaw from the ground. The lobby, where the reception is and where the others are waiting, walls were painted a beautiful lilac color and were filled with various paintings of different dance styles. You can see a hallway where it would lead to the dance studio. It felt warm and the other parents and kids in there looked friendly enough.

Kneeling down to look into the hazel eyes of her daughter, "Remember to behave okay? But don't forget to have fun. If you miss me or the kids are mean to you or you don't feel well or anything at all, tell your teacher and they'll call me okay? Call me even if I am working okay?" said Rachel. "Momma you don have to worry bout me I a big girl now." said Alice with a toothy grin. Smiling since her grin is infectious, "I know honey, I just worry okay? I'm you're mommy I'm never gonna stop worrying about you." "I know momma, I love you and I will miss yous so much" replied Alice. "I love you too princess and I will miss you mucher" answered Rachel with unshed tears ready to drop on her face, hugging her daughter. She can't believe her baby girl is attending her first dance class, her first class in general, sue her.

While the duo were busy hugging, a blue eyed brunette took their attention away from each other. "Good morning parents and our dear future prima ballerinas in the making! I am Marley Rose, I am the receptionist and a friend of our dance teacher. You may call me Ms. Rose or just Marley." After everyone greeted her they returned their attention to her, "Are you excited for you girls first dance class?", all the little girls including Alice all excitedly exclaimed YES! making all the parents and Marley laugh. "Well!" while clapping her hands once, "You girls go line up into a clean line and I'll lead the way to the ballet studio."

Before the girls lined up, the parents all gathered their daughters in a hug and gave them kisses goodbye. "Enjoy your first day princess. I can't wait for you to tell me all about it! I'm gonna pick you up after my shift okay? So I might be a little late, if I am, Gabi or Alex will pick you up okay?" said Rachel. Gabi and Alex is the openly married lesbian couple living on the same floor as them. "Kaykay momma! I see you later!" answered Alice before giving her momma a big kiss on the cheek.

With that Alice turned and marched on to go line up with the other girls while Rachel watched with a proud motherly smile on her face. After watching her little girl get in the studio, Rachel looked down on her phone and noticed the time. 9:53am. Oh crap! She's going to be late for her shift!

Getting out of the school while sprinting, she accidentally bumped into another person. Normally, Rachel would stop by and pretty much beg for forgiveness but since she's almost late, and she can't afford to have any more tardies, she just yelled a sorry without looking behind her.

She didn't notice that the swearing person she bumped into was a feisty woman from her past.
