Hey! I'm new to the fandom and to reading fics and books. I actually just started this pandemic since I was stuck bored at home lol so I'm pretty much late and idek if people still read in here. Anyways, for some reason I decided to write my first ever fic ever yay! pls go easy I'm new to this KDJDKDDSOEJD I just wanna thank the many many writers who inspired me to try and write a fic, I adore y'all mWAAH!

A little backstory: Glee club happened but it was only the original 5 which means the cheerios and the jocks weren't part of it. Quinn is actually openly lesbian and everyone knew about her g!p, she's basically the female version of Noah Puckerman lol. Finchel never happened and there's no Beth and Shelby. I wrote on the caption for my fic that this is inspired by T.S.'s Wonderland which it kinda is, I'm trying to make my fic appear that the song Wonderland is the story of Faberry. I'm still not sure how the flow of my fic will be tho

Just a disclaimer, my school recently resumed classes so I won't be able to upload this weekly, as much as I want to im sorry :")) oh, I also live in a different country so I have no idea where the places I will be mentioning be I just google everything, there will be some here that I probably made up lol.

10:03am... *phew*

Rachel is in no way athlethic but she made it into her job, sprinting, with a few minutes left to spare. Thank God they open at 10:20am or else she would be looking for another job by now. The place she works at is called the "Spotlight Diner"; she just got in time to change into her uniform. The girls dress with a cute short red dress with white buttons and outlines, with a small white apron on the skirt, and a pair of red 2 inch heeled knee high boots, and the boys dress with black slacks and shoes, and a black and red button up shirt with the same white buttons and outlines. It is a retro diner where the employees go sing and dance for their customers every other hour or whenever a customer requested a performance. It may not be Broadway but she can still sing and dance in here, and the employees here are warm and are good companions. She enjoys her time working in here, not only does she get payed a lot for a waitress, the customers tip a lot too! The diner is most famous for their mouthwatering burgers and fries, and their flavorous milkshakes.

This was her first job ever, she was working part time there during college where she was at NYADA getting her diploma. She will forever be grateful that Carmen Tibideaux, the dean of the university, understood that there will be times where she has to bring her daughter during her classes since she can't afford to look and pay for a babysitter all the time and the only people she trusted her daughter with lives hours away from her. It was a surprise whenever she took Alice to her classes because she was all quiet and well-behaved, she certainly didn't get that from her. All her colleagues and professors, including the spine-chilling dance teacher, Cassandra July, adored her precious girl.

College life for Rachel Berry was a tough one. Not only was she a freshman improving herself to make a living from a cutthroat job, working multiple part time jobs to pay for their rent and the needs of her baby, she is a single mother living in a big city alone. She thanks her lucky stars that even though she disappointed her dads for getting pregnant before reaching the age of 18, they are still there to support her and her Alice everyday even if they are atleast 3 hours away from them. She also thanks her lovely neighbors, Gabi, a 27 year old short pale freckly redhead full of sunshine and rainbows who owns a floral shop near their apartment, and her other half, Alex, a closed-off 29 year old NYPD detective who rarely smiles. They are complete opposites of another but you can't deny the love and attraction radiating from them. She will be forever grateful for accidentally bumping into them while holding Alice and their groceries during the summer before her sophomore year.

"BERRY!"

Well... duty calls!

The diner has been opened for an hour now and it is already jam-packed! Rachel was getting all panicky now that she realizes she can't fetch her daughter after her dance class. Damn whoever thought it was a good idea to have their schedules clash. Thank heavens for her ever amazing best friends (their neighbors) though. After having a quick call with Gabi regarding who will fetch Alice once her 11:30am dance class ends, she went back to work and delivered the meals of the family she was assigned to.

A tall blue eyed blonde with a big smile on her face entered the studio, "Good day kids! My name is Brittany S. Pierce, you may call me Teacher B, and I am you're ballet teacher for today!" after the kids all joyfully greeted their teacher they proceeded to introduce one another. A loud blonde who looked like one of the oldest in class, Izzie, started with the greeting, all 13 other girls said their greetings and it is now Alice's turn.

Alice didn't expect that the kids in here were bright and loud, she got a little bit startled when Teacher B told her it was her turn already. "Hi, what's your name sweetie? It's okay don't be shy we're all friends here." said Brittany looking into the little girl with a familiar pair of hazel eyes and hair, and a face of someone she can't seem to remember. "H-hi, I am Alice" answered Alice shyly. "Hi Alice!" answered by all the kids and Teacher B. "Why don't you say something about yourself?" asked Brittany. "I wills turn 4 this year and I loves singing and dancing like my momma." answered Alice. "Wow! That is amazing! We will have to see your singing and dancing skills soon!" answered Brittany, giggling from how adorably familiar and shy she looked. Alice shyly grinned at her and nodded. She can't wait to ask her momma for help on singing!

After finishing the introductions, they started the class with a little energizer game. The girls get to group themselves by five since there were fifteen of them. Alice got grouped with Lily, a shy brunette who only talks to her group and the teacher, Sofia, a blonde who never stops talking and smiling, Maria, a feisty Filipina who would gladly tell Sofia to shut up, and Chloe, a total opposite of her twin, Maria. Throughout the session, the group of little girls stuck together when their teacher prepared to show their warm-ups and a little fun dance. They didn't let go of one another during the short breaks they get and even after the session has ended.

It has been a few minutes since Alice's dance class has ended and she is now bored waiting for either her momma or her favorite neighbors to pick her up. There are only a few kids left but that's because their parents were busy talking to Teacher B and Ms. Marley, asking regarding enrolling their daughters for real and asking for the schedules. Alice was thankful that there was another room in there where the kids can hangout while waiting for their parents. She was in a room as big as her dance studio the difference is it is filled with colorful carpets, bean bags, books, toys, and other things kids would most likely enjoy. It was like heaven for Alice. Less points for not having any bacon though. While waiting, she has walked around the room and settled on the purple bean bag, her favorite color, she sat there while reading a book she found on one of the shelves, Alice in Wonderland. It is her most favorite book because not only is she named after one of her favorite Disney character, it was also her other mommy's favorite book said by her momma. She's sad because she has never met her other mommy but it's okay because her momma has the biggest heart in the whole world that she feels like two people or probably more loves her.

Too engrossed with the story, she didn't notice a new comer barging into the room. "Hi there" said the new comer. Alice was startled by hearing another voice, "Oh I'm sorry, I didn't mean to startle you..." Alice raised her head and looked into the new comers eyes which is why the new comer didn't get to finish what they were saying. They were entranced with how similar they look like, snapping out of her trance, "Hi I'm Quinn, what's your name?" "Momma told me no talk to strangers" answered Alice. Chuckling, "Your momma is a very smart woman" answered Quinn, sitting on the red bean bag beside her. Alice, ignoring what the woman in front of her said and what her momma told her before, curiously asked, "Who're you? Why you here? Are you waitin for yous momma too?" Still chuckling, "I'm a good friend of Teacher B, I used to go to high school with her. No, I am not waiting for my momma. She's on the other side of the country. And I'm here since I'm taking my friend and her girlfriend to lunch to congratulate her first day of this dance class." "Girlfriend? Two girls?" asked Alice. Quinn not sure how to answer since she doesn't want to cross a line because not all lives an open mind, sighed in relief when Alice answered, "That's cool! I have two mommies, well one, I never met my other mommy" finishing her babble with a frown on her face. Quinn doesn't know who's kid this is, but she hopes the kid's other mommy go rot in hell for putting a sad look on such an adorable face.

"Alice! There you are!"

Quinn thought this woman who just entered isn't possibly Alice's mother. They look nothing alike, whereas the woman has blue eyes, the little girl has hazel eyes, where she's obviously a pale redhead, Alice's a tan girl with dirty blonde hair. Maybe the father or the sperm donor's genes were just strong.

Clearing her throat, "I guess you'll leave now since your mom's here." The duo giggled, confusing Quinn, "Hi, I'm Gabi. A friend of her mom, she can't fetch little Alice right now since she got held up during her supposed lunch break." Realization struck Quinn, "O-oh! I'm s-sorry for assuming." leaving Quinn all flustered and red from embarrassment. Giggling, "You're funny Quinn! I hope I see you soon!" chatted Alice. Quinn despite her embarrassment couldn't help but smile and reply, "I guess I'll see you next time." "Bye Quinn!" answered Alice and Gabi, leaving the room. She thought kids were annoying but something about that little girl makes her want to protect her at all cost.

Rachel has been worrying while working over her little girl. She still hasn't received a call from either friends and she won't stop til' she receives one. When she was about to ask for a break to go call them, she heard the bell on the door jingle which means another customer has entered.

"MOMAAAAAAAAA"

Before she has time to react, a tiny girl full of energy hugged her around her waist, "Hi, mommy, I missed you" answered a sweaty and grinning Alice. Rachel, despite feeling like berating her for running in the diner where she can accidentally hit her head on one of the tables answered with how much she missed her too, "What are you doing in here?" "We wanted to surprise you, surprise!" answered Alice while jumping once and spreading her arms up. Grinning with how adorable she is "Aww, I am surprised, why don't you go sit with where Gabi is and let momma go back to work. The faster I finish, the faster you can tell me all about your dance class." Shocked because that's one of the most smartest thing she's ever heard, "Momma yous right!" but before she goes back "Can I get a bacon burger n milshake please?" asked Alice while batting her eyelashes with an irresistible pout. This girl really knows how to get what she wants, her pout is Rachel's kryptonite! Sighing, "Fine, but don't go crying if you get a tummy ache later." "YAAAAAAAY!" shouted Alice while marching up to their sit in one of the booths. Shaking her head with a smile, Rachel got her order and Gabi's grilled cheese and went back to work.

Almost an hour later, another customer entered the diner. Alice looked up from where she was coloring the place mats and noticed two familiar blondes, "Teacher B! Quinn!" shouted Alice. The said women paused their conversations and looked around for the source of the sound, after noticing it was one of the little girls from the studio, they walked over to her. "Hi Alice!" said Brittany, "You guys eating lunch here too?" asked Quinn while their third counterpart, a raven haired latina woman stayed quiet and observed the little girl, where have I seen this face. "Yes, we're just eating lunch and heading home after. You're welcome to join us." answered Gabi. "Oh, we shouldn't" replied Quinn. "It's okay, it's not like there's any tables left anyways" insisted Gabi. Looking around they noticed that she was right but what made them sit around the booth was when Alice let out the big guns, apparently it wasn't just Rachel's kryptonite.

After placing their orders, they made small talk, the latina who they now know as Santana, surprised the two blonde women she came with by allowing Alice to play with her after insisting she's bored and wanted to play who the people in the diner are. "Momma and I plays it all the time and we always have fun" answered Alice. "If red over here isn't your mom, then where is she" asked Santana. Feeling energized, gasping, "You should meet my momma! She works here! Quinn!" pausing her conversation with Brittany and Gabi, turning her attention to the little girl, "Are you single?" Eyes and mouth opening wide from shock, "Woah Alice! We don't just ask people that" answered Gabi and Alice apologized sheepishly. Clearing her throat, "For your information, yes I am. Why?" answered Quinn questionably. An excited Alice answered, "My momma single! She so pretty like a princess and she sing like an angel! You should date yous both single and yous also pretty and really nice like momma." Before she can finish her ramble Gabi butt in, "Kiddo, I don't think you're mom would appreciate you setting her up behind her back and we don't even know if Quinn is into that", answering with a pout, "Momma thinks I not know but I see her sad eyes when we go to the park, we see lotsa families there with a mommy and a daddy. She sad cuz she not have a boy or girlfriend and cuz shes thinks shes making me sad for nots being with my other mommy."

The table was left speechless with the emotion coming from Alice. She looked like she was near to tears, but before that happens she replied, "I want momma and Quinn to date but is okay if no as long as they meet cuz I think yous will be besties like in My Little Pony." The table smiled with the remark, "Maybe if I like your momma, I can ask her out? But you know, being besties like cute little ponies sound nice." With that, a big smile was brought to Alice's face, it looked like her face was about to split from how happy she looked. With that the late comers' orders came and they started to eat, Brittany, Quinn, and Gabi resuming their conversation.

"Well ladies, I think little Alice in Wonderland and I will be heading home now." said Gabi. "No! I no wanna go yet! I wanna see momma first" huffed Alice. "I'm sorry honey, but I think you'll see each other when you get home, the diner is packed and I think she got sent to the back of the diner." replied Gabi. Knowing a tantrum still won't let her have things her way, Alice hung her head and said their goodbyes to the ladies, "Bye Alice! We'll see you next week for your dance class." Remembering her dance classes, she stopped sulking and hugged all three ladies from happiness.

"Q, what's with the face." asked Santana noticing the thoughtful look on Quinn's face once the combo left, "I don't know, there's just something familiar about that kid." replied Quinn. They all resumed with their lunch with the same thought in their heads, why does Alice look so familiar?
