It's now the morning after the wild night that they had. Groaning with the bright light shining through the slits of the curtains, Rachel rolled into an unfamiliar bed, and saw a glass of water and aspirin lying on the bed side table.

Sitting up despite feeling nauseous, she took the glass, chucked half of the water before shoving the aspirin down her throat, downing it with the remaining water.

Throughout this, she never noticed the person watching her through the open door.

"How are you feeling"

Squeaking in surprise, "Harmony! You can't just sneak up on me" squeaked Rachel while rubbing her temple.

"What happened?"

After letting Harmony fill in the occurrence of the night before, learning that she slept right away after the other girl laid her on her bed, a silence loomed over the room.

"Who was the woman you were running from?"

Ahh the question I've been waiting for

After thinking about whether telling Harmony the truth or make up a lie, she decided with being honest. It's the least she can do.

Another silence loomed over the room, a tense one, and then..

"It... it was Quinn" was said quietly, barely a whisper.

Sitting on the bed beside the brown eyed brunette, staring into her eyes "You've got to be more specific"

Psyching herself up, "She was the reason I ran away from Lima" looking away from her companion's eyes.

Hugging the clearly shaken girl, knowing that that's all she's gonna get, "It's okay... you can tell me when you're ready... just remember that I'm here for you, okay?" shushed Harmony.

With that, Rachel finally let out a sob she's been wanting to let go ever since she saw her.

After getting her bearings, she went out of her friend's apartment in desperate need of a hug from her daughter.

...her daughter

Rachel decided to take a very long walk on the way back home (even while wearing her sparkly dress and Harmony's sneakers with her heels on her hands) because she wanted to think; she wanted to get lost in her thoughts alone.

She's having a hard time dealing about what just happened. She just saw her ex summer lo— no, her ex friends (were they even friends to begin with) with benefits.

It's kind of unbelievable that after all these years, when she was already barely feeling the pain of the past anymore, did it all come back, bouncing straight to her face.

Did I cause world domination in my past life or something; the world seems to hate me right now...

...she's back

She's back... she's back...

SHE'S BACK!!!

The other mother of my child is back

What does this mean? If they ever bump into each other again, what would happen? Does she even live in New York? Why New York of all places? What happens if they bump into each other at the park or at the grocery... with Alice in tow?

She doesn't even need to know that Alice is part her daughter too right? I mean she hurt her mother, what's gonna stop her from hurting her kid? Right?

Will it be good for Alice to just have one of her mothers? They spent years together just the two of them, they can endure more years together alone...

Should I deny my child the possibility of seeing her other parent?

All these questions floating in Rachel's head makes her feel dizzy and nauseous.

She'll think about what she'll do when she gets home. She just really wants to go cuddle with her princess and eat lots of salted caramel ice cream, her favorite... and maybe some bacon.

Bacon... her favorite... Oh God Berry stop thinking bout her

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Cuddling with her daughter in the living room with a tub of salted caramel and strawberry banana ice cream while watching Tangled, sure did lessen the stress of the past few hours.
"Momma, when you'll find yous Flynn Rider?"
Rachel was fixated with watching the movie that she startled when Alice spoke, looking into the girl's face, "What do you mean by that princess?"
"Yous Flynn, momma. Yous one true love" explained Alice in a slow manner as if talking to some dumb high school jock.
Surprised with the question, she answered truthfully, "I don't know princess... I don't think everyone has their own Flynn."
"But if you no have a Flynn yous live sad and lonely" answered the girl.
"But I have you, don't I? And that's already enough for me. I don't feel sad or lonely right now... I guess true love isn't for everyone" answered Rachel even though the words coming out of her mouth felt wrong.
The little blonde saw a thoughtful frown on her momma's face and it made an idea pop in her head.
Gasping, "Momma! You shoud meet my new friend!"
The brunette mother jumped a little in surprise with the unexpected loudness of her daughter's voice, "New friend?"
"Yes! I meets them in ballet and auntie Gabi and mes have lunch with them too!"
Raising her eyebrows because she for sure never saw another person when they visited her, "Is she one of your ballet classmates?"
"Nooooooo momma" was exasperated with a roll of her eyes.
"Shes the nice lady who talked to me when I was waiting for auntie Gabi"
Loud, red alarm bells started ringing in her head because what the hell??!? My daughter talked to a stranger... sure she said she was a nice lady but what if she was tricking her? Oh God my poor baby, Oh God what if this nice lady took my baby away from me...
Before she started hyperventilating with all the what ifs, the lantern scene in Tangled started playing. They stopped their conversation and returned their gazes to the tv to watch their most favorite scene.
Watching the love seen from the characters' eyes, green eyes popped into her mind.
I'm afraid I already found my Flynn... I just wasn't their Rapunzel.
In an apartment seven blocks away, a green eyed blonde was finding ways on how to find her love without resorting to floating lanterns.
