Hi Guys. Welcome to another chapter.

1: I'm super happy for all you reactions to the last chapter. I honestly didn't think you'd all be so positive.

2: unfortunately I've been thinking about the future of this story. And I've come to the conclusion that some of my future arcs must be cut. The biggest being the buu saga. Not only is it too long but I don't think I could do it justice. This may disappoint some of you but it is so I can produce a better story.

Anyway on with newest saga

Flashpoint.

Fifteen years ago

Running was something that seemed to occur naturally for Barry Allen. Wether that was from catching the bus. Or in this case, running from three bullies. The blonde haired child used his legs very frequently. However eventually he'd always tire out. Barry tripped on a rock just a few streets down from his house. Causing the bullies to catch up. Two held him by his wrist, while the third confronted him.

"What do you think fellas? Couple of punches for ratting us out to the principal?" Without a second thought the boy punched Barry in the face multiple times. Blood ran from his nose. His voice was only just about audible.

"It was you... who beat Ned senseless." Barry whispered.

"And I'm going to do the same with you!" Suddenly the boys were stopped by a tall dark skinned man and a ginger haired little girl. "Oh no. Run!" In an instant the three boys ran away. Leaving Barry to recover his senses.

"Thanks Iris. Thanks Officer West."

"Barry we've talked about this, call me Joe." The police officer helped the young boy to his feet.

"Barry that's the third time this month. I don't know what would've happened if me and uncle Joe didn't find you." Iris lectured her friend. "You know if you wanted to expose them I could've just put it in the school paper." Barry still refused to say anything, still feeling pain from those punches.

"Come on, let's get you home." The three walked together until they reached Barry's home. Where an older gentleman with brown hair and blue eyes opened the door. The man instantly checked Barry, concerned for his safety.

"Come on Barry, how many times is that now?" He asked. The young boy sighed.

"I know Dad." The blonde responded, before sulking upstairs. Turning around just before getting out of view. "Bye Iris. Bye Officer West."

"Bye Barry." She replied, just as Barry went out of fight. The man sighed as he looked back to Joe.

"I'm sorry Joe." He apologised.

"You have nothing to apologise for Henry. Barry's a good kid, Iris told me he was just standing up to a bully. And I can respect that. You know I'd treat him like one of my own." Joe explained. Henry smiled as the two shook hands.

"You're a good friend Joe. Oh by the way, are we still up for bowing?"

"Only If the first first rounds on you." The two laughed as they parted ways.

"Bye Iris."

"Bye Mr Allen." The young girl waved as Henry closed the door. His expression changed from one of laughter to concern. His son was upstairs with a bruised eye and busted face. How was he going to fix this?

.

Barry sat in his bed, reading a magazine on Star Labs. It had always been his dream to work there. The scientific breakthroughs they achieved were incredible. Barry couldn't help but feel pessimistic. Until he looked over to see his mother in the doorway. Nora Allen was a medium high blonde woman in her mid thirties. She had green eyes and white skin.

"Your father told me what happened. Do you want to talk about it?" She questioned her son.

"I just wanted to help Ned." He argued.

"Barry, your father and I know you did the right thing. We're just concerned about your wellbeing. You took quite a hit today." Nora checked her son's bruise, who moved her hand away.

"I just need to be stronger and faster."

"Bartholomew Henry Allen! There will always be people who can hit harder and run faster. Instead of facing them, use your greatest asset."

"That big brain of yours." Henry chimed in, walking through the door. "Hey Einstein, I thought these might cheer you up." Henry handed his son an envelope. Opening up the young boy felt a sudden smile appear. Inside were three tickets for a tour around star labs. "I called in a few favours and got them for a reasonable price." Barry instantly shot out of bed and hugged his parents.

"You guys are the best!" Nora and Henry smiled as their baby boy felt happiness again.

"Don't mention it Barry. Now I think it's time to get some sleep." The young boy sunk beneath his covers as he looked over to his mother. Nora smiled as she turned off the light.

.

Barry's eyes shot open in the middle of night. The blonde swore he just heard a large pot smash. The once dark corridors were illuminated by a light downstairs. Barry curiously investigated, sneaking downstairs. Each step he took caused a little creak. However Barry heart skipped a beat as he heard his mother crying. He dramatically increased his speed, sprinting into the front room. In it Barry found his mother pinned against the wall by a man in some yellow costume. The man was vibrating so fast he couldn't tell what he or his costume looked like.

"Mom!" Barry screamed at the top of his voice. The man in yellow's head swung round. The man's fist clenched, his voice growled.

"You." The man snarked.

"Please leave my son out of this." Nora pleaded, tears rolling down her face. Everyone soon heard footsteps coming down the stairs. Henry charged at the man with a knife. The intruder breezed forward punching Henry so hard it sent him backwards. Causing him to knock his head on a bookshelf. Barry ran to his father, thinking the worst had happened. The man in yellow picked up Henry's knife and lifted Nora up by the throat.

"You die, because of him." With one fateful lunge the intruder stabbed Nora in the gut. Time slowed for Barry as he could do nothing but watch his mothers limp body hit the floor. Every second felt like an hour. A huge thud soon bought him back to reality.

"Mum!" He cried out, charging at the man in yellow. Who simply dodged, then kneeing him in the stomach so hard Barry fell down.

"Not yet... Barry." The man whispered, before running off. Those were the last words Barry heard before falling unconscious.

.

Barry was growing impatient he had been speaking to a police officer for over fifteen minutes. Barry woke up in an ambulance, who took him to a hospital. After which he traveled to the police station for a statement. Barry was still in shock after what had just happened. His body refused to stay still. The police officer yawned as he looked over his notes.

"So if I'm correct. A man in a glowing yellow suit stabbed your mother and then teleported out of there?" The officer remarked. Barry now clearly frustrated became louder.

"Yes! My dad is innocent!" The Officer rubbed his eyes. This day was tiring and Barry wasn't making it any easier.

"Listen kid, I get it. He's your dad and you want to cover for him. But look at it this way. The police have rules that people have to follow. And your daddy just broke the biggest rule out there. So why don't we stop beating around the bush, and start telling me what really happened." Barry was confused by this whole situation. Why wouldn't they believe him? His dad did nothing wrong! The door creaked open. Barry and the officer looked over to see Joe standing there.

"Can I have a minute with the boy?" He very politely requested. The officer almost rushed out of the door. Clearly bored of this whole ordeal.

"Knock yourself out!" He bitterly responded as Barry and Joe were left alone. The young boy rushed up and hugged his fathers friend.

"Officer West, are you taking me to see my dad?" Barry asked, tears flowing down his face. Joe paused for a second, Barry could tell this was hard for him too.

"No Barry, I'm afraid I'm not." Barry let go of the policeman. Feeling a slight hint of betrayal.

"But my dad didn't do anything wrong. It was the man in yellow. You believe me right?"

"I believe that's what you saw." The young boy finally felt a ray of sunshine heading through the clouds. However that Hope was soon dashed. "Listen Barry, you just witnessed something terrible. And when someone your age goes through something like that." Joe stopped trying desperately to word his next sentence correctly. "Sometimes our mind tricks us into believing something is there to justify what happened." Barry took two steps back, refusing to listen.

"No, I know exactly what I saw." Joe closed his eyes. Deep down he knew that it would take time for Barry to recover.

"Listen Barry, until this all gets sorted out, how about you stay with me, Iris and baby Wally. Does that sound good to you?" The young man nodded as the two hugged once more. Barry once again was in floods of tears. In a matter of minutes his whole world had begun to fall apart. Barry's mother was gone, his father imprisoned. And it would never be the same again.

.

Present Day

Barry sat uncomfortably in the prison visitor room. No matter how many times he sat in the same chair, it always left a sore bottom. The speedster was actually relaxed for once. His life had actually been on the up for a while now. All of Central City's resident villains had been captured. The Flash was receiving his very own museum tonight. Plus Barry was finally moving out of the West household. Joe, Iris and Wally had been like a family to him. But he was old enough now for his own place. It would also make it easier for him to quickly go and complete some hero work. Barry smiled as he noticed his father slowly walk into the room. The two each picked up the phone the let them communicate.

"Hey Einstein." Henry greeted his son. "How's the relocation?"

"Great. I'm scheduled to move in the next few days. It'll be sad to leave Joe, but at the same time it's exciting." Barry's explained. Soon though his excited expression turned to concern. "I heard about the riot three days ago. You weren't hurt were you?"

"I'm fine Barry."

"Great, couldn't see you get hurt before you get out!" That last quote left Henry very confused.

"Get out?"

"Yeah. Listen I think I've got a lead on the man in yellow." Henry sighed, much to Barry's obliviousness. "There's been reports of a strange man in yellow running through the streets of Keystone City."

"Barry you've been down this road before. You always find another dead end."

"This time it's different. The locals say..."

"Enough Barry." The heavy tone certainly came as a shock to Central City's Scarlet Speedster. "Barry, please heed my words. I want you to stop visiting me." Those words were like a giant gut ouch for the hero. "I am an anchor on your life. Stopping you from reaching your full potential." A tear fell down Barry's cheek.

"I don't believe that for a single second."

"No? After that riot a detective came to question us all. He mentioned how you were lazy, always turning up late and getting distracted easily. That's not the boy I raised." Barry hung his head in shame. Father and son then put one of their hands on the glass separating them. "Barry you're a brilliant man. Smart, kind and loyal. But you are destroying your life, for a man who's never getting out."

"Don't say that, please."

"Barry you have to learn to move on. I couldn't do anything as the man in yellow stole my life from me. But I refuse to let him take your's too." A guard suddenly walked up behind Henry.

"Times up Allen." He barked.

"I love you." Henry whispered as he was escorted away. Barry hung up the phone, with his head facing downwards. He didn't care what his father said. That man ruined his life, and he would receive justice.

So I hope you enjoyed.
