Barry's mouth opened, yet no sound was made. Not even a birds squeak could be heard. His once proud city was no more. Just a few bits of rubble in an otherwise desolate graveyard. The speedsters thoughts turned to his family. All he could do was pray that they were all still on the lookout. As he was thinking about that, Barry heard some yelling in the distance.

"Ahh!" A young boy screamed. Barry looked to the direction, instantly recognising who that voice belonged to.

"Wally?" He muttered. The hero rapidly made his way towards the young man's voice. Hiding behind a corner Barry slowly peeped his head round. There he spotted the familiar ginger hair of his adopted brother. Who was being chocked by two men. Barry's heart skipped a beat as he noticed something impossible. Both men had tails! Barry knew that couldn't be right, Goku and Vegeta were the only Saiyan's left. He would get answers, but right now saving Wally was most important. The speedster flung himself into action. Sending a flying kick towards the alien choking his brother. The other Saiyan chuckled as he caught a glimpse of Barry.

"And here I thought we captured all you meta humans?" The Saiyan smugly said. Barry though wasn't interested in chatting, without hesitation he punched the man in his face. The pavement cracked with a loud bang as he landed. Barry turned back to Wally, checking him over.

"Did they hurt you?" The speedster asked. Wally though desperately tried to move away.

"You... and speed." Wally struggled to speak for a second, before composing himself. "You should have left me, now they'll grab you too." Barry looked on in confusion, it was as if Wally didn't even recognise him. However before Barry could explore this further, a bright light shone on him. The hero looked over to see dozens of Saiyan's surrounding him. Each one had blasters pinned on the two. Barry grunted, knowing he couldn't take them all on and save Wally too. Reluctantly the speedster surrendered, putting his hands up. One of the Saiyan's walked up and put a collar on him.

Barry noticed that the Saiyan's all lowered their guard. Seizing the opportunity, Barry grabbed his adopted brother and tried to run. However they didn't make it far, Barry couldn't feel his powers at all. One Saiyan smashed Barry with his fist as punishment.

"Don't even think of trying to escape human!" The Saiyan ordered. "That collar dampens any meta powers." The speedster gritted his teeth in frustration. Barry could instantly tell the difference. He couldn't pin point it, but he felt like the electricity once circulating his body was now missing. Suddenly the Saiyan's all fell to one knee. "Oh sir, we weren't expecting you. We found these two hiding. The one in red is a meta human."

"Is that so? Doesn't really matter either way. Human trash is still human trash." The leader replied. Barry's whole body became stiff. He slowly turned his head, spotting a familiar face. There standing in front of him was Nappa. The bald headed Saiyan smirked as someone hit Barry at the back of his head. The speedster fell to the floor, barely able to keep his eyes open. "Night, night." Those were the last words Barry heard before losing consciousness.

.

Barry slowly opened his eyes, finding himself tied up in a spaceship of some kind. The speedster feared the worst as he scramble to look out this vehicle's window. Thankfully they were still on Earth. This whole situation was terrifying, Barry's city was burnt to cinder, his family didn't know him and Saiyan's roamed the Earth. The speedster's eyes moved behind him to a depressed looking Wally. The red head looked back with anger flowing though his body.

"Where are they taking us?" The hero of Central City asked, confusing his adopted brother.

"You've been in a coma the last fifteen years?" Wally responded. Barry looked back in shock, fifteen years? None of this made any sense.

"Something like that." It wasn't the best lie, but at least it made sense.

"Well we're heading into a concentration camp. Spending the rest of our lives farming their god damn Senzu beans."

"Senzu beans?"

"A little bean that can heal any injury. It's the only reason they haven't yet caused human extinction. You know what you did was foolish right?"

"I just wanted to help."

"Trust me... in this world, there's no such thing as heroes." Barry was shocked by his brothers demeanour. The once hopeful young man, was now a bitter shadow of his former self. Both young men fell silent as the ship soon landed. Smoke filled the ship's room as it's main door opened. Standing in the doorway, was a cocky looking Nappa.

"All right maggots, let's get going!" The bald Saiyan yelled. Wally did as he was instructed, however Barry wasn't budging. The Saiyan wasn't angry, he seemed to find joy in Barry's defiance. "I won't ask again." Eventually Barry gave up and did what was asked of him. The speedster stepped out onto an acre of land. The green was full of humans slaving away. Barry grunted as he watch this unfold, powerless to stop it. How could anybody be this cruel? Soon they were approached by a Saiyan, who's black hair went down to his ankles.

"New recruits?" The mysterious Saiyan asked.

"I'm surprised too Raditz. Don't find many that aren't in the blasted rebellion." Nappa replied. Raditz? Barry could have sworn he heard that name before. Finally it came to him! This was Goku's brother! The one that came to Earth a year before Vegeta. They had never met before, but he did see some resemblance in Goku. "This one here is a meta human. Be sure to treat him with extra love." Nappa chuckled as he walked back onto his ship.

Raditz signalled his men to intervene, as he too left. Leaving two guards to escort both men to their living quarters. The room was quite large, having at least three dozen bunk beds. Wally scowled and instantly walked towards a bed far from Barry. The speedster tried to comfort him, but felt a gentle hand on his shoulder.

"Just give the kid some space." The man whispered. Barry turned around to look at him. The gentleman was about average height. He had blonde spiked hair and a goatee to match. He was most likely in his early thirties.

"Maybe you're right." Barry bitterly responded.

"Of course I am. Name's Oliver Queen." The man introduced himself as.

"Barry Allen." The two shook each other's hand. "So what is this place?" Oliver chuckled at this question.

"Welcome to Camp Bardock. Our home for the foreseeable future." Oliver turned towards the men and women currently either sleeping or getting ready to. Oliver had a light tone in his voice, which soon turned deadly serious. "Listen... watch your back. Guards here don't take too kindly to meta humans."

"I'll keep that in mind." Barry walked over towards the nearest available bed and lay down. He desperately wanted to believe this was just a dream. That he'd wake up and everything would be back to normal. But this wasn't a dream, somehow his world was gone.

.

Nappa found himself at the newly constructed Saiyan royal building. Darkness crept around every corner. This place always gave him the chills. The floor creaked with every step. Though Nappa's feet shaking didn't exactly help matters at all. The Saiyan push two gigantic doors open, as he did a huge light shone through the centre. The moon illuminated this humongous room, Nappa swallowed hard as he knelt down. He looked up at a throne with royalty sitting on it. The warrior never liked looking at him in the eye. And due to the moon not illuminating that throne, he didn't have to.

"You come bearing news, Nappa?" The royal asked.

"Yes sir. I have successfully apprehended another meta human." Nappa quickly responded.

"Oh and where is this meta human now?

"At Camp Bardock sir. Working on one of our Senzu farms."

"I see... Execute him immediately." This request surprised the Saiyan warrior. He knew that meta humans had caused trouble in the past. But to be this cutthroat was shocking.

"Sir, he has one of the dampeners on. He is of no threat..."

"Are you disobeying a direct order?" Nappa squealed as he looked down. The Saiyan couldn't see, but he felt those burning eyes staring at him.

"No sir, I'll head back and get it done immediately." Nappa stood and walked rapidly towards the exit.

"See to it that you do. My father is coming in three days and I do not wish to disappoint him." Nappa stopped and began to shake even harder.

"The King... is coming here?"

"Yes, he wants to see our achievements with his own eyes. And I'll be damned if I end up like my fool of a brother! So I expect good things from you Nappa." The bald Saiyan almost rushed out of the room, fearing for his life. Leaving the prince to sit back on his throne. Despite Nappa's stupidity, he was not only a loyal servant, but good at what he did. This visit from the king was going to run smoothly. After all he made sure nobody had the power to stop him.

.

A loud bell rang through Barry's ears. It was as if the loudest alarm clock blasted right through his brain. The speedster's head started to feel like it was banging against his skull. The dirty and hard pillow certainly didn't help matters. Barry looked around, his heart crumbled as he noticed the amount of sorrow on every face. This whole situation wasn't just cruel, it was inhuman. As a Saiyan walked in, the whole room cowered behind their beds.

"All right, you maggots!" The Saiyan shouted at the top of his lungs. "Five minutes to get changed, then start working!"

"Ass." One person muttered under their breath. Barry had to agree as he changed into a set of clothes the lay by his bed. The shirt was slightly big, going down beyond his hips. However apart from that it fitted really well. Barry did keep his ring on though, just in case. When the five minutes were up everyone made their way down to the fields. The rising sun almost burned them instantly. Sweat dropped down each and every forehead. Barry was puzzled as to what needed to be done. Until he was approached by Oliver.

"Stick with me for today, I'll explain everything." He said.

.

Both men found themselves by the outer wall, picking Senzu beans from the ground. It was now midday and the temperature had only gotten worse. Without the speed force, Barry could feel all his muscles tense up. It didn't help that the Saiyan's refused to give out any water. As he looked throughout the fields every single worker looked like they were near the end. Except Oliver who despite being in the same situation looked happy. It almost enraged the speedster, how could someone in this position be upbeat.

"Make sure you pick every bean from..." Oliver tried to explain, though he was cut off by his disgruntled companion.

"How do you do this? They are forcing you into slavery and you're happy with it?" Barry ferociously argued. Oliver looked down in despair. The once upbeat man now looked like everyone else.

"Who says I'm happy?" The hero of Central city looked back in confusion. "Truth is I'm terrified. We're outgunned, outmanned and outclassed in every single way. The truth is... this is the end."

"You're giving up? What about this resistance? I heard they were putting up a decent fight."

"They can't do anything, I know first hand. I used to be part of the best four man team in the resistance." Barry looked on in utter shock.

"You were part of the resistance?"

"I was a master with a bow and arrow. Folks back at base gave me the nickname, Green Arrow. Said I reminded them of Robin Hood." Oliver smiled again, looking at the other workers. "Why do you think these guys all look up to me? My team did a lot against the Saiyan's. However we were only four people against an entire army. It was inevitable we'd eventually lose. I lost..." Barry looked on as he could tell Oliver was recalling a bad memory.

"I get it, something bad happened. But that still doesn't answer my question?"

"Simply put, someone has to be upbeat. Look at these guys, they've lost everything. Not just their possessions... but friends, and family. Others attack the guards simply so they can end their suffering. Our resistance is the last remaining thing keeping hope alive. I can't sit back and watch them lose that too." Oliver turned back, hoping to get working again. However Barry noticed that he was frozen in place. The speedster turned and stared at the wall. Soon noticing a very tiny hole in it.

"This wasn't here before!"

"No it wasn't, and I have a pretty good idea who caused it."

"Hey!" A deep voice bellowed. Barry and Oliver quickly turned around to the Saiyan guard from earlier. "Why aren't you working?" The two humans glanced at each other.

"Well we just wanted to conserve our energy." Oliver lied, not pleasing the guard at all. "You know conserve our energy now otherwise we'll be useless tomorrow..." The Saiyan replied by punching him in his stomach.

"A joker huh? Let's teach you a lesson!" Once again he punched Oliver this time sending him on the floor. Barry gritted his teeth, knowing he was powerless.

"You know... can I get some help here?"

"Sure you can." A new feminine voice said. Both Barry and the guard look around aimlessly. Until out of thin air a female figure hit the Saiyan with a deep uppercut, knocking him out. The women was wearing a blue coloured robotic suit. With a face covering helmet that had an atomic symbol placed on it. "Don't you worry, the Atom is here."
