Welcome everyone to the next chapter. I can't believe I've managed to upload so quickly. Well I hope you all enjoy.

.

The next morning Barry, Oliver and Thomas were all making their way towards the hangar bay. The Dark Knight was carrying a handcuffed Goku. Ensuring there were no escape attempts. Almost the entire base was asleep however a few night workers were on patrol. The air felt thinner as they crept their way past sleeping civilians. The Caped Crusader huffed as his right shoulder started to ache from carrying their prisoner.

"Honestly I don't mind walking!" The prince jokingly whispered.

"Remind me again why we're bringing him?" Thomas questioned the speedster.

"He's our bargaining chip to save Bulma." Barry whispered. He stopped the team, checking to see if the landing zone was clear. Once Barry was satisfied he ordered the team to head into their ship. With a puff of smoke the door rolled down granting them access. It didn't take long to reach the bridge. Thomas slammed Goku into a chair. The three heroes attempted to start the engine. It wasn't an especially difficult task however the real challenge came after. The bridge's only sound came from the radio. Which had begun to beep loudly. Thomas glared at Oliver who was closest. So the archer reluctantly answered it.

"Command to Starship Enterprise. You are not cleared for takeoff." The man called out.

"Yeah um we had a slight engine malfunction yesterday so General Allen wanted us to test them this morning. Everything's fine... Thank you... How... How are you?" Oliver rambled desperately clawing to save time.

"Who is this?"

"This is um..." Oliver stared at his companions who gestured for him to come up with anything. "Mike from engineering." Thomas and Barry facepalmed, unable to even look Oliver in the eye.

"Mike?" A long pause soon played out. Oliver crossed his fingers in hope. "How are you man?" Barry and Thomas jaws dropped. Neither could believe that this plan w as working.

"Yeah good thanks." Oliver couldn't quite believe it himself.

"You got the flu? Barely recognised you over the mic."

"Yeah I might be coming down with something." Oliver looked over to see Barry gesturing to hurry along. "Listen General Allen wanted this done ASAP. So I really need to take this for a test run."

"Of course give my best to Alex."

"Don't worry I'll tell him." For a brief second there was a pause.

"You mean her?"

"Sorry?"

"Just now you said 'him', not her." Oliver froze, being out on the spot like this was never easy.

"Oh yeah, sorry. Just a slip of the tongue." The man remained unconvinced however.

"What is Alex in relation to you?" Both Flash and Batman stared directly at Oliver. Pressuring him even more.

"Cmon, you know who she is."

"If you're really Mike, you could easily answer that question. Now... what is Alex in relation to you?" His voice suddenly became much more threatening. Sweat dripped down Oliver's face. His feet began to tap the floor constantly.

"Well that's easy." Suddenly out of nowhere Oliver hung up. "Boring conversation anyway. Let's get going!" Thomas turned the key, causing the engines to roar into life. Within a second the ship started to hover, soaring straight up into the sky. Oliver sighed with relief as he left to get some air. After a minute Thomas turned to Barry, his eyes still having the same glare in it.

"Allen answer me this. When we find Thawne and have him undo all this. What will happen to me?" Batman asked the young man. Who closed his eyes briefly with uncertainty. He didn't know if it was a good idea to tell the truth. But he couldn't lie about it either.

"This version of you will cease to exist. You and your wife will be killed in crime alley rather than Bruce. He'll take up the mantle of Batman." Barry tried to read the Dark Knight's face. Though he remained very stoic, showing very little emotion. Thomas suddenly handed Barry a letter he was keeping in his boot. The speedster looked it over, curious as to what it was.

"When you find Thawne, and stop this madness, can you please give this to my son?" Barry was slightly surprised Thomas trusted him this much, though a welcome one. A smile came from his lips.

"I promise. I also promise we'll beat the Saiyan's."

"How can you be so sure?"

"Because I know that as long as we have hope, we'll win." Barry didn't notice the Saiyan overhearing their conversation. That last line especially sticking with him. Hearing this Goku came to a conclusion. As long as there was hope, humanity would always rebel. And so he knew what needed to be done.

.

Three hours later, the team arrived just outside Washington. Landing about three miles from the 'White House'. The now late morning meant that the temperature increased, though it was still cold. That didn't stop the four of them making their way towards the king. Barry rushed everyone over to right outside, where they noticed a ship that had landed not moments beforehand. There were several dozen guards waiting patiently for whoever was on it. Tension rose, the three eager to see what was happening. All of a sudden the door slid down. Stepping out the ship was a man who looked very much like an older Goku. Though they all noticed a massive scar on his face. He wore a traditional Saiyan armour. Although unlike nighty five percent of the Saiyan population, his was in pristine condition.

"So is that the King?" Oliver asked Goku, who nodded in response. "Then lead the way." Thomas pushed the Saiyan into view as Saiyan warriors started to aim their weapons.

"King..." Barry paused as he didn't actually know his name. The speedster looked at Goku for knowledge.

"Bardock." The Saiyan answered.

"Bardock! I offer a trade. Your soldiers have one of our comrades, release her to us and your son will be returned." Bardock smiled as he turned towards a nearby Nappa.

"Bring the prisoner here!" He ordered. Nappa was shocked that the King was actually accepting this deal.

"Oh... yes sir!" The bald Saiyan quickly replied. Nappa rushed off and within a couple of minutes returned with a half beaten Bulma. The blue haired girl had multiple bruises all around her body. As well as several deep cuts and a missing eye. Barry and Oliver felt disgusted after looking at her. Thomas meanwhile was nothing more than enraged. The poor girl had already been through so much. And now aggressive torture seemed to be another. The switch was now made, Goku with his handcuffs still attached was handed to Bardock. Meanwhile Barry and crew had gotten Bulma back. Who hugged all three instantly.

"I never thought I'd see you again." The shrinking hero cried out with tears of joy. Goku meanwhile had finally got to where his dad was stationed.

"Father I..." Goku was unable to finish as he was sent crashing into the floor by Bardock. The four were speechless at what had just transpired.

"After all those mistakes your brother made, I honestly thought you would be different. But it's just more of the same... pathetic." Goku felt crushed, he had never in his life once failed his father, until now. And it was all those damn Earthlings fault. Bardock meanwhile turned to the four heroes. "You know most Earthlings would have run by now."

"King Bardock, I'm here to bargain!" Barry stated, peaking the kings interest.

"Please go on." The king said.

"A one one one battle, you versus me." The other Saiyan's started to laugh manically at this. "I win, you all leave this planet and never return. And if you win, I'll revel the location to the hidden rebel base. Bulma was about to object to this, but Thomas stopped her.

"Don't worry. The base should have been abandoned by now. The resistance is safe." The Dark Knight explained.

"If he loses we'll still die though." Bulma argued.

"Yeah... we will." Bulma noticed that Thomas had made it sound like this plan was an inevitability. Which he knew it was.

"So, do you accept my challenge?" Barry asked the king of all Saiyan's. Who walked over to him.

"Very well, though I must warn you. In almost thirty years, no one has ever managed to best me." Bardock informed Barry. "You are a fool for thinking that you could." Without hesitation Bardock charged at the speedster. His fist slamming into Barry, who quickly defended the attack.

"Hey no fair!" The speedster sent out his own punch which was quickly dodged. Bardock once again tried to hit his opponent, though Barry saw it coming. Thinking quickly he used Bardock momentum to launch him into the side of the White House. The Saiyan soldiers were shocked. No one had ever managed to get a hit on their king. Bardock looked down to see a crack in his armour. The Saiyan smiled as he looked back over to Barry.

"Twenty years I've had this armour. And I've never had even a scratch on it. And now for you to have broken my armour, a simple earthling. You... have my respect." Barry was a little surprised by that. "However I still have to beat you. So since you've earned my respect, I'll let you die facing me at my full potential. Like a warrior should." After his speech Bardock began to power up. The ground started to crack underneath his feet. Barry stared in horror, knowing what this meant.

"No... It can't be!" Yet it was, a familiar sight of golden hair was on full display. The rest of them however was shocked.

"This is my full power. The Super Saiyan!" Barry shook as he knew this challenge might have been a mistake. Without hesitation Bardock released a flour of punches. All landing on the speedster. Who ended up flying into the other heroes, who caught him.

"Please tell me you have a plan!" Thomas begged the hero of Central City who suddenly had an idea.

"Don't worry guys, I have a plan." Barry responded. The three looked at him with anticipation. "One last chance!"

"Are you sure it'll work?" Oliver questioned him.

"Of course it is my secret technique!" Bulma's face suddenly dropped. Oliver meanwhile grinned in anticipation.

"Awesome I've been waiting for this since the camp."

"Flash when you say secret technique. You're not referring to that secret technique are you?" She asked him. Though either Barry didn't hear her. Or chose to ignore her.

"Now pay close attention, one day you might need to do this too."

"I can do this too? Please show us!" Barry smirked as he stared directly into the Saiyan kings eyes. Who of course heard everything that was being said.

"If you think this technique of yours can hurt me then by all means... try it." Bardock's sinister vibe was certainly felt by the heroes. Barry's lightning surrounded his body. His breathing became heavier. It was time. Within a split second he turned around.

"Run for your lives!" He screamed as the speedster left them all behind. Everyone had to pinch themselves just to make certain they weren't dreaming. Except Bulma who screamed in frustration.

"God damn you Allen!" She angrily shouted. Bardock grunted furiously. This Earthling had not only mocked him, but the ancient art of combat. The king levitated off the air. Still in sight of his pray.

"Oh no you don't!" Bardock bellowed, as he chased after his opponent.

.

Barry knew he couldn't beat Bardock. A Super Saiyan was way too much for him to handle. So Barry did the one thing that he was good at. He kept going forward. No matter what was behind him, the hero of Central City always seemed to be able to do that. Mile after mile flew by as the speedster continued towards his destination. What he was about to do was a big risk. And if the base hadn't been abandoned yet... lives would be lost. Yet Barry knew this was the only way. Multiple states were run through, until Barry reached his destination. The speedster smiled as he noticed everyone had been evacuated. The CSI ran into the base, with Bardock following closely behind. The king sent a Ki blast flying, hitting Barry's left wrist. The hero crashed into a control panel inside the war room. His wrist was broken. His back was about to give out. And his head felt like it was exploding. However Barry knew he had one chance. One opportunity to finish this fight. With all his might Barry stood up and leaned on the panel. Bardock stood opposite him, a smile on his face.

"Run out of places to hide." He teased the speedster. Before readying a Ki blast to finish his opponent. "While this wasn't the way I wish I'd won. A win, is still a win." Bardock then let loose his attack. Barry though smirked, knowing his plan had come together perfectly.

"Your right, a wins... a win." The speedster whispered, heading for the exit. Bardock could only watch as his attack collided with Bulma's bomb. The nuke exploded on impact, engulfing the king. Barry meanwhile ran towards the exit. The explosion was faster than expected, but never the less he carried on. As Barry reached the outside, a shockwave sent him flying forward. Landing on the ground with a huge crunch. Barry's entire body now stung, the pain engulfing him. However he had done it, the king of all Saiyan's... was dead. The speedster turned around, still sitting, and observed the view. The base was now noting more than a smouldering pile of ash. One with a huge whole in the centre. However his victory was short lived as a voice suddenly came from behind.

"Oh Barry." The voice mockingly said. The CSI turned around to see Eobard Thawne staring him down. "Look what you did."

.

How did you like that? Im hoping the next chapter will be the last in this arc. But we still have a lot to get through so it could be two. Anyway see you next time.

Reviews:

X3runner: The timeline is slightly confusing i know. In this version, Goku didn't killl Gohan as an ape. He never met Bulma. And discovered Kamis tower when his father came and he regained his memories.

Cruden: Yes

Guest: Not to sound disrespectful but it is explained who she is.
