Hi Guys welcome to another chapter.
.

Clark stared down the android. It's emotionless eyes staring right back at him. Krillin and Yamcha were on either side of the Kryptonian. Both fighters ready to back up their friend. Clark flew straight towards his opponent. Starting out with a simple but powerful punch. It wasn't anything special, but it was going to get the job done. Or at least that was the plan. Metallo had managed to catch Clark's punch with ease. The Kryptonian was shocked. It was as if his punch had lost all momentum. His power suddenly started to drain, then dizziness overcame him.

"What is happening?" The hero of Metropolis whispered to himself. The android soon opened up his chest to reveal a familiar looking green rock. "Kryptonite?" The pain only increased the longer he was exposed. Though that didn't last long. Metallo was soon kicked back by the double team of Krillin and Yamcha.

"You alright?" Krillin asked the Man of Steel. Who staggered to his feet.

"I'll live." He replied. "Though that Kryptonite's gonna make it impossible to get close. You guys are gonna have to do this by yourselves."

"Just leave it to us!" The two Ki users charged in. Krillin swooped with a low kick, while Yamcha aimed high. Metallo though dodged both. The robot extended his arm firing a green blast from his hand. Sending the bald monk backwards. Yamcha meanwhile tried again landing a hit. Though again it was blocked. After another several times trying the machine eventually hit back. The desert bandit hit the floor. Pain swirling through his body. This meant he didn't notice it about to kick him into the ground. Thankfully Krillin launched a Ki blast at the right moment. Forcing the enemy backwards. Yamcha awkwardly rose to his feet.

"This guys tough." He said, sounding very miffed.

"But were tougher!" Krillin added. Causing his friend to smile.

"Hell yeah we are." The two once again charged in. "Let's go Voltron!" The two once again tangled with their opponent. Who kept dodging their every attack. Metallo showed no signs of struggle as it knocked the two away. Krillin though recovered quickly and launched his signature attack.

"Distructo Disk!" The spinning saw went straight for the android. Who very quickly jumped out of the way. Though not quite fast enough. The small fighter managed to cut off his opponent's left thumb. All three heroes smiled. They had managed to finally damage the machine. Metallo assessed the damage to itself.

"Scan complete. Minor damage. Unit ready to continue." Metallo blurted out loud. Before deciding to go on the offensive. The fourteenth android kicked his earlier attacker in the stomach. Krillin coughed up blood, as he hit the ground. Before the robot could finish the job however, Yamcha stepped in front. Blocking a kryptonite blast coming from it's hand. The former desert bandit knelt down next to Krillin. Both men were breathing extremely heavily. They had both just taken massive hits. Superman tried his best to hurt the machine, charging in with his fist. Though it just opened the hatch and once again exposed Clark to his greatest weakness.

Yet in that moment Krillin figured it out. He knew how they would win. With all his remaining strength, The bald monk mustered up a Kamehameha. While this didn't actually hurt it. Metallo was pushed back. Being forced to close his hatch. The trio all stood up, rating to fight.

"Guys I've figured out it's weakness!" Krillin exclaimed. The other two looked at him in anticipation. "The Kryptonite isn't just for show. It powers Metallo."

"So all we need to do is separate it from that green rock? Sounds simple enough." Yamcha added.

"Except its only opening it when I get close." The man of steel pointed out. "One of you two will have to pull it out."

"I have an idea."

Metallo strolled towards the triple threat. It's green eyes fixated on the team. Superman though ran into combat. Though once again Metallo opened his hatch. Exposing the hero to Kryptonite. Clark smiled as he used his ice breath to freeze the hatch open. The Kryptonian fell to the ground in a huge lump. Metallo noticed Yamcha flying towards it from the right. However it could not do anything as Krillin appeared from were Superman fell.

"Solar Flare!" The bald monk screamed. It was only affected Metallo for a split second. Yet that was all Yamcha needed to steal the rock. The bandit was going so fast, he wasn't able to stop himself hitting a postbox. Metallo's bright green eyes looked to the sky, before fading to black. The chunk of metal that was its body hit the ground with a thud. Yamcha used his Ki to destroy his new prize. Allowing Superman to regain his full power. The three all collapsed in the street breathing heavily.

"So... Who want's a tour of the city?" Clark offered them.

.

Cyborg stared at Amazo. His human eye squinted as the android readied itself. Victor had a feeling this wasn't going to be easy. Any other time he would have instantly called for help. But his dad was in danger. And he couldn't afford to wait. The former football player turned his arm into a cannon. Signalling for the fight to begin. However instead of attacking, Amazo created the exact same cannon as Victor. The two blasted at each other, cancelling the other out.

"Victor we have to run! Project Fifteen was created using the same nano machines as you. However we went further. It has the ability to copy any powers from meta humans." Silas explained.

"Dad if we run, there's no telling how many people this thing will kill. I need to stop it. Right here! Right now!" Victor responded. While Silas felt a great amount of fear, he also could see how much victor had changed. It strangely filled him with pride.

Amazo meanwhile scanned Vic's body for a weakness. This only took three thousandths of a second. The android moved his blast so that it aimed at Victors head. The hero had to quickly dodge. Amazo lined up another Ki blast, until a kick knocked him into the ground. Victor's face fell as he saw Tien standing above the android. The former assassin had his foot on top of his enemy's face.

"Need a hand?" He asked the cyborg, sounding very sincere.

"Man, you gotta go!" Victor yelled back. Confusing his colleague.

"What, why?"

"That android! It has the power to replicate all your abilities!"

"Then I just make sure he doesn't see me!" Tien kept smashing the machine's face into the ground. Though the three eyed fighter didn't count on it grabbing ahold of his leg. Tien groaned in pain as he was sent into a wall. Bricks fell one by one onto the floor. Amazo lifted his head and stared at the former assassin. Silas backed up.

"Victor get out of here! You can't beat it!" Silas pleaded to his son.

"No! I ain't running!" Victor yelled as he once again blasted at the machine. Who used a Ki blast to send Victor flying against the wall. Silas heart sank as he scrambled towards his now faced down son. Who thankfully escaped with minor wounds. Relief overtook the scientist.

"How bad?"

"I'm alright, just gotta get up." The former college footballer watched as his friend battled the enemy. Victor attempted to rise, though his father held him back. "Dad I have to do this!" After a brief moment Silas spoke up.

"I... I know Victor. However you won't win by brute force!"

"Well what do you suggest then?" The cyborg became increasingly irritated by this situation.

"Use the computer inside your head! Your brain has one hundred Yotta bytes of data passing through it every nano second. If anyone can figure out a weakness, it's you." The son seemed very hesitant. "Listen Victor, what you're going through is scary. I can only imagine what having that amount of data passing through your brain is like. But this new body doesn't have to be a curse. You can use it to do good. Isn't that what you want?" Victor looked at the ongoing battle. Then taking a deep breath.

"Alright." Victor closed his human eye. Leaving the machine to work. The eye ran multiple tests, each one discovering more about the enemy. It didn't take long for Victor to discover a weakness. The cyborg morphed his hand into a cannon, much to both bystanders dismay.

"What are you doing? You already tried that!" Waller angrily whispered.

"Funny thing about copying others. You take their strengths. But you also take their weaknesses. I've set the nano machines to produce a blast equal to that of your anti Ki weapons." Victor announced with a grin on his face. "Take this! Anti Ki Cannon!" The blast sent Amazo flying backwards. Tien felt a sigh of relief as he steadied himself again.

"Nice shot!" He said, as Victor stood by his side.

"Been practicing." The two took a fighting position. Amazo meanwhile stepped forward. It had been shaken, but not beaten. Both men knew it was going to take more to bring down this android.
.

Thirteen smirked as he loomed over his opposition. Hal and Barry were motionless. Neither could feel any part of their bodies. They had put everything into that attack. And absolutely nothing to show for it. Thirteen looked down to see his hat burning from the explosion. His eyes then fixated on the two. Behind all the brevardo, anger ensued.

"That was my favourite trucker hat ya know. Ya'll regret doing that." Thirteen changed at the space cop. Who attempted to block him with a wall. However he couldn't create one fast enough. Hal was hurled backwards by the fist of Android Thirteen. Barry looked over, concerned for his friend. Yet he was unable to call out to him. The machine launched his fists forward. Barry could only dodge them. And even then, that was a monumental task. Soon though he noticed a gap. Without hesitation he slammed his fist into Thirteen's face. However the android smirked in response. The attack hadn't even managed to faze it. Barry stood there, trembling from his head to toes. This thing was unbeatable. At least to the two of them.

"Oh no." Barry whispered.

"Oh no." Hal added, looking at the ongoing fight.

"Oh no." Several officers yelled.

"Oh yes." Thirteen finished the conversation, kicking Barry. The speedster would have been seriously hurt had it not been fo Hal catching him in a baseball glove.

"Thanks man." Flash acknowledged his friend.

"Any more ideas?" Hal asked.

"I hit that thing with everything I had. And it didn't even scratch the paint job. I don't think we can beat it. And if it's programmed to kill us. So I don't think running away will work either." Barry explained.

"So we just let it kill us?" The speedster was about to answer back. That was until Hal spoke, and gave him an idea. The lantern noticed his pal's demeanour has changed. "Flash I was just joking." Hal proceeded to create multiple guns. All firing at thirteen in an effort to delay it.

"I have an idea, but it's risky."

"How risky?"

"Like you'll definitely die if it goes wrong." Hal has to do a double take on what Barry had just told him. "You're right. It's a stupid idea. We'll figure something else out." Barry felt Hal's hand on his shoulder.

"Barry. I trust you." The two nodded to each other. So what do we do?"

"We let him attack us!" Thirteen meanwhile has gotten fed up with this game.

"Enough of this!" Thirteen started as he sent a Ki blast towards the two heroes. It hit them both. However just before it did Barry used his speed to punch Hal so hard it stopped his heart. The attack from Android Thirteen three them on the floor. It stood over the two in victory. Both heart rates were at zero. "Guess thirteen is your unlucky number." It then flew away in triumph. Yet what the android failed to realise was Barry had sped up his heart rate. It was beating so quickly that it failed to register on the android's heart rate monitor. The speedster shot up, soon as the threat was no more. Until he remembered Hal. The Lantern still had no pulse. Barry ran towards his body.

"Lantern... come on, stay with me." The hero of Central City pleaded, as he started to perform CPR. Each second felt like an eternity, but still Hal's heart refused to start. Barry became more desperate as the seconds passed. Then in the corner of his eye, he noticed Hal's ring. It was slowly removing itself off of Hal's finger. "Oh no you don't!" With one last effort, Barry summoned as much lightning he could from the Speed Force. He slammed his hand down on Hal's chest. Thankfully Green Lantern's eyes suddenly opened, taking a deep breath. The ring once again placed itself on his hand.

"Never... Ever... Do that again." Hal said as the two laughed together.

"You were physically dead for like twenty seconds. What did you see?" The member of the Green Lantern Corp started to remember.

"Not much. Hang on... There was this really long line. And at the end of it was this giant with a wooden desk. I think it was mahogany." At this point Barry was actually worried for his partner. Hal's mood soon turned though. "Despite still being alive though, we did let that android get away though." Barry though wasn't worried.

"He'll show up again. I'm sure of it."

Just a reminder I have a poll on my profile. If you could take ten seconds just to answer it that would be fantastic. Thank you all again for reading my story.
